In order to solve the problem of cotton fiber lacking UV resistance, a water-soluble UV absorber was prepared from o-nitroaniline and 2-naphthol-6 sodium sulfonate hydrate and acted on cotton fabric to endow cotton fabric with UV resistance. O-nitroaniline was diazotized and coupled with 2-naphthol-6 sodium sulfonate hydrate to form 2-naphthol-7 sulfoazo-o-nitrobenzene intermediate. Then intermediate was reduced by a certain amount of basic sodium hydrosulfite to form a water-soluble benzotriazole ultraviolet absorber. As azo reaction is a classical reaction, the best reduction conditions of intermediates were studied by single factor experiments. The results show that the optimal reduction conditions are as follows; the molar ratio of sodium hydroxide to intermediates is 0.4:1, the molar ratio of sodium hydroxide to intermediates is 1.1:1, the reaction temperature was 30 °C, the reaction time was 1 h. The molar ratio of hydrochloric acid to intermediate is 2:1. The results show that the UV protection factor of the finished cotton fabric can reach 58.77, the wrinkle recovery angle can reach 92°, the breaking strength can reach 226 N, and the air permeability can reach 2 567 L / (m² s). The UV absorber prepared in this study is water-soluble and improves the absorption performance of benzotriazole ultraviolet absorber, which has good application value. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Herein, the poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) composite membranes blended with pineapple leaf nanocrystalline cellulose (PLNC) and g‐C3N4 for ultrafiltration were designed and fabricated via surface segregation during non‐solvent induced phase separation. The incorporation of PLNC and g‐C3N4 endows the PVDF composite membrane with a higher porosity, enhancing the pure water flux of PVDF/g‐C3N4/PLNC membrane by 256.75% compared to the PVDF membrane, while maintaining a higher water flux recoveries of 82.1%. Moreover, surface chemical compositions, surface and cross‐section morphologies, degree of crystallinity were also characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and X‐ray diffraction, respectively. The mechanical properties of the PVDF composite membranes were also investigated. All the above experimental data showed that the addition of PLNC and g‐C3N4 can greatly improve the performance of the PVDF membrane. In this paper, a new type of benzophenone ultraviolet absorbent was synthesized from 2, 4-dihydroxybenzophenone and N--hydroxyacrylamide in alkaline condition, and it was applied to the cotton fabric. The optimum finishing process was discussed through single factor experiments to make the finishing agent diffuse to the fiber better and combine with the fiber more firmly. Ultraviolet protection factor ( UPF) was measured to evaluate its anti-ultraviolet effect. The results show that the optimum finishing process for cotton fabrics is dyeing at 40 t, finishing agent 20% (owf), bath ratio 1 : 25, sodium chloride 18 g/L, magnesium chloride 16 g/L, reaction temperature 100 t, and the performance of the fabric: UPF 145. 53, breaking strength 253 N, wrinkle recovery angle 62. 83° and whiteness 80. 86%. Surface modification is an important element of textile manufacturing. The SiO2/Ag sol–gel was coated on the cotton/linen fabric by a simple two-dipping-two-rolling coating machine. SEM, Zeta-potential, (ATR)-FTIR and XRD, physical properties, water-droplet adsorption, antibacterial performance and water-resisting property have been adopted as the characterization techniques. The Zeta-potential showed that the nano-Ag particles affected the size of SiO2 nanoparticles. The results showed that antibacterial activity and hydrophobic property of cotton/linen fabric increased with the increasing concentration of the AgNO3. Air permeability was not decreased considerably, whereas tensile strength was increased significantly after coating twice. The SiO2/Ag coating cotton/linen fabric had an excellent antibacterial performance. Our results demonstrate that this SiO2/Ag coated cotton/linen fabric is a step towards better hydrophobic performance of textile materials. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

To study the influence of fenhexamid in pesticide residue to the human ovarian cancer BG-1 cell proliferation. Detecting the effectiveness of 17β-estradiol, fenhexamid and Fulvestrant to BG-1 cell proliferation by MTT, and detecting the expression levels of cyclin D1 and cyclin E by Western blot. Fenhexamid can promote BG-1 cell proliferation for its estrogen-like effect. On the other hand, it can help to improve the expression levels of cyclin D1 and cyclin E in BG-1 cells which is regulated by ER-dependent pathway. And 17β-estradiol is also regulated by the same way.
