Purpose: The toughest challenge in pedestrian traffic accident identification lies in ascertaining injury manners. This study aimed to systematically simulate and parameterize 3 types of craniocerebral injury including impact injury, fall injury, and run-over injury, to compare the injury response outcomes of different injury manners. Methods: Based on the total human model for safety (THUMS) and its enhanced human model THUMS-hollow structures, a total of 84 simulations with 3 injury manners, different loading directions, and loading velocities were conducted. Von Mises stress, intracranial pressure, maximum principal strain, cumulative strain damage measure, shear stress, and cranial strain were employed to analyze the injury response of all areas of the brain. To examine the association between injury conditions and injury consequences, correlation analysis, principal component analysis, linear regression, and stepwise linear regression were utilized. Results: There is a significant correlation observed between each criterion of skull and brain injury (p 40 km/h), the Von Mises stress on the skull was with a high possibility exceed the threshold for skull fracture (100 MPa). When falling and making temporal and occipital contact with the ground, the opposite side of the impacted area experiences higher frequency stress concentration than contact at other conditions. Run-over injuries tend to have a more comprehensive craniocerebral injury, with greater overall deformation due to more adequate kinetic energy conduction. The mean value of maximum principal strain of brain and Von Mises stress of cranium at run-over condition are 1.39 and 403.8 MPa, while they were 1.31, 94.11 MPa and 0.64, 120.5 MPa for the impact and fall conditions, respectively. The impact velocity also plays a significant role in craniocerebral injury in impact and fall loading conditions (the p of all F-test < 0.05). A regression equation of the craniocerebral injury manners in pedestrian accidents was established. Conclusion: The study distinguished the craniocerebral injuries caused in different manners, elucidated the biomechanical mechanisms of craniocerebral injury, and provided a biomechanical foundation for the identification of craniocerebral injury in legal contexts.

Abstract Background Global human activities were significantly impacted by the emergence of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic caused by the 2019 novel coronavirus. This study aimed to investigate the prevalence and genotype distribution of HPV infection in Central Fujian Province during the pandemic. Methods Cervical samples were collected from 21,612 outpatients and 12,664 females who underwent physical examinations and HPV screening at the People’s Hospital of Fujian Province in Fuzhou from April 2020 to April 2023. HPV detection and genotyping were conducted using PCR hybridization. Results The overall HPV infection rate was 16.1% during the COVID-19 pandemic, with the outpatient group exhibiting a greater infection rate (19.0%) than did the healthy group (12.3%). The top five high-risk HPV (HR-HPV) genotypes in both groups were HPV52, HPV53, HPV58, HPV16, and HPV51. Additionally, HPV81 and HPV43 were the two most common low-risk HPV (LR-HPV) genotypes in the patient group, while HPV81 and HPV42 were the two most common LR-HPV genotypes in the healthy group. The highest prevalence of HPV infection was observed in individuals aged ≤ 24 years (28.4%, 95% CI 25.9–30.9), followed by those aged ≥ 55 years (23.6%, 95% CI 21.6–24.7) and other age groups. The prevalence decreased from 23.0% (95% CI 22.4–23.7) in 2018–2019 to 13.8% (95% CI 12.0-15.5) in 2023. Conclusion This study provides valuable insights into the prevalence and genotypes of HPV infection in the female population of Central Fujian Province from 2020 to 2023. The findings indicate that the prevalence of HPV infection in Central Fujian Province remains relatively low compared to the national average. Furthermore, the prevalence of HPV decreased during the COVID-19 pandemic; however, as the pandemic waned, there was potential for an increase in HPV infection rates. Therefore, it is crucial to strengthen HPV screening and vaccination strategies to prevent the potential spread of HPV.

Much effort has been devoted to improving treatment efficiency for osteosarcoma (OS). However, most current approaches result in poor therapeutic responses, thus indicating the need for the development of other therapeutic options. This study developed a multifunctional nanoparticle, PDA-MOF-E-M, an aggregation of OS targeting, programmed death targeting, and near-infrared (NIR)-aided targeting. At the same time, a multifunctional nanoparticle that utilises Fe-MOFs to create a cellular iron-rich environment and erastin as a ferroptosis inducer while ensuring targeted delivery to OS cells through cell membrane encapsulation is presented. The combination of PDA-MOF-E-M and PTT increased intracellular ROS and LPO levels and induced ferroptosis-related protein expression. A PDA-based PTT combined with erastin showed significant synergistic therapeutic improvement in the anti-tumour efficiency of the nanoparticle in vitro and vivo. The multifunctional nanoparticle efficiently prevents the osteoclasia progression of OS xenograft bone tumors in vivo. Finally, this study provides guidance and a point of reference for clinical approaches to treating OS.

Abstract Background Vascular calcification (VC) is a complication in diabetes mellitus (DM) patients. Osteogenic phenotype switching of vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) plays a critical role in diabetes-related VC. Mitophagy can inhibit phenotype switching in VSMCs. This study aimed to investigate the role of the glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor (GLP-1R) agonist exendin 4 (EX4) in mitophagy-induced phenotype switching. Materials and methods The status of VC in T2DM mice was monitored using Von Kossa and Alizarin Red S (ARS) staining in mouse aortic tissue. Human aortic smooth muscle cells were cultured in high glucose (HG) and β-glycerophosphate (β-GP) conditioned medium. Accumulation of LC3B and p62 was detected in the mitochondrial fraction. The effect of EX4 in vitro and in vivo was investigated by knocking down AMPKα1. Results In diabetic VC mice, EX4 decreased the percentage of von Kossa/ARS positive area. EX4 inhibited osteogenic differentiation of HG/β-GP-induced VSMCs. In HG/β-GP-induced VSMCs, the number of mitophagosomes was increased, whereas the addition of EX4 restored mitochondrial function, increased the number of mitophagosome-lysosome fusions, and reduced p62 in mitochondrial frictions. EX4 increased the phosphorylation of AMPKα (Thr172) and ULK1 (Ser555) in HG/β-GP-induced VSMCs. After knockdown of AMPKα1, ULK1 could not be activated by EX4. The accumulation of LC3B and p62 could not be reduced after AMPKα1 knockdown. Knockdown of AMPKα1 negated the therapeutic effects of EX4 on VC of diabetic mice. Conclusion EX4 could promote mitophagy by activating the AMPK signaling pathway, attenuate insufficient mitophagy, and thus inhibit the osteogenic phenotype switching of VSMCs.

Abstract The demand for identification of maize varieties has increased dramatically due to the phenomenon of mixed seeds and inferior varieties pretending to be high‐quality varieties continuing to occur. It is urgent to solve the problem of efficient and accurate identification of maize varieties. A hyperspectral image acquisition system was used to acquire images of maize seeds. Regions of interest (ROI) with an embryo size of 10 × 10 pixel were extracted, and the average spectral information in the range of 949.43–1709.49 nm was intercepted for the subsequent study in order to eliminate random noise at both ends. Savitzky–Golay (SG) smoothing algorithm and multiple scattering correction (MSC) were used to pretreat the full‐band spectrum. The feature wavelengths were screened by successive projection algorithms (SPA), competitive adaptive reweighted sampling (CARS) single screening, and two combinations of CARS‐SPA and CARS + SPA, respectively. Support vector machines (SVMs) and models optimized based on genetic algorithm (GA), particle swarm optimization (PSO) were established by using full bands (FB) and feature bands as the model input. The results showed that the MSC‐(CARS‐SPA)‐GA‐SVM model had the best performance with 93.00% of the test set accuracy, 8 feature variables, and a running time of 24.45 s. MSC pretreatment can effectively eliminate the scattering effect of spectral data, and the feature wavelengths extracted by CARS‐SPA can represent all wavelength information. The study proved that hyperspectral imaging combined with GA‐SVM can realize the identification of maize varieties, which provided a theoretical basis for maize variety classification and authenticity identification.

Abstract Lysophosphoglycerides (LPLs) have been reported to accumulate in myocardium and serve as a cause of arrhythmias in acute myocardial ischemia. However, in this study we found that LPLs level in the ventricular myocardium was decreased by the onset of acute myocardial ischemia in vivo in rats. Decreasing of LPLs level in left ventricular myocardium, but not right, was observed within 26 min of left myocardial ischemia, regardless of whether arrhythmias were triggered. Abstract Background The yak (Bos grunniens) is a large ruminant species that lives in high-altitude regions and exhibits excellent adaptation to the plateau environments. To further understand the genetic characteristics and adaptive mechanisms of yak, we have developed a multi-omics database of yak including genome, transcriptome, proteome, and DNA methylation data. Description The Yak Genome Database ( http://yakgenomics.com/ ) integrates the research results of genome, transcriptome, proteome, and DNA methylation, and provides an integrated platform for researchers to share and exchange omics data. The database contains 26,518 genes, 62 transcriptomes, 144,309 proteome spectra, and 22,478 methylation sites of yak. The genome module provides access to yak genome sequences, gene annotations and variant information. The transcriptome module offers transcriptome data from various tissues of yak and cattle strains at different developmental stages. The proteome module presents protein profiles from diverse yak organs. Additionally, the DNA methylation module shows the DNA methylation information at each base of the whole genome. Functions of data downloading and browsing, functional gene exploration, and experimental practice were available for the database. Conclusion This comprehensive database provides a valuable resource for further investigations on development, molecular mechanisms underlying high-altitude adaptation, and molecular breeding of yak.

The current study is based on the mechanism of mixed convection and solar thermal radiation in Walters'-B fluid considering tera-hybrid nano-structures using convective boundary constraints (CBC) and (CHF) constant heat flux. The heat transmission phenomenon of the current study is taken into account under the influence of triple-suspended nanoparticles. The current problem has several potential applications, including improvements in solar thermal energy systems, nanofluids, aerospace, cooling processes, automotive engineering, and numerical modeling methods. A numerical approach, namely Crank-Nicolson, is utilized in the modeling of 3D Walter's B fluid past over a 3D circular cylinder whose radius varies sinusoidally for evaluation of velocity and temperature distributions. For mathematical modeling, the Cartesian coordinate system was used for the current study. Comparative analysis between constant heat flux (CHF) and convective boundary constraints (CBC) was demonstrated graphically against multifarious parameters towards the temperature profile and velocity profiles along the x-axis and in the y-axis. Moreover, comparative analysis for dissimilar parameters was manifested for Nusselt number through tables, and graphically for skin friction co-efficient and Nusselt number and has shown excellent accuracy. It was estimated that by enhancing values of Qsr, C, Hs and Ec, it was addressed that temperature curve increases for CHF and CBC cases.

BackgroundThis study aims to explore the clinical value of low disease activity state (LDAS) in the treat-to-target strategy of pediatric systemic lupus erythematosus (pSLE) and find the risk factors for never reaching LDAS.MethodsA total of 272 children with SLE who were diagnosed and followed up in two tertiary hospitals in China during the period from January 2012 to December 2019 were involved in this study, and the clinical presentation, pathology, and treatment were retrospectively studied.ResultsThe male-to-female ratio was 1:5.2, the age at diagnosis was 11.1 years (IQR, 9.8–13.1 years), the disease duration was 1.0 month (IQR, 0.5–2.0 months), and follow-up was 36.5 months (IQR, 25.7–50.9 months). During follow-up, 230 children achieved LDAS, and 42 were never been in. Male (P = 0.018), mucosal ulcer (P = 0.048), liver function damage (P = 0.026), cardiac effusion (P = 0.034), anemia (P = 0.048), urine red blood cells (P = 0.017), urinary leukocytes (P = 0.032), and endothelial cell proliferation in renal biopsy (P = 0.004)—these indexes have statistical differences between the two groups in the baseline. At baseline, endothelial cell proliferation (P = 0.02) is an independent risk factor for never achieving LDAS by multivariate logistic analysis. During follow-up, non-compliance was a risk factor for never achieving LDAS by comparing between groups. Children with biologics achieved LDAS at a higher rate than children without biologics (P = 0.038). The proportion of organ damage in patients never been in LDAS was significantly higher than that in patients who achieved LDAS (P < 0.001).ConclusionEndothelial cell proliferation in renal biopsy and non-compliance during follow-up were independent risk factors for never achieving LDAS. At the end of the follow-up, the organ damage in the remission group was similar to that in the LDAS group, indicating that LDAS can be used as a target for pSLE treatment.

Crops were the main source of human food, which have met the increasingly diversified demand of consumers. Sensors were used to monitor crop phenotypes and environmental information in real time, which will provide a theoretical reference for optimizing crop growth environment, resisting biotic and abiotic stresses, and improve crop yield. Compared with non-contact monitoring methods such as optical imaging and remote sensing, wearable sensing technology had higher time and spatial resolution. However, the existing crop sensors were mainly rigid mechanical structures, which were easy to cause damage to crop organs, and there were still challenges in terms of accuracy and biosafety. Emerging flexible sensors had attracted wide attention in the field of crop phenotype monitoring due to their excellent mechanical properties and biocompatibility. The article introduced the key technologies involved in the preparation of flexible wearable sensors from the aspects of flexible preparation materials and advanced preparation processes. The monitoring function of flexible sensors in crop growth was highlighted, including the monitoring of crop nutrient, physiological, ecological and growth environment information. The monitoring principle, performance together with pros and cons of each sensor were analyzed. Furthermore, the future opportunities and challenges of flexible wearable devices in crop monitoring were discussed in detail from the aspects of new sensing theory, sensing materials, sensing structures, wireless power supply technology and agricultural sensor network, which will provide reference for smart agricultural management system based on crop flexible sensors, and realize efficient management of agricultural production and resources.

Introduction: Electric bicycles (e-bikes) and bicycles in large Chinese cities have recently witnessed substantial growth in ridership. According to related accident trends, this study analyzed characteristics and spatial distribution in the period when e-bike-related accidents rapidly increased to propose priority measures to reduce accident casualties. Methods: For e-bike- and bicycle-related accident data from the Guangzhou Public Security Traffic Management Integrated System, linear regression was used to examine the trends in the number of accidents and age-adjusted road traffic casualties from 2011 to 2021. Then, for the period when e-bike-related accidents rapidly increased, descriptive statistics were computed regarding rider characteristics, illegal behaviors, road types, collision objects and their accident liability. Abstract Background While mother-to-child transmission (MTCT) of hepatitis B virus (HBV) remains a significant challenge in China, research investigating the effectiveness of the September 2017 pilot program to eliminate MTCT of HIV, syphilis, and HBV is limited. Baoan district, which has a higher-than-average rate of hepatitis B infection among pregnant women and strong support from the government, was one of six national pilot districts selected for the program. Therefore, this study aims to assess the progress and implementation of the elimination of MTCT of HBV in Baoan district over a period of 5 years. Methods Data was collected from the national information system for the prevention of MTCT, registration forms, and follow-up forms of pregnant women and their live births from 2018 to 2022. Joinpoint models were used to analyze changing trends over time, calculating annual percentage change (APC) and the corresponding 95% confidence interval (95%CI). Multivariate logistic regression models were used to analyze risk factors for HBV MTCT. Results From 2018 to 2022, the coverage of HBV screening during pregnancy increased from 98.29 to 99.55% (APC = 0.30, P = 0.012). The coverage of HBV early screening within 13 gestational weeks increased from 40.76 to 86.42% (APC = 18.88, P = 0.033). The prevalence of maternal HBV infection declined by an APC of − 3.50 (95% CI -6.28 ~ − 0.63). The coverage of antiviral therapy among high-risk pregnant women increased from 63.59 to 90.04% (APC = 11.90, P = 0.031). Coverage for timely administration of hepatitis B immunoglobulin, hepatitis B birth dose vaccine, and three-dose hepatitis B vaccination remained consistently above 97.50%. The coverage of post-vaccination serological testing (PVST) in high-risk infants was 56.15% (1352/2408), and the MTCT rate of HBV was 0.18%. Mothers with high-school education or below (OR = 3.76, 95% CI 1.04 ~ 13.60, P = 0.04) and hepatitis B e antigen (HBeAg) positivity (OR = 18.89, 95% CI 1.98 ~ 18.50, P = 0.01) had increased MTCT risk. Conclusions The implementation of comprehensive prevention strategies in Baoan district, including screening, treatment, and immunoprophylaxis, has proven effective in maintaining the MTCT of HBV at an extremely low level. However, it remains crucial to raise public awareness, specifically on the importance of improving the coverage of PVST for infants exposed to HBV.

Abstract In dynamic environments, robots require instantaneous detection of moving events with microseconds of latency. This task, known as moving event detection, is typically achieved using event cameras. While light detection and ranging (LiDAR) sensors are essential for robots due to their dense and accurate depth measurements, their use in event detection has not been thoroughly explored. Current approaches involve accumulating LiDAR points into frames and detecting object-level motions, resulting in a latency of tens to hundreds of milliseconds. We present a different approach called M-detector, which determines if a point is moving immediately after its arrival, resulting in a point-by-point detection with a latency of just several microseconds. M-detector is designed based on occlusion principles and can be used in different environments with various types of LiDAR sensors. Our experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of M-detector on various datasets and applications, showcasing its superior accuracy, computational efficiency, detection latency, and generalization ability.

IntroductionNorovirus (NoV) is one of the most important agents responsible for viral acute gastroenteritis, among which GII.4 NoV is the predominant strain worldwide, and GII.17 NoV surpassed GII.4 in some epidemic seasons. Rapid and accurate gene recognition is essential for a timely response to NoV outbreaks.MethodsIn the present study, the highly conserved regions of GII.4 and GII.17 NoVs were identified in the junction of open reading frame (ORF) 1 and ORF2 and then amplified by isothermal recombinase-aided amplification (RAA), followed by the cleavage of CRISPR-Cas13a with screened CRISPR RNAs (crRNAs) and RAA primers. The entire detection procedure could be completed within 40 min using a thermostat, and the results could be read out by the naked eye under a portable blue light transilluminator.DiscussionThe assay showed a high sensitivity of 97.96% and a high specificity of 100.0%. It offered a low limit of detection (LOD) of 2.5×100 copies/reaction and a coincidence rate of 96.75% in 71 clinical fecal samples. Overall, rapid and inexpensive detection of GII.4/GII.17 NoVs was established, which makes it possible to be used in areas with limited resources, particularly in low-income countries. Furthermore, it will contribute to assessing transmission risks and implementing control measures for GII.4/GII.17 NoVs, making healthcare more accessible worldwide.

Plant height is a key plant architectural trait that affects the seed yield, harvest index and lodging resistance in Brassica napus L., although the genetic mechanisms affecting plant height remain unclear. Here, a semi-dwarf mutant, df34, was obtained by ethyl methanesulphonate-induced mutagenesis. Genetic analysis showed that the semi-dwarf phenotype is controlled by one semi-dominant gene, which was located on chromosome C03 using a bulked segregant analysis coupled with whole-genome sequencing, and this gene was named BnaSD.C3. Then BnaSD.C3 was fine-mapped to a 297.35-kb segment of the “Darmor-bzh” genome, but there was no potential candidate gene for the semi-dwarf trait underlying this interval. Furthermore, the interval was aligned to the Zhongshuang 11 reference genome. Finally, combining structural variation analysis, transcriptome sequencing, phytohormone analyses and gene annotation information, BnaC03G0466900ZS and BnaC03G0478900ZS were determined to be the most likely candidate genes affecting the plant height of df34. This study provides a novel major locus for breeding and new insights into the genetic architecture of plant height in B. napus.

Abstract This study differentiates myocardial infarction (MI) and strangulation death (STR) from the perspective of amino acid metabolism. In this study, MI mice model via subcutaneous injection of isoproterenol and STR mice model by neck strangulation were constructed, and were randomly divided into control (CON), STR, mild MI (MMI), and severe MI (SMI) groups. The metabolomics profiles were obtained by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC–MS)-based untargeted metabolomics. Principal component analysis, partial least squares-discriminant analysis, volcano plots, and heatmap were used for discrepancy metabolomics analysis. Pathway enrichment analysis was performed and the expression of proteins related to metabolomics was detected using immunohistochemical and western blot methods. Differential metabolites and metabolite pathways were screened. Abstract Background So far, there have been more than 761 million confirmed cases of SARS-CoV-2 worldwide, with more than 6.8 million deaths. The most common direct causes of death for COVID-19 are diffuse alveolar injury and acute respiratory distress syndrome. Autopsy results have shown that 80-100% of COVID-19 patients have microthrombi which is 9 times higher than in patients with influenza. There are reported cases of fat embolism associated with Covid-19, but relevant epidemiological investigations and fatal cases of pulmonary fat embolism are lacking. In this report, we describe the first COVID-19 patient to die from pulmonary fat embolism. Case presentation A 54-year-old woman suddenly felt unwell while at work. She had difficulty breathing for 40 min and lost consciousness for 20 min before being taken to the hospital. On admission, her temperature was 36 ℃, but her respiration, heart rate, and blood pressure were undetectable. Laboratory examination revealed C-reactive protein, 26.55 mg/L; D-dimer, 11,400 µg/L; and procalcitonin, 0.21 ng/mL. She was declared clinically dead 2 h after admission due to ineffective rescue efforts. At autopsy, both lungs were highly oedematous with partial alveolar haemorrhage. The presence of microthrombi and pulmonary fat embolism in small interstitial pulmonary vessels was confirmed by phosphotungstic acid haematoxylin staining and oil red O staining. The immunohistochemical results of spike protein and nucleocapsid protein in laryngeal epithelial cells confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infection. Conclusions Pulmonary fat embolism may be another fatal complication of COVID-19 infection, and clinicians should pay more attention to it.

Abstract Intestinal ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury is a severe clinical condition without optimal diagnostic markers nor clear molecular etiological insights. Plasma exosomal circular RNAs (circRNAs) are valuable biomarkers and therapeutic targets for various diseases, but their role in intestinal I/R injury remains unknown. Here we screen the expression profile of circRNAs in intestinal tissue exosomes collected from intestinal I/R mice and identify circEZH2_005 as a significantly downregulated exosomal circRNA. In parallel, circEZH2_005 is also reduced in the plasma of clinical cardiac surgery patients who developed postoperative intestinal I/R injury. Exosomal circEZH2_005 displays a significant diagnostic value for intestinal injury induced by I/R. Mechanistically, circEZH2_005 is highly expressed in intestinal crypt cells. CircEZH2_005 upregulation promotes the proliferation of Lgr5+ stem cells by direct interaction with hnRNPA1, and enhanced Gprc5a stability, thereby alleviating I/R-induced intestinal mucosal damage. Hence, exosomal circEZH2_005 may serve as a biomarker for intestinal I/R injury and targeting the circEZH2_005/hnRNPA1/Gprc5a axis may be a potential therapeutic strategy for intestinal I/R injury.

Objective The thickened coracohumeral ligament (CHL) is an important part of the typical manifestations and magnetic resonance imaging of frozen shoulder. However, only a few clinical studies with limited cases on arthroscopic extra‐articular entire CHL release exist in the literature. This study was to evaluate the effect of arthroscopic extra‐articular entire CHL release for patients with recalcitrant frozen shoulder. Methods From February 2014 to February 2020, 81 cases of recalcitrant frozen shoulder patients treated with surgery in a single‐center shoulder department and followed for more than 2 years were analyzed. Arthroscopic 360° capsular release was performed with intra‐articular partial release (IPR group) or additional extra‐articular entire release (IPR + EER group) of CHL. The same rehabilitation program was performed after surgery in both groups. Visual analogue scale (VAS) for pain, range of motion (ROM), and the Constant–Murley scoring system was evaluated before operation, at 3 months after operation, 6 months after operation, and the final follow‐up. T‐test, Mann–Whitney U‐test and chi‐squared test were used to compared data. Results There were 39 patients in the IPR group, with an average follow‐up of 29.2 months. A total of Forty‐two patients in the IPR + EER group completed a mean follow‐up of 25.7 months. All incisions healed in stages. The precise neutralizing serological features of genotype I (GI) NoV have not been studied.MethodsTo expand insights on vaccine design and herd immunity of NoVs, seroprevalence and seroincidence of NoV genotypes GI.2, GI.3, and GI.9 were determined using blockade antibodies based on a 5-year longitudinal serosurveillance among 449 residents in Jidong community.ResultsCorrelation between human histo-blood group antigens (HBGAs) and GI NoV, and dynamic and persistency of antibodies were also analyzed. Seroprevalence of GI.2, GI.3, and GI.9 NoV were 15.1%–18.0%, 35.0%–38.8%, and 17.6%–22.0%; seroincidences were 10.0, 21.0, and 11.0 per 100.0 person-year from 2014 to 2018, respectively. Blockade antibodies positive to GI.2 and GI.3 NoV were significantly associated with HBGA phenotypes, including blood types A, B (excluding GI.3), and O+; Lewis phenotypes Leb+/Ley+ and Lea+b+/Lex+y+; and secretors. The overall decay rate of anti-GI.2 antibody was -5.9%/year (95% CI: -7.1% to -4.8%/year), which was significantly faster than that of GI.3 [-3.6%/year (95% CI: -4.6% to -2.6%/year)] and GI.9 strains [-4.0%/year (95% CI: -4.7% to -3.3%/year)]. The duration of anti-GI.2, GI.3, and GI.9 NoV antibodies estimated by generalized linear model (GLM) was approximately 2.3, 4.2, and 4.8 years, respectively.DiscussionIn conclusion, enhanced community surveillance of GI NoV is needed, and even one-shot vaccine may provide coast-efficient health benefits against GI NoV infection.
