Lung tumor is the first malignant tumor with the highest mortality, but only no more than one-third of patients can be treated by surgical resection. Microwave ablation (MWA) has become a new adjuvant therapeutic mean for lung tumors because of its low trauma, short treatment time, large ablation volume and wide application range. However, the treatment parameters of MWA, such as input power and ablation time, still depend on the doctors' experience, which leads to the ineffectiveness of MWA. Therefore, the accurate modeling of temperature distribution of lung tumor MWA has become a significant technical problem to be solved. Recent research was devoted to personalized characterization of lung tumor parameters, finite element analysis of temperature distribution in MWA and accurate ablation effect evaluation. Phosphate-solubilizing fungi have been successfully applied to the release of phosphorus from insoluble tricalcium phosphate. A phosphate-solubilizing fungi Penicillium aurantiogriseum was isolated and investigated the phosphorus solubilizing capacity under different carbon and nitrogen resources. The highest released phosphorus content reached 1000 mg/L in ammonium and sucrose conditions. Carbon resources did not limit the release of phosphorus by Penicillium aurantiogriseum. However, nitrate and urea significantly reduced the phosphorus release, which had a low phosphorus content (~780 mg/L). Glucose and ammonium were more efficient for fungal growth and organic acid secretion. Oxalic acid secreted by Penicillium aurantiogriseum dominated the release of phosphorus. The formed calcium oxalate promoted the dissolution of tricalcium phosphate. This study indicated that the effective utilization of Penicillium aurantiogriseum to dissolve tricalcium phosphate need to support more ammonium nitrogen.

Aspergillus niger (A. niger) and Penicillium chrysogenum (P. chrysogenum) can significantly promote the degradation of maize straw and phosphorus release. Compared with P. chrysogenum, A. niger is more efficient in maize straw degradation and phosphorus releasing. After seven days of incubation, the highest degradation ratio and phosphorus content in A. niger+maize straw treatment is 2.58% and 2.3 mg/L, respectively. The mechanisms for maize straw decomposition between these two fungi are different. Oxalic acid is the primary organic acid secreted by A. niger, which is more function in the decomposition of maize straw compared with propionic acid secreted by P. chrysogenum. In addition, A. niger has higher acidic xylanase and lignin peroxidase enzymes activities, which is conducive to the degradation of more stable substances in maize straw, i.e., lignin. This study indicated that A. niger is the primary candidate for the reuse of crop straw in the way of return to the field.

The structure design of the unmanned air vehicle(UAV) with multiple rotors is an important process for UAV development. The structure optimization design method is the key for flight safety and performance. A heavy-duty quad-rotor UAV is designed according to the performance requirements that is foldable, light weight, high strength and 10 kg’s effective payload. The finite element model of the quad-rotor structure is established. Static and buckling analysis of the UAV arm and central plate are carried out based on the actual loading cases. The layer structures of the arm and central plate are optimized. The strength, stiffness and stability of the UAV are verified. An UAV static test platform is built, and the structure static loading test is completed. Results show that compared with the initial layout of the layer structures, the weight of the arms drops by 43%, and the weight of the central plate drops by 35%. The weight of the UAV structure drops by 560 grams. The lowest weight requirement is achieved. The strain relative error between the test value and the analysis value is less than 15%. The reliability of the UAV finite element model and the optimized layer structures are verified.

Efficiency and mechanism of nitrogen removals by ecological concrete-based ecological systems (ECBESs) were investigated in this study. Results show that ECBES performed well on denitrification. Ecological concrete as matrix of the ecological was positive for nitrogen removing according to that the experimental ECBESs achieved a greater TN removal compared to the control system. This result was possibly attributable to a higher biomass and increased bacteria diversity in ECBESs, since ecological concrete could be a carrier of microorganism. Vegetation could further improve TN removals. Acorus calamus L. - ECBES, Ipomoea aquatica Forsk - ECBESs, Oenanthe javanica (Bl.) DC. - ECBES and Zizania aquatica - ECBES achieved an average TN removal of 67.87%, 81.93%, 76.18%, 66.22%, respectively, in a test cycle. Nitrogen transformation in the ECBESs indicated the occurrence of ammonification, nitrification and denitrification. Moreover, bacteria related to nitrogen transformation was identified from the bio-film immobilized on the ecological concrete.

Herein, a Fe3+-loaded aminated polypropylene fiber has been reported as an efficient phosphate adsorbent. The remarkable phosphate removal ability of the fiber is due to Fe3+ immobilization, and it demonstrates a maximum adsorption capacity of 33.94 mg·P·g−1. Adsorption experiments showed that the fiber is applicable over a wide pH range from 2 to 9. Furthermore, the adsorption kinetics and isotherm data were consistent with the pseudo-second-order and Langmuir adsorption models, respectively. The adsorption equilibrium of the fiber for phosphate was reached within 60 min, indicating an efficient monolayer chemisorption process. Moreover, the adsorbent maintained prominent phosphate removal in the presence of competitive ions such as NO3− and Cl−, exhibiting high selectivity. More importantly, the fiber demonstrated excellent reusability (5 times) and low adsorption limit below 0.02 mg·P·g−1. In addition, the phosphate removal efficiency of the fiber can exceed 99% under continuous flow conditions. The adsorption mechanism was studied by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, showing that the adsorption of phosphate on the fiber mainly depended on the chemical adsorption of the modified Fe3+. Overall, this study proves that the fiber possesses many advantages for phosphate removal, including high adsorption efficiency, lower treatment limit, good recyclability, and environmental friendliness.
