Introduction Police-community relations encompass the spectrum of interactions and attitudes exhibited between law enforcement agencies and the communities they serve. The quality of these relations varies from positive to negative and can significantly impact community well-being. Poor relations can lead to distrust, cynicism, and even fear, while positive relations facilitate trust-building and effective communication. The concept of police-community relations encompasses a broader support framework that includes public relations, community service, and citizen participation. Objective This study focuses on evaluating the level of performance of police-community relations within Naguilian, La Union. Specifically, the study aims to assess the performance level, satisfaction level, and the gravity of challenges faced within police-community relations in this municipality. Method The research employed a quantitative approach, utilizing a descriptive survey design. The research instruments, questionnaires, were structured based on data provided by the local police force. Weighted mean analysis was employed to measure the performance, satisfaction, and seriousness of encountered challenges related to police-community relations. Results and Conclusions Results indicate excellent police performance in implementing community relations programs, aiding in crime prevention and civic awareness. Residents express high satisfaction with these programs, displaying cooperation and support. While challenges exist, they do not significantly impede the resident-police partnership. Rationale In recent years, the global food industry has increasingly emphasized reducing waste and utilizing resources more efficiently. In this context, the substantial amount of banana peels discarded as waste presents a significant opportunity for innovation. By transforming these peels into functional and nutritious ingredients, such as banana peel flour, we can address both environmental concerns and enhance the nutritional content of baked goods. This study seeks to contribute to this innovative shift by assessing the viability of banana peel flour as an alternative to traditional flour in producing banana cakes. From a nutritional standpoint, bananas are a widely consumed fruit with valuable health benefits due to their high content of vitamins, minerals, and dietary fiber content.
