To study the problem of exponential stability control for a class of networked control systems with interval distribution time delays, a new approach is given to model the networked control systems with the stochastic time delays which is assumed to be satisfying a interval Bernoulli distribution. Based on linear matrix inequality approach, the mean-square exponential stability controller design method is presented, and the controller gain matrix is obtain by solving a linear matrix inequality. Moreover, a Lyapunov functional is used, and some stack matrices, which bring much flexibility in solving LMI, are introduced during the proof. A numerical example is given to demonstrate the validity of the results.

This paper considers the problem of exponential stability control for nonlinear uncertain networked control systems. Based on the T-S method, a model of nonlinear networked control systems is obtained. Corresponding to the probability of the delays taking value in different interval, a stochastic variable satisfying Bernoulli distribution is introduced and a new fuzzy networked control systems is built by employing the information of the probability distribution. With the Lyapunov stability theorem, the mean-square exponential stability conditions and the state feedback fuzzy controller design methods are given in terms of LMI. Finally, a numerical example is given to demonstrate the validity of the results.

The problem of variable structure guaranteed cost control for discrete uncertain networked systems with time delay has been considered in this paper. Based on the Lyapunov stability theorem, by introducing a discrete compensator, a novel sliding mode manifold that can compensate time delay has been designed. Then, by using linear matrix inequalities approach, a guaranteed cost controller is designed to make the sliding mode manifold stable. Finally, a numerical example is given to demonstrate the application and effectiveness of the proposed method.

The problem of exponential stability non-fragile control for uncertain systems with time-varying delay is considered in this paper. Based on the Lyapunov stability theorem, and by using linear matrix inequality approach, a new approach is obtained to design the state feedback exponential stability non-fragile controller. By introducing a new Lyapunov functional, a sufficient exponential stability condition is given in terms of linear matrix inequality. With the non-fragile controller and the linear matrix inequality Control Toolbox in MATLAB, the simulation results are easier obtained.

This paper studies the tracking performance of the single-input single-output (SISO), finite dimensional, linear and time-invariant (LTI) system over an additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channel with finite control energy and channel input energy constraint. A new performance index is proposed which is minimized over all stabilizing two-degree-of-freedom controllers. The explicit expressions of the lower bound of the tracking performance and the minimum of signal-to-noise required are obtained. The results show that the lower bound is correlated to the unstable pole, non-minimum phase zero and the channel scaling factor. Finally, one example is given to validate the conclusions by adopting the special inner-outer factorization.

Based on switching strategy to eliminate the phenomenon of uncontrollability, global asymptotic regulation in probability of the closed-loop system states are guaranteed. Finally, a simulation example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

A parameter separation technique is introduced to transform the nonlinear parameterized system into a linear-like parameterized system. Then, using the parameter separation, input-state-scaling technique and integrator backstepping procedure, an adaptive state feedback controller is obtained. The adaptive control based switching strategy is proposed to eliminate the phenomenon of uncontrollability. Global exponential regulation of the closed-loop system and the boundedness of other signals are guaranteed. The proposed scheme can be applied to the adaptive control of mobile robot with small angle measurement error. Simulation results demonstrate the validity of the presented algorithm.

Based on switching strategy to overcome the uncontrollability problem associated with x0(0) = 0, the uncertain closed-loop system is regulated to zero in a finite time. An illustrative example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed controller.

This paper investigates the finite-time control problem for networked control systems (NCSs) with time-varying delays. The finite-time controller via state feedback is proposed to guarantee the finitetime boundedness and finite-time stabilization of the resulting closed loop system for all admissible disturbances and unknown time-delays. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, sufficient conditions that ensure finite-time performance of networked control systems are derived. The control criterion is formulated in the form of linear matrix inequalities and the designed finite-time stabilization controller is described as a feasibility one. The presented results are extended to networked control systems. with time-varying delay. Numerical example illustrates the feasibility of the developed approaches.

By using backstepping recursive technique and the homogeneous domination approach, a constructive design procedure for output feedback control is given. Together with a novel switching control strategy, the designed controller renders that the states of closed-loop system are regulated to zero in a finite time. A simulation example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

A new sufficient condition is given to design the exponentially stable sliding mode surface. Based on the Lyapunov theory, a design strategy is then derived for the hitting controller. And all the conditions are expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Finally, a numerical example is given to demonstrate the validity of the results.
