In October 1908, a Ford Model T designed by József Galamb and companions, rolled out of the assembly line and achieved for the company a worldwide success it still enjoys today. The car's ease of use and reliable construction, as well as its affordable price, won the favour of buyers so much that the model was produced until 1927. The increasingly successful Hungarian chief designer of the Ford Motor Company, József Galamb never forgot his homeland. When he returned home, he supported his brothers in building up and running a Ford site and assembly plant in Makó, and established scholarships, gave lectures to members of the professional community, and supported the Reformed Church in Makó. A dominant design is thought to usher in a period of intense competition based on cost, causing an often-fierce industry shakeout. We aim to challenge the foundations of the dominant design literature, and develop new insights about the evolution of competition. We argue that strategic repositioning and elevated exit rates are often observed long before the emergence of a dominant design, and that a key cause is the introduction of a particular product for which demand is unexpectedly high (an 'innovation shock'). This introduction creates a dilemma for followers, which we suggest is resolved based on followers' comparative adjustment costs. "Iron cage" appears to be mistranslated from Weber's "Gehäuse" by Parsons. Correctly speaking, it has been noted that the word should be translated as "shell," which presents an extremely promising possibility in management studies: what appears to be a talisman on the front has rigid persons clinging onto the other side. If a shell has a competitive advantage, this would excuse the rigidity. However, if the shell is losing, or has already lost, its competitive advantage, clinging onto it becomes a problem. For example, Ford and IBM grew rapidly by clinging onto their shells—the Model T Ford in the case of Ford and the System/360 for IBM. However, these companies gradually went into decline later as their product design fossilized. Apart from product designs, it is easy to find examples of shells in companies that have experienced periods of growth and maturity, for example, retail networks, parent company sales power, real estate, patents, and franchise. Both managers and employees are fully aware that they can no longer expect growth as long as they cling onto their shell. Even so, the shell remains a source of rent. SUMMARY It happened over a hundred years ago that Henry Ford introduced his famous Model T passenger car. At that time, variants and extra features were presumably rather irrelevant compared with the automobile itself, which represented the suitable response to the need of millions of new customers. Since then, a vast range of changes, functions, improvements, and so on were designed and eventually taken into mass production. Among those, in particular since the 1920s, car radios were introduced for commercial (broadcast) and professional (communications) purposes [2]. Wireless communications nowadays represent an important area for the car industry, for infotainment (information and entertainment), comfort, environmental and safety-related services. In the field of connectivity, and specifically in the context of antennas for wireless functions, it may be of particular relevance to consider the proposition of a new European satellite technology based on S band, namely, the Digital Video Broadcasting-Satellite Handheld standard for the forward link and the European Telecommunications Standards Institute S-band Mobile Interactive Multimedia standard for the return link, both in S-Band. The mentioned standards are able to provide new satellite services for mobile terminals, such as broadcasting of radio, TV, and data contents, by using Digital Video Broadcasting-Satellite Handheld and interactive services on the return link. This paper describes the activities related to the mentioned S-band system carried out by Calearo in the frame of the COSTARS (low COst S-band receive/Transmit Antenna for vehiculaR applicationS) project, co-funded by ESA-ESTEC. In particular, the authors first briefly analyze the state of the art of the services present in the car industry from the perspective of automotive antennas, analyzing the current wireless applications and considering the amount of highly integrated functionalities already present, or being proposed. Then, the design and performances of a switchable dual polarized automotive transmission/reception antenna (COSTARS project) and usable for S-band automotive applications are introduced. Like any other revolution, the one that we are living nowadays will cause victims. The Mass-media and the retail have been already hit rising of the digital technology, the same as in the past in the days the confection factories, entailed the end of the loom, and the appearance of the Ford Model T brought to extinction of the blacksmith on the market. If we look now to the future factories, we will probably get frightened on the idea. Not only will the manner be affected, but also the place where the objects will be made as well. The article discusses the American children's book author Elwyn Brooks (E.B.) White and examines how his travels to the state of Montana in 1922, accompanied by his college friend Howard Cushman, influenced the content of his book "The Trumpet of the Swan." The article chronicles how White and Cushman traveled cross-country via a Model T Ford automobile serving in various capacities as piano players and farms hands in temporary jobs. It notes how White continued writing letters to the Hart family, the owners of a ranch with whom the two stayed while on the trip, throughout his life. It also comments on how the plot of the book reflected ideas of wildlife conservation and discusses the establishment of the Red Rock Lakes National Wildlife Refuge to protect trumpeter swans.

The manufacturer's search for durable and lightweight steel illuminates one factor to the success of the automobile. The automobile's design concept focused on combining the previously distinct mobility- and horse-minded markets into a single mass market and applying a one-size-fits-all approach to a machine that had previously been defined by its variety.

In the early twentieth century, the Model T Ford defined the desirable, affordable automobile, enabled by new technologies in mechanics, materials, and manufacturing. Control, computing, communications, and the underlying software are the technologies that will shape the personal mobility experience of the twenty-first century. While the Model T was self-contained, the external reach of wireless communication technologies will define the boundaries of the twenty-first century automobile, which will be only one component in a large intelligent transportation infrastructure. The article presents a discussion of innovations in business enterprises. Although it is a fact that consumers are always expect innovations from products, it is costly for businesses to make such developments. It explains the "Model T" analysis, acquired from the Model T automobile by Henry Ford, which indicates twenty percent of the manufacturer's cost were joined in complication. Model T analysis emphasizes the company's focus on what its processes would look like with just one standard offering. Businesses should always primarily determine a basic version of their main product or service.
