Abstract

The present paper describes the experiences gained from the design methodology and operation of a 3D physical modelexperiment aimed to investigate the dynamic behaviour of a spar buoy floating offshore wind turbine. The physical model consists in a Froude-scaled NREL 5MW reference wind turbine (RWT) supported on the OC3-Hywind floating platform. Experimental tests have been performed at Danish Hydraulic Institute (DHI) offshore wave basin within the European Union-Hydralab+ Initiative, in April 2019. The floating wind turbine model has been subjected to a combination of regular and irregular wave attacks and different wind loads. Measurements of displacements, rotations, accelerations, forces response of the floating model and at the mooring lines have been carried out. First, free decay tests have been analysed to obtain the natural frequency and the modal damping ratios of each degree of freedom governing the offshore. Then, the results concerning regular waves, with orthogonal incidence to the structure, are presented. The results show that most of longitudinal dynamic response occurs at the wave frequency and most of lateral dynamic response occurs at rigid-body frequencies. Abstract

L'Italia sembra soffrire di vizi antichi che, in un periodo di crisi, non trovano più un bilanciamento nella generale crescita di ricchezza; né il sindacato, né le imprese, né la classe politica o l'apparato amministrativo dello stato riescono però a intervenire con decisione, realizzando poche riforme, da tanto tempo attese. Il risultato è una legislazione incerta e oscillante, che spesso finisce per sperimentare soluzioni poco fortunate, che costringono dopo pochi anni a tornare indietro, sperperando così denaro, tempo e la fiducia del proprio elettorato. Eppure basterebbe guardare alla storia recente del nostro paese per rendersi conto che in passato non è mancato il coraggio e la capacità di trovare compromessi di alto livello, capaci di assicurare a tutti un risultato vantaggioso. Abstract

Abstract

The Overtopping BReakwater for Energy Conversion (OBREC) is a new typology of overtopping wave energy converter (OTD) integrated into a traditional rubble mound breakwater. The device can be considered as an innovative non-conventional breakwater that has the same functions as the traditional structures with the added-valued of the energy production. The paper presents a comprehensive overview of the OBREC, offering a synthesis of the complete design process, from the results of the two complementary test campaigns in small scale carried out in 2012 and 2014 at Aalborg University, to the description of the full-scale device installed in Naples in 2016. The device represents the first OTD device in full-scale integrated into an existing rubble mound breakwater and it has been equipped by an instrumental apparatus to measure its response to the wave interaction. The monitoring of the full-scale device in the port of Naples, particularly during storm conditions, is aimed to study the scaling effects in wave loading and the overall performance of this breakwater-integrated OTD, included performance in terms of the energy production.

Il volume raccoglie, nella sua prima parte, alcuni recenti scritti dell'Autore diretti ad illustrare le novità introdotte dal Jobs Act del 2015 (riforma delle mansioni, della cassa integrazione, delle “collaborazioni”). La seconda parte è dedicata all'analisi del lavoro pubblico, affrontando molte delle questioni ancora irrisolte in tema di giurisdizione e di progressione di carriera. Nella terza parte si indagano settori (come il decentramento produttivo, la tutela interazionale del lavoro, la povertà, la famiglia), un tempo lontani dall'attenzione del giurista, descrivendo così la complessiva evoluzione del quadro normativo, anche alla luce delle trasformazioni che hanno luogo in ambito sovrannazionale. Abstract

The paper will present the activities and results of a transnational programme of European territorial cooperation (MED Programme) financed by the European Union. The BLUENE project aims to map key actors, existing initiatives and define guidelines related to Blue energy in Mediterranean Sea.“Blue energy” is not only offshore wind power generation, which has started to expand rapidly in Europe, but also other offshore renewable energy technologies (tidal barrages, wave energy converters, etc.), which are still at an early stage of development, but are growing rapidly. The project involves 4 partners fromItaly, Spain, Croatia, Greece that act at MED level, starting from their own countries and enlarging the investigation field to the other MED countries and regions by involving also some key associated partners (from other MED countries and from all over Europe) in the scientific board.
