Prolyl hydroxylase 3 (PHD3) hydroxylates HIFα in the presence of oxygen, leading to HIFα degradation. PHD3 inhibits tumorigenesis. However, the underlying mechanism is not well understood. Herein, we demonstrate that PHD3 inhibits the metastasis of colon cancer cells through the occludin-p38 MAPK pathway independent of its hydroxylase activity. We find that PHD3 inhibits colon cancer cell metastasis in the presence of the PHD inhibitor DMOG, and prolyl hydroxylase-deficient PHD3(H196A) suppresses cell metastasis as well. PHD3 controls the stability of the tight junction protein occludin in a hydroxylase-independent manner. We further find that PHD3-inhibited colon cancer cell metastasis is rescued by knockdown of occludin and that occludin acts as a negative regulator of cell metastasis, implying that PHD3 suppresses metastasis through occludin. Furthermore, knockdown of occludin induces phosphorylation of p38 MAPK, and the p38 inhibitor SB203580 impedes cell migration and invasion induced by occludin knockdown, indicating that occludin functions through p38. Moreover, knockdown of occludin enhances the expression of MKK3/6, the upstream kinase of p38, while overexpression of occludin decreases its expression. Our results suggest that PHD3 inhibits the metastasis of colon cancer cells through the occludin-p38 pathway independent of its hydroxylase activity. These findings reveal a previously undiscovered mechanism underlying the regulation of cancer cell metastasis by PHD3 and highlight a noncanonical hydroxylase-independent function of PHD3 in the suppression of cancer cells.

The traditional English listening test system does not focus on analyzing students’ strengths and weaknesses, and designing a test bank with targeted exercises will be beneficial for students to grasp their actual situation. In this paper, after combining the twin network structure with the pre-trained language model, the Fusion-LM language matching model is constructed, which is utilized to calculate the matching similarity of students’ language features in the test. The adaptive grouping module and automatic scoring module are designed with constraints in mind and the adaptive test question bank for college English listening comprehension is established together. The validity test of the test question bank revealed that the test results of each module of the system meet the requirements, and the errors generated by automatic scoring are basically less than 2 points. The results of the teaching control experiment on whether to apply the test bank show that there is a significant difference between the post-test scores of the experimental and control classes of college English listening utterance comprehension (P=0.025

College English reading instruction represents a crucial component in enhancing students’ overall linguistic competencies. The advent of cognitive psychology has facilitated the application of the SOLO categorization theory as a novel approach to augmenting students’ proficiency in English reading. This study devises a teaching model tailored to college English reading based on the SOLO categorization theory and implements a systematic research design to evaluate its effectiveness. The efficacy of this model is assessed by comparing the changes in English reading learning attitudes, scores, and capabilities between an experimental group and a control group, using pre-and post-test results. The findings indicate that the mean difference in the English reading learning attitudes between the two groups expanded from 0.09 at the pre-test stage to 0.54 at the post-test stage. Moreover, the experimental group exhibited a substantially greater increase in English reading scores, with an improvement of 14.16, compared to 3.68 in the control group. In terms of English reading abilities, the experimental group outperformed the control group across four dimensions, with increases of 2.86, 1.04, 1.76, and 3.28, respectively. Overall, the university English reading teaching model grounded in SOLO classification theory significantly enhances students’ attitudes towards English reading and effectively boosts their reading achievements and capabilities.

In order to achieve comprehensive poverty eradication, this paper analyzes the general structure of the poverty return early warning mechanism and the operation idea under the perspective of rural revitalization and explores the methods and systems of emergency decision-making for poverty return early warning. At the same time, based on the dynamics and scientific quantifiability, we have constructed the poverty return early warning indicator system, established the alarming degree of poverty return early warning, and combined the principal component analysis method and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. The empirical design is carried out on the basis of the design of the poverty return warning evaluation index system; the weight coefficients are derived from the principal component factors, and the fuzzy comprehensive score is calculated. The results show that the overall poverty return risk score is S={0.21, 0.27, 0.19, 0.18, 0.15}, and the risk early warning fuzzy evaluation value is 0.27, which is 87.4 points, and belongs to mild risk.

Fatty acid and central carbon metabolism are crucial energy metabolism reactions. However, to date, few studies have examined their distribution characteristics within the alfalfa–rhizobia symbiotic system. To clarify the distributional differences and accumulation rates of fatty acids and central carbon with this system, we measured the plant phenotype, nodule formation, nitrogen fixation capacity, and key nitrogen metabolism enzyme activities of Medicago sativa ‘Gannong No. 9’ 35 days post-inoculation (dpi) with Sinorhizobia meliloti LL11. Additionally, we employed targeted metabolomics to analyze central carbon and fatty acid metabolites in various tissue samples of symbiotic and control (C.K.) plants, as well as in S. meliloti LL11. We found that plant height; root length; aboveground fresh and dry weights; underground fresh and dry weights; and nitrate reductase, nitrogen reductase, glutamine synthetase, and glutamate synthase activities were significantly higher in the leaves and roots of symbiotic plants than in those of C.K. plants. Compared to symbiotic plants, C.K. plants exhibited higher total central carbon and fatty acid metabolite content, accounting for 38.61% and 48.17% of C.K. plants, respectively. We detected 32 central carbon and 40 fatty acid metabolites in S. meliloti LL11, with succinate (343,180.8603 ng·mL−1) and hexadecanoic acid (4889.7783 ng·mL−1) being the most. In both symbiotic and C.K. plants, central carbon metabolite was considerably higher than the fatty acid metabolite central. Moreover, the carbon metabolites found in symbiotic plants were primarily distributed in pink nodule roots (PNRs), with malate exhibiting the highest content (4,800,612.3450 ng·g−1), accounting for 53.09% of total central carbon metabolite content. Fatty acid metabolites were mainly found in pink root nodules (P.N.s), which are sites of nitrogen fixation. Trans-10-nonadecenoic acid and hexadecanoic acid exhibited the highest contents, comprising >15% of the total fatty acid metabolite content. We found that petroselaidic acid is only present in P.N., which seems to be closely related to the nitrogen fixation reaction in P.N. In general, symbiotic plants transfer central carbon metabolites to nodules via PNRs to drive nitrogen fixation. However, in P.N.s, these metabolites are limited, leading to accumulation in PNRs. Fatty acid metabolites, crucial for nitrogen fixation, are prevalent in P.N.s. Conversely, C.K. plants without nitrogen fixation distribute these metabolites primarily to the stems, emphasizing growth. This study provides new insights into the energy metabolism of symbiotic nitrogen fixation.

Nuclear power fire protection is an important part of nuclear safety, and strengthening fire protection technology research is essential for improving nuclear safety and fire protection. The operating platform inside a containment structure is one important element in fire risk evaluation in nuclear power plants. In this paper, a combustible nuclear-grade cable in a fire scenario was firstly selected as the research object, and then the nuclear-grade cable was separately subjected to a combustion test as well as a thermogravimetric test in order to obtain the relevant thermal parameters, which provide more accurate data support for the establishment of a cable fire development and spread model. The nuclear-grade cable material data obtained from the test were compared with a civil PVC cable in order to conduct a specific analysis of the fire risk of nuclear-grade cables. This study shows that the effects of different heating rates and heating atmospheres on the thermal decomposition behavior of cable materials are meaningful and helpful in understanding whether the materials will undergo combustion processes at high temperatures and whether fire spread will occur.

Plant height plays an important role in crop yield, product quality, and cultivation management. However, the physiological mechanisms that regulate the establishment of plant height in alfalfa plants remain unclear. Herein, we measured plant height traits, leaf characteristics, photosynthetic physiology, cell wall composition, and endogenous hormone contents of tall- and short-stalked alfalfa materials at different reproductive periods. We analyzed the physiology responsible for differences in plant height. The results demonstrated that the number of internodes in tall- and short-stalked alfalfa materials tended to converge with the advancement of the fertility period. Meanwhile, the average internode length (IL) of tall-stalked materials was significantly higher than that of short-stalked materials at different fertility periods, with internode length identified as the main trait determining the differences in alfalfa plant height. Leaf characteristics, which are closely related to photosynthetic capacity, are crucial energy sources supporting the expression of plant height traits, and we found that an increase in the number of leaves contributed to a proportional increase in plant height. Additionally, a significant positive correlation was observed between plant height and leaf dry weight per plant during the branching and early flowering stages of alfalfa. The leaves of alfalfa affect plant height through photosynthesis, with the budding stage identified as the key period for efficient light energy utilization. Plant height at the budding stage showed a significant positive correlation with soluble sugar (SS) content and a significant negative correlation with intercellular CO2 concentration. Moreover, we found that alfalfa plant height was significantly correlated with the contents of indole-3-acetic acid in stem tips (SIAA), gibberellin A3 in leaves (LGA3), zeatin in stem tips (SZT), and abscisic acid in leaves (LABA). Further investigation revealed that SS, SIAA, and LGA3 contents were important physiological indicators affecting alfalfa plant height. This study provides a theoretical basis for understanding the formation of alfalfa plant height traits and for genetic improvement studies.

The oncoprotein transcription factor paired box 2 (PAX2) is aberrantly expressed in cancers, but the underlying mechanism remains elusive. Prolyl hydroxylase 3 (PHD3) hydroxylates the proline residue of HIFα, mediating HIFα degradation. The von Hippel-Lindau protein (pVHL) is an E3 ligase which mediates ubiquitination and degradation of hydroxylated HIFα. PHD3 and pVHL are found to inhibit the expression of PAX2, however, the molecular mechanism is unclear. Here we demonstrate that PHD3 hydroxylates PAX2 at proline 9, which is required for pVHL to mediate PAX2 ubiquitination and degradation. Overexpression of PHD3 enhances prolyl hydroxylation, ubiquitination and degradation of PAX2 with little effect on those of PAX2(P9A). PHD3 does not influence PAX2 expression in VHL-null cells. pVHL binds to PAX2 and enhances PAX2 ubiquitination and degradation. However, pVHL does not bind with PAX2(P9A) and cannot enhance its ubiquitination and degradation. Our results suggest that proline 9 hydroxylation is a prerequisite for PAX2 degradation by pVHL. Functional studies indicate that introduction of PAX2 into PAX2-null COS-7 cells promotes cell proliferation, which is suppressed by co-expression of PHD3 but not by hydroxylase-deficient PHD3(H196A). PHD3 inhibits PAX2-induced, but not PAX2(P9A)-induced proliferation of COS-7 cells. These results suggest that PHD3 hydroxylates PAX2, followed by pVHL-mediated PAX2 ubiquitination and degradation. This study also suggests that PHD3 inhibits cell proliferation through downregulating PAX2.

Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are important precursors of ground-level ozone and secondary organic aerosol, and its monitoring and emission control are very necessary for national environmental protection. Under the guide of policy and demand, on-board monitoring technology for VOCs becomes popular. The on-board monitoring technology has high spatial and temporal resolution and high efficiency for VOCs monitoring, which has become the hotspot technology in VOCs rapid monitoring filed. However, when there are many target compounds with the same quality, there is only one peak in the mass spectrum for these compounds obtained by the traditional on-board monitoring technology with the method of single mass spectrometer, which reduces the detection precision. Therefore, dual mode VOCs on-board monitoring system including SPI-TOF MS model and fast GC-SPI-TOF MS model were established by developing fast gas chromatography (GC)-single photon ionization (SPI)-time of flight mass spectrometry (TOF MS) devices combing with mobile car. When VOCs were monitored by the on-board monitoring system, the SPI-TOF MS mode was firstly used to analyze the VOCs in air by the process of driving, and the results of real-time qualitative quantitative analysis for each point of VOCs were obtained. When high value point of VOCs pollution was found, the car was stopped, and the analysis mode was switched to GC-SPI-TOF MS to determine whether there were compounds with the same m/z, which aimed at ensuring the speed of onboard monitoring and improving the detection accuracy at the same time. During the research, the performance of the system was evaluated by PAMs and TO-15 standard gas. The results showed that the system had a good detection ability for isomers and co-effluent components from GC. The reproducibility error of signal intensities were lower than 5.00% for 92% compounds by both SPI-TOF MS mode and GC-SPI-TOF MS mode, the reproducibility error of retention time was lower than 0.30% for 100% compounds, and the detection limits for typical VOCs species were between 0.28×10-9 and 8.50×10-9, which were better than the national or local testing standard. The system was applied to VOCs monitoring at an industrial park. With high time resolution (in seconds) monitoring ability, m/z 120 was identified for normal propyl benzene which came from suspicious enterprises B. Rapid GC-SPI-TOF MS is a quick and accurate monitoring equipment for VOCs, which not only improves the ability of equipment for VOCs monitoring, but also provides data support for VOCs emission management and control in China.

Alfalfa is a leguminous plant with strong autotoxicity, which seriously affects regeneration and stability. In order to clarify the relationship between the key autotoxic substances and autotoxicity of alfalfa, this experiment determined the content of phenolic autotoxic substances in different varieties of alfalfa and the effect of different concentrations of alfalfa extracts on seed germination, seedling growth and physiology. The results showed that the content of single autotoxic substances in the eight alfalfa varieties was highest for total coumarin. The variety with the highest total coumarin content was “LZ”, and the lowest content was “656”. Principal component analysis of the autotoxicity of eight alfalfa varieties revealed that the variety with the strongest autotoxicity was “LZ” and the weakest was “656”. After treatment with extracts, the germination potential, germination rate, germination index and vigor index of 656 were higher than those of LZ, and the seeds of LZ and 656 did not germinate when the concentration was higher than C0.025 and C0.05, respectively. Compared with LZ, 656 had stronger osmotic regulation and antioxidant capacity, while the degree of membrane lipid peroxidation and ROS accumulation were lower. Further correlation analysis between the autotoxic substance content and autotoxicity observed that the content of total coumarin and autotoxic substances showed a significant positive association with autotoxicity (p < 0.01), and the total coumarin content showed a significant positive correlation with the content of autotoxic substances (p < 0.05). The total coumarin content is the major contributor to autotoxicity, and the higher the coumarin content, the higher the autotoxic substance content and the stronger the autotoxicity. Eight alfalfa varieties were systematically clustered on the basis of total coumarin content and autotoxicity, and the high-autotoxic alfalfa variety “LZ” and low-autotoxic alfalfa variety “656” were screened.

Cultivating new alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.) varieties with high yield and quality is of great significance for improving alfalfa yield and promoting the development of the grass and livestock industry. Plant height is an important indicator of alfalfa yield and is closely related to photosynthetic capacity, harvest index and yield. However, the underlying cause of the variation in height among alfalfa plants is not clear. In this paper, we measured the phenotypic traits, photosynthetic physiology and endogenous hormone content of tall- and short-stalked alfalfa materials and analyzed the important external and internal factors that caused the difference in plant height of alfalfa. We found that the phenotypic traits of tall- and short-stalked alfalfa materials showed significant differences, and dwarf alfalfa showed significant shortening of the main stem internode length. There were also some differences in light and physiological indicators and endogenous hormone contents between tall- and short-stalked alfalfa materials. Through correlation analysis, we found that the phenotypic traits and physiological indicators significantly correlated with alfalfa plant height were the number of internodes, stem diameter, average internode length, leaf–stem ratio, leaf area, Pn (net photosynthetic rate), Tr (transpiration rate), upper leaf SP (soluble protein), Suc (sucrose) content, middle stem Sta (starch) content, middle stem ZT (zeatin) and IAA (indole-3-acetic acid). Further analysis showed that Tr, IAA and LA played a direct role in plant height, with Tr contributing the most to plant height, followed by IAA. Finally, we found that the starch content of the middle stem had a significant impact on plant height through principal component analysis. These results provide new insights into the formation and genetic improvement of plant height traits in leguminous forages such as alfalfa.

Objective To explore the clinical value of artificial intelligence (AI) in the diagnosis of intracranial aneurysms by head and neck CT angiography (CTA). Methods A total of 117 patients with clinically suspected intracranial aneurysms admitted in our hospital from August 2020 to January 2021 were enrolled, and their head and neck CTA and digital subtraction angiography (DSA) data were collected and retrospectively analyzed. Taking DSA results as the gold standard, the sensitivity and accuracy of AI in the diagnosis of intracranial aneurysms were calculated. In addition, the results of AI automatic measurement were recorded, and the consistency test was conducted with the results of DSA manual measurement. Results Among the 117 suspected patients, there were 105 cases diagnosed with intracranial aneurysms by DSA, with a total of 136 aneurysms. ①Diagnostic efficiency: The sensitivity and accuracy of AI for aneurysm diagnosis were 87.6% and 79.5%, respectively, taking patients as unit. While taking lesions as unit, the sensitivity of AI diagnosis was 55.2%, 81.5%, 92.9% and 79.4% for aneurysms < 3 mm, 3.5 mm, >5 mm, as well as for the total number of aneurysms, respectively; And the accuracy was 53.8%, 75.3%, 86.3% and 72.0%. ②Quantitative analysis: The results of AI and DSA showed good consistency in the measurement of the total aneurysm length diameter, total short diameter, and >5 mm aneurysm length diameter (ICC=0.778, 0.822 and 0.722, P < 0.001); But poor consistency was seen in the measurement for < 3 mm and 3~5 mm aneurysm length diameter (ICC=0.113, 0.142, P>0.05). Conclusion AI has a high value in the application of head and neck CTA in the diagnosis of intracranial aneurysms, with its measurement results to be used as a reference standard in tumors with length diameter >5 mm, it can be further promoted and applied as an auxiliary diagnostic tool.

The rock mass in the hydro-fluctuation belt of the reservoir bank slope is subjected to long-term water-rock interaction and frequent moderate-low intensity reservoir earthquake. The deterioration of the mechanical properties of the rock mass caused by this directly affects the dynamic response and seismic capacity of the reservoir bank slope. Based on this, the settings of the fluctuating zone of the bank slope of the reservoir are simulated, and the water-rock interaction test to simulate the periodic rise and fall of the reservoir water level is designed and carried out. In the course of the test, the cyclic loading and unloading method is used to simulate the influence of seismic action, and the sequential action of water-rock interaction and cyclic loading and unloading is mainly considered. According to the test results, the following conclusions are obtained. (1) The dynamic parameters of the rock sample generally change exponentially from steep to gentle under the water-rock interaction. After considering the sequential action of water-rock interaction and cyclic loading and unloading, the deterioration rate and trend of dynamic parameters of rock samples increase obviously, indicating that frequent moderate-low intensity reservoir earthquakes can obviously promote the damage development of bank slope rock mass in the environment of water-rock interaction for a long time. (2) Under the action of water-rock interaction and cyclic loading and unloading, the microstructure of rock samples gradually loosens from the compacted state, and the corresponding integrity degradation coefficient and the secondary porosity also show a trend of steepness and then slowness. Among them, the microstructure changes of rock samples under the sequential action of periodic water-rock interaction and cyclic loading and unloading are the most significant, followed by the rock samples with initial cyclic loading and unloading damage, and the change of rock samples under the water-rock interaction alone is the smallest. The changes and differences of the microscopic structure of the rock sample under different schemes also govern the degradation law of its dynamic characteristics. (3) Under the long-term water-rock interaction and frequent moderate-low intensity reservoir earthquakes, the internal damage of the reservoir bank slope will gradually accumulate and develop, which will directly affect the dynamic response characteristics and seismic capacity of the reservoir bank slope. Therefore, the degradation law of the dynamic characteristics of the bank slope rock mass should be systematically considered in the analysis and evaluation of long-term seismic performance of reservoir bank slope.

Rhizome-rooted alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.) is an excellent forage for establishing grazing and ecological grasslands, requiring a high and stable yield. Studying the genetic and physiological basis of stable expression of biomass traits is essential for improving production performance in rhizome-rooted alfalfa. We analyzed forage mass and photosynthetic physiological indices of the improved progenies (RSA−01, RSA−02, and RSA−03), parental “Qingshui” (CK1), and “WL168” (CK2) at ages one and five years and their relationships, then revealed heterotic stability. Moreover, we explored the effects of interannual dynamics and genetic differences on tested indices. The results revealed compared with the forage mass of CK1, RSA−03 at ages one and five years increased by 22.17% and 19.72%, respectively, while RSA−01 and RSA−02 varied from 1.40% to 8.65%, indicating obvious heterosis in forage mass of RSA−03. At one year of age, Gs value, Car content and SS content of RSA−03 were higher than those of CK1; SS content of RSA−03 were higher than those of CK2 and RSA−02; Ci, Gs and Tr values of RSA−03 were higher than those of RSA−01. At five years of age, Pn, Gs, and WUE values, and Sta content of RSA−03 were higher than those of CK1; Ci value and Suc content of RSA−03 were higher than those of CK2; Car content and Gs value of RSA−03 were higher than those of other progenies. The forage mass; Chl(a/b) ratio; Pn, Gs, and WUE values; Suc content of RSA−03 at age five years were higher than those at age one year by 9.99%–44.24%. Through path analysis, Gs and NSC were direct factors affecting forage mass at age one year, and both Pn and SP affected forage mass indirectly through Gs; Gs and Chl(a+b) were direct factors affecting forage mass at age five years, and SS affected forage mass indirectly through Gs. Interestingly, Chlb, Chl(a/b), Pn, Tr, Gs, Ci, Suc, SP, and SS were more influenced by age than genetics, while the opposite was true for Car and Sta. Accordingly, RSA−03 showed obvious and stable heterosis in forage mass and photosynthetic physiology, recommending the establishment of grazing pastures and ecological vegetation.

Abstract Background Enhancer–promoter interactions (EPIs) play key roles in transcriptional regulation and disease progression. Although several computational methods have been developed to predict such interactions, their performances are not satisfactory when training and testing data from different cell lines. Currently, it is still unclear what extent a across cell line prediction can be made based on sequence-level information. Results In this work, we present a novel Sequence-based method (called SEPT) to predict the enhancer–promoter interactions in new cell line by using the cross-cell information and Transfer learning. SEPT first learns the features of enhancer and promoter from DNA sequences with convolutional neural network (CNN), then designing the gradient reversal layer of transfer learning to reduce the cell line specific features meanwhile retaining the features associated with EPIs. When the locations of enhancers and promoters are provided in new cell line, SEPT can successfully recognize EPIs in this new cell line based on labeled data of other cell lines. The experiment results show that SEPT can effectively learn the latent import EPIs-related features between cell lines and achieves the best prediction performance in terms of AUC (the area under the receiver operating curves). Conclusions SEPT is an effective method for predicting the EPIs in new cell line. Domain adversarial architecture of transfer learning used in SEPT can learn the latent EPIs shared features among cell lines from all other existing labeled data. It can be expected that SEPT will be of interest to researchers concerned with biological interaction prediction.

Sustainably intensifying agriculture to secure food for people, while minimizing the human, animal, and environmental health impacts is an unprecedented global food security challenge. Action research is needed to understand and mitigate impacts, with Ecosystem approaches to health (Ecohealth) emerging as a promising framework to support such efforts. Yet, few have critically examined the application of Ecohealth principles in an agricultural context, particularly in Southeast Asia where agricultural intensification is rapidly expanding. In this paper, we evaluate the strengths, challenges, and opportunities of agriculture-related Ecohealth projects in low-resource settings of Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and China, drawing on a case study of the Field Building Leadership Initiative (FBLI). To do this, we used a developmental evaluation framework involving several iterative cycles of document reviews, interviews, focus groups, and outcome harvesting with researchers, partners, and community members involved in FBLI. Results highlight the importance of transdisciplinarity, participation, and knowledge-to-action principles in co-generating knowledge and co-developing practical solutions. Implementing such principles presents challenges in terms of coordinating regional collaborations, managing high workloads, meaningfully engaging communities, and ensuring ongoing monitoring and evaluation. To address these challenges, there is a need to strengthen capacity in integrated approaches to health, improve institutionalization of Ecohealth, foster community engagement, and systematically monitor and evaluate efforts. Ecohealth holds significant promise in improving food security, but only when considerable time is spent developing and implementing projects with communities.

The over-current phenomenon of direct starting of high voltage and high power motor is serious bad for the safety of motor. We are usually using motor soft start method when we need to start a motor. There are some motor soft start methods, they can somehow reduce the starting over-current, but they are still having some defects except motor drive inverter. Motor drive inverter can not only realize the purpose of energy saving, but also is an ideal soft start device. We can see a lot of papers about control method research of motor drive inverter, but no paper research on motor soft start by motor drive inverter [1]. This paper focuses on research of motor soft start by motor drive inverter. The optimal frequency range of soft start is obtained through theoretical analysis. The simulation results verify the correctness and feasibility of the theoretical analysis.

Twenty lake bottom surface layers mud and water samples in the Qilihai Wetland and the Beidagang Reservoir in Tianjin were taken to do diatoms analysis. More than 6000 diatoms were identified and divided into 117 species and 28 genera. Based on the calculation of DAIpo(Diatom Assemblage to organic water pollution), the water pollution level of the Beidagang Reservoir can be divided into: Xenosaprobic, β -oligosaprobic, α -oligosaprobic, β -mesosaprobic, from clear to slightly cloudy water. The water pollution level of Qilihai wetland can be divided into: extremely oligarchy dirt belt, β oligarchy dirt belt, α oligarchy dirt belt, β Medium dirt belt, that is, the water quality is clear to slightly turbid. The water quality of the Beidagang Reservoir is clearer than that of the Qilihai Wetland. The physical and chemical indexes such as EC, pH, TN, TP and CODMn were determined for the water samples, and the correlation between DAIpo and these measured values was analyzed. The results showed that the degree of water pollution detected was consistent with the conclusion obtained by diatom analysis. The results show that the water quality of the Beidagang Reservoir and the Qilihai Wetland was mildly polluted in the spring and summer of 2019, but the eutrophication is more serious.

Soil microorganisms play a crucial role in the response to global warming in terrestrial ecosystems. Soils with higher microbial diversity have more ecological functions, higher resistance to environmental stress and higher crop production capacity. At present, the research on the effect of temperature change on soil microorganisms mostly adopts the methods of outdoor infrared temperature measurement or exchange and transplantation of soil with different temperature zones. Here, we investigate how temperature gradients potentially affect soil bacterial communities to change. For this reason, we used indoor precise temperature control treatment and combined high-throughput sequencing with bioinformatics to systematically analyze the diversity and species composition of soil bacteria under different temperature gradients, and to clarify the variation trend and interaction relationships of different species with temperature gradients. Global warming poses a serious threat to agriculture and natural systems, in part because of the change of soil moisture content, which changes soil microbial communities and ecological processes. Soil water content is the main factor limiting the growth of plants in soil. Microbial communities rely on soil water to complete their activities, and reveal the changes of underground microbial communities under different soil moisture content, which will help us to further understand the potential impact of climate change on soil ecosystem. To investigate the soil bacterial community structure, we established experiment indoor in the West foot of Daxing’an Mountains with manipulative water content treatments consisting of 20%, 15%, 10%, 5%, 0%. Results showed that bacterial community composition varied significantly with altered drought stress , but community richness did not. The relative abundance of Actinobacteria increased with the increase of drought stress, Proteobacteria, Acidobacteria and Gemmatimonadota decreased with the increase of drought stress, actinobacteria was more likely to accumulate or maintain stable under drought stress, bacterial communities can responding directly to changes in soil moisture.

Rhizosphere fungi play an important role in agricultural ecosystems. Their activities and interactions greatly affect various ecosystem processes related to nutrient cycling, soil borne diseases and crop health. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of rotation fallow mode of spring wheat, potato, fallow and spring wheat, rape, fallow on rhizosphere fungi community structure and functional fungi composition of spring wheat. In this paper, high-throughput sequencing and bioinformatics were used to systematically analyze the diversity, composition and abundance of functional fungi in the rhizosphere of spring wheat at flowering stage. The results showed that: compared with WWW, rotation fallow mode could increase the diversity of rhizosphere fungi and eliminate a small number of specific fungi; The dominant phylum of spring wheat rhizosphere fungi were Ascomycota (32.72-47.99%), Basidiomycota (8.39-34.21%) and Mortierellomycota (2.05-18.42%). In order to improve prediction accuracy of coal seam water infusion effect by using BP neural network, genetic algorithm was used to optimize weight value and threshold value of BP neural network. Genetic algorithm-BP neural network model was built and used to predict wetting radius of coal seam water infusion. The Matlab simulation result shows that the genetic algorithm-BP neural network model has more accurate prediction result than BP neural network model, average relative error of the genetic algorithm-BP neural network model is reduced by 40.29%, training steps are reduced by 1 665 steps, convergence speed is fast and stability is good. From 2015 to 2019, samples of surface mud from the bottom of the artificial lake in Tianjin Normal University were collected for diatom analysis and identification in May and June. 1296 diatoms were identified and divided into 25 species. DAIpo (Diatom Assemblage Index to organic water pollution) was calculated: 56 in 2015, 76 in 2017, 58 in 2018 and 63 in 2019. In 2017, it was β-oligosaprobic, and in 2015, 2018 and 2019, it belonged to α-oligosaprobic. The Jinyaoshi Lake is an artificial lake where groundwater is exposed by artificial excavation, and its water source mainly comes from groundwater, then by precipitation. It shows that the pollution degree of the Jinyaoshi Lake was not serious since 2015, and its pollution level was α or β-oligosaprobic.

Diatom analysis was conducted on the surface sediments from the estuaries of the new Yongding River and Haihe River in Tianjin. The results showed that the main diatom assemblages in the new Yongding River was Navicula marina-Auliscus caelatus-Coscinodiscus hirosakiensis-Coscinodiscusoculus-iridis and Auliscus caelatus- Coscinodiscusoculus-iridis-Cyclotella meneghiniana-Cyclotella stylorum in the Haihe River. There was saprophilous taxa, Cyclotella meneghiniana, in both estuaries indicating that the two estuaries were polluted to a certain degree.

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) has emerged as a major public health concern, around which the international leadership has come together to form strategic partnerships and action plans. The main driving force behind the emergence of AMR is selection pressure created due to consumption of antibiotics. Consumption of antibiotics in human as well as animal sectors are driven by a complex interplay of determinants, many of which are typical to the local settings. Several sensitive and essential realities are tied with antibiotic consumption – food security, livelihoods, poverty alleviation, healthcare access and national economies, to name a few. That makes one-size-fits-all policies, framed with the developed country context in mind, inappropriate for developing countries. Many countries in the South East Asian Region have some policy structures in place to deal with AMR, but most of them lack detailed implementation plans or monitoring structures. In this current debates piece, the authors argue that the principles driving the AMR agenda in the South East Asian countries need to be dealt with using locally relevant policy structures. Strategies, which have successfully reduced the burden of AMR in the developed countries, should be evaluated in the developing country contexts instead of ad hoc implementation. The Global Action Plan on AMR encourages member states to develop locally relevant National Action Plans on AMR. This policy position should be leveraged to develop and deploy locally relevant strategies, which are based on a situation analysis of the local systems, and are likely to meet the needs of the individual member states.
