In this paper, we consider a certain fixed point theorem that contains some rational expressions. The main aim of this paper is to prove a fixed point theorem without using the Picard iteration.

In this manuscript, we introduce a new hybrid contraction that unify several nonlinear and linear contractions in the set-up of a complete metric space. We present an example to indicate the genuine of the proved result. In addition, we consider Ulam type stability and well-posedness for this new hybrid contraction.

In this paper, we introduce the notion of α-ψ-contractive mapping of type E, to remedy of the weakness of the existing contraction mappings. We investigate the existence and uniqueness of a fixed point of such mappings. We also list some examples to illustrate our results that unify and generalize the several well-known results including the famous Banach contraction mapping principle.

The aim of this paper is manifold. This study investigates the weak convergence of the sequences generated by the inertial relaxed [Math Processing Error] C Q algorithm with Mann's iteration for solving the split feasibility problem in real Hilbert spaces. Moreover, we present the advantage of our algorithm by choosing a wider range of parameters than the recent methods. Finally, we apply our algorithm to solve the classification problem using the heart disease dataset collected from the UCI machine learning repository as a training set. The result shows that our algorithm performs better than many machine learning methods and also extreme learning machine with fast iterative shrinkage-thresholding algorithm (FISTA) and inertial relaxed [Math Processing Error] C Q algorithm (IRCQA) under consideration according to accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. In this manuscript, we introduce two new types of contraction, namely, w-contraction and strong Sehgal w-contraction, in the framework of modular metric spaces. We indicate that under certain assumptions, such mappings possess a unique fixed point. For the sake of completeness, we consider examples and an application to matrix equations.
