Cancer susceptibility 19 (CASC19), a crucial lncRNA associated with multiple cancers, has been reported to play a vital role in the progression of human malignant tumors. However, the underlying mechanism of CASC19 in pancreatic cancer (PC) was still unknown. The purpose of this study was to explore the biological and clinical significance of CASC19 in PC.RT-qPCR assay was adopted to analyze CASC19 expression in PC tissues and cell lines. Furthermore, the correlation between the CASC19 level and the survival rate of PC patients was assessed by Kaplan-Meier analysis. Bioinformatics analysis and Luciferase reporter assay were utilized to confirm the interaction between miR-148b and CASC19 or E2F7. Cell viability, migration, invasion, and apoptosis were analyzed using MTT, transwell, and TUNEL assays.The results elucidated that CASC19 expression was markedly increased in PC tissues and cell lines. Patients with high expression of CASC19 had a short survival time. Silencing of CASC19 attenuated PC cell proliferation, migration, and invasion. Moreover, we identified that miR-148b was a target of CASC19. CASC19 was negatively correlated with miR-148b and positively correlated with E2F7. The inhibitory effect of CASC19 knockdown on the progression of PC was reversed by the down-regulation of miR-148b or up-regulation of E2F7.These results demonstrated that CASC19 participated in the development of PC. The CASC19/miR-148b/E2F7 axis might be a new study direction for PC treatment.

Diabetic nephropathy (DN) is one of the most representative diabetic microangiopathy complications. So far, there have been no satisfactory therapeutic strategies, and the injection of stem cells provides a target for DN therapy.Urine-derived stem cells (USCs) were obtained from 9 healthy men. 24 mice were randomly and equally divided into control group, DN model group, DN+hUSC group (treated with USCs for 3 times). Hematoxylin-eosin (HE) and Masson staining were used to detect histological changes of kidney injury. Creatinine and blood urea nitrogen (BUN) were measured to assess renal function. Besides, myofibroblast accumulation, macrophage infiltration, cell proliferation, and oxidative stress were detected by immunohistochemical analysis.Compared with DN model group, DN+hUSC group showed lower function loss, cell infiltration, and oxidative stress, as well as less renal fibrosis, histological damage, and cell proliferation.USC can alleviate inflammation and oxidative stress, reduce renal interstitial fibrosis, improve renal tissue structure and protect renal function through paracrine effect.

lncRNA MEG3 has been reported as a tumor suppressor gene in many different kinds of cancer, but its role in gastric cancer has not been fully understood. Then, we would like to explore its mechanism in gastric cancer.We first used qRT-PCR to detect the expression of lncRNA MEG3, then CCK8 and wound healing assay were used to detect the effect of lncRNA MEG3 on gastric cancer cells. Western blot assay was used to measure the expression of p53 when lncRNA MEG3 was overexpressed.lncRNA MEG3 was highly expressed in the adjacent tissue, compared to the one in gastric cancer tissue. What's more, we also found that overexpression of lncRNA MEG3 could decrease the proliferation and metastasis of gastric cancer cells. Finally, overexpression of lncRNA MEG3 could also increase the expression of p53.lncRNA MEG3 could inhibit the proliferation and metastasis of gastric cancer.

Hudson Oilfield, which located in the northern Uplift of Tarim Basin, is considered to be the largest whole-shaped oilfield in China, and the extensive Carboniferous ‘Donghe sandstones’, one of the most important marine sandstones units for oil and gas exploration in Tabei Uplift, constitutes the main reservoir. However, not all this sandstones are with good physical properties, and hence, the sedimentary characteristics and depositional evolution is believed to be critical to prediction of reservoir. It is determined that wave-dominated clastic littoral deposits with no barrier are the main depositional environment based on the modern sedimentary theory and related data analysis including ancient landform characteristics. And transitional zone, shoreface, foreshore, backshore and dune are considered as the five subenvironments. Through data of high resolution dipmeter logging and imaging logging, different sedimentary structures and other facies marks observed from cores of research regions are demarcated, and thirteen microfacies are further identified. Based on the detailed microfacies types, the evolution process of Carboniferous ‘Donghe sandstones’ can be divided to four main periods, in which, early highstand systems tract (HST) deposits in Period 1-2, and late HST deposits in Period 3-4.

The substrate is usually kept at a distant location in traditional thermal spraying, and substrate melting, which can improve splat adhesion usually does not happen. By moving the substrate close to the plasma flame and attaching a temperature control device to the backside of the substrate, as well as by additional heating from the molten droplets, substrate melting may occur and directional splat solidification becomes possible. In this proposed design, the substrate temperature is controlled by spray distance, flame temperature and initial substrate temperature. The variations of particle in-flight characteristics and contact interface temperature on spray distance are investigated. Optimal operating conditions are determined.

To evaluate the treatment efficacy of the newly designed system with alternate cooling and heating tumor therapy, experiments were performed using the VX2 breast carcinoma model in female New Zealand rabbits. The treatment effect was verified by post CT imaging. Preliminary results showed that no metastasis and recurrence appeared in the following three months. The induced immunological response was considered of potential importance in the alternate cooling and heating treatment.

Penicillin and chloromycetin were regarded as the sign of resistance to antibodies of R. leguminosorum USDA2370 and S. xinjiangnesis CCBAU110 respectively. Using the protoplast fusion technique, USDA2370 and CCBAU110 were successfully fused. Fusion hybrid can inoculate in the leguminous of parental strains respectively. There were apparent differences between parents and fusion hybrid in cell morphology, colony and pattern of whole-cell protein. The values of DNA homology between fusion hybrid and USDA2370 and CCBAU110 were 56.6% and 10.2% respectively.

Based on the previous studies on numerical taxonomy and SDS-PAGE of whole-cell protein, the rhizobia strains isolated from Indigofera sp. in loess plateau area of North-west China constituted a new cluster, the 16S rDNA sequence of representative strain SHL042 was tested, and the phylogenetic tree was produced. In this tree, the strain SHL042, R. tropici A, R. tropici B, R. leguminosarum, R. etli, R. hananesis, R. mongolense and R. gallicum constituted a branch of phylogenetic. Within this branch, the similarity values of 16S rDNA sequences were 95.4%, 95.5%, 96.3%, 95.8%, 96.3%, 97.9% and 97.7% respectively. The values were more than 95%. This indicated that these species should belong to the same genus. The values of DNA homology in the new cluster were all more than 80%, but the values between SHL042 and the strains of these species were less than 50%. Thus, the strain SH714 represented a new rhizobia species.

In this letter, an rf‐excited, anodized aluminum structure waveguide CO2 laser is presented, which has the advantages of low cost, better cooling, and ease of manufacture. With this structure, we have obtained 12 W EH11 waveguide mode output power from only a 300 mm gain length.

This paper presents a method to carry out high intensity radiated field (HIRF) effect experiments by using injection as an equivalent substitute for electromagnetic radiation. In allusion to typical interconnected system, the equal response voltage on the equipment cable port is regarded as an equivalent basis of injection and radiation methods. The equivalent relation formula between injected voltage and radiated field is derived theoretically. The conditions needed for extrapolating injected voltage in HIRF are confirmed, and the extrapolation method is proposed. On the basis of the above research, the electromagnetic environment effect test new method combined injection with radiation for interconnected system is summarized. The typical nonlinear interconnected system is selected as equipment under test, and the single frequency continuous wave radiation and injection effect experiments are carried out separately. The test results indicate that the relation between radiated field and injected voltage is linear, and the equivalent injected voltage used to substitute HIRF can be obtained by linear extrapolation.

The degradation of AlGaAs/GaAs laser diodes is studied in detail using laser scanning confocal microscopy, cathodoluminescence images, and x-ray diffraction (XRD) techniques. Our analysis has identified a degradation mechanism that results from the periodic distribution of the carrier density and the near-field intensity originating from periodic spatial hole burning. Based on the XRD measurements, we find that the epitaxial layer enters a polycrystalline phase during degradation due to the dark line defects, and the out-of-plane strain and in-plane compressive stress are induced by degradation.
