One of the most important developments in the energy industry is the evolution of smart grids, which record minute details of voltage levels, energy usage, and other critical electrical variables through General Packet Radio Service (GPRS)-enabled meters. This phenomenon creates an extensive dataset for the optimization of the grid system. However, the minute-by-minute energy details recorded by GPRS meters are challenging to store and manage in physical storage resources (old techniques lead to a memory shortage). This study investigates using the distributed file system, replicated Gluster, as a reliable storage option for handling and protecting the enormous volumes of data produced by smart grid components. This study performs two essential tasks. (1) The storage of virtual data received from GPRS meters and load flow analysis of SynerGee Electric 4.0 software from the smart grid (we have extracted electrical data from 16 outgoing feeders, distributed lines, in this manuscript). (2) Tele-trafficking is performed to check the performance of replicated Gluster (RG) for virtual data (electrical data received from the smart grid) storage in terms of User Datagram Protocol (UDP), Transmission Control Protocol (TCP), data flow, and jitter delays. This storage technique provides more opportuni11ty to analyze and perform smart techniques efficiently for future requirement, analysis, and load estimation in smart grids compared to traditional storage methods. As aviation technology advances, numerous new aircraft enter the market. These not only offer airlines technological and fuel efficiency advantages but also present the challenge of how to conduct pilots' aircraft-type transition training efficiently and economically. To address this issue, this study designed a methodology to quantitatively assess the similarity in panel display control design and standard operating procedures (SOPs) between aircraft types. Then, by combining the results of a questionnaire survey on A320, A330, B737, and B777 transition training and training cost data, it was verified quantitatively that inter-aircraft similarity has a positive impact on reducing the difficulty and cost of transition training. Taking the similarity in aircraft types as a feature, the KNN algorithm was used to successfully construct a difficulty prediction model for the training program of aircraft-type transition training. To overcome the limitation of insufficient training cost data volume, this study adopts the transfer learning method to construct a prediction model of the transition training cost, and the final significant prediction accuracy proves the effectiveness of the method. The research in this paper not only provides strong data support for the resource planning and cost management of airlines' aircraft-type transition training but also provides new research perspectives and methodological guidance for the field of aviation training. In order to solve the problems with the traditional aircraft target type recognition algorithm, such as difficulty in feature selection, weak generalization ability, slow recognition speed, and low recognition accuracy, this paper put forward a new method that could detect and recognize aircraft targets in aerial images quickly and accurately. The aircraft targets in the images were detected rapidly and located through YOLOv3-tiny, and after image denoising, shadow detection, and positioning, then we used the Sobel operator to calculate the edge gradient of the target; the image of the aircraft target was segmented by using the region growth method, and then the principal component analysis (PCA)was used to obtain the central axis of the aircraft target. The projected distance from the edge contour to the central axis was sampled at equal intervals along the direction of the central axis, and its ratio to the length of the central axis was calculated to construct the feature vector. Finally, the Spearman rank correlation method was used to match the feature vectors to realize the recognition of the aircraft type. Experiments showed that the proposed method had strong adaptability and small computation and could quickly detect and accurately recognize aircraft targets in aerial images. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In the railway digital mobile communication system (GSM-R), General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) system mainly carries non-real-time services such as scheduling and status monitoring. In order to improve the efficiency of research and development, a GPRS simulation system that meets the requirements of GSM-R is required. This paper first introduces system architecture of GSM-R packet domain simulation system, and explains the technical difficulties of simulation system, then describes the difference between simulation system and current network in the signaling process. The whole IP protocol simulation method is proposed and a GSM-R packet domain simulation system is built that meets the requirements of R & D and testing. Finally, the system performance indexes such as transmission rate and network delay are tested, which shows that the designed GSM-R packet domain simulation system can support non-difference communication of real railway application products in the simulated network environment. This paper introduces the operation mode of CTCS-3+ATO train control system and the relevant parameters of GPRS. By analyzing the monitoring data of the first domestic high-speed railway line using CTCS-3+ATO mode for more than one year, the high-speed railway ATO service fully meets the requirements of the specifications formulated by China Railway Group in terms of function and performance, and has no impact on the original CTCS-3 service, which proves the feasibility of using packet domain GPRS network to carry train control services. In order to enhance the availability of GPRS grouped domain channels and ensure the normal operation of ATO, this paper puts forward reasonable suggestions on BSC resource utilization, cell reset and ATO device protection. A problem of the minimum-energy broadcast routing is considered for efficient maritime data transmission coverage. The power emitted by a ship radio station is limited, and this limitation tethers distance. Given an initial number of ships and their locations, they are triangulated. Upon the triangulation, the edges exceeding the maximum edge length equivalent to the maximum distance are removed. If the resulting graph has no disconnected ships, the solution is the minimum spanning tree. For two or more disconnected subgraphs, a minimum spanning tree is built for each of them, and the corresponding set of the efficient solutions is formed. Within this set, no minimum spanning tree exists that would either be shorter by connecting no fewer than a number of ships from an efficient solution or be not longer by connecting more than a number of ships from an efficient solution. The respective optimization problem, consisting in minimizing the broadcasting route length along with maximizing the number of ships communicating through the route, is solved by scalarizing the two criteria. The scalarization consists in standardizing the two criteria and calculating the distance of every achievable standardized efficient solution to the unachievable standardized solution. The percentage of two or more disconnected subgraphs is about 60%, whereas it is about 80% probable that the number of efficient solutions is equal to the number of disconnected subgraphs. A novel four-parameter lifetime Lomax model is presented and investigated within the scope of this paper. The failure rate of the innovative model can be "monotonically decreasing failure rate," "monotonically increasing failure rate," or "constant failure rate," and the density of the model can be "asymmetric right skewed," "symmetric," "asymmetric left skewed," or "uniform density". The new density is expressed as a blend of the Lomax densities that have been multiplied by an exponent. New bivariate Lomax types were created for our research. The maximum likelihood technique was utilized. We performed simulated experiments for the purpose of evaluating the finite sample behavior of maximum likelihood estimators, using "biases" and "mean squared errors" as our primary metrics of analysis. The novel distribution was evaluated based on a number of pertinent Lomax models, including Lomax extensions that were generated on the basis of odd log-logistic, Kumaraswamy, beta, gamma, and Topp–Leone families, among others. General speech recognition models require large capacity and strong computing power. Based on small capacity and low computing power to realize speech analysis and semantic recognition is a research area with great challenges for constructing intelligent ecology of the Internet of Things. For this purpose, we set up the unit middleware for the implementation of human–machine interconnection, namely human–machine interaction based on phonetics and semantics control for constructing intelligent ecology of the Internet of Things. First, through calculation, theoretical derivation and verification we present a kind of novel deep hybrid intelligent algorithm, which has realized speech analysis and semantic recognition. Second, it is to establish unit middleware using the embedded chip as the core on the motherboard. Third, it is to develop the important auxiliary tools writer-burner and cross-compiler. Fourth, it is to prune procedures and system, download, burn and write the algorithms and codes into the unit middleware and cross-compile. Fifth, it is to expand the functions of the motherboard, provide more components and interfaces, for example including RFID(Radio Frequency Identification, RFID), ZigBee, Wi-Fi, GPRS(General Packet Radio Services, GPRS), RS-232 serial port, USB(Universal Serial Bus, USB) interfaces and so on. Sixth, we take advantage of algorithms, software and hardware to make machines "understand" human speech and "think" and "comprehend" human intentions so as to implement human–machine interconnection, which further structure the intelligent ecology of the Internet of Things. In this paper, the development and implementation of a novel approach for fault detection of an aircraft auxiliary power unit (APU) has been demonstrated. The developed approach aims to target the proactive identification of faults, in order to streamline the required maintenance and maximize the aircraft's operational availability. The existing techniques rely heavily on the installation of multiple types of intrusive sensors throughout the APU and therefore present a limited potential for deployment on an actual aircraft due to space constraints, accessibility issues as well as associated development and certification requirements. To overcome these challenges, an innovative approach based on non-intrusive sensors i.e., microphones in conjunction with appropriate feature extraction, classification, and regression techniques, has been successfully demonstrated for online fault detection of an APU. The overall approach has been implemented and validated based on the experimental test data acquired from Cranfield University's Boeing 737-400 aircraft, including the quantification of sensor location sensitivities on the efficacy of the acquired models. The findings of the overall analysis suggest that the acoustic-based models can accurately enable near real-time detection of faulty conditions i.e., Inlet Guide Vane malfunction, reduced mass flows through the Load Compressor and Bleed Valve malfunction, using only two microphones installed in the periphery of the APU. Cattle farming is undoubtedly one of the most lucrative subsectors of agriculture globally, but faces significant challenges such as the inability to monitor cattle health and location, and cattle rustling. This research aimed to develop a system to resolve these issues using sensors to monitor ambient/body temperature, magnetometer, and GPS. The proposed system comprises these components in a head strap. Data were transmitted via a long-range (LoRa) module to a base station, then to a website and mobile app using General Packet Radio Service (GPRS)/satellite. Information was received and monitored in real-time. Testing showed the system could be deployed in vast farmland to monitor cattle health and location satisfactorily in real-time. Unlike other systems, this system monitors cattle health and location with/without mobile network coverage due to satellite communication. Purpose: Throughout an aircraft development process, the conceptual design phase is an extremely important milestone; hence, the quality and success of this step directly affect the overall cost and lead time of the project. Because of this fact, the purpose of this study is to provide outputs and suggestions to the designing engineer regarding the requirements for reducing overall design time as well as costs and creating an ideal design at the early phases of the project by optimizing the aircraft development process. Design methodology approach: The system has been prepared parametrically and presents some performance specifications for the aircraft in the early phases of the design, for example, coefficients for lift CL as well as drag CD and weight as well as fuel estimations. The software uses a combination of well-known design techniques within just one platform in contrast to many other applications. Because of this feature, it is not needed to use different sub-platforms which would require an appropriate environment and even though would lead to complications with regard to the connectivity. The system also presents relevant information about the aircraft performance like velocity versus load factor (V-n) diagrams, maximum turn rate of climb, turn rate and climb angle graphs in contrast to many other open-source conceptual design platforms. Findings: In this study, authentic General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon and McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle data were used as input to the system, and advanced geometric and/or performance graphs were obtained and compared to the literature where a good agreement of the results was observed. These results with regard to the aircraft performance are typically product specific and quite rare in the literature. These data obtained by use of the software during the aircraft design are, thus, of major interest, especially for the design of new aerospace platforms. In this study, all of these graphs (especially the remarkable V-n diagram) are obtained on one platform. Originality value: The aircraft conceptual design and analysis system software provides information and suggestions regarding the requirements for reducing the overall design time, reducing the design costs and creating an optimized design at the early phases of a project by optimizing the aircraft development process within just one convenient, that is, user friendly, platform, where it uses a combination of varying methodologies. Besides presenting one interface, which is quite typical for conceptual design tools, it allows applications of methods like vortex lattices and finite differences for obtaining aerodynamic performance parameters. In-flight sitting comfort has become a key selection criterion for aircraft passengers when choosing their travel options among available flight services. This comfort feeling can often be associated with the ease of passengers in performing their typical in-flight activities. In view of this notion, having an appropriate height of the seat tray table that aptly matches the passengers' body anthropometry is imperative to enable them to adopt comfortable sitting posture while doing their in-flight activities. In this study, an activity-based sitting comfort experiment is conducted in an aircraft cabin mock-up where the participants were asked to rate their comfort level when they used the seat tray table during eating, writing and typing activities at seven different settings of the tray table's height: 66 cm, 69 cm, 72 cm, 75 cm, 78 cm, 81 cm and 84 cm. A total of 15 volunteers participated in the experiment and the collected sitting comfort data is then statistically analyzed through ANOVA method using the MINITAB software. The analysis results have indicated that the height of seat tray table and several passengers' anthropometry parameters have high influences on their in-flight comfort level while performing their common in-flight activities. Additionally, the findings also suggested that there is a potential optimum setting of seat tray table's height that can maximize the passengers' comfort level. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

LIDAR is an atmospheric sounding instrument based on the use of high-power lasers. The use of these lasers involves fulfilling obligations with respect to air safety. In this article, we present a low-cost air traffic surveillance solution integrated into an automated operating system for the Rayleigh-Mie-Raman LIDAR of Clermont Ferrand and the statistical elements of its application over more than two years of operation from September 2019 to March 2022. Air traffic surveillance that includes the possibility of shutting off lasers is required by international regulations because LIDAR is equipped with a class four laser that presents potential dangers to aircraft flying overhead. The original system presented in this article is based on software-defined radio. ADS-B transponder frames are analyzed in real-time, and laser emission is stopped during LIDAR operation when an aircraft is detected within a 2 km radius around the LIDAR. The system was accredited in 2019 by the French air traffic authorities. Laser shutdowns due to the detection of aircraft near the Clermont Ferrand LIDAR caused a data loss rate of less than 2% during the period of application. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The high gain, high speed/data rate, high capacity, and beamforming antennas are required for the present generation of mobile and wireless applications to satisfy the exponentially growing demands of the users. This paper presents low mutual coupling multiple input-multiple output (MIMO) array antenna for millimetre-wave (mmw) application. The MIMO-array beamforming antenna with 2:1 VSWR band is proposed for 28.0 GHz and covers 27.04–28.35 GHz frequency band, which is suitable for mm-wave n261 5G-band which cover the frequency range from 27.5–28.35 GHz. It consists of 2 × 12 antenna array elements and the prototype is designed on low loss Rogers Duroid 5880 substrate of size 51.45 × 36.87 mm 2. The beamforming MIMO antenna covers ± 20 0 main lobe directions. The mutual coupling at the MIMO-array ports is less than 28.0 dB. The radiation efficiency and the gain in the presented band are more than 93.0% and more than 13.99 dBi. The ECC in the presented frequency band is ≤ 10 - 4 , which is one of the advantages of the proposed design. The design covers indoor and outdoor Gaussian applications, and has 1.31 GHz TARC active bandwidth. It has 4.65% simulated and 4.73% measured fractional bandwidths. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Building information modelling (BIM) is the first step towards implementing Building 4.0, where virtual reality and digital twins are key elements. The use of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS/drones) to capture data from buildings is nowadays a very popular method, so a methodology was developed to digitally integrate the photogrammetric surveys of a building into BIM, exclusively with the use of drones. Currently, buildings are responsible for 40% of energy consumption in Europe; therefore, the interconnection between BIM and building energy modelling (BEM) is essential to digitalize the construction sector, increasing competitiveness through cost reduction. In this context, the BlueWoodenHouse Project aims, among other activities, to characterize the solutions/systems of building materials and monitor the temperature, relative humidity and CO2, as well as energy consumption, of a single-family modular wooden house located in the north of Portugal, with 190 m2 and three users. Thus, the experimental monitoring results, of this case study, were used to validate the numerical model developed in the DesignBuilder simulator, which includes the building envelope's 3D geometrical data obtained by one of those aircraft, in order to demonstrate the usefulness of drones for the optimization of solutions, from the energy point of view. Mobile edge computing (MEC) allows edge servers to be placed at cellular base stations. App vendors like Uber and YouTube can rent computing resources and deploy latency-sensitive applications on edge servers for their users to access. Non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) is an emerging technique that facilitates the massive connectivity of 5G networks, further enhancing the capability of MEC. The edge user allocation (EUA) problem faces new challenges in 5G NOMA-based MEC systems. In this study, we investigate the EUA problem in a multi-cell multi-channel downlink power-domain NOMA-based MEC system. The main objective is to help mobile app vendors maximize their benefit by allocating maximum users to edge servers in a specific area at the lowest computing resource and transmit power costs. To this end, we introduce a decentralized game-theoretic approach to effectively select a channel and edge server for each user while fulfilling their resource and data rate requirements. By altering the cutting edge profile, edge preparation can increase the stability of the cutting process, extend the tool life, and improve the machined surface quality. Herein, a theoretical model of cutting force based on milling tool edge preparation is established according to metal cutting theory and material constitutive equations. The influence of edge radius, milling speed, tool feed, cutting depth, and rake angle on the cutting force are investigated. The results of simulations of the tool milling force of a cemented carbide tool milling 45 steel were performed in the metal cutting modeling software AdvantEdge. Theoretical values of cutting force and torque are compared corresponding values obtained through the milling simulations and cutting experiments, respectively, to verify the proposed cutting force model based on edge preparation. In this paper, we build a D2D-relay communications model where the D2D user is selected as a relay to forward data for the users at the edge of the networks. We aim at maximizing the achievable data rates of the cell-edge users, a resource allocation problem is formulated and an iterative power allocation algorithm is proposed. We derive the optimal closed-form power allocation expressions by the Lagrange dual method. The OpenLDAT project (short for Open Latency Display and Analysis Tool) is a system composed of a self‐buildable device and an open‐licensed application to measure several display latency metrics. The most interesting metric is total system latency: the time between an action happening in the physical world, like a mouse being clicked, and the result being displayed on the screen, such as a muzzle flash from a weapon in a videogame. There is currently no similar device on the market, and this type of measurement is traditionally done manually using a modified mouse and a high speed camera, but OpenLDAT can measure it automatically using a built‐in test, or interactively, allowing testing of virtually any game or application, potentially on a separate machine. GEA-1 and its successor GEA-2 are two stream ciphers, designed to protect against eavesdropping General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) between the phone and the base station. They were widely used for GPRS encryption in the late 1990s and during the 2000s, and are surprisingly still supported in a range of current mobile phones. In this paper, new key recovery attacks on GEA-1 and GEA-2 are proposed by combining with the time-memory trade-off technique. The new attacks significantly reduce the time and memory costs of the previous attacks on GEA-1, and show that GEA-1 only offers 32-bit (out of 64) security. Furthermore, the slide properties of GEA-1 and GEA-2 are first found and used to explore practical related key attacks. The results show that GEA-1 and GEA-2 can be broken on a common PC within about 0.81 and 6.2 seconds in the multiple related key setting, respectively. Finally, an improved variant of GEA-2 called GEA-2a is proposed. The reasons for making the changes from GEA-2 are explained in detail, which indicates that GEA-2a has significantly better resistance than GEA-2 against all known attacks and can offer 64-bit security. The Internet is evolving, and data is a critical component of today's Internet. People are more interested in data than data location. An information-centric network (ICN) uses this idea and makes data, instead of host addresses, an integral component. Another essential topic in the contemporary period is cloud or edge computing, as well as the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), which becomes even more critical when combined with ICN. We initially rate the configuration of ICN with cloud or edge IoT and AI (ICN-CIoT-AI) in this study so that readers may learn about the latest trends and merging of ICN-CIoT-AI. As data rates rise and the Internet becomes a requirement for any technology, we require IoT settings in which data can be cached locally, which is possible when ICN collaborates with cloud or edge computing. To make this arrangement more intelligent, we require AI, and machine learning algorithms can help to overcome many obstacles. In this paper, we first discuss ICN, its deployment, and its unique features that distinguish it from its archrival TCP/IP. We then present the most recent research on ICN-CIoT-AI and provide a comprehensive analysis of this domain in terms of technology, AI/ML domain, IoT, and cloud technology. The study framework, simulation software, and results achieved by the researchers are also listed. Finally, we explore three broad categories of open issues and challenges raised by the researchers: security, performance, and in-network caching. Global climate change has caused observable effects across Earth, including glacial detachment, sea-level rise, and more intense heat waves. Those changes in the environmental conditions yield on the occurrence of fires in areas with a great abundance of Flora and Fauna, causing erosion and shifting in the plant and animal ranges. Even though multiple strategies have been adopted to mitigate climate change by means of international treaties such as the Paris agreement, this problem is still out of control in many places around the world and needs to be addressed using innovative technologies. In this work, we implement a forest fire monitoring and early warning system. This system is based on a wireless sensor network (WSN) whose nodes measure the environment to early-detect and prevent forest fires in rural areas. The WSN is built using open-access technologies and utilizes the Zigbee standard for radio-frequency communication between nodes. Measured data collected by the WSN are sent to a web server using the general packet radio service (GPRS) through TCP/IP protocol. Two metrics are used to evaluate the WSN performance, the data transmission rate, and the time delay, both measured from the moment data are collected to their reception in the web server. The WSN presents an average percentage of success for data transmission greater than 86%, alongside an average time delay below 500 milliseconds in all the tests performed, showing the potential of WSNs as nearly real-time forest fire detection systems. As more and more people choose high-speed rail (HSR) as a means of transportation for short trips, there is ever growing demand of high quality of multimedia services. With its rich spectrum resources, millimeter wave (mm-wave) communications can satisfy the high network capacity requirements for HSR. Also, it is possible for receivers (RXs) to be equipped with antenna arrays in mm-wave communication systems due to its short wavelength. However, as HSRs run with high speed, the received signal power (RSP) varies rapidly over a cell and it is the lowest at the edge of the cell compared to other locations. Consequently, it is necessary to conduct research on RX beamforming for HSR in mm-wave band to improve the quality of the received signal. In this paper, we focus on RX beamforming for a mm-wave train-ground communication system. To improve the RSP, we propose an effective RX beamforming scheme based on deep reinforcement learning (DRL), and develop a deep Q-network (DQN) algorithm to train and determine the optimal RX beam direction with the purpose of maximizing average RSP. Through extensive simulations, we demonstrate that the proposed scheme has better performance than the four baseline schemes in terms of average RSP at most positions on the railway. This paper presents an interdisciplinary approach, along with Vietnam's legal frameworks, to design an automatic hydro-meteorological (HM) observation network for a real-time flood warning system in Vu Gia-Thu Bon (VGTB) river basin, Vietnam. The automatic HM monitoring network consists of weather-proof enclosures containing data loggers, rechargeable batteries, sensors for air temperature, air humidity, solar radiation, wind speed, water level with attached solar panels and mounted upon masts located at fixed ground stations. A total of 20 meteorological stations and five hydrological stations have been built in VGTB river basin. To capture changes in weather and stream flow in the basin, the 5-minute and half-hour recording frequency options were set for meteorological and hydrological variables, respectively. All HM data was transmitted every 30 minutes to the data server at the data processing centre via Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM)/General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) network. These data were then input into hydrological-hydraulic models for inundation simulation in the basin. The results showed that the performance of flood simulation at hourly time step has significantly improved during flood events in September and November 2015. Overall, near-real-time HM data recording from an automatic monitoring network proved beneficial for an flood early warning system. HIGHLIGHTS The automatic HM observation network has been designed based on coefficient of variation, spatial interpolation, spatial analysis, Vietnamese Standards, and WMO regulations.; The density of the HM observation network on VGTB basin is increased due to the additional installation.; The automatic meteorological observation network contributes to improving the accuracy of flood simulation.;

• Uncertainties exist regarding the start cell presented in follow-on GPRS CDRs. • Data sessions were carried out across multiple networks. • The start cell captured in the CDRs were compared with RF survey results. • Results show current terminology used for follow-on GPRS CDRs is appropriate. This study investigated the accuracy of 3G and 4G follow-on GPRS (General Packet Radio Service)/mobile data CDRs (Call Detail Records) from three UK mobile network operators (EE, Vodafone and Three). Follow-on GPRS/mobile data CDRs are currently considered to be more open to misinterpretation than voice/SMS CDRs as uncertainties exist regarding the correspondence between the timestamp and the Cell ID presented within the CDRs. Consequently, follow-on GPRS/mobile CDRs may be disregarded during criminal investigations, potentially losing valuable intelligence and evidence. To assess the accuracy of follow-on GPRS/mobile data CDRs, connected mode RF (Radio Frequency) surveys were conducted while simultaneously producing follow-on GPRS/mobile data CDRs in a travelling vehicle. This allowed a comparison of the start Cell ID presented in the CDR and the Cell ID that provided coverage to the device at the start time of the CDR to assess the correspondence between the timestamp and the Cell ID presented within the CDRs, and to consider the validity of the terminology used by experts. It was found that individual follow-on GPRS/mobile data CDRs cannot consistently place a device within the coverage area of the start Cell ID at the start time of the CDR. Instead, the results indicate that a terminology which places the device within the coverage area of the start Cell ID 'at or before' the start time of the CDR is appropriate. Purpose: Solutions are here approached from the focal net point of view i.e. the collaborative arrangements through which firms combine their individual offerings into a coherent, customer-facing solution. Focal nets are seen as an effective way to organize for value-system and solution development. However, a precise understanding as to how inter-firm dynamics support the morphing of a focal net to develop a customer's solution is still not clear. This paper aims to provide an improved understanding of the dynamics at play between firms for providing a solution. Design/methodology/approach: A qualitative and exploratory research approach is adopted, exploring the relationships at play within a focal net dedicated to providing a solution in the aerospace industry: a total of four triads are selected and analyzed, all of them involving the same buyer (the aircraft manufacturer) the same buyer's customer (the airline) and a different service provider. Interviews with top managers in each company forming the triads have been carried out, with subsequent analysis, on the relational dynamics at play at the level of each triad and in-between triads within the focal net. Findings: The study shows the handling by a solution provider of the transition from a program focal net to a customer-specific solution focal net. The four triads presented, taken individually, highlight four different component devices each of which contributes toward handling this transition. The four triads taken together along with their interactions (inter-triad) denote the capability of the solution provider to manage the morphing of the focal net. Originality/value: The paper mobilizes a focal net perspective for the understanding of solution provision while combining this with a triadic perspective to demonstrate the inter-firm dynamics at play. The anti-seepage wall project is an important part of the anti-seepage system of water conservancy and hydropower projects, and it is the basic facility and barrier to resist floods and ensure the safety of people's lives and property. This paper analyzes the wireless communication GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) technology. After establishing a mathematical model and determining the optimal sensor deployment scheme, the mesh-type sensor network type is determined, and the overall design scheme of the system is analyzed. The wireless network completes the field information collection and instruction transmission, and transmits the field information to the remote monitoring platform for unified processing. In order to effectively improve the node coverage of wireless sensor networks, a network coverage optimization method based on a hybrid strategy to improve the Antlion algorithm is proposed. The continuity boundary shrinkage factor is used to improve the search traversal of the algorithm and accelerate the convergence speed. Dynamic weight coefficients are introduced during the elitization phase to balance the global exploration and local development capabilities of the algorithm. Combining the precocious convergence judgment mechanism and the dynamic hybrid mutation method, the algorithm can effectively jump out of the local optimum. The comparison experiments on 4 benchmark functions verify the effectiveness of the improved strategy. The water injection test was used to detect and evaluate the integrity and impermeability of the plastic concrete impervious wall. Based on Literature Review and Document Analysis, the research carried out on material collected from magazines, websites and institutions, presents some of the main problems of the current Brazilian society in facing the market imposition of the media. Through the contributions that ICT can promote to education, topics such as the use of digital technologies and the processes of digital inclusion in public education are addressed. On the other hand, fake news, the scrapping of public communication institutions and the market conspiracy to maintain monopolies promote the opposite movement towards social and technological development. The conclusions revolve around the problematic school-communication-society and identify important socio-structural obstacles to be faced by Brazil today, among them are: social exclusion in a capitalist and excluding society and the need to democratize communications in the search for indexes social and technological necessary for the full human, multicultural, democratic and universal development that Brazil owes to its people. Development of communication technology and media communication sites and the large increase in number of the users has led to interest of the advertisers and various companies and to benefit from it as an advertising means, to deliver their marketing messages to the consumers. The economical airlines sector has become, at the present time, one of the most service sectors that provide promotional messages on social media sites through which it aims to display its services and offers and to form an image for the consumer. Therefore, the study aimed to identify role of the promotional messages for these companies in building the image of the public. The quantitative approach was applied, whereby a questionnaire tool was used to collect the necessary information by application on 206 items, and the study reached a number of results, including: that promotional messages for economic airlines via Twitter help to obtain information about economic airlines, and that credibility of these promotional messages is among the public. Also a large percentage of the sample believes that promotional messages play a role in building and shaping image of the company. The researchers recommended that more attention should be paid to promotional messages, and promotional messages should be used in an effective way in forming a good image among the audience. A wideband, multi-standard MIMO antenna with hexagonal geometry and slot is proposed for DCS/PCS/LTE/UMTS applications while keeping the real time application at prime to provide high data rate, low latency, high capacity, non-line-of communication, and reliability with continuity. The designed prototype covers 1.64–2.50 GHz frequency band with percentage bandwidth of 41.55% and resonates at 2.1 GHz. The isolation of more than 10 dB is achieved in the 2:1 VSWR frequency band. The total bandwidth of the MIMO antenna is 860 MHz. The designed MIMO has peak gain of 5.4 dBi, ECC < 0.06, radiation efficiency > 88%, and total efficiency > 71%. The TARC active bandwidth is 600 MHz with best excitation angles of 45°, 45° at ports. The hexagonal slot is used for the control of induced current for better isolation. The graph convolutional network (GCN), which can handle graph-structured data, is enjoying great interest in recent years. However, while GCN achieved remarkable results for different kinds of tasks, the source of its performance and the underlying decision process remain poorly understood. In this paper, we propose a visual analytics system that supports progressive analysis of GCN executing process and the effect of graph convolution operation. Multiple coordinated views are designed to show the influence of hidden layer parameters, the change of loss/accuracy and activation distributions, and the diffusion process of correctly predicted nodes. In particular, since the traditional t-SNE and force-directed layout methods are unable to show the graph-structured data well, we propose to utilize 'graphTSNE', a novel visualization technique for graph-structured data, to present the node layout in a clearer way. The real-world graph dataset is used to demonstrate the usability and effectiveness of our system through case studies.
