ポスターツアーは協調学習の手法のひとつであり，学生はグループワークでポスターを作成したのち，ジグソー法の要領でグループを再編成し，口頭発表と質疑応答をおこなう。本研究では，ポスターツアーを導入した演習科目を対面とオンラインの両方の形態で実施し，学生による相互評価および授業評価を集計した。それらを比較した結果，学生同士の相互評価において対面授業ではオンライン授業よりも甘い評価をする傾向にある，学生は対面授業のほうがオンライン授業よりも難易度が高いと感じている，授業の総合的な満足度では両授業形態の差が無い，ことがわかった。, The gallery walk is one of the methods of collaborative education in which students create posters in groups. Then the groups are reorganized using the jigsaw method to make oral presentations and questions. In this study, I conducted face-to-face and online classes using gallery walks and compared the learning characteristics of the two learning styles. From the analysis of the students’ peer evaluation and class assessment, it was found that the students tended to give more severe evaluations to the students and felt less reached the goal in the online class than in the face-to-face class.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan dan menghasilkan model supervisi kolegial melalui gallery walk dengan membentuk komunitas virtual. R and D yang dilakukan ini menggunakan model (Borg and Gall, 2003) hingga tahap kelima. Subjek penelitian 6 guru ahli sebagai supervisor dan 6 guru yang disupervisi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan lembaran pedoman wawancara, angket, studi dokumetasi, dan lembaran pedoman FGD. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif serta uji Mann – Whitney. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) kegiatan supervisi akademik di SMAN 2 Toraja Utara telah dilaksanakan oleh kepala sekolah dengan dibantu Wakasek dan guru-guru kompeten melalui kunjungan kelas dan pengamatan langsung; 2) Kelemahan supervisi akademik yang dilaksanakan selama ini yaitu pemberian tindak lanjut belum dilakukan, pertemuan awal kadang tidak dilakukan, dan pelaksanaan kegiatan supervisi kadang tidak sesuai dengan jadwal yang ditentukan sebelumnya; 3) Model supervisi akademik yang dikembangkan adalah model supervisi VGC (Virtual Community and Gallery Walk in Collegial Supervison) yang terdiri dari gambar model supervisi VGC beserta jabarannya, virtual community dengan menggunakan google classroom dan buku panduan penggunaan model. Model yang dihasilkan ini sudah layak dan dapat diterapkan dalam bidang pendidikan bukan hanya di SMAN 2 Toraja Utara tetapi juga di sekolah-sekolah lainnya, terbukti dari hasil validasi dan uji coba produk dinilai sangat layak dan efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mengajar guru. The aim of this research is to develop and produce a model of collegial supervision through gallery walks by forming virtual communities. This R and D was carried out using a model (Borg and Gall, 2003) up to the fifth stage. The research subjects were 6 expert teachers as supervisors and 6 supervised teachers. The data collection techniques used were interview guide sheets, questionnaires, documentation studies, and FGD guide sheets. The collected data were analyzed descriptive–qualitative and quantitative by using Mann – Whitney test. Based on the results of research and discussion it can be concluded that: 1) activities academic supervision at SMAN 2 Toraja Utara has been carried out by the school principal with the assistance of the Vice Principal and competent teachers through class visits and direct observation; 2) Weaknesses in the academic supervision carried out so far, namely that follow-up has not been carried out, initial meetings are sometimes not held, and the implementation of supervision activities is sometimes not according to a predetermined schedule; 3) The academic supervision model developed is the VGC (Virtual Community and Gallery Walk in Collegial Supervison) supervision model which consists of pictures of the VGC supervision model and its descriptions, virtual community using google classroom and a manual for using the model

Relatório Final de Prática de Ensino Supervisionada do Mestrado em Ensino do 1º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e de Matemática e Ciências Naturais no 2º Ciclo do Ensino Básico apresentado na Escola Superior de Educação do Instituto Politécnico de Viana do Castelo O relatório está inserido na Prática de Ensino Supervisionada, desenvolvida numa turma de 5º ano, numa escola do 2.º e 3,º Ciclos do Ensino Básico. Encontra-se dividido em três partes. A primeira, apresenta o contexto educativo onde decorreu toda a intervenção didática, a segunda, está relacionada com o trabalho de investigação e a última parte, apresenta uma reflexão sobre toda a experiência didática proporcionada pela Prática de Ensino Supervisionada I e II. Numa altura em que tudo se encontra à distância de um clique, é necessário adaptar as estratégias a implementar em sala de aula tornando-as mais ativas. Desta forma, surge a Gallery Walk, como uma estratégia ativa de ensino e aprendizagem que contribui para o desenvolvimento da comunicação matemática e do pensamento crítico dos alunos. Por outro lado, a Geometria é uma área da Matemática considerada difícil pelos alunos sobretudo pelas diferentes representações matemáticas que envolve, muitas delas relacionadas com a orientação espacial e que são imprescindíveis na comunicação das ideias matemáticas, em particular na resolução de problemas. Apesar disso, as tarefas matemáticas podem potenciar processos variados de resolução, apelando à criatividade matemática e ao desenvolvimento do pensamento crítico. Destas ideias surge este trabalho de investigação que pretende compreender e caracterizar, através da utilização de duas GW, o desempenho e a reação dos alunos, assim como identificar características de criatividade, usada durante a resolução de tarefas desafiantes no âmbito da geometria no plano. O estudo será orientado por três questões principais: (1) Como se pode caracteriza o desempenho dos alunos na resolução de problemas de Geometria durante a realização de duas GW, identificando as suas principais dificuldades e estratégias utilizadas? (2) Como se pode caracterizar a criatividade dos alunos na resolução dos problemas propostos?; (3) Como se pode caracterizar a reação dos alunos à realização da GW, em particular às tarefas propostas e à dinâmica dessas GW?. Para a concretização deste estudo optou-se por uma metodologia de investigação de natureza qualitativa no design de estudo de caso, considerando dois grupos, desenvolvido numa turma do 5ºano de escolaridade com 19 alunos. Para a recolha de dados privilegiou-se as observações, as entrevistas, as produções escritas dos alunos, os registos audiovisuais e as notas de campo. A análise dos dados permitiu concluir que a realização da Gallery Walk proporciona aos alunos um momento de consolidação e aplicação de conhecimentos, no âmbito da Geometria plana, mas acima de tudo um momento de partilha de conhecimento e de aceitação de feedback. De um modo geral os alunos demonstraram um bom desempenho na resolução das tarefas durante a Gallery Walk, contudo evidenciaram-se dificuldades na interpretação dos enunciados e na utilização das propriedades dos triângulos e paralelogramos. Quanto aos índices de indicadores de criatividade foram muito reduzidos, sobretudo em relação às duas dimensões: flexibilidade e originalidade. Ao nível das reações dos alunos, conclui-se que a implementação de uma Gallery Walk aumenta o empenho e a motivação tanto da turma como dos grupos-caso, verificando muito companheirismo e entreajuda, tendo permitido uma maior apropriação, por parte dos alunos, das diferentes resoluções apresentadas. This report is part of the Supervised Teaching Practice, which is being developed in a 5th grade class, in a elementary school, it is divided into three parts. The first part presents the educational context where all the didactic intervention took place, the second part is related to the research work and the last part presents a reflection on the whole didactic experience provided by the Supervised Teaching Practice I and II. At a time when everything is just a click away, it is necessary to adapt teaching-learning methodologies to make them more active. Thus, Gallery Walk emerges as an active teaching and learning strategy that contributes to the development of mathematical communication and critical thinking in students. On the other hand, Geometry is an area of mathematics that is considered difficult by students mainly because of the different mathematical representations it involves, many of them selected with spatial orientation and that are the basis with which mathematical ideas are communicated, particularly in problem solving. From these ideas comes this research work that aims to understand and characterize the students' performance, in particular the use of mathematical creativity, used during the resolution of challenging tasks in geometry in the plane through a Gallery Walk. The study will be guided by three main questions: (1) How can we characterize the students' performance in solving Geometry problems during a Gallery Walk, identifying their main difficulties and strategies used? (2) How can we characterize the students' creativity in solving the proposed problems? To carry out this study we chose a qualitative research methodology in the case study design, considering two groups, developed in a 5th grade class with 19 students. For data collection, we privileged observations, interviews, students' written productions, audiovisual records and field notes. The analysis of the data allowed us to conclude that the Gallery Walk provides students with a moment of consolidation and application of knowledge in plane geometry, but above all a moment of knowledge sharing and feedback. In general, students showed a good performance in solving the Gallery Walk tasks, however there were difficulties interpreting the statements and using the properties of triangles and parallelograms in the proposed problems. As for the indices of creativity indicators, they were very low, especially in relation to the two dimensions: flexibility and originality. Regarding the students' reactions, we conclude that the implementation of a Gallery Walk increases the commitment and motivation of both the class and the case-groups, verifying a lot of companionship and mutual help.

The aim of this research is 1) implements the learning model with gallery walk type in student learning activities, 2) implements the cooperative learning model with learning together type in student learning activities, 3) compare the gallery walk type of cooperative learning with learning together type in student learning activities. The type of this research is experimental and comparative. Population in this research is student of Tri Dharma Palembang senior high school. The research sample is XI Social 1 as the Experiment Class 1 and XI Social 2 as the Experiment Class 2. The result shows 1) there is an impact from the implementation of gallery walk type of cooperative learning in students learning activities, 2) there is an impact of implementation of learning together type in student learning activities, 3) there is a comparison of cooperative learning of gallery walk type and learning together type in students learning activities.

Relatório de estágio de mestrado em Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e de Matemática e Ciências Naturais no 2.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, A investigação presente neste relatório de estágio, decorreu no ano letivo de 2020/2021, inserida no Mestrado em Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e de Matemática e Ciências Naturais no 2.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, do Instituto de Educação, da Universidade do Minho, sendo desenvolvida em dois contextos diferentes. Os contextos em que se realizou a investigação foram no 1.º e 2.º ciclos do Ensino Básico, nomeadamente numa turma do 4.º ano de escolaridade e numa turma do 5.º ano. A escolha do tema no interesse e motivações das crianças de ambas as turmas, selecionou-se a metodologia ativa: Gallery Walk. Recorrendo a esta metodologia pretendeu-se entender de que forma esta pode promover a comunicação matemática das crianças e, ainda, desejou-se responder a várias questões de investigação, sendo elas: Q1 – Quais as estratégias utilizadas pelas crianças na resolução de problemas? Como as explicitam? Como as justificam? Que dificuldades sentem?; Q2 – Quais as dificuldades sentidas pelas crianças na interpretação das resoluções apresentadas pelos colegas? Como as questionam?; Q3 – Ao longo da intervenção, denotou-se alguma melhoria relativamente à comunicação matemática das crianças?. A investigação efetivada teve contornos de uma investigação-ação, sendo esta metodologia caraterizada pela sua natureza cíclica, o que permitiu a reformulação das atividades e a adaptação de novas experiências. A investigação, em ambos os ciclos, foi caraterizada por ter um problema inicial (momento diagnóstico), três experiências Gallery Walk e culminou com um problema final (momento de avaliação final). Ao longo das intervenções foi possível verificar que as estratégias de resolução utilizadas pelas turmas foram a partir do pictórico, a simplificação do problema, por tentativa/erro, por experimentação e, ainda, através da dedução lógica; justificando as suas resoluções com o recurso à linguagem comum. Observou-se, ainda, uma evolução positiva em relação aos vários domínios da comunicação matemática escrita (clareza, fundamentação, lógica e profundidade) como na comunicação matemática oral (fluidez, profundidade e recurso). Sendo que foi possível, no final, afirmar que a Gallery Walk promove a comunicação matemática., The research present in this internship report took place in the academic year 2020/2021, inserted in the Master's degree in Teaching of the 1st Cycle of Basic Education and Mathematics and Natural Sciences in the 2nd Cycle of Basic Education, Institute of Education, University of Minho, being developed in two different contexts. The contexts in which the research took place were in the 1st and 2nd cycles of basic education, namely in a 4th grade class and in a 5th grade class. The choice of the theme in the interest and motivations of the children of both classes, the active methodology: Gallery Walk was selected. Using this methodology, it was intended to understand how it can promote the mathematical communication of children and, also, it was desired to answer several research questions, namely: Q1 – What strategies are used by children in problem solving? How do you explain them? How do you justify them? What difficulties do you have?; Q2 – What difficulties did children feel in interpreting the resolutions presented by their peers? How do they question them?; Q𝟑 – During the intervention, was there any improvement in the mathematical communication of children?. The effective investigation had the contours of an action investigation, and this methodology was characteristic of its cyclical nature, which allowed the reformulation of activities and the adaptation of new experiences. The investigation, in both cycles, was diagnosed by having an initial problem (diagnostic moment), three Gallery Walk experiments and culminated in a final problem (final evaluation moment). Troughout the interventions, it was possible to verify that the resolution strategies used by the groups were based on the pictorial, the simplification of the problem, by trial/error, by experimentation and, also, through logical deduction; justifuing their resolutions using common language. Furthermore, a positive evolution was observed in relation to the various domains of written mathematical communication (clarity, reasoning, logic and depth) as well as in oral mathematical communication (fluidity, depth and resource). Being that it was possible to affirm that the Gallery Walk promotes the mathematical communication.

Relatório Final de Prática de Ensino Supervisionada do Mestrado em Ensino do 1º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e de Matemática e Ciências Naturais no 2º Ciclo do Ensino Básico apresentado na Escola Superior de Educação do Instituto Politécnico de Viana do Castelo Este relatório foi desenvolvido no âmbito da unidade curricular de Prática de Ensino Supervisionada, do curso de Mestrado de Ensino do 1º CEB e de Matemática e Ciências Naturais no 2º CEB. Encontra-se dividido em três partes: a primeira diz respeito à caracterização dos contextos educativos nos quais decorreram as intervenções didáticas e à descrição dos percursos realizados nas diferentes áreas disciplinares; a segunda apresenta o estudo realizado no 2º CEB no âmbito da Matemática; e, a última, corresponde à reflexão final sobre a Prática de Ensino Supervisionada. O estudo reportado na segunda parte do relatório pretende compreender a influência do feedback escrito no desempenho dos alunos no âmbito de uma Gallery Walk numa perspetiva de avaliação por pares, tendo-se delineado as seguintes questões de investigação: (1) Como se caracteriza o desempenho dos alunos numa Gallery Walk, envolvendo a resolução de problemas de áreas de figuras planas?; (2) Que características tem o feedback escrito dado pelos alunos numa Gallery Walk?; (3) De que modo o feedback escrito influencia o desempenho dos alunos, aquando da implementação de uma Gallery Walk? De modo a dar resposta ao problema e às questões orientadoras, o presente estudo seguiu uma metodologia de investigação de natureza qualitativa com um design de estudo de caso, desenvolvido numa turma do 5º ano de escolaridade com 19 alunos. Como principais fontes de recolha de dados privilegiou-se a observação participante, o inquérito por questionário e por entrevista, as notas de campo os registos escritos e os registos audiovisuais. A análise dos dados permitiu concluir que, quando o emissor de feedback corresponde também a um aluno, recorre-se a diferentes tipologias de feedback, no entanto nem todos promovem a melhoria do desempenho do trabalho desenvolvido pelo recetor. Percebeu-se que o mais eficaz é o feedback centrado principalmente no conteúdo matemático emergente, recaindo principalmente no desempenho do aluno ao nível da resolução tarefa, do processo e do resultado. Verificou-se ainda que este feedback deve ser claro e simples de modo que o recetor compreenda claramente o que o emissor lhe pretende transmitir. This report was developed within the scope of the curricular unit of Supervised Teaching Practice, of the Master's Degree in Teaching of 1st Basic School and Mathematics and Natural Sciences in 2nd Basic School. It is divided into three parts: the first part is about the characterization of the educational contexts in which the didactic interventions took place and the description of the paths taken in the different subject areas; the second part presents the study carried out in 2nd CEB in Mathematics; and the last part corresponds to the final reflection on the Supervised Teaching Practice. The study reported in the second part of the report aims to understand the influence of written feedback on students' performance within a Gallery Walk in a peer review perspective, having outlined the following research questions: (1) How can we characterize the students' performance in a Gallery Walk, involving the resolution of problems about areas of plane figures? (2) What are the characteristics of the written feedback given by students in a Gallery Walk? In order to answer the problem and the guiding questions, this study followed a qualitative research methodology with a case study design, developed in a 5th grade class with 19 students. The main sources of data collection were participant observation, questionnaire and interview surveys, field notes, written and audiovisual records. Data analysis allowed us to conclude that, when the sender of feedback also corresponds to a student, different types of feedback are used, but not all of them promote the improvement of the performance of the work developed by the receiver. It was perceived that the most effective is the feedback focused mainly on the emerging mathematical content, focusing mainly on the student's performance in terms of task resolution, process and result. It was also found that this feedback should be clear and simple so that the receiver clearly understands what the sender intends to convey.

Não recebi financiamento The present research had as investigative scope an active teaching strategy called Gallery Walk when inserted in the teaching scope of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. Gallery Walk is similar to an art gallery, in which visitors try to understand what the artist expressed through his artistic exhibition. During the activity permeated by this teaching strategy, students can move around the room and talk to their groups with the intention of observing images, posters or even their own work. Along this route, they can contribute with comments, share ideas and request clarification from colleagues about the doubts that have arisen along the way. Furthermore, it is possible that problems-issues or tasks may be introduced to be jointly solved, in order to encourage collaborative work and the active engagement of students. In this sense, this research was guided by the following question: How has Gallery Walk been used in Basic Education, according to scientific productions for the period 2010 to 2020? This research can be characterized as qualitative, exploratory and bibliographical. To answer the research question, a survey of scientific publications was carried out in four online academic search platforms. From a total of 60 items, ten productions were selected and analyzed, as some of them were present in more than one platform. In this way, it was possible to identify the analysis categories for each of the areas. In relation to the area of Mathematics, three categories of flexibility were constructed, namely: broad, intermediate and restricted. And, for Science of Nature, the category entitled walk in the gallery was created. The results point to the positive effects of inserting this active teaching strategy in teaching and learning contexts, especially for the two areas mentioned, in addition to demonstrating the gaps in academic productions about Gallery Walk in Brazil and abroad. Therefore, this research recommends the production of new research on the theme Gallery Walk in other online platforms and filters, as well as works in different areas of knowledge. A presente pesquisa teve como escopo investigativo uma estratégia ativa de ensino denominada Gallery Walk quando inserida nos âmbitos de ensino de Matemática e de Ciências da Natureza. A Gallery Walk se assemelha a uma galeria de artes, em que os visitantes tentam compreender o que o artista expressou por meio de sua exposição artística. Durante a atividade perpassada por essa estratégia de ensino, os estudantes podem se movem ao redor da sala e conversar com seus grupos na intenção de observar imagens, pôsteres/cartazes ou até mesmo seus próprios trabalhos. Neste percurso, podem contribuir com comentários, partilhar ideias e solicitar esclarecimentos aos colegas a respeito das dúvidas que foram surgindo ao longo da caminhada. Ademais, é possível que sejam introduzidas questões-problema ou tarefas para serem solucionadas conjuntamente, a fim de incentivar o trabalho colaborativo e o engajamento ativo dos educandos. Neste sentido, esta pesquisa foi balizada com a seguinte questão: De que forma a Gallery Walk tem sido utilizada na Educação Básica, de acordo com as produções científicas referentes ao período de 2010 a 2020? Considerando-se as suas especificidades, esta pesquisa pode ser caracterizada como qualitativa, exploratória e bibliográfica. Para responder à questão de investigação, foi realizado um levantamento de publicações científicas em quatro plataformas acadêmicas online de busca. De um total de 60 itens, foram selecionadas e analisadas dez produções, já que algumas delas estiveram presentes em mais de uma plataforma. Dessa forma, foi possível identificarmos categorias de análise para cada uma das áreas. Com relação à área de Matemática, foram construídas três categorias de flexibilização, a saber: ampla, intermediária e restrita. E, para Ciências da Natureza, foi criada a categoria intitulada caminhada na galeria. Os resultados apontam para os efeitos positivos da inserção dessa estratégia ativa de ensino em contextos de ensino e aprendizagem, sobretudo para as duas áreas mencionadas, além de demonstrar lacunas de produções acadêmicas sobre a Gallery Walk no Brasil e fora dele. Portanto, esta pesquisa recomenda a produção de novas pesquisas sobre a temática Gallery Walk em outras plataformas online e filtros, assim como trabalhos em distintas áreas do saber.

Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian pre-eksperimen the one Grup Pretest-posttest design dengan populasi adalah siswa kelas XI-IPS SMA Swasta Pemda 2 Gunungsitoli, yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu angket, tes, lembar observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe gallery walk memiliki korelasi sebesar 0,792 berada pada kategori sedang dengan persamaan analisis regresi sederhana Y= -11,508 + 1,631X. Hasil uji hipotesis dengan SPSS diperoleh thitung = 5,720 dan ttabel sebesar 2,048 ini berartit hitung ≥ ttabel dengan nilai 5,720 ≥ 2,048 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 sehingga H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa dapat pengaruh dari penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe gallery walk terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI-IPS SMA Swasta Pemda 2 Gunungsitoli. Besarnya kontribusi pengaruh model pembelajaran tersebut adalah 62,4%, sedangkan 37,6% tersebut dipengaruhi faktor-faktor lain yang belum dikaji dalam penelitian ini.

This study aims to see the effect of the gallery walk method application to the attitudes and activeness of the students. The research data was obtained through quasi-experimental research by using randomized subjects posttest only controlled group design. This research was conducted at VIII grade students of MTsS Darussalam Sitiung 1 Islamic Boarding School Dharmasraya Regency which consisted of 2 classes with a population of 50 students. Samples were selected by simple total sampling technique, where the experimental and the controlled class were selected by lotting method. Data collection was carried out using observation and data analysis techniques through statistical tests consisting of normality, homogeneity and hypothesis tests with a significance level of 5%. Data from the hypothesis using the t test shows that the t counted for the formation of attitudes, and activeness is 3.21 and 2.16, respectively with v = 48. Based on these values it is known that t counted > t table for the attitudes and activeness of students, namely (3.21> 1.677), and ( 2.16> 1,677) at the 5% significance level. Thus the hypothesis H o is rejected and H 1 is accepted, where the formation of the attitudes and activeness of students using the gallery walk method is better than using conventional learning with a certainty of 95%.

Dissertação de Mestrado em Supervisão Pedagógica apresentada na Escola Superior de Educação do Instituto Politécnico de Viana do Castelo A supervisão pedagógica deverá assumir nas escolas um papel que vá além da formação inicial. Espera-se que os professores tenham um papel ativo no processo da sua formação, que deve ocorrer ao longo de toda a carreira, assumindo posturas reflexivas e autoformativas. Assim, os processos de supervisão apresentam-se associados a práticas que buscam a emancipação, transformação, autonomia, permitindo o desenvolvimento pessoal e profissional, transpondo uma atitude mais burocrática, de controlo, para uma atitude reflexiva. Por outro lado, sabemos que a seleção de tarefas matemáticas e a forma como são implementadas na sala de aula têm impacto ao nível do envolvimento dos alunos, e, por conseguinte, nas suas aprendizagens. Assim, devem ser promovidas estratégias de aprendizagem ativa, que requerem não só o seu envolvimento intelectual, mas também social e físico. Pretende-se assim com este estudo compreender de que modo um processo de autossupervisão, assente na prática de autorreflexão e auto-observação, se relaciona com o desenvolvimento pessoal e profissional de uma professora de matemática quando implementa uma Gallery Walk, numa turma de 11.º ano, e o desempenho e envolvimento dos alunos quando participam nessa Gallery Walk. Propõe-se para esta investigação qualitativa de natureza interpretativa, com design de estudo de caso, numa dinâmica de autossupervisão, a observação participante, a entrevista semiestruturada, o diário do professor, registos audiovisuais, questionários e documentos escritos, como instrumentos de recolha de dados. Neste estudo, os alunos envolveram-se ao nível comportamental, afetivo e cognitivo, verificando-se empenho, atenção, respeito pelos colegas e interesse nas Gallery Walk implementadas. O desempenho dos alunos foi positivo, concretizaram com sucesso a maioria das tarefas, e as dificuldades que foram surgindo, ao nível da compreensão de enunciados e definição de estratégias adequadas, foram ultrapassadas com o trabalho colaborativo e a partilha de ideias, principalmente na discussão final. A professora envolveu-se ao nível comportamental, manifestando atenção, empenho e promovendo um ambiente positivo e favorável às aprendizagens. As frustrações e ansiedades sentidas pela professora geraram situações de questionamento, que iv associadas a uma postura introspetiva e reflexiva, permitiram clarificar e analisar criticamente a ação pedagógica. Este estudo permitiu concluir ainda que a implementação da estratégia ativa Gallery Walk, associada a processos autossupervisivos, possibilitou o desenvolvimento das capacidades dos alunos ao nível da comunicação, argumentação e análise das ideias dos colegas. Por outro lado, a articulação entre teoria e prática permitiu à professora assumir-se como profissional em (re/des)construção, reformulando as suas ações. Pedagogical supervision should take on a role in schools that goes beyond initial training. Teachers are expected to play an active role in the process of their training, which should take place throughout their careers, assuming reflective and self-formative approaches. Thus, supervision processes are associated with practices that seek emancipation, transformation, autonomy, allowing personal and professional development, transposing a more bureaucratic attitude, of control, to a reflective one. On the other hand, we know that the selection of mathematical tasks and the way they are implemented in the classroom have an impact on the level of students' engagement, and therefore on their learning. Consequently, active learning strategies should be promoted, which require not only their intellectual, but also social and physical engagement. The aim of this study is to understand how a process of self-supervision, based on the practice of self-reflection and self-observation, is related to the personal and professional development of a mathematics teacher when implementing a Gallery Walk, in an 11th grade class, and the performance and involvement of students when participating in that Gallery Walk. It is proposed for this qualitative research of an interpretative nature, with case study design, in a dynamic of self-supervision, participant observation, semi-structured interview, teacher’s diary, audiovisual recordings, questionnaires and written documents as data collection tools. In this study, the students got involved at the behavioural, affective and cognitive level, with commitment, attention, respect for colleagues and interest in the Gallery Walk implemented. The students' performance was positive, they successfully accomplished most of the tasks, and the difficulties that arose at the level of understanding statements and defining appropriate strategies were overcome with collaborative work and the sharing of ideas, especially in the final discussion. The teacher got involved at the behavioural level, showing attention, commitment and promoting a positive and learning-friendly environment. The frustrations and anxieties felt by the teacher generated situations of questioning, which associated with an vi introspective and reflective approach, allowed clarifying and critically analysing the pedagogical action. This study allowed the conclusion that the implementation of the active Gallery Walk strategy, associated with self-supervisory processes, allowed the development of the students’ capacities at the level of communication, argumentation and analysis of their colleagues’ ideas. On the other hand, the articulation between theory and practice allowed the teacher to assume herself as a professional in (re/des)construction, reformulating her actions.

Neste artigo, apresentamos um trabalho desenvolvido por crianças do 1.º ano de escolaridade, centrado numa gallery walk, com o objetivo de promover o desenvolvimento do sentido de número e da resolução de problemas, potenciando a autonomia dessas. Esta técnica permite que as crianças resolvam tarefas, em grupo, exibam os seus registos como se estivessem numa galeria de arte, podendo mesmo exporem-se os trabalhos dentro ou fora da sala de aula (Fosnot & Dolk, 2002). Seguindo uma metodologia qualitativa, de natureza interpretativa, o estudo desenvolveu-se em três sessões, cada uma com 90 minutos de duração, com 20 crianças de um colégio do distrito do Porto. Os dados foram recolhidos através de observação participante, notas de campo e registos fotográficos das representações gráficas de números feitas pelas crianças. Os dados recolhidos permitiram verificar uma maior motivação e envolvimento na execução das tarefas por parte das crianças, não só por trabalharem de forma colaborativa, como também pelo facto de se ter proporcionado um ambiente onde estas tiveram liberdade de movimento. We are living in a complex and rapidly changing world, in which it will be very difficult to survive without solid knowledge and skills. Thus, the teacher should use strategies, inside and outside the classroom, that meet the different types of thinking displayed by the students, confronting them with tasks, with multiple resolutions, that challenge them to see outside of the box, that motivate them to learn and challenge them to work with each other. On the other hand, many studies recommend that children need to move as an active body incites the brain, making students more involved, which contributes to a better performance. In this sense, preservice and inservice teacher training should promote an insight into the nature of mathematics and its teaching, enabling (future) teachers to have different teaching and learning experiences that they are expected to use with their own students. In this context, the gallery walk (GW) emerges as a strategy to contemplate in classroom practices, which allows students, through collaborative work, to solve problems, present and discuss their resolutions in posters, located around the classroom. This paper presents a qualitative and interpretive study,withan exploratory approach, developed in the context of preservice teacher training for primary school education (6-12 years old), in order to identifythestrategies used by the studentswhen solving problems with multiple solutions, using a GW, as well as characterize their reaction during their involvement in this strategy. The results allowed to identify the strategies used by the participants and to verify the potential of the GW in the involvement in the solutionsand discussions, which proved to be more effective than in more traditional discussions, allowing to increase the repertoire of solving processes of each student. Estamos viviendo en un mundo complejo y en rápido cambio, por lo que es difícil sobrevivir en él sin conocimientos sólidos y capacidades adecuadas. Así, el profesor debe tratar de utilizar estrategias, dentro y fuera del aula, que permitan ir al encuentro de los diferentes tipos de pensamiento exhibidos por los alumnos, confrontándolos con tareas, con múltiples resoluciones, que los desafíen a ver fuera de la caja, que los entusiasman para aprender y los ponen a trabajar unos con otros. Por otro lado, hay estudios que recomiendan que los niños necesitan moverse, pues un cuerpo activo incita al cerebro haciendo los alumnos más involucrados. Así, la formación de profesores, inicial y continuada, debe promover una visión sobre la naturaleza de las matemáticas y de su enseñanza, que permita a los (futuros) profesores tener diferentes experiencias de enseñanza y aprendizaje, que se espera vengan a usar con sus propios estudiantes. En este contexto, surge la gallery walk (GW) como una estrategia a contemplar en las prácticas de aula, que permite que los alumnos, a través del trabajo colaborativo, resuelvan problemas, presenten y discutan sus resoluciones en pósteres, ubicados alrededor de la sala de clase. En este artículo se presenta un estudio de carácter cualitativo e interpretativo, en un abordaje exploratorio, desarrollado en el ámbito de la formación inicial de profesores del primer y segundo ciclo de la enseñanza básica (6-12 años) donde se pretende identificarlas estrategias utilizadas y verificar el potencial de la GW, así como caracterizar su reacción durante la participación en esa estrategia. Los resultados permitieron identificar las estrategias utilizadas por los participantes y verificar el potencial de GW en la participación en la resolución de los problemas y en las discusiones que se mostró más eficaz que en las discusiones más tradicionales, permitiendo aumentar el repertorio de procesos de resolución de cada alumno. Relatório Final de Prática de Ensino Supervisionada do Mestrado em Ensino do 1º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e de Matemática e Ciências Naturais no 2º Ciclo do Ensino Básico apresentado na Escola Superior de Educação do Instituto Politécnico de Viana do Castelo O ensino-aprendizagem dos Números Racionais é considerado um tema estruturante e um dos mais importantes no currículo do ensino da Matemática, contudo revela-se de grande complexidade. Pelo que é importante que os alunos, paralelamente com a aquisição dos conhecimentos relacionados com os Números Racionais, desenvolvam a capacidade de Resolução de Problemas. Assim, de modo a promover o desenvolvimento destas duas capacidades aliadas à necessidade de movimentação dos alunos, surgiu a estratégia da Gallery Walk, permitindo aos alunos partilhar ideias, resolver problemas, receber feedback do seu trabalho e dar feedback aos outros. Com base nos pressupostos anteriores, desenvolveu-se um estudo, no âmbito da Unidade Curricular Prática de Ensino Supervisionada (PES), com uma turma de 6ºano de escolaridade com 19 alunos, onde se pretendia compreender de que forma a Gallery Walk contribuía para o conhecimento da Resolução de Problemas de Números Racionais, identificando as principais estratégias de resolução e as dificuldades manifestadas, pelo que foram enunciadas três questões orientadoras: (Q.1) Como se carateriza o desempenho dos alunos na Resolução de Problemas com Números Racionais, identificando as principais estratégias e dificuldades manifestadas? (Q.2) De que forma a Gallery Walk contribui na aprendizagem da Resolução de Problemas de Números Racionais? (Q.3) Como podemos caraterizar o envolvimento dos alunos na realização de uma Gallery Walk?. Para o desenvolvimento deste estudo, optou-se por uma metodologia qualitativa de caráter interpretativo e exploratório, em que a recolha de dados incidiu sobre o desempenho dos alunos em diferentes fases da intervenção didática, através de observações participantes, diálogos, dois questionários, entrevistas semiestruturadas e produções escritas pelos alunos às tarefas propostas. Os resultados obtidos mostram que os alunos apresentam, no geral, um desempenho bastante positivo em relação à resolução das tarefas, às explicações do próprio raciocínio, ao trabalho de grupo, à apresentação das dificuldades e como as combater. No ramo das dificuldades, alguns alunos revelam lacunas em diferentes níveis, nomeadamente, interpretação dos enunciados, explicações e cálculos. Durante a Gallery Walk foi possível observar que essas dificuldades eram ultrapassadas através do trabalho colaborativo e ainda foram capazes de desenvolver as suas capacidades de comunicar em frente de toda a turma e analisar criticamente os trabalhos dos colegas. Além disso, a Gallery Walk permitiu que os alunos aprofundassem o seu conhecimento e ampliassem o seu reportório de estratégias de Resolução de Problemas com Números Racionais. Através de todas as produções escritas, é possível verificar que os alunos utilizaram estratégias de resolução com incidência no recurso ao Modelo da Barra, mas também foram capazes de recorrer a outras estratégias que mobilizavam conhecimentos de outros conteúdos matemáticos. The teaching and learning of the Rational Numbers is considered a strategic theme and one of the most important in the mathematics curriculum. To that end, the development of these numbers in parallel with Problem Solving emerges. In order to promote the development of these two skills along with the need for students to move, the Gallery Walk strategy has emerged, allowing students to share ideas, solve problems, receive feedback from their work and give feedback to others. Based on these assumptions, a study was developed in the Curricular Unit of Supervised Teaching Practice, with a six-grade class with 19 students, where it was intended to understand in which ways Gallery Walk would contribute to the insight of problem-solving with rational numbers, making as well a survey of the main solving strategies and expressed difficulties. To guide the study, four questions were raised: (Q.1) Which strategy did the students privilege in problem-solving with rational numbers? (Q.2) How are the main difficulties of students in problem-solving with rational numbers described? (Q.3) How does the Gallery Walk contribute to learning in problem-solving with rational numbers? (Q.4) How can we describe student involvement during a Gallery Walk? To develop this study, it was decided to use a qualitative methodology of interpretative nature, in which the data gathering was focused on the individual performance and the group performance in different phases of the didactic intervention. To that end, data was gathered by participating observations, dialogues, two surveys (one at the beginning and one at the end), semi-structured interviews with each group and written productions by the students. The results obtained show that the students present, overall, a very positive performance when it comes to task resolution, being able to explain their thinking, teamwork as well as understanding their difficulties regarding public presentations and how to overcome them. Regarding the difficulties, some students reveal gaps in different levels, for instance, the interpretation, explanation and calculus. During the Gallery Walk it was possible to observe that those difficulties were overcome through collaborative work and were able to improve their communicating skills in front of the class and analyze the work of their classmates. Besides that, the Gallery Walk allowed students to deepen their knowledge and extended their repertoire of strategies to solve problems with rational numbers. Through all written productions, it's possible to verify that students used strategies and resolution models presented during the didactic intervention, with an effect on the development of the Bar Model but were also able to apply other strategies that mobilized knowledge of other mathematical content.

The purpose of this research is to know if there any difference and improvement of students mathematic communication ability by using learning models Teams Games Tournaments that modified by Gallery Walk between the students who used with the students who didn’t used a media device Book of Mathematic Education (BOM-E). Research method that had been used in this research is quantitative description with experimental method. The population of this research is the students of SMK Yamsik Kuningan Class XI as many as 110 students with the total of sample is 55 students. The experiment class is the students who used learning media device Book of Mathematic Education (BOM-E) and the control class is the students who didn’t used learning media device Book of Mathematic Education (BOM-E). The research intrument that had been used by this research is test instrument in the form of pretest and posttest essay questions. Data analysis techniques used Normality test as a prerequisite test, because there is a data that are not normally distributed so the data processing by non-parametric statistics used Kruskal-Wallis H Test. The result of this research showed that in Kruskal-Wallis H Test produces H values as bis as 30,3030 with Chi Square value as bis as 3,8415 and that means there is a differences of improvements in mathematical communication ability. So it can be concluded that in the application of mathematics learning media device Book of Mathematic of Education (BOM-E) has an influence on the differences in the improvement of students mathematical communication ability where the students who used learning media device Book of Mathematic Education (BOM-E) have a significant increase compared to the students who didn’t used learning media device Book of Mathematic Educationn (BOM-E).

Relatório Final de Prática de Ensino Supervisionada do Mestrado em Ensino do 1º e 2º Ciclos do Ensino Básico apresentado na Escola Superior de Educação do Instituto Politécnico de Viana do Castelo O presente relatório foi desenvolvido no âmbito da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada II, no contexto do 2º ciclo do Ensino Básico e apresenta-se dividido em três partes. A primeira e terceira partes referem-se à Prática de Ensino Supervisionada, iniciando com o seu enquadramento e concluindo-se com uma reflexão sobre a mesma. A segunda parte descreve o estudo realizado na área da Matemática, numa turma do 5º ano de escolaridade, e que pretendia compreender o envolvimento e desempenho dos alunos, ao longo das aulas de Organização e Tratamento de Dados e na realização de um projeto estatístico, recorrendo a uma gallery walk. De forma a orientar o estudo delinearam-se as seguintes questões: (Q1) Como se caracteriza o desempenho dos alunos ao longo das aulas de OTD? (Q2) Como se caracteriza o desempenho dos alunos nas diferentes fases de um projeto estatístico? (Q3) Como se pode caracterizar a Gallery Walk como uma estratégia de ensino aprendizagem? Optou-se por uma metodologia de natureza qualitativa de natureza interpretativa. A recolha de dados incidiu na turma e nos diferentes grupos de trabalho, e foram recolhidos através da observação participante, três questionários, entrevistas semiestruturadas a cada um dos grupos, documentos produzidos pelos alunos e meios audiovisuais. Da análise de dados concluiu-se que os alunos apresentaram um desempenho satisfatório quer na realização das tarefas propostas quer no projeto estatístico. Na realização das tarefas as principais dificuldades verificadas estão relacionadas com os arredondamentos nas tabelas de frequências, na construção de gráficos, nomeadamente, nos seus aspetos formais e na compreensão do conceito de média. Durante o projeto estatístico, observou-se uma grande dificuldade na interpretação e análise de dados recolhidos. Durante a Gallery Walk, a turma apresentou um bom desempenho e grande envolvimento, desenvolvendo a sua capacidade de comunicar, argumentar e analisar as ideias dos colegas. The present report was developed regarding the Supervised Teaching Practice II, in the context of the 2nd cycle of Basic Education, and it is split between three parts. The first and third parts refer to the Supervised Teaching Practice, starting with its frameworkand concluding with a reflection. The second part describes a study in the field of Mathematics in a 5th grade class of schooling, and intended to understand the participation and performance of the students throughout the classes of Organization and Data Processing (OTD) and in the development of a statistical project, using a Gallery Walk. To guide the study, the following questions were outlined: (Q1) How can we characterize the performance of the students during the classes of OTD? (Q2) How can we characterize the performance of the students in the different phases of the Statistical Project? (Q3) How can we characterize the Gallery Walk as a learning and teaching strategy? It was decided to choose a methodology with a qualitative interpretive nature. The collection of data focused on the class and the different groups of work, and was collected through observations of the participants, three questionaries, semi-structured interviews to each group, documents produced by the students and audiovisual media. From the data analysis we conclude that the students showed satisfactory performance both in the realization of the proposed tasks and in the statistical project. In the realization of the tasks, the main dificulties have to do with rounding on frequency tables, graphic construction, mainly on formal aspects, and comprehension of the concept of mean. During the statistical project, the main difficulty observed was on the interpretation and data analysis. During the Gallery Walk, the class showed a good performance and great involvement, developing their ability to communicate, to argue and to analyze the ideas of the colleagues.

Relatório Final de Prática de Ensino Supervisionada do Mestrado em Ensino do 1º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e de Matemática e Ciências Naturais no 2º Ciclo do Ensino Básico apresentado na Escola Superior de Educação do Instituto Politécnico de Viana do Castelo O presente estudo desenvolveu-se no âmbito da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada (PES), numa Escola Básica 2,3/S do distrito de Viana do Castelo, numa turma do 5º ano de escolaridade do 2º Ciclo do Ensino Básico (CEB), tendo-se centrado na área da Matemática, mais concretamente no domínio de conteúdo Organização e Tratamento de Dados (OTD). O estudo focou-se na realização de Projetos Estatísticos como viabilizadores de cidadãos capazes de viver de forma consciente e informada na sociedade, realizados através de uma Gallery Walk. Pretendeu-se compreender quais as maiores dificuldades sentidas pelos alunos no que respeita às diferentes noções estatísticas e ao modo como eles mobilizam os conhecimentos adquiridos nas aulas de OTD na realização de Projetos Estatísticos através de uma Gallery Walk, pelo que foram definidas as seguintes questões orientadoras para o estudo: (Q.1): Quais os principais conhecimentos e dificuldades identificados na resolução de tarefas de OTD?; (Q.2): Como se pode caraterizar a mobilização dos conhecimentos adquiridos ao longo das aulas no desenvolvimento do Projeto Estatístico durante a Gallery Walk?; (Q.3): Qual o envolvimento dos alunos nas tarefas de OTD realizadas ao longo das aulas e na realização dos Projetos Estatísticos durante a Gallery Walk? Tendo em conta o problema e as questões do estudo, optou-se por uma metodologia de investigação qualitativa, de natureza interpretativa, privilegiando-se a observação participante, questionários, entrevistas, documentos escritos e registos fotográficos na recolha de dados. Assim, no final do estudo é possível constatar que os alunos possuem conhecimentos estatísticos anteriores, apresentando dúvidas principalmente ao nível dos arredondamentos, no cálculo da média de dados agrupados e no significado da frequência relativa e da média em diferentes contextos. Contudo, o trabalho com dados de interesse para o aluno e num ambiente que proporciona liberdade no processo de aprendizagem fomentam o entusiasmo do aluno e contribuem para a superação de dificuldades e para a mobilização e consolidação de conhecimentos. This study was developed within the context of the Supervised Teaching Practice (PES), in an Elementary School in the district of Viana do Castelo, with a group of 5th grade students, focusing on the area of Mathematics, more specifically within the domain of Organization and Data Processing (OTD). The study focused on the development of Statistical Projects as enablers of citizens able to live in a conscious and informed society, accomplished through a Gallery Walk. It was intended to understand the major difficulties experienced by students regarding the different statistical concepts and how they mobilized the acquired knowledge in OTD classes when developing Statistical Projects through a Gallery Walk. So, the following questions were defined to guide the study: (Q.1): What are the main knowledge and difficulties identified in the solution of OTD tasks?; (Q.2): How can we characterize the knowledge acquired during the classes in the development of the Statistical Project during the Gallery Walk ?; (Q.3): What kind of involvement do students reveal in OTD tasks carried out during the classes and in the accomplishment of the Statistical Projects through a Gallery Walk? Taking into account the problem and the questions of the study, a qualitative research methodology was chosen, with an interpretative nature, with emphasis on participant observation, questionnaires, interviews, written documents and photographic records in data collection. Therefore, at the end of the study it is possible to verify that the students have previous statistical knowledge, presenting doubts mainly at the level of rounding, in the calculation of the mean of grouped data and in the meaning of the relative frequency and the mean in different contexts. However, working with significant data, in the perspective of the student, and in an environment that provides freedom in the learning process instigates a certain enthusiasm from the student and contributes to the overcoming of difficulties and mobilizing and consolidating knowledge.
