Recently, the traffic application based on vision in the single traffic‐monitoring scene has been widely studied and developed. However, cross‐regional research is still in its infancy. In order to help solve the application of cross‐regional traffic surveillance scenarios, this paper proposes a more reliable and accurate road scene mosaic method under multi‐camera surveillance. The mosaic road panorama contains physical information, which can be used to achieve a cross‐regional measurement. It also lays the foundation for vehicle spatial location, vehicle speed and traffic incident detection across regions. First, the mapping relationship between the three‐dimensional sub‐world coordinates and their corresponding two‐dimensional image coordinates is established by camera calibration. Second, the projection transformation relationship between two cameras is established by two sub‐world coordinate systems and their common information. Finally, we use the proposed inverse projection idea and translation vector relationship to complete the mosaic of two traffic‐monitoring road scenes. The experimental results show that the camera calibration accuracy can reach more than 97% in a single scene. The measurement accuracy of the mosaic block is over 95%. The experimental results show that the proposed method has a higher accuracy, which has great value in related theoretical research and practical applications.

“The very sun irradiates their gorgeous palace, but never bypasses our tatty hut: sunshine is equal.” -Shakespeare Equity is the common desire of all people in this world, and it is also a silently tacit agreement between countries and the strategic balance they want to pursue. However, the recent asteroid mining craze seems to be quietly influencing the existing equity degree around the globe. We developed the World Resource Equity Assessment Model (WREAM) and other related models in order to measure the equity degree of the earth as a regional system and to propose policies to regulate it.In this paper, we reviewed the relevant literature, then collected the required data and performed data pre-processing. Next, for the problem we faced, we developed a model that can assess the degree of equity of any regional system. In this model, we combined subjective hierarchical analysis with objective entropy weighting to obtain the weights of each indicator, and then calculated the IP and OP (Input and Output) for each country using the TOPSIS integrated evaluation method. By introducing the Pearson correlation linear coefficients fitted with the one-dimensional linear regression, the degree of global equity was judged by judging the magnitude of the one-dimensional linear regression coefficients. Then, we applied this World Resource Equity Assessment Model to 10 countries. we made predictions for possible future visions of asteroid mining for pre-policy interventions and post-policy interventions.

With the rapid development of urbanization in the world, it has brought enormous pressure on urban traffic management and control such as traffic congestion. An excellent urban traffic management and control system consists of three critical aspects: obtaining traffic parameters, developing traffic control scheme, and evaluating traffic control scheme. Intersection signal timing is one of the most important parts in urban traffic control. This paper proposed an intersection signal timing system based on traffic video which consists of three parts: acquisition of video-based traffic parameters, calculation of traffic flow-based signal timing scheme, and evaluation of intersection signal timing scheme. In the first part, we used advanced techniques such as deep learning and image processing to obtain traffic parameters such as traffic flow, vehicle type, composition of different vehicle types, and speed of vehicles passing through a scene in a traffic video. In the second part, we calculated the signal timing scheme of the video at the traffic scene through the obtained traffic flow information with Webster method. In the third part, the detailed traffic parameters and signal timing scheme were input into the VISSIM software for traffic microscopic simulation, which was used to evaluate the signal timing scheme. The experimental results show that the accuracy of the detailed traffic flow information obtained by the proposed system can reach more than 90%, the accuracy of composition of different vehicle types can be achieved more than 98%, and the vehicle speed accuracy can reach more than 95%. Therefore, the system improves the reliability and adaptability of the whole signal timing network. At the same time, the simulation results show that the proposed system integrates the acquisition of traffic parameters and the calculation and evaluation of signal timing schemes, and provides a good solution for solving research problems and actual needs such as signal timing optimization.

Objective Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a global health problem without effective methods to alleviate the disease progression. Amyloid β-protein (Aβ) is widely accepted as a key biomarker for AD. Metabolic syndromes, including obesity and insulin resistance, are key high risk factors for AD. Akkermansia muciniphila (Akk), the only representative human gut microbe in the genus Verrucomicrobia, can prevent the weight gain caused by a high-fat diet, repair the damaged integrity of the intestinal epithelium barrier, reduce endotoxin levels in blood and improve insulin resistance. The aim of this study is to explore the impact of Akk administration in AD model mice in different diets. Methods APP/PS1 mice were fed either a normal chow diet or a high-fat diet and were treated with Akk by gavage each day for 6 months. The impacts of Akk on glucose metabolism, intestinal barrier and lipid metabolism in the mouse model of AD were determined. Changes in brain pathology and neuroethology were also analyzed. Results Akk effectively reduced the fasting blood glucose and serum diamine oxidase levels, and alleviated the reduction of colonic mucus cells in APP/PS1 mice. After treatment with Akk, the APP/PS1 mice showed obviously reduced blood lipid levels, improved hepatic steatosis and scapular brown fat whitening. Moreover, Akk promoted the reduction of Aβ 40–42 levels in the cerebral cortex of APP/PS1 mice, shortened the study time and improved the completion rate in Y-maze tests. Conclusion Akk effectively improved glucose tolerance, intestine barrier dysfunction and dyslipidemia in AD model mice. Our study results suggested that Akk could delay the pathological changes in the brain and relieve impairment of spatial learning and memory in AD model mice, which provides a new strategy for prevention and treatment of AD., APP/PS1 mice display alterations in physiological processes after treated with Akk. It is showed that the damaged integrity of the intestinal epithelium barrier is repaired, leading to obviously reduced blood glucose and lipid levels, improved hepatic steatosis, insulin resistance and scapular brown fat whitening, which are beneficial to reduce Aβ 40–42 levels in the brain of APP/PS1 mice.

Phascolarctobacterium can produce short-chain fatty acids, including acetate and propionate, and can be associated with the metabolic state and mood of the host. The present study investigated the colonization characteristics of Phascolarctobacterium faecium in healthy individuals 1 year old). The permillage of Phascolarctobacterium faecium in total bacteria ranged between 0.004–1.479. There was presence of Phascolarctobacterium faecium-like bacteria in younger individuals with a gradual increase in the number of bacteria maintained at a high level with increasing ages (between 1 and 60 years old), but with a decrease in elderly individuals (>60 years old). The results of the present study demonstrated that Phascolarctobacterium faecium is abundantly colonized in the human gastrointestinal tract.

Background The study aimed to investigate the differences of different Akkermansia muciniphila (A.muciniphila) genotypes on metabolic protective effects in mice with high-fat diet and explore possible mechanisms. Methods Male C57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into 6 groups, including high-fat diet (HFD)+ A.muciniphila I/II/PBS group, normal chow diet (NCD)+A.muciniphila I/ II /PBS group, respectively. Dietary intervention and A.muciniphila gavage were performed simultaneously. Blood glucose and lipid metabolism, brown adipose morphology and activities, and intestinal barrier function were examined after the mice were sacrificed. Results A.muciniphila gavage improved the impaired glucose tolerance, hyperlipidemia and liver steatosis in HFD mice, and that A.muciniphila II was not as effective as A.muciniphila I. This phenomenon might be because A.muciniphila I intervention significantly inhibited brown adipose tissue whitening and inflammation induced by HFD, by repairing the intestinal barrier and relieving endotoxemia. A.muciniphila II did not display the same results as A.muciniphila I in HFD mice, but had stronger effects in the NCD mice. Conclusions This study mainly reveals the distinct functions of different A.muciniphila genotypes on diet-induced obesity, suggesting that different A.muciniphila genotypes may play inequitable roles in pathological conditions through distinct action pathways.

The prevalence of obesity and diabetes, and their complicating mental disorders, severely affect public health. This study aimed to investigate the long-term effects of an Akkermansia muciniphila subtype (A. muciniphilasub) on high-fat diet-induced obesity and diabetes, and to evaluate whether this subtype can alleviate their complicated mental disorders. Whole genome sequencing and short chain fatty acid production analysis in supernatant of pure culture were performed. Female adult C57BL/6 mice were fed a high-fat diet or a normal chow diet and were gavaged with A. muciniphilasub or phosphate-buffered saline daily for 10 months. Body weight, food consumption and blood glucose were measured. At the end of the treatment period, all mice were subjected to the Y-maze test, sucrose preference test, analyses of serum, fecal microbiota analysis and histological examination. This A. muciniphilasub had 278 unique genes compared to the type strain (A. muciniphila ATCC BAA-835) and produced short chain fatty acids both. A. muciniphilasub administration significantly reduced body weight gain and improved the spatial memory of high-fat diet-fed mice. A. muciniphilasub increased Nissl bodies in neurons of the hippocampus, and restored the high-fat diet-inhibited tryptophan metabolism. The high-fat diet led to decreased serum 5-hydroxytryptamine and induced depression, which were not alleviated by A. muciniphilasub. A. muciniphilasub increased the relative fecal abundance of Bifidobacterium, and was negatively correlated with the fecal abundance of Bacteroides. The present study demonstrated the beneficial effects of this A. muciniphilasub on body weight, blood glucose control and the alleviation of the memory decay caused by a high-fat diet in mice.

Background Akkermansia muciniphila is one of the most dominant bacteria that resides on the mucus layer of intestinal tract and plays key role in human health, however, little is known about its genomic content. Results Herein, we for the first time characterized the genomic architecture of A. muciniphila based on whole-genome sequencing, assembling, and annotating of 39 isolates derived from human and mouse feces. We revealed a flexible open pangenome of A. muciniphila currently consisting of 5644 unique proteins. Phylogenetic analysis identified three species-level A. muciniphila phylogroups exhibiting distinct metabolic and functional features. Based on the comprehensive genome catalogue, we reconstructed 106 newly A. muciniphila metagenome assembled genomes (MAGs) from available metagenomic datasets of human, mouse and pig gut microbiomes, revealing a transcontinental distribution of A. muciniphila phylogroups across mammalian gut microbiotas. Accurate quantitative analysis of A. muciniphila phylogroups in human subjects further demonstrated its strong correlation with body mass index and anti-diabetic drug usage. Furthermore, we found that, during their mammalian gut evolution history, A. muciniphila acquired extra genes, especially antibiotic resistance genes, from symbiotic microbes via recent lateral gene transfer. Conclusions The genome repertoire of A. muciniphila provided insights into population structure, evolutionary and functional specificity of this significant bacterium. This article theoretically compares the index option with the corresponding-weight portfolio of individual options on the index's constituent stocks in different cases to discuss when and whether the index option is worth purchasing. Theoretically we prove that in the normal cases when the expected return rate of the index is larger than the risk-less interest rate, the index option is more worth purchasing than the portfolio for call options, but the index option is less worth purchasing than the portfolio for put options. To give the consequences, we prove the monotonic relations between correlations and an index option's expected option return. The relations show that in the normal cases, lower correlations make the index call options more worth purchasing. However, unlike the usual perception, lower correlations make the actively traded index put options less worth purchasing. By applying mathematical analysis methods, the consequences are proved uniformly for any correlations and any strike level for all in-the-money, at-the-money, out-of-the-money options. We also prove the consequences of the cases when the expected return rate of the index is lower than or equal to the risk-less interest rate. The consequences are also uniform. The monotonic relations can also be generated to the monotonic relations between the volatility and a general option's expected option return. Our results can also explain and provide theoretical evidences on empirical findings in the real option market.

To construct a universal, highly attenuated orf virus expression vector for exogenous genes using green fluorescent protein (GFP) as the reporter gene.The flanking regions of the ORFV132 of orf virus DNA were amplified by PCR to construct the shuttle plasmid pSPV-132LF-EGFP-132RF. The shuttle plasmid was transfected into OFTu cells and GFP was incorporated into orf virus IA82Delta 121 by homologous recombination. The recombinant IA82Delta121-V was selected by green fluorescent signal. The deletion gene was identified by PCR and sequencing. The effects of ORFV132 knockout were evaluated by virus titration and by observing the proliferation of the infected vascular endothelial cells in vitro.The recombinant orf virus IA82Delta121-V was obtained successfully and quickly, and the deletion of ORFV132 did not affect the replication of the virus in vitro but reduced its virulence.Green fluorescent protein is a selectable marker for rapid, convenient and stable selection of the recombinant viruses. Highly attenuated recombinant orf virus IA82Delta121-V can serve as a new expression vector for exogenous genes.

Aim This study investigates the colonization rate of Akkermansia muciniphila in the gastrointestinal tracts of people living in southern China and applies a modified method for the isolation and subtyping of A. muciniphila strains from faecal samples. Methods and Results Fresh faecal samples were collected and bacterial DNA was extracted from these samples for real-time PCR analysis. Strains were separated using a culture-dependent sPCR-directed method and classified using an enterobacterial repetitive intergenic consensus (ERIC-PCR) DNA fingerprinting method. The colonization rate for the sample population from southern China was 51·74%. We isolated 22 strains from human faeces. The results revealed that all strains were identifiable as A. muciniphila with 99–100% identity to the type-strain ATCC BAA-835. ERIC-PCR resulted in grouping of the DNA fingerprints showed that 12 distinct clusters were distinguished with a delineation level of 100%. Conclusions Southern China has a high rate of A. muciniphila colonization and over 12 different subtype strains reside in faecal samples. Significance and Impact of the Study Akkermansia muciniphila has a beneficial role in human gastrointestinal tract. These studies provide a better understanding of A. muciniphila and details of its colonization in the human gastrointestinal tract.

Contact Riemannian manifolds, whose complex structures are not necessarily integrable, are generalization of pseudohermitian manifolds in CR geometry. The Tanaka-Webster-Tanno connection plays the role of the Tanaka-Webster connection of a pseudohermitian manifold. Conformal transformations and the Yamabe problem are also defined naturally in this setting. By constructing the special frames and the normal coordinates on a contact Riemannian manifold, we prove that if the complex structure is not integrable, its Yamabe invariant on a contact Riemannian manifold is always less than the Yamabe invariant of the Heisenberg group. Contact Riemannian manifolds, with not necessarily integrable complex structures, are the generalization of pseudohermitian manifolds in CR geometry. The Tanaka-Webster-Tanno connection on such a manifold plays the role of Tanaka-Webster connection in the pseudohermitian case. We prove the contact Riemannian version of the pseudohermitian Bochner-type formula, and generalize the CR Lichnerowicz theorem about the sharp lower bound for the first nonzero eigenvalue of the sub-Laplacian to the contact Riemannnian case., Comment: 23 pages

Using high-hydrogen fuels in industrial gas turbines is an effective way to achieve near-zero carbon emission power generation. Lean premixed combustion can effectively reduce NOx emission. However, due to the strong flashback and auto-ignition tendencies during fuel-air mixing, it is a challenge to use lean premix combustion mode of high hydrogen fuels under gas turbine operation conditions. An innovative conceptual design of arrayed-vanes premixer was proposed to achieve safe and uniform mixing of fuel and air. Inside the arrayed-vanes premixer, a cascade of mixing vanes is arranged in the axial annular air flow passage. Fuel-air mixing and flow field stretch are improved and well controlled by the arrayed vanes. The conditions of auto-ignition and flame stabilization inside the vanes are unsatisfied. Meanwhile the upstream flow disturbance will be inhibited by the arrayed vanes, which benefits combustion stability. The arrayed-vanes premixer was designed and its flow field was numerically simulated under the operation condition of F class gas turbine combustors. The flow and fuel-air mixing behavior was analyzed and compared with a typical swirl-based premixer now widely used in DLN combustors of F class gas turbines. The results show that the non-uniformity index of fuel concentration distribution at the exit plane of the arrayed-vanes premixer is 50% lower than that of the swirl-based premixer. The responses of flow field at the exit plane to the inlet flow disturbance was calculated and compared for the two types of permixer. The inlet flow disturbance includes the velocity distortion and the oscillation of the pressure. The results show that the arrayed-vanes premixer absorbs and damps the inlet flow disturbance better than the swirl-based premixer. And it exhibits highly monochromatic characteristic through the acoustic signature analysis. Furthermore, the tendencies of auto-ignition and flashback were investigated by examining the flow field and the flammability of hydrogen. The results show that there is a low risk of auto-ignition or flashback due to the short residence time and the high discharge velocity. The present study indicates that the arrayed-vanes premixer achieves ultra uniform fuel-air mixing, good adaptability to inlet flow disturbance and anti auto-ignition and flash back, which is benefit to DLN combustor designed for high-hydrogen fuels. This design will be possibly used in DLN combustors after future developments.
