Relative pupillary afferent disorder (RAPD) plays a crucial role in diagnosing optic nerve dysfunction. This paper introduces an innovative equipment design with a high-speed pupil detection algorithm and a binocular independent stimulation optical path. The proposed algorithm utilizes the grayscale characteristics of the pupil region to achieve rapid and accurate pupil detection and tracking. Initially, a pupil threshold is estimated using eigenvalues, enabling the calculation of the pupil centroid. Subsequently, leveraging the unique characteristics of the pupil region, a dynamic tracking algorithm, a second-order partial derivative threshold algorithm, and a pupil diameter extraction algorithm are employed to precisely locate the centroid. By incorporating a binocular independent stimulus light path design, the algorithm overcomes limitations associated with the current measurement equipment. The experimental results demonstrate the algorithm's high robustness and fast detection speed, meeting the tracking speed requirement of 1250 frames per second for a single eye. A complex [Ni(meophtpy)2](ClO4)2⋅2H2O (1) (meophtpy = 4'-(4-methoxyphenyl)-2,2':6',2"-terpyridine) has been synthesized and characterized by IR, element analysis, TGA and single crystal X-ray diffraction. The complex crystallizes in Tetragonal system with space group I41/a, a = 24.470(4), b = 24.470(4), c = 13.845(5)Å, V = 8290.12 ų, Dc = 1.558 g/cm³, Z = 8, F(000) = 4016, final GOF = 1.021, R1 = 0.0619, and wR2 = 0.1261 for 3616 observed reflections with I >2δ(I). The crystal structure analysis shows that a three dimensional network overlapped with terpyridine motifs was formed by hydrogen bonds and π-π interactions which are seldom found in terpyridine complexes. Two complexes [Ag(bpy)(H2O)]·(Hbac) (1) and [Ag2(bpy)2(H2O)2](pdc)·(H2O)5(2) (H2bac = benzilic acid, bpy = 4,4′-bypyridine, H2pdc = 2,6-pyridinedicarboxylic acid) have been synthesized and characterized by IR, element analysis, X-ray-single crystal diffraction and TGA. The bifunctional pyridine-2,3-dicarboxylic acid (H2pdc) ligand has one N atom and four O atoms, which could bind more than one AgI centre with diverse binding modes. A novel infinite one-dimensional AgI coordination polymer, namely catena-poly[[silver(I)-(μ2-pyridine-2,3-dicarboxylato-κ2 N: O3)-silver(I)-tris(μ2-5-methyl-1,3,4-thiodiazol-2-amine-κ2 N: N′)] monohydrate ethanol monosolvate], {[Ag2(C7H3NO4)(C3H5N3S)3]·H2O·C2H5OH} n, has been synthesized using H2pdc and 5-methyl-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-amine (tda), and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. A silver complex, Ag(L)(2,2'-bpy)(H2O) 2 (1), has been synthesized with 3-(benzoimidazol-2-yl)propanoic acid (HL) and 2,2'-bipyridine (2,2'-bpy) and characterized by IR, elemental analysis, TGA, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Four terpyridine coordination complexes, [Zn(meophtpy)2]·(ClO4)2·(H2O) (1), [Cd(meophtpy)2]·(ClO4)2(2), [Zn(nh2phtpy)2]·(ClO4)2(3), and [Cd(nh2phtpy)2]·(ClO4)2(4) (meophtpy = 4′-(p-methoxylphenyl)-2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridine, nh2phtpy = 4′-aminophenyl-2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridine), were synthesized using the solvothermal method. These complexes have been characterized by IR spectra, elemental analyses, and X-ray diffraction. In all these complexes, the metal ions are coordinated by six nitrogens from two terpyridines. 3-D networks have been constructed by hydrogen bonds and π–π interactions. The luminescence of these four complexes has been investigated in the solid state at room temperature. The Sichuan snub-nosed monkey (Rhinopithecus roxellana) is a typical arboreal group-living Old-World primate and has been studied broadly in hand preference. However, infants have not been tested independently from other immature individuals to date. The purpose of the present study was to investigate hand preference in a spontaneously unimanual feeding task in nine infants at 12 months and the relationship of hand preference with their parents in R. roxellanae. Most infants (89%) showed individual-level hand preference. No correlation was found in the direction of hand preference between infant and its parents, and a significant negative correlation in the strength of hand preference was found between infants and their mothers (r = −0.715, p = 0.03). Moreover, there was no sex difference in the direction and strength of hand preference both in infants and adults (i.e., parents). Meanwhile, the strength of hand preference in adults was stronger than that in infants. This study is a first and preliminary exploration for the expression of hand preference in R. roxellanae infants and whether their hand preference was influenced by familial inheritance. Complex 3 shows a interdigitated 2D layer with the sql topology, which is further extended into a 3D supramolecular framework through π-π interactions and hydrogen bonds. Complex 4 features a two-fold interpenetrated (4,4)-connected 3D + 3D → 3D framework with the bbf topology. Complex 5 reveals a 2D network constructed by binuclear Cd 2 (CO 2) 4 secondary building unit (SBU) with the sql topology which is further packed into a 3D supramolecular framework through π-π interactions. Complex 6 is a 3D network constructed by binuclear Cd 2 (CO 2) 2 O 2 SBU with the uninodal 6-c pcu topology. These results indicate that the versatile coordination networks of imphtpy and various polycarboxylate ligands play crucial roles in modulating the structural topologies of coordination networks. The zinc(II) coordination polymer Zn2(L)2(bix)2·2H2O (1) [H2L = 4,4'-methylenebis(oxy)dibenzoic acid, bix = 1,4-bis(imidazole-1-yl-methylene)-benzene] was synthesized by hydrothermal reaction. The title compound was characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, IR spectroscopy, and elemental analysis. The crystal structure determination reveals that compound 1 displays a twofold interpenetrated 3D framework, in which the Zn atoms are connected by the H2L ligands into interesting right and left-handed helical chains. Topological analysis reveals that the title compound displays a (3,4)-connected (6³) (65·8) topology. The solid-state luminescent spectra was studied. We compared the effects of hibernation inactivity and 14-day hindlimb unloading in non-hibernating period on biochemical, rheological, and hematological parameters of blood in Daurian ground squirrels ( Spermophilus dauricus). Twenty-four squirrels were randomly divided into four groups: control (CON), hibernation (HIB), post-hibernation (POST), and 14-day hindlimb unloading (HU). The results showed that serum enzymes ( l-lactate dehydrogenase, alanine aminotransferase, and aspartate aminotransferase) activities decreased in HIB, POST, and HU squirrels compared with CON. Total protein (including albumin and globulin) maintained in HIB but decreased in HU compared with CON. Total cholesterol and high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol increased in HIB but maintained in HU and POST compared with CON. Meanwhile, serum creatinine decreased and urea increased in HU compared with CON. All blood ions concentrations were unchanged in HIB, POST, and HU squirrels compared with CON except calcium which increased in HIB compared with CON, and phosphorus which increased in HIB and POST compared with CON. Most of detected serum biochemical analytes in POST recovered to the CON level. Blood viscosity, which was unchanged in all shear rates in HU, increased in HIB and recovered in POST in lower shear rates compared with CON. Erythrocyte and corpuscular volume decreased in HIB and HU but maintained in POST compared with CON. All the routine hematological parameters recovered in POST as compared with CON except platelet, which decreased in HIB and POST but maintained in HU compared with CON. The design and synthesis of functional coordination polymers is motivated not only by their structural beauty but also by their potential applications. ZnII and CdII coordination polymers are promising candidates for producing photoactive materials because these d10 metal ions not only possess a variety of coordination numbers and geometries, but also exhibit luminescence properties when bound to functional ligands. It is difficult to predict the final structure of such polymers because the assembly process is influenced by many subtle factors. Bis(imidazol-1-yl)-substituted alkane/benzene molecules are good bridging ligands because their flexibility allows them to bend and rotate when they coordinate to metal centres. Two new ZnII and CdII coordination polymers based on mixed ligands, namely, poly[[μ2-1,4-bis(imidazol-1-ylmethyl)benzene-κ2 N3: N3′]bis(μ3-2,2-dimethylbutanoato-κ3 O1: O4: O4′)dizinc(II)], [Zn2(C6H8O4)2(C14H14N4)] n, and poly[[μ2-1,4-bis(imidazol-1-ylmethyl)benzene-κ2 N3: N3′]bis(μ3-2,2-dimethylbutanoato-κ5 O1, O1′: O4, O4′: O4)dicadmium(II)], [Cd2(C6H8O4)2(C14H14N4)] n, have been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis. Both complexes crystallize in the monoclinic space group C2/ c with similar unit-cell parameters and feature two-dimensional structures formed by the interconnection of S-shaped Zn(Cd)-2,2-dimethylsuccinate chains with 1,4-bis(imidazol-1-ylmethyl)benzene bridges. Reaction of (Bu4N)2[Mo(mnt)3] (mnt = cis-1,2-dicyano­ethyl­ene-1,2-dithiol­ate) with [Cu2(dppa)2(MeCN)4](ClO4)2 [dppa = bis­(diphenyl­phosphino)amine] yields the polymeric heterometallic title compound, {[Cu2Mo(mnt)3(μ-dppa)2(MeCN)2]·2CH3CN} n or {[Cu2Mo(C4N2S2)3(C24H21NP2)2(C2H3N)2]·2C2H3N}. The compound exhibits a polymeric zigzag structure formed from [Mo(mnt)3]2− and [Cu2(dppa)2(MeCN)2]2+ units linked by coordination of the CN groups of the mnt ligands to the CuI centres. From the viewpoint of crystal engineering, the construction of crystalline polymeric materials requires a rational choice of organic bridging ligands for the self-assembly process. Multicarboxylate ligands are of particular interest due to their strong coordination activity towards metal ions, as well as their various coordination modes and versatile conformations. The structural chemistry of dicarboxylate-based coordination polymers of transition metals has been developed through the grafting of N-containing organic linkers into carboxylate-bridged transition metal networks. A new luminescent two-dimensional zinc(II) coordination polymer containing bridging 2,2-dimethylsuccinate and 4,4′-bipyridine ligands, namely poly[[aqua(μ2-4,4′-bipyridine-κ2 N: N′)bis(μ3-2,2-dimethylbutanedioato)-κ4 O1, O1′: O4: O4′;κ5 O1: O1, O4: O4, O4′-dizinc(II)] dihydrate], {[Zn2(C6H8O4)2(C10H8N2)(H2O)]·2H2O} n, has been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and elemental, IR and thermogravimetric analyses. In the structure, the 2,2-dimethylsuccinate ligands link linear tetranuclear ZnII subunits into one-dimensional chains along the c axis. 4,4′-Bipyridine acts as a tethering ligand expanding these one-dimensional chains into a two-dimensional layered structure. Hydrogen-bonding interactions between the water molecules (both coordinated and free) and carboxylate O atoms strengthen the packing of the layers. The design and preparation of crystalline polymeric materials has attracted increasing attention due to their diverse applications as functional materials in gas storage, separation, catalysis, sensing and photoluminescence. The judicious selection of organic linkers is critical for varying the coordination behaviour of the metal ions and determining the overall characteristics of the networks. A new adenine-based ZnII coordination polymer, [Zn(C6H2O4S)(C5H5N5)] n or [Zn(tdc)(9H-ade)] (H2tdc is thiophene-2,5-dicarboxylic acid and ade is adenine), has been prepared hydrothermally and the crystal structure exhibits in its packing two-dimensional (4,4) grid sheets parallel to the ab plane, featuring two distinct square cavities delimited by the two types of ligands and the ZnII ions with the dimensions 6.6 × 6.6 and 10.2 × 10.2 Å (based on the Zn...Zn distance). The title complex shows enhanced photoluminescence at 378 nm compared to the free ligands, suggesting that the coordination of H2tdc or adenine to the metal centre effectively increases the rigidity of the ligands and reduces the energy loss by radiative decay of intraligand excited states. Although we point out a link between tourism management strategies and tree mortality, other factors, such as natural ecological differences (e.g. in climate, soil quality, and tree use by other species) and primate group sizes should be considered in future research. Background. Morule-like component (MLC) was a rare structure in primary lung adenocarcinoma. We aimed to reveal the clinicopathological, radiological, immunohistochemical, and molecular features of lung adenocarcinoma with MLCs. Methods. Twenty lung adenocarcinomas with MLCs were collected, and computed tomographic and histological documents were reviewed. Immunohistochemistry, targeted next-generation sequencing, and Sanger sequencing for β-catenin gene were performed. Results. There were 9 lepidic adenocarcinomas, 8 acinar adenocarcinomas, 2 papillary adenocarcinomas, and 1 minimally invasive adenocarcinoma. Most patients (16/17) were shown a pure solid nodule, and 1 patient was shown a partly solid nodule on chest computed tomography (CT). Nine cases were accompanied with micropapillary components, and 3 were with cribriform components in which 2 suffered a worse prognosis. No significant association was found between the MCLs and the overall survival of lung adenocarcinoma (P = 0.109). The MLCs were often arranged in whorled or streaming patterns. The cells in MLCs showed syncytial and mild appearance. The MLCs were positive for E-cadherin, CK7, TTF-1, napsin-A, vimentin, and β-catenin (membrane), and negative for CK5/6, p40, p63, Synaptophysin, chromogranin A, and Cdx-2. EGFR mutation, ALK-EML4 fusion, HER2 amplification, and PIK3CA mutation were detected in 16 cases, 2 cases, 1 case, and 1 case, respectively. EGFR mutation was more frequent in adenocarcinomas with MLCs than those without MLCs (P = 0.040). β-catenin gene mutation was not detected in any patients. Conclusions. MLC is often observed in the background of acinar, lepidic, and papillary adenocarcinomas. Lung adenocarcinomas with MLCs tend to appear as a solid mass on CT and harbor EGFR gene mutations. The micropapillary components and cribriform components may cause poor prognosis of lung adenocarcinomas with MLCs. The postharvest ripening and senescence of ‘Nanguo’ pears ( Pyrus ussuriensis Maxim. ) can be effectively delayed by low temperature storage. However, peel browning (PB) often occurs in pear fruit during shelf life at room temperature. In this study, ATP treatment on ‘Nanguo’ pears has efficiently inhibited the occurrence of PB. Higher flesh firmness, ATP concentration and energy charge (EC) were detected in ATP-treated fruit during shelf life. Malondialdehyde (MDA) concentration and electrolyte leakage were lowered in ATP-treated fruit. Gene expression levels of ATP synthase ( ATPase ), NADH dehydrogenase ( NDA ) and vacuolar proton-inorganic pyrophosphatase ( VPP ) were promoted by ATP treatment, and the activities of ATPase , NDA and VPP were higher in ATP-treated fruit. The elevated activity and gene expression of phospholipase D ( PLD ) were restrained under ATP treatment. Refrigeration delayed the ripening of ‘Nanguo’ pears ( Pyrusussuriensis Maxim.), but the aroma of the pears was apt to fade when the fruit was transferred to room temperature. ATP treatment, in which the pears were exposed to 1 mol/L ATP for 2 h on the day of removal from refrigeration for 150 d, alleviated the occurrence of aroma fading of the pears in this study. ATP-treated pears showed higher firmness, TSS, ethylene production, and respiration rate during the whole shelf life. Increasing ATP concentration and energy charge (EC) were found in ATP-treated fruit. The concentration of fatty acids was higher in the ATP-treated fruit. Higher enzymes activities and genes expression of transcripts for lipoxygenase ( LOX ), alcohol dehydrogenase ( ADH ), and alcohol acyltransferase ( AAT ), which were associated with LOX pathway, were detected in the treated fruit during the shelf life. Objective We analyzed a case of medulloblastoma with atypical dynamic imaging changes retrospectively to summarize the atypical magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) features of medulloblastoma by reviewing the literature. Methods An atypical case of medulloblastoma in the cerebellar hemisphere confirmed by pathology was analyzed retrospectively, and the literature about it was reviewed. Results The radiologic findings of the patient were based on 3 examinations. The first examination showed that the cortex of the bilateral cerebellar hemisphere had diffuse nodular thickening, with a high signal on diffusion-weighted imaging and significant enhancement. Contrast enhancement MRI 1 year later showed the signal of cerebellar hemisphere returned to normal but revealed an enhanced nodule. A reexamination 6 months later showed an irregular mass with a high-density shadow in the cerebellar vermis on CT scan. The T2-weighted image revealed multiple degenerative cysts, and the mass had significant enhancement. Conclusion The radiologic characteristics of atypical medulloblastomas vary in adults and children. Understanding the radiologic characteristics of medulloblastomas, such as MRI features, age of onset, and location of atypical medulloblastomas, can help improve the diagnosis of medulloblastomas. Abstract: The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of acupuncture on cognitive deficits and oxidative stress in cerebral multi-infarction rats. The results showed that acupunctural treatment attenuated memory impairment induced by cerebral multi-infarction, as evaluated by shortened escape latency and increased swimming time of rats with memory impairment in the target quadrant. The data additionally suggested that acupunctural treatment ameliorated oxidative injuries induced by cerebral multi-infarction by increasing the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) in the hippocampus. Further investigation by in situ hybridization and immunohistochemistry revealed that acupunctural treatment significantly increased the expression of CuZnSOD mRNA and protein in the hippocampus of the impaired rats. The findings demonstrate that acupuncture can exert beneficial effects on spatial memory and antioxidant status of cerebral multi-infarction rats. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

The solvothermal reaction of CuCl 2 ·2H 2 O, 5-(isonicotinamido)isophthalic acid (H 2 INAIP) results in the formation of a porous coordination polymer [Cu(INAIP)]·DMA·H 2 O ( 1 ) in N,N′-dimethylacetamide. X-ray single-crystal structure analysis reveals that it is a three-dimensional non-interpenetrated pillar–layer framework with a (3,6)-connected rutile ( rtl ) topology.
