The purpose of this research is to analyze the effects of production and operational costs, capital structure and company growth on profitability. The method used in this research is quantitative method, data collection is performed by distributing questionnaires among employees of packaging industry. The population in this study are industrial employees in Jabodetabek whose numbers have not been identified with certainty. The questionnaire is distributed electronically using a simple random sampling technique. The results of the questionnaire returned are 180 respondents. Based on the results of data analysis, it is concluded that Capital structure has a significant effect on profitability. An increase in the capital structure variable will be followed by an increase in profitability and a decrease in variable capital structure will be followed by a decrease in profitability. Company growth has no significant effect on profitability. An increase in the company growth variable will not be followed by an increase in profitability and a decrease in variable company growth will not be followed by a decrease in profitability. Operational cost has a significant effect on profitability. An increase in the operational cost variable will be followed by an increase in profitability and a decrease in variable operational cost will be followed by a decrease in profitability. Production cost has no significant effect on profitability. An increase in the production cost variable will not be followed by an increase in profitability and a decrease in variable production cost will not be followed by a decrease in profitability.

Green work–life balance (GWLB) has emerged from sustainability and work–life balance (WLB) studies. The goal is to examine how GWLB policies benefit organisations. This focuses how individuals could reduce an organisation's environmental impact. The sustainability of green human resource management (GHRM) practices and human resource (HR) operations has changed significantly in recent years. HR are an organisation's most important assets. This study examines how GWLB and GHRM practices affect a corporate sustainability performance (CSP) and employee retention (ER) of UK's industrial companies. It also examines how organisational culture (OC) andgreen innovation (GI), affect these aspects. This study surveyed 450 operational supervisors in a variety of manufacturing firms in the UK. A self-administered survey using a scale was used to collect data. SPSS 26 and Smart PLS 4 analysed the data. According to research, GHRM practices and GWLB programs improve CSP and ER. The data also show that GI mediates the relationship between GHRM practices, ER, GWLB, and CSP. In the UK manufacturing industry, OC helps maintain a GWLB, ER, implement environmentally friendly HR practices, and achieve CSP goals. This study investigates the intricate connection between digital financial literacy (DFL) components and financial skills (FSK) in relation to financial goals (FG) while considering the moderating role of financial experience (FE) and financial awareness (FA) within the rapidly developing digital payment environment in Indonesia. Utilizing a quantitative approach and structural equation model (SEM) analysis of survey data from 633 participants. The results indicated that all aspects of DFL have a substantial impact on FSK and FG. FSKs are crucial in enhancing FG, as they play a key role in mediating the effect of all DFL components on FG. Although FE strengthens the moderating role, it is not significant. Conversely, FA weakens the relationship, but this is not statistically significant. The research presents undeniable evidence that the fundamental aspects of DFL comprising knowledge of digital financial services (KDFS), awareness of digital finance risk (ADFR), and digital finance risk control (DFRC) have a direct impact on FSK. Financial sustainability is one of the major issues in the development process, particularly in developing countries. Microfinance started with two basic objectives of poverty reduction and women empowerment. However, unsustainable microfinance providers cannot assist the poor for a longer period of time, due to uncertainty about their existence. This study investigates that how financial sustainability of Pakistan's microfinance sector is affected by various factors. A new financial sustainability index has been developed to measure the financial sustainability. Generalized Method of Moments (GMM) approach is employed to analyze the panel data from 34 Pakistani MFPs, yielding 344 MFI-years of observations from 2006 to 2018. The findings reveal that increase in loan size, female borrowers, liquidity, and leverage significantly enhances the financial viability of Microfinance Providers in Pakistan. However, the total borrowers and the operating cost per borrower negatively affect the financial sustainability of MFPs in Pakistan. MFIs needs to be financially independent, with less or no support from government or donor agencies. Financially sustainable MFPs contributes in the achievement of the 8 out of 17 Sustainable Development of Goals (2030 SDGs) of the United Nation. The data for 2018 onwards is seriously affected by COVID-19, which cannot be included in the current data set. Hence, researchers in future analyze the data from the pre-COVID-19 and post-COVID-19 periods to compare the analysis and examine the pandemic's impact. Plain language summary: This study investigated the relationship between organizational structure, growth outreach, women's empowerment, liquidity, capital structure, cost efficiency, and financial stability using data from 34 MFPs in Pakistan over the 2006–2018 periods. The financial sustainability index was developed using principal component analysis and was used as a proxy of financial sustainability. ROA, ROE, OSS, and FSS were used as components for developing the financial sustainability index. Due to the inclusion of lagged dependent variables as part of explanatory variables for the persistency of the estimates, the model becomes dynamic. Hence, the Generalized Method of Moment (GMM) is arguably the right regressor for estimating the dynamic panel data. Organizational structure has a significant positive impact on the microfinance sector of Pakistan. Proxies for measuring growth outreach: the average loan per borrower has a significant positive impact, and the number of active borrowers has a negative effect on FSI in Pakistan. The percentage of women borrowers significantly positively impacts FSI in Pakistan. Liquidity has a significant positive effect on FSI in the Pakistan context. The capital structure (D/E) has a significant positive impact on FSI in the microfinance sector of Pakistan. The cost per borrower has a significant negative impact on the financial sustainability of the microfinance sector of Pakistan. This research examines the intersection of disruptive technologies specifically blockchain, AI, and Big Data with corporate governance, synthesizing insights from a diverse range of scholarly works. This research employed a comprehensive literature review methodology. We sourced and analyzed scholarly articles and papers from prominent databases, focusing on key themes such as the impact of these technologies on corporate governance, potential benefits, and associated challenges. We investigate the implications of these technologies on corporate governance, scrutinizing potential benefits and associated challenges. Our findings reveal that blockchain, with its potential to enhance transparency and reduce information asymmetry, promises to transform accounting and auditing practices. Nevertheless, the successful integration of blockchain into mainstream financial systems necessitates addressing technical and regulatory challenges. AI's potential to augment decision-making capabilities offers opportunities for improved auditing efficiency, yet raises ethical concerns and implementation complexities. Lastly, Big Data presents opportunities for driving sustainable innovation and informed decision-making, while posing significant challenges concerning data privacy and security. This study's findings carry implications for practitioners, policy-makers, and academics alike, providing critical insights into the dynamic interplay between disruptive technologies and corporate governance. Nowadays, the coffee shop industry has experienced significant growth and popularity in recent years. With the rise of coffee drinking culture and the increasing demand for coffee, coffee shops have become an important part of the urban landscape. This study examines the role of the marketing mix in enhancing better customer satisfaction services in the coffee shop industry. This research used the path analysis method with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used was the purposive sampling method. The research data was collected by using a questionnaire with 320 respondents who had visited 9 coffee shops listed on the Indonesia Travel website. This formula used to calculate the number of respondents in this study uses a sample size of ten times the rule. This research analysis tool uses SEM-PLS. The result of this study shows that of the seven variables studied, the variables of price, location, promotion, personnel, and premises facilities had no significant effect, while the variables of service quality and service process significantly affected customer satisfaction with coffee shop services in Jakarta. The implication of this research is expected to help marketers develop more effective marketing strategies and focus on elements that impact customer satisfaction.

Rines is a micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) which produces specialty snacks from the Mojokerto area, soybean chips. This study aims to examine internal and external factors influencing the business, and thus, provides an insight into the business’s current state to devise an effective strategic framework. Employing mixed method research, data are collected through interviews, literature reviews, and questionnaires administered to key decision-makers within the business. The analysis incorporates several analytical instruments, including the Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) Matrix, External Factor Evaluation (EFE) Matrix, and Internal-External (IE) Matrix. The results of this research obtained that the IFE and EFE values were above the average, indicating that Rines had been able to control their internal and external factors. Then from IE matrix placing Rines in Quadrant I represents the category of growing and developing businesses (Grow and Build). The recommended strategies for Rines include intensive strategies and integrative strategies such as backward integration, forward integration, and horizontal integration.

To encourage technological and industrial innovation, nations worldwide implement "re-industrialization" and "manufacturing return." This study investigates the relationship between GDP growth, expenditure on research and development, and medium- to high-tech as a percentage of manufactured exports on technological innovation in Pakistan. We evaluated long-run and short-run causal relationships using the ARDL, bound-F test, and ECM regression. The study found a positive relationship between GDP growth and technological innovation in the short and long run. In the short run, with a one-year lag, the analysis reveals a positive and statistically significant relationship between technological innovation, medium-high-tech exports, and GDP growth. In the long run, R&D is positive and significant, while economic growth and technological innovation are positive but not statistically significant. There is a 0.38 percent chance that exogenous shocks will eventually lead to equilibrium in the long run. Based on the findings of this study, it is recommended to allocate resources to research and development, promoting collaborative initiatives, ensuring intellectual property rights, and developing a skilled workforce. The quality of life (QoL) of workers during the Covid-19 pandemic is an important issue that must be considered. Unfortunately, research related to the QoL of workers during the Covid-19 pandemic for the non-health sector is still very limited. Moreover, no one has comprehensively investigated QoL involving not only the perceived threat of Covid-19, Covid-19-related workplace policy, and job insecurity but also digital literacy, perceived organizational support (POS) during Covid-19, quality culture, and safety culture. Therefore, to fill the gap in the literature, this study studied QoL by involving perceived threat of Covid-19, Covid-19 related workplace policy, job insecurity, digital literacy, POS, quality culture, and safety culture. Quantitative research method was carried out in this research. Data collection was conducted through an online survey. The research respondents were 181 non-health sector workers in Indonesia. SEM-PLS was used as an analytical tool. The results showed that QoL was directly and positively affected by POS and safety culture. In addition, QoL was also indirectly affected by Covid-19-related workplace policy, quality culture and safety culture by post. However, several factors, namely the perceived threat of Covid-19, job insecurity, and digital literacy did not have a significant effect on the QoL of non-health sector workers during the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition, this research also found that quality culture did not affect Covid-19 related workplace policy and job insecurity. The perceived threat of Covid-19 was not affected by the Covid-19-related workplace policy and safety culture. Job insecurity was affected by the perceived threat of Covid-19. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This research aims to evaluate the impacts of village fund allocations on economic empowerment and poverty reduction among low-income populations in Klungkung Regency, Bali. Utilizing a mixed-method approach, the study engaged 259 participants across 37 villages. Methods included observations, interviews, and in-depth interviews for data gathering. Analytical techniques encompassed descriptive statistics, mean difference tests, and path analysis. Key findings reveal that: (1) village funds significantly bolster economic empowerment for low-income groups; (2) while village funds alone do not directly reduce poverty levels, economic empowerment contributes to a marked decrease in poverty; (3) economic empowerment serves as a complete mediator in the relationship between village funds and poverty reduction; (4) the program's implementation exhibits strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats which collectively influence its effectiveness; (5) post-program poverty levels show a notable decline compared to pre-program figures. This study underscores the scarcity of research measuring community empowerment and poverty in relation to village funds, highlighting its potential as a policy-making reference. Contributing to regional economic development literature, this study supports the attainment of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through an integrative analysis of village fund efficacy.
