Objective: Evaluation of the healing and toxicological effects of Copaifera duckei Dwyer oleoresin (CDO). Materials and Methods: Rodents with skin lesions were divided into nine groups, including daily treatments with 1, 3 and 10% CDO, collagenase, antibiotic ointment and control groups, for 14 days. Results: Treatment with 10% CDO reduced skin edema and hyperplasia, demonstrating anti-inflammatory effect of the oil. Reduction in the wound area was observed, indicating the healing effect of CDO. Histopathological analysis showed increases in angiogenesis and re-epithelialization in animals treated with the highest concentration. On the other hand, no alterations in ulcerations, inflammatory infiltrate, hemorrhage, congestion, degeneration, percentage of collagen fibers, number of cells stained with anti-macrophage migration inhibitory factor, or density of area stained with anti-collagen I and III were found. Toxicogenetic analysis revealed no differences in micronucleus frequencies or in the ratio of polychromatic erythrocytes to total erythrocytes between treated and negative control, demonstrating the absence of genotoxicity and cytotoxicity, respectively. There was no difference in levels of liver enzymes among groups, indicating the absence of hepatotoxicity. Conclusion: Formulations of CDO exerted beneficial effects on the stages of cutaneous wound healing and are promising options for the treatment of wounds.

A gama de oportunidades oferecidas é considerável, representado pela maioria das bacias petrolíferas brasileiras. Desde 1999 cinco rodadas de licitações para óleo e gás foram realizadas no Brasil, com 88 blocos sendo arrematados nas quatro primeiras rodadas e 91 na quinta, quando as regras do leilão foram alteradas e o bônus de assinatura deixou de ser o fator mais importante na aquisição de áreas exploratórias. Nas cinco rodadas de licitações foram arrecadados cerca de US$ 720 milhões em bônus de assinatura, com mais de 43 empresas envolvidas em todo processo. A Petrobras, atuando sozinha ou em conjunto com outra(s) empresa(s), é operadora em 31 blocos (arrematados nas quatro primeiras rodadas, representando 36% do total) e adquiriu mais 85 blocos no leilão realizado em 2003, investindo cerca de US$ 230 milhões para aquisição de áreas exploratórias desde o fim do monopólio. O primeiro objetivo deste trabalho é analisar as principais características e estatísticas dos leilões oferecidos pela Agência Nacional do Petróleo. Considerando que o valor do bônus é uma fração do valor de mercado da reserva esperada, outro objetivo do trabalho é desenvolver uma metodologia de valoração das regiões exploratórias por intermédio dos bônus de assinatura oferecidos aos blocos arrematados. Os blocos foram agrupados conforme suas principais características geológicas e os bônus foram computados conforme os grupos formados. A estimativa do valor de cada região é calculada através da simulação estocástica da fração associada a cada bloco usando distribuições de probabilidade. Os resultados podem ser utilizados como referências de novos investimentos pelas empresas, bem como um método de avaliação do desempenho dos leilões pela agência reguladora Abstract: The concession process for oil and gas exploration through competitive bidding marks a significant step in the opening of Brazil¿s petroleum sector. The range of opportunities on offer is considerable with most of the petroleum basins being represented. So far, since 1999, five bid rounds for oil and gas have taken place in Brazil where 88 blocks have been bided in four rounds, and 91 blocks on the fifth round, when the auction changed and the bonus value was not the most important parameter to be a winner in the lease. Approximately US$ 720 million have been collected, involving more than 43 oil companies. Petrobras, alone or in joint ventures, is the operator of 31 blocks (leased on the four first rounds which represents about 36% of total) and acquired more 85 blocks in the bidding process of 2003, responsible for the amount of approximately US$ 230 million in the five rounds. This thesis attempts to delineate the main features and statistics of those bids, and considering that the bid value is a fraction of the estimated value by operators, another objective of this thesis is to reach a set of proxies of unknown values of the blocks through the successful bids. The blocks are divided considering their geological characteristics and the winners¿ value is estimated for each group. The estimated value of the blocks is calculated through stochastic simulation of these bid fractions using a compound probability distribution. Objetivo: Frente ao quadro pandêmico vivido em 2020 no mundo, este trabalho de revisão tem por objetivo, formar e informar através da literatura o panorama geral do quadro de COVID-19 Métodos: Para tal, foram selecionados aspectos de caracterização, etiologia, patogenia, quadro clínico, laboratorial, de imagem e principais medidas tomadas para realização do combate a infecção do COVID019. Revisão Bibliográfica: Sabendo que o vírus SARS-CoV-2 causador do quadro patológico, a revisão focou nos aspectos da gestante, passando pelo nascituro, crianças, adultos e idosos com apanhado geral das informações pertinentes a cada faixa etária. A descrição de quadros clínicos e a mimetização com demais quadros apresentados por afecções de vias respiratórias superiores e inferiores e demais doenças sazoanais, junto com seu diagnostico laboratorial com alterações e anormalidades, exames de imagens e tomadas de decisões a partir dos resultados. Apresentado ainda, processo de tratamento, vacinas e investigações cientificas. Para finalizar os dados encontrados, ações de promoção de saúde capazes de melhorar a qualidade de vida de toda população. Conclusão: O trabalho demonstrou extrema importância devido a sua abordagem ampla da pandemia por coronavírus e como identificá-la, trazendo uma forma simples e descomplicada, levando conhecimento cientifico a população e informações verídicas e de qualidade.
