Colombia es un país que por más de 60 años ha sufrido un conflicto armado, lo cual se ha traducido en un elevado número de tragedias humanitarias, entre ellas, el desplazamiento forzado. Según la Agencia de la ONU para los Refugiados en Colombia se registraron oficialmente 5.185.406 personas desplazadas entre los años de 1997 y 2013, donde aproximadamente el 87% corresponde a víctimas del conflicto armado (Agencia de la ONU para los refugiados (ACNUR), 2014). Sin embargo, muy poco se sabe sobre la incidencia del desplazamiento forzado en el nivel educativo de los colombianos. Por lo tanto, el presente documento pretende, en primer lugar, hacer una contribución a la literatura que vincula el desplazamiento forzoso y la educación.
