Spinel materials are attractive to photocatalytic degradation of contaminants. In this study, strontium (Sr) doped spinel cobalt chromite (CoCr 2 O 4) was synthesized by solution combustion method and characterized using techniques such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR), and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). 30 -50 nm-cubic CoCr 2 O 4 nanocrystals were obtained, and phase transitions of CoO 6 →CoO 4 and CrO 4 →CrO 6 occurred as the Sr doping content increased until 0.6 % Sr doped sample displayed an inverse spinel phase. The modifications in composition and structure induced the co-existence of multivalent states for Co and Cr, which in turn changed the optical, complex impedance, and magnetic spin state of CoCr 2 O 4. The 0.6 % Sr-doped sample showed the highest photocatalytic efficiency of 93 % due to enhanced optical absorption, reduced energy band gap, oxygen vacancies formation, and a high spin state of Co. The XRD structure and photocatalytic activity remained stable even after five cycles without any leakage of metal elements. The degradation pathway and Mott-Schottky curves were employed to elucidate the mechanism behind this enhancement. Cuprous ions (Cu+) are essential for various biological activities. However, it is still a great challenge to detect Cu+ efficiently in cells in situ. As emerging 0‐D carbon photoluminescence nanomaterials, carbon dots (CDs) exhibit non‐toxicity and ultra stability, which shows great advantages in biosensing and bioimaging. In this work, CDs are prepared by a one‐step microwave‐assisted hydrothermal method. To enhance the selectivity and efficiency of the CDs‐based sensor, the NS4‐CDs are synthesized by surface modification of CDs using Cu+ chelating molecules. The NS4‐CDs, that carry specific detection molecules, exhibit remarkable selectivity and high sensitivity with an extraordinarily low detection limit (26 nmol L−1). It is noteworthy that the detection response is extremely fast, which only takes 20 s. The PL response mechanism of NS4‐CDs is also thoroughly investigated. In addition, the NS4‐CDs possess great biocompatibility and non‐cytotoxicity, which is vital for advanced cellular imaging applications. Finally, the NS4‐CDs are successfully applied to Cu+ detection in cells in situ. Resourceful and inexpensive seawater direct splitting omits the desalination process and effectively increases the efficiency of hydrogen energy generation. However, the development of seawater splitting is hampered by the competing selectivity challenges from anodic oxygen evolution reaction (OER) and chlorine evolution reaction and the issues of electrode corrosion. Herein, the borate anion‐intercalated NiV‐LDH nanoflakes/NiCoP nanowires heterostructures supported on Ni foam (2D/1D NiV‐BLDH/NiCoP/NF) is synthesized. Theoretical calculations show that a small amount of V atom doping in Ni(OH)2 is favorable for changing the electronic environment around Ni atoms via bridging Ni─O, which can construct Ni─O─V to accelerate electron transfer and promote catalytic activity. The borate anions (B(OH)4−) intercalation not only results in the good hydrophilicity and high OH− selectivity but also weakens the adsorption of chlorine (Cl−), which effectively restrains the chlorine evolution reaction. Thus, the component optimized NiV0.1‐BLDH/NiCoP/NF electrocatalyst only requires 268 mV overpotential to reach 100 mA cm−2 for OER in an alkaline environment. Particularly, the NiCoP/NF||NiV0.1‐BLDH/NiCoP/NF cell exhibits attractive overall water splitting performance with a low voltage of 1.46 and 1.53 V at 10 mA cm−2 in alkaline freshwater and alkaline seawater, respectively. The Ebola virus (EBOV) is a lethal pathogen causing hemorrhagic fever syndrome which remains a global health challenge. In the EBOV, two multifunctional proteins, VP35 and VP40, have significant roles in replication, virion assembly, and budding from the cell and have been identified as druggable targets. In this study, we employed in silico methods comprising molecular docking, molecular dynamic simulations, and pharmacological properties to identify prospective drugs for inhibiting VP35 and VP40 proteins from the myxobacterial bioactive natural product repertoire. Cystobactamid 934-2, Cystobactamid 919-1, and Cittilin A bound firmly to VP35. Meanwhile, 2-Hydroxysorangiadenosine, Enhypyrazinone B, and Sorangiadenosine showed strong binding to the matrix protein VP40. Molecular dynamic simulations revealed that, among these compounds, Cystobactamid 919-1 and 2-Hydroxysorangiadenosine had stable interactions with their respective targets. Similarly, molecular mechanics Poisson–Boltzmann surface area (MMPBSA) calculations indicated close-fitting receptor binding with VP35 or VP40. These two compounds also exhibited good pharmacological properties. In conclusion, we identified Cystobactamid 919-1 and 2-Hydroxysorangiadenosine as potential ligands for EBOV that target VP35 and VP40 proteins. The present study aims to provide a deep understanding of curved wedge water entry. It involves a numerical simulation investigation into the kinematic and dynamic properties of water entry for two curved wedges with deadrise angles of 25 ° and 35 °. The meshless Riemann-smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) model embedded with an acoustic damper is developed to simulate these violent water entries. The validation of the Riemann-SPH accuracy is confirmed through comparison with experimental data, and subsequently, we make a systematical simulation study on curved wedge water entry, including a comparative study of free surface evolution and pressure distribution at different curvatures and drop heights. Furthermore, the kinematics analysis of velocity and displacement of curved wedges and time domain characteristics of slamming pressure loads on both sides of the wedge are investigated. It is revealed that the pressure distribution is symmetrical, with high-pressure regions forming near the bottom of the wedge and gradually propagating outward. The free surface profiles are symmetrical, with deeper depressions formed by sharper wedges. The entry depth and velocity are correlated with the initial theoretical entry velocity, and the rate of speed decline varies with the curvature of the wedge. Digital twin requires establishing a self‐updated model to simulate the structural damage perceived onsite. Despite the great success in damage identification and quantification, the difficulty in registration still limits the efficiency of model updating. This study presented a framework that enables a finite element (FE) model of welded joints to remesh itself for updating the geometric changes caused by the fatigue crack. Leveraging the linear geometry of the weld, a crack registration algorithm was proposed for the automation of crack perception. First, a dual‐task network was established to identify the crack and weld on the 2D image, where the deep Hough transform was introduced to detect the positioning weld among the irregular structural geometry. With the time‐of‐flight technique, the crack was then reconstructed and quantified in the 3D camera coordinate system. Meanwhile, the 3D structure coordinate system was established from positioning welds. Through simple coordinate transformation, the fatigue crack was automatically registered to the welded joint. Finally, the perception algorithms were integrated with the FE model, taking about 1 min to map the crack into the model. Under laboratory tests, the perception performance was not sensitive to the camera pose. The perceived errors were mainly reflected in the crack local morphology, not leading to improper reconstruction of the structural stiffness matrix. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Species of Micropsalliota generally grow in the tropics and are characterised by small, slender basidiomes, brown basidiospores, and cheilocystidia that vary in shape with capitate or subcapitate apex, and pigmented pileipellis. Based on morphological characters and molecular evidence, here we describe seven new species from southern China, viz. Micropsalliota ferruginea, M. fimbriata, M. gigaspora, M. longicystis, M. nana, M. squarrosa, and M. umbonata. Micropsalliota appendiculata, a species recently described from Vietnam, was first recorded in China. The Maximum likelihood and Bayesian analyses based on multi-locus sequence datasets (the nuc rDNA internal transcribed spacer region ITS1-5.8S-ITS2, nrITS; the D1–D2 domains of nuc 28S rDNA, LSU; partial sequences of the most variable region of the second-largest subunit of RNA polymerase II, rpb2, and a portion of the translation-elongation factor 1-α, tef1) shows that the genus is separated into 11 major clades and subclades. Using event-related potentials (ERPs), this study examined the impact of reward expectations on working memory of emotional faces under different levels of cognitive load in a task combining the N-back paradigm and the reward expectation paradigm. The experiment involved presenting high- or low-reward cues followed by an N-back task for emotional faces with different loads. The accuracy results showed that under a high task load, both reward and emotion effects were significantly observed. However, these effects disappeared under a low task load. Analysis of the ERP data revealed that the early P2 and VPP components exhibited greater responses to fearful faces than to neutral faces. In the later stages, the P3 and LPP components showed greater reactions to high rewards than to low rewards. Additionally, the P2 component was found to be modulated by task load in relation to rewards, the EPN component demonstrated task load modulation with respect to emotions, and the N170 component showed an interaction effect between rewards and emotions. These findings imply that load regulates the reward effect and the emotional superiority effect in the process of working memory for emotional faces. In the cognitive processing of working memory, motivation and emotion jointly influence processing. It is a significant challenge to develop acidity probes suitable for use in extremely acidic conditions, especially to achieve real‐time on‐site detection. In this work, carbon dots (CDs) are synthesized on a gram‐scale under mild conditions using 3‐phenylpropionaldehyde as precursors. The CDs have excellent robustness, showing distinguished anti‐photobleaching and ionic stability. Dramatically, a visual transition of the fluorescent color of CDs from cyan to orange is observed when the concentration of H+ ([H+]) increased under high acidity conditions, owing to the generation of another emission peak in the red‐light region. Taking advantage of the optical properties, CDs are designed as a ratiometric sensing platform for the detection of extreme acidity. Furthermore, the platform for [H+] possesses high selectivity and excellent anti‐interference capability. In extremely acidic wastewater, I595 nm/I480 nm and [H+] maintain a very good linear relationship (R2 = 0.996). Moreover, a smartphone is employed to obtain the red‐green‐blue (RGB) values of the samples to realize hand‐held detection. By measuring the R/G, the platform exhibits ultrasensitive recognition of [H+] in the range of 1–9 mol L−1 with R2 of 0.992. In order to provide urban freight vehicles with navigation routes that better align with their travel preferences, it is necessary to analyze the patterns and characteristics of their route choices. This paper focuses on freight vehicles traveling within the city and examines their route selection behavior. Through an analysis of the GPS data collected from freight truck journeys in Changchun, China, this study outlines the characteristics of freight vehicle travel within the city. Variables that may influence their route selection behavior are defined as feature factors. The study employs the DBSCAN algorithm to identify the hotspots in origin–destination pairs for freight truck travel in Changchun. It also utilizes Breadth First Search Link Elimination to generate a set of route choices and constructs route selection behavior models based on Multinomial Logit and Path Size Logit. Based on the research findings, during navigation within the city road network, these vehicles exhibit a preference for side roads, a tendency to favor right turns at intersections, and a propensity to choose routes with lower duplication compared to alternative options. In order to explore new gallic acid derivatives with high antibacterial activity, we synthesize a series of new 1-(3,4,5-trihydroxybenzoyl)-4-(substituted benzoyl)thiosemicarbazide and evaluate their activities against Vibrio harveyi, Vibrio cholerae, Vibrio parahaemolyticus, and Vibrio vulnificus in vitro. Through the experiments, we found that compound 7d has the best inhibitory activity against V. harveyi and V. cholerae, the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) values were 0.0078 mg/mL and 0.0156 mg/mL; compound 7h has the best inhibitory activity against V. parahaemolyticus and V. vulnificus, with MIC values of 0.0313 mg/mL and 0.0625 mg/mL. The synthesis of low-cost and high-efficiency multicolour emitting graphene quantum dots (GQDs) is of utmost importance for their prospective applications. Lignin, a renewable biomass, contains aromatic compounds that are well-suited for the preparation of polycyclic aromatic GQDs. In this study, we successfully synthesized red, yellow, green, and blue light-emitting single-layered GQDs with high crystallization using hydrothermal methods, thereby covering the full spectrum of visible light. High-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) images revealed the presence of a two-dimensional crystal lattice with the 100 (0.21 nm) and 002 (0.24 nm) facets of graphite, indicating the high crystallization of the synthesized GQDs. Additionally, the average height of all GQDs was found to be below 1 nm, confirming their single-layered structure. This observation supports the notion that mono-benzene compounds tend to form fused polycyclic arenes under high pressure and temperature conditions. Moreover, by analyzing X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) and Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) spectra, we investigated the formation mechanism of GQDs derived from lignin at the molecular level. The cleavage of ether bonds, aldol condensation, benzylic acid rearrangement, and dehydration were identified as vital intermediate processes. Furthermore, we successfully demonstrated the application of multicolour-emitting GQDs derived from lignin in light-emitting diodes (LEDs). Background: Posthepatitic cirrhosis is one of the leading risk factors for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) worldwide, among which hepatitis B cirrhosis is the dominant one. This study explored whether laparoscopic splenectomy and azygoportal disconnection (LSD) can reduce the risk of HCC among patients with hepatitis B virus (HBV)-related cirrhotic portal hypertension (CPH). Methods: A total of 383 patients with HBV-related CPH diagnosed as gastroesophageal variceal bleeding and secondary hypersplenism were identified in our hepatobiliary pancreatic center between April 2012 and April 2022, and conducted an 11-year retrospective follow-up. We used inverse probability of treatment weighting (IPTW) to correct for potential confounders, weighted Kaplan–Meier curves, and logistic regression to estimate survival and risk differences. Results: Patients were divided into two groups based on treatment method: LSD (n = 230) and endoscopic therapy (ET; n = 153) groups. Whether it was processed through IPTW or not, LSD group showed a higher survival benefit than ET group according to Kaplan–Meier analysis (P < 0.001). The incidence density of HCC was higher in the ET group compared to LSD group at the end of follow-up [32.1/1000 vs 8.0/1000 person-years; Rate ratio: 3.998, 95% confidence intervals (CI) 1.928–8.293]. Additionally, in logistic regression analyses weighted by IPTW, LSD was an independent protective predictor of HCC incidence compared to ET (odds ratio 0.516, 95% CI 0.343–0.776; P = 0.002). Conclusion: Considering the ability of LSD to improve postoperative survival and prevent HCC in HBV-related CPH patients with gastroesophageal variceal bleeding and secondary hypersplenism, it is worth promoting in the context of the shortage of liver donors. To quantify self-esteem in patients with Hirayama disease (HD) and investigate the impact of this psychosocial factor on surgical outcomes in HD. The Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES) was measured in 58 patients with HD before anterior cervical fusion. These patients further underwent motor unit number estimation, handgrip strength, disabilities of the arm, shoulder and hand (DASH), Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI) and Beck Depression Index (BDI) before and 18 months after operation. Furthermore, the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) was administered to all patients at postoperative 18-month assessments. Compared with the general population, patients with HD showed a relatively lower RSES, and RSES was negatively associated with both postoperative DASH (r = −0.431, P < 0.05) and preoperative to postoperative changes (r = −0.295, P < 0.05) and positively associated with IPAQ (r = 0.472, P < 0.05). Similar to the difference in postoperative DASH scores, more patients with low self-esteem felt postoperative aggravated motor dysfunction than those with high/normal self-esteem (P < 0.05). Postoperative BDI exerted a partial mediating effect on the relationship between RSES and DASH scores (B = −0.30, P < 0.05), and postoperative BAI played a partial mediating effect on the relationship between RSES and IPAQ scores (B = 0.30, P < 0.05). The self-esteem of HD patients may be below the population norms. Importantly, relatively low self-esteem in HD patients may cause/worsen postoperative depression and anxiety, thereby resulting in poor self-reported surgical prognosis and an inactive lifestyle after operation. Therefore, perioperative treatment and rehabilitation efforts in HD patients, especially those with low self-esteem, should account for both physiological and psychological symptoms. Interleukin-33 (IL-33) is an inflammatory factor with an extensive range of biological effects and pleiotropic roles in diseases. Evidence suggests that IL-33 and its receptor ST2 play a pivotal role in chronic pain and itch at the level of primary sensory neurons, the spinal cord, and the brain. In this review, we outline an evolving understanding of the roles and mechanisms of IL-33 in chronic pathological pain, including inflammatory, neuropathic, and cancer, and chronic pruritus, such as allergic contact dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, and dry skin. Understanding the key roles of IL-33/ST2 signaling may provide exciting insights into the mechanisms of chronic pain and itch and lead to new clues for therapeutic approaches to the resolution of chronic pain and itch. The combined effect of obesity and metabolic abnormalities on liver injury is unclear. Aiming to address this knowledge gap, this cross-sectional study was conducted among 16,201 US adults. Multiple linear regression and logistic regression analyses were conducted to assess the associations of obesity profiles, metabolic health status, and weight change with the levels of liver enzymes. The analysis revealed that general obesity and abdominal obesity were positively associated with the levels of liver enzymes and the prevalence of abnormal liver enzymes (P and Ptrend < 0.05). The associations remained significant in both metabolically healthy and metabolically unhealthy subgroups. Additionally, the liver injury index levels of the metabolically unhealthy participants were higher than those of the metabolically healthy individuals within the non-obese, overweight/pre-abdominal obesity, and general/abdominal obesity subgroups (P and Ptrend < 0.05). Furthermore, the subgroup characterized by general/abdominal obesity and metabolic dysfunction exhibited the most robust association with the liver injury index compared to all other subgroups examined. In addition, positive associations were observed between the 1-year and 10-year weight changes and the levels of liver injury indicators (P and Ptrend < 0.05). In conclusion, this study demonstrates that both obesity and metabolic impairment are independently associated with liver injury, and their combined presence have an additional adverse effect on liver health. Hydrozoans are numerically dominant taxa in gelatinous zooplankton communities of the worldwide oceans and play an energy transfer role connecting primary producers and higher trophic level organisms. In the western subarctic Pacific, St. K2 has been established as a long-term time-series monitoring station. Various studies on zooplankton have been conducted, while hydrozoans have not been treated. This study presents the abundance, vertical distribution, and population structure of the dominant hydrozoan species (Aglantha digitale) at St. K2. Samples collected by vertical stratification samplings from eight layers of 0–1000 m both day and night during four seasons in one year. Hydrozoans occur throughout the year. The annual mean abundance of A. digitale was 198.4 ind. m−2 and composed of 91.9% of hydrozoans. The vertical distribution of A. digitale was concentrated for the epipelagic layer (0–200 m), both day and night of the most season. The bell height (BH) of A. digitale ranged between 2.4–18.9 mm. Most of the mature individuals, with gonad length larger than 10% of BH, occurred only in July. The BH of mature individuals ranged from 4.7 to 17.6 mm, with the BH of most mature individuals were larger than >10 mm. Through observation on BH at each sampling layer, small individuals with BH < 6 mm were distributed below 300 m depths throughout the seasons, expanding their vertical distribution to the deeper layers. Inter-region comparison of abundance, maturation body size, and generation length of A. digitale revealed that these parameters are varied with the region and depend on the marine ecosystem structures. Abstract GFRP-concrete-steel composite columns (GCS) are formed by combining different components with excellent mechanical properties. The GCS exhibits good corrosion resistance and can serve as a pile foundation platform for offshore wind turbines. An Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is utilized to swiftly predict the loading capacity of GCS columns with various geometrical parameters. The prediction error is primarily controlled within 10%. The thickness of GFRP tubes (tG ), the inner diameter of GFRP tubes (DG,i ), the thickness of steel tubes (ts ), the outer diameter of steel tubes (DS,o ), the strength of GFRP tubes (fG ), the strength of concrete (fC ), and the strength of steel tubes (fS ) were used as independent variables to determine the key factors affecting the loading capacity of GCS columns. The impact of the number of input variables on the final prediction accuracy is analyzed. The proportional influence of different parameters on the loading capacity of GCS column is investigated using the Garson algorithm, among which, the thickness of the GFRP tube (tG ) accounts for the largest proportion, approximately 24.57%. The suitability of the artificial neural network for predicting the loading capacity of GCS columns with various geometries is revealed. The results indicate that the ANN can be utilized for high-precision compressive strength prediction, and the thickness of the GFRP tube (tG ) is the most influential factor on the loading capacity of GCS columns. The translocation of Drp1 from the cytosol to mitochondria leads to Drp1 activation and mitochondrial fission in myocardial ischemia/reperfusion (MI/R). However, the molecular mechanism underlying mitochondrial Drp1 translocation remains poorly understood. Mitochondrial Drp1 recruitment relies on 4 binding partners including MiD49, MiD51, Mff and Fis1. This study was to elucidate which one facilitate mitochondrial Drp1 translocation and its role in MI/R injury. MI/R was induced by ligating the left anterior descending coronary artery for 30 min and subsequent reperfusion for 3 h. Primary neonatal cardiomyocytes were subjected to hypoxia for 2 h and reoxygenation for 4 h. SiRNA or Adeno-associated virus (AAV) expressing shRNA was used to knock down the key binding partner in vitro or in vivo respectively. The expression of MiD51 rather than other binding partners (MiD49, Mff or Fis1) was increased after MI/R. MiD51 knockdown inhibited hypoxia/reoxygenation (H/R) or ischemia/reperfusion (I/R)-induced mitochondrial Drp1 translocation. SiRNA-induced knockdown of MiD51 suppressed mitochondrial oxidative stress, improved mitochondrial function and alleviate cellular injury in H/R cardiomyocytes. AAV-mediated knockdown of MiD51 reduced myocardial injury and improved cardiac function in the I/R hearts, while mitochondrial Drp1 translocation and cardiac function were not affected by MiD51 knockdown in the hearts without I/R. MiD51 is identified as the binding partner that promotes mitochondrial Drp1 translocation and contributes to MI/R injury. Inhibition of MiD51 may be a potential therapeutic target to alleviate MI/R injury. Three-dimensional (3D) scene reconstruction plays an important role in digital cities, virtual reality, and simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM). In contrast to perspective images, a single panoramic image can contain the complete scene information because of the wide field of view. The extraction and matching of image feature points is a critical and difficult part of 3D scene reconstruction using panoramic images. We attempted to solve this problem using convolutional neural networks (CNNs). Compared with traditional feature extraction and matching algorithms, the SuperPoint (SP) and SuperGlue (SG) algorithms have advantages for handling images with distortions. However, the rich content of panoramic images leads to a significant disadvantage of these algorithms with regard to time loss. To address this problem, we introduce the Improved Cube Projection Model: First, the panoramic image is projected into split-frame perspective images with significant overlap in six directions. Second, the SP and SG algorithms are used to process the six split-frame images in parallel for feature extraction and matching. Finally, matching points are mapped back to the panoramic image through coordinate inverse mapping. Experimental results in multiple environments indicated that the algorithm can not only guarantee the number of feature points extracted and the accuracy of feature point extraction but can also significantly reduce the computation time compared to other commonly used algorithms. The passivation behavior of selective laser melting 316L stainless steel (SLM 316L SS) on different building planes is studied in 3.5% NaCl solution. The results show that the XOZ and YOZ planes have a semicircular molten pool structure, and the XOY plane shows a columnar molten pool structure. Meanwhile, the XOZ planes have relatively smaller grain sizes and higher low‐angle grain boundaries (LAGBs) proportionate than that of YOZ and XOY planes. The electrochemical testing results illustrate that the XOZ plane has a lower corrosion tendency than that of YOZ and XOY planes, as the thicker passive film with higher content of Cr2O3 is detected on the XOZ plane. The XOZ plane, which has a higher Crox + hy/(Feox + hy + Crox + hy) ratio, has excellent passivation performance and better electrochemical properties than the other two planes. A novel compact ultra-broadband-modified fork-shaped printed antenna is optimized efficiently by using a self-adaptive hybrid differential evolution (SHDE) algorithm. Firstly, a novel compact ultra-broadband-modified fork-shaped printed antenna structure is proposed. The antenna with more compact size consists of a modified fork-shaped radiator and a modified ground plane, which can cover a very wide operating frequency band. The antenna is fed by a step-shaped microstrip line, and the modified ground plane consists of some rectangular slots and an L-shaped stub. Then, the SHDE algorithm is used to determine structural dimensions of the proposed antenna, and the antenna's performance is optimized while maintaining a cost-effective computation time. The optimized antenna with only 11.8 mm × 19.7 mm size covers -10 dB reflection coefficient bandwidth of 147.6% from 3.08 to 20.46 GHz. Finally, the antenna prototype is fabricated, and the measured results basically agree with the simulated ones. Background: Liver cirrhosis is the highest risk factor for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) worldwide. However, etiological therapy is the only option in cirrhosis patients to decrease the HCC risk. The aim of this study was to explore whether laparoscopic splenectomy and azygoportal disconnection (LSD) decreases the risk of HCC for patients with cirrhotic portal hypertension (CPH). Methods: Between April 2012 and April 2021, we identified 595 CPH patients in our hepatobiliary pancreatic center who were diagnosed with gastroesophageal variceal bleeding and secondary hypersplenism, and performed a 10-year retrospective follow-up. Inverse probability of treatment weighting (IPTW) was used to adjust for potential confounders, weighted Kaplan–Meier curves and logistic regression to estimate survival and risk differences. Results: According to the method of therapy, patients were divided into LSD (n = 345) and endoscopic therapy (ET; n = 250) groups. Kaplan–Meier analysis revealed that patients who underwent LSD had higher survival benefit with those who underwent ET (P < 0.001). At the end of the follow-up, ET group was associated with a higher HCC incidence density compared with LSD group (28.1/1000 vs 9.6/1000 person-years; Rate ratio [RR] 2.922, 95% confidence intervals [CI] 1.599–5.338). In addition, logistic regression analyses weighted by IPTW revealed that, compared with ET, LSD was an independent protective predictor of HCC incidence (odds ratio [OR] 0.440, 95% CI 0.316–0.612; P < 0.001). Conclusions: Considering the better postoperative survival and the ability to prevent HCC in CPH patients with gastroesophageal variceal bleeding and secondary hypersplenism, LSD is worth popularization in situations where liver donors are scarce. In order to achieve sustainable development goals, China has further increased its goal of reducing carbon intensity and has made digitalization an important support for sustainable development. However, the impact of digitalization on carbon intensity reduction is still unclear. In this context, this paper first evaluates the digitalization level of 30 provincial regions in China and then constructs a spatial Durbin model for two stages, 2012–2015 and 2016–2019, so as to explore the spatial spillover effects of carbon intensity in different stages and the important roles of digital infrastructure and digital inputs in carbon intensity reduction. The main findings are as follows: (1) the current digitization level of each province in China is widely disparate, with the region showing a high level in the east and a low level in the west; (2) carbon intensity reduction has a significant spatial spillover effect, as shown by a 1% reduction in local carbon intensity and a 0.21% reduction in neighboring regions; and (3) digitalization has a more significant positive impact on the reduction in carbon intensity in stage 2. Recent laboratory findings have demonstrated that, when imposed separately, punishment and reward have different effects on motor learning. In real-world applications, however, they are usually used in combination to improve human behavior. For instance, a student may be punished when failing an examination and rewarded when getting a high score. It remains unclear precisely how people are motivated when punishment and reward are combined. Moreover, whether it is possible for the effects of punishment and reward to transfer to other learning situations remains unknown. In the present study, four groups of participants were trained on a motor adaptation task under conditions of either punishment, reward, both punishment and reward combination, or a neutral control condition (neither). We tested what the effect of combining punishment and reward is on motor learning and memory. Further, we examined whether the effect could transfer to later opposite-direction learning in the absence of motivational feedback. Specifically, during the initial learning when there is motivational feedback, combining punishment and reward can not only accelerate learning rate, but can also increase learning extent. More interestingly, the effect can even transfer to later opposite-direction learning. The findings suggest that the combination of punishment and reward has a distinct advantage over pure punishment or reward on motor learning and the effect can transfer to opposite motor learning. Spontaneous low-frequency oscillations (LFOs) have been widely studied in cerebrovascular disease, but little is known about their role in moyamoya disease (MMD). The objective of this study was to assess the value of spontaneous LFOs in MMD based on wavelet analysis of near-infrared spectroscopy signals. Sixty-four consecutive idiopathic adult patients were prospectively enrolled. The regional tissue oxygenation index (TOI) obtained from continuous near-infrared spectroscopy signals. Five frequency intervals of spontaneous LFOs (I, 0.0095–0.02 Hz; II, 0.02–0.06 Hz; III, 0.06–0.15 Hz; IV, 0.15–0.40 Hz; and V, 0.40–2.00 Hz) were extracted based on wavelet analysis. The data were compared between the patients and healthy control groups. Clinical features, cognitive function, and disease progression of MMD were analyzed using TOI and frequency interval data. Compared with the healthy control group, patients with MMD had a higher cerebral TOI in both hemispheres. Based on wavelet analysis, the spontaneous LFO of TOI was found to be significantly lower for patients with MMD in frequency intervals II to IV than that for the controls. The spontaneous LFO of TOI is also related to the Suzuki stages in intervals II to IV, stroke in interval III, and cognitive impairment in intervals III to Ⅳ. There were significant differences in spontaneous LFO between patients with MMD and healthy controls. The change in spontaneous LFO in MMD is related to Suzuki stage, cerebral infarction, and cognitive impairment. Hydraulic rock drills are widely used in drilling, mining, construction, and engineering applications. They typically operate in harsh environments with high humidity, large temperature differences, and vibration. Under the influence of environmental noise and operational patterns, the distributions of data collected by sensors for different operators and equipment differ significantly, which leads to difficulty in fault classification for hydraulic rock drills. Therefore, an intelligent and robust fault classification method is highly desired. In this paper, we propose a fault classification technique for hydraulic rock drills based on deep learning. First, considering the strong robustness of x−vectors to the features extracted from the time series, we employ an end−to−end fault classification model based on x−vectors to realize the joint optimization of feature extraction and classification. Second, the overlapping data clipping method is applied during the training process, which further improves the robustness of our model. Finally, the focal loss is used to focus on difficult samples, which improves their classification accuracy. Nanozyme has been one of the most promising artificial enzymes for substitute natural enzymes. The main research focus in this field is developing the nanozymes with high activity, sensitivity and stability. In this paper, prussian blue/polyacrylonitrile (PB/PAN) composite nanofiber was prepared by electrospinning which was calcined to obtain iron oxide/carbon (FeOx/C) composite nanozyme. The structure of the prepared FeOx/C nanozyme was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffractometer (XRD), Energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS) and X-ray photoelectron spectra (XPS). The results revealed that FeOx/C nanozyme containing the catalytic active species of γ-Fe2O3 possessed peroxidase-like catalytic activity. The catalytic activity of prepared nanozyme which was influenced by different content of PB and different calcination temperatures was investigated. The optimal PB content in the PB/PAN nanofiber and calcination temperature were 41.5% and 600 °C in this research. The prepared FeOx/C nanozyme possessed highly sensitive detection of ascorbic acid. Background: The study aimed to compare efficacy and safety of various immune checkpoint inhibitors for patients with advanced or metastatic esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC).Methods: We searched Medline, Web of Science, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, Embase, Clinical Trials.gov and several international conference databases from January 1, 2000 to December 19, 2021. We conducted Bayesian network meta-analysis to assess the relative effects among treatments. Outcomes included overall survival (OS), progression-free survival (PFS), overall response rate and adverse events.Results: Ten eligible trials with 5250 patients were included. Toripalimab and Camrelizumab plus chemotherapy were preferred to rank first on OS (probability, 61%) and PFS (probability, 37%) in the first-line setting, respectively. In refractory patients, Sintilimab and Camrlizumab were most likely to be ranked first on OS (probability, 37%) and PFS (probability, 94%). The toxicity related to immunotherapy was manageable in clinical trials. Camrelizumab and Nivolumab had the less adverse events of grade 3 or higher in the first and refractory setting, respectively.Conclusions: This study found that Toripalimab and Camrelizumab plus chemotherapy were likely to be the best option in terms of OS and PFS in the first-line setting for patients with advanced or metastatic ESCC respectively. Sintilimab and Camrelizumab were the preferred options for OS and PFS in refractory patients respectively. In this paper, by identifying the internal parameters of the battery model at different temperatures and SOCs of the lithium-ion battery, the specific factors that affect the change of the parameters are analyzed, the segmentation basis of the model and the fitting method of related parameters are discussed, the second-order equivalent circuit model of the lithium-ion battery whose parameters vary with SOC and temperature is established, the unscented Kalman filter (UKF) is used to estimate the SOC of the lithium-ion battery, and an improved SOC estimation method based on optimized equivalent circuit model is proposed. Berberine hydrochloride is the main effective component of Coptis spp. used in Chinese herbal medicine and its underlying molecular mechanisms, responsible for inducing effects in crustacean species, are not fully understood. In this study, the molecular response of the crab Charybdis japonica to berberine hydrochloride exposure was studied using transcriptome sequencing. The survival rate, gene expression and activities of several immune enzymes were measured after berberine hydrochloride treatments, with or without injection of the pathogenic bacterium Aeromonas hydrophila. A total of 962 differentially expressed genes (464 up-regulated and 498 down-regulated) were observed during exposure to 100 mg/L of berberine hydrochloride and in the control group after 48 h. Enrichment analysis revealed that these genes are involved in metabolism, cellular processes, signal transduction and immune functions, indicating that exposure to berberine hydrochloride activated the immune complement system. This bioactive compound simultaneously activated fibrinogen beta (FGB), fibrinogen alpha (FGA), alpha-2-macroglobulin (A2M), kininogen (KNG), fibrinogen gamma chain (FGB), alpha-2-HS-glycoprotein (AHSG), caspase-8 (CASP8), cathepsin L (CTSL), adenylate cyclase 3 (Adcy3) and MMP1. Its action could significantly increase the survival rate of the crabs injected with A. hydrophila and promote the activity of LZM, Caspas8, FGA, ACP and AKP in the hepatopancreas. When A. hydrophila was added, the neutralization of 300 mg/L berberine hydrochloride maximized the activities of Caspas8, LZM, ACP and AKP. To reduce the waste of energy in communications, unequal error protection (UEP) is used to provide asymmetric protection for messages with different levels of importance. This paper proposes new efficient strategies of UEP based on bilayer protograph-based low-density parity check (PLDPC) codes in decoding-and-forward (DF) relay systems. In particular, we jointly utilize source coding and channel coding to design UEP strategies and then save transmission energy. According to the different levels of importance of discrete cosine transform (DCT) coefficients of image and variance statistical characteristics of image sub-blocks, bilayer-lengthened PLDPC codes are exploited to protect the transmitted image information with different importance levels at the half-duplex relay system. In the end, the simulation result shows that the proposed UEP schemes achieve excellent performance gains compared to conventional equal error protection (EEP) scheme. With the diversification of electronic devices and the complexity of application scenarios, how to provide the required power to various electronic devices has become an urgent problem in the field of wireless power transfer (WPT). The multiple-input multiple-output wireless power transfer (MIMO-WPT) system is a viable solution to this problem by providing power to multiple receiving loads simultaneously. Aiming at the different power requirements of multiple receiving loads in multiple-input/multiple-output (MIMO) radio energy transmission system, this paper proposes a power allocation method with the optimization goal of minimizing power allocation error and maximizing efficiency, and verifies the feasibility of the method through simulation experiments. The results show that the system can allocate power according to the different power requirements of each load, the maximum allocation error is not more than 2.75%, and the maximum transfer efficiency reaches 74.4%. The optimal power allocation method proposed in this paper provides an effective solution to the problem of different power requirements of multiple receiving loads in MIMO-MCRWPT systems, which can achieve transfer efficiency optimization with minimum power allocation error. Electroplating sludge is a product of the purification of the electroplating wastewater by neutralization or flocculation precipitation, which belongs to dangerous solid waste. In the study, copper, nickel, zinc and iron from electroplating sludge were recovered by an innovative sulfidation roasting-flotation-magnetic separation technology. The effects of the crucial parameters on the sulfidation ratio of copper and nickel and the volatilization ratio of zinc during the sulfidation roasting were investigated. Under the optimal condition of the sulfidation roasting, the volatilization ratio of zinc reached 78.10 % and the sulfidation ratios of copper and nickel were 88.55 % and 97.86 %, respectively. The migration rule of valuable metals in the roasting process were illustrated by XRD and SEM-EDS. By the flotation treatment for the roasting products, copper-nickel mixed concentrates containing copper 2.377 % and nickel 10.28 % were obtained, and the recoveries of copper and nickel reached 83.73 % and 85.00 %, respectively. After treatment by the flotation, magnetic separation was carried out to obtain iron concentrate with iron grade and recovery of 73.77 % and 12.41 %. Finally, the toxicity characteristic leaching procedure was employed to prove the excellent stability of the heavy metals in the tailing. The study realized the efficient, comprehensive recovery of copper, nickel, zinc and iron from electroplating sludge, and provided a new idea for the harmless and resource utilization of electroplating sludge. Transplantation of exosomes is an encouraging regenerative medicine method that has the potential for restoring ovarian functions post-POI with high efficiency. To exclude the interference effect of nonspecific precipitation substances, UCMSCs were treated with RNase A or RNase A in combination with Triton X-100. Granulosa cell (GC) identification was performed using immunofluorescence. GC proliferation and viability were assessed using 5-ethynyl-2 ′ -deoxyuridine (EdU) assays and Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK-8), and GC apoptosis was calculated by flow cytometry. Ecosystem CO 2 –H 2 O data measured by infrared gas analyzers in open-path eddy-covariance (OPEC) systems have numerous applications, such as estimations of CO 2 and H 2 O fluxes in the atmospheric boundary layer. To assess the applicability of the data for these estimations, data uncertainties from analyzer measurements are needed. The uncertainties are sourced from the analyzers in zero drift, gain drift, cross-sensitivity, and precision variability. These four uncertainty sources are individually specified for analyzer performance, but so far no methodology exists yet to combine these individual sources into a composite uncertainty for the specification of an overall accuracy, which is ultimately needed. Using the methodology for closed-path eddy-covariance systems, this overall accuracy for OPEC systems is determined from all individual uncertainties via an accuracy model and further formulated into CO 2 and H 2 O accuracy equations. Based on atmospheric physics and the biological environment, for EC150 infrared CO 2 –H 2 O analyzers, these equations are used to evaluate CO 2 accuracy (±1.22 mgCO 2 m -3 , relatively ±0.19 %) and H 2 O accuracy (±0.10 gH 2 O m -3 , relatively ±0.18 % in saturated air at 35 ∘ C and 101.325 kPa). Both accuracies are applied to conceptual models addressing their roles in uncertainty analyses for CO 2 and H 2 O fluxes. For the high-frequency air temperature derived from H 2 O density along with sonic temperature and atmospheric pressure, the role of H 2 O accuracy in its uncertainty is similarly addressed. Among the four uncertainty sources, cross-sensitivity and precision variability are minor, although unavoidable, uncertainties, whereas zero drift and gain drift are major uncertainties but are minimizable via corresponding zero and span procedures during field maintenance. The accuracy equations provide rationales to assess and guide the procedures. For the atmospheric background CO 2 concentration, CO 2 zero and CO 2 span procedures can narrow the CO 2 accuracy range by 40 %, from ±1.22 to ±0.72 mgCO 2 m -3. In hot and humid weather, H 2 O gain drift potentially adds more to the H 2 O measurement uncertainty, which requires more attention. If H 2 O zero and H 2 O span procedures can be performed practically from 5 to 35 ∘ C, the H 2 O accuracy can be improved by at least 30 %: from ±0.10 to ±0.07 gH 2 O m -3. Under freezing conditions, the H 2 O span procedure is impractical but can be neglected because of its trivial contributions to the overall uncertainty. Accurate individual tree segmentation (ITS) is fundamental to forest management and to the studies of forest ecosystem. Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Light Detection and Ranging (UAV-LiDAR) shows advantages for ITS and tree height estimation at stand and landscape scale. However, dense deciduous forests with tightly interlocked tree crowns challenge the performance for ITS. Available LiDAR points through tree crown and appropriate algorithm are expected to attack the problem. In this study, a new UAV-LiDAR dataset that fused leaf-off and leaf-on point cloud (FULD) was introduced to assess the synergetic benefits for ITS and tree height estimation by comparing different types of segmentation algorithms (i.e., watershed segmentation, point cloud segmentation and layer stacking segmentation) in the dense deciduous forests of Northeast China. Field validation was conducted in the four typical stands, including mixed broadleaved forest (MBF), Mongolian oak forest (MOF), mixed broadleaf-conifer forest (MBCF) and larch plantation forest (LPF). The results showed that the combination of FULD and the layer stacking segmentation (LSS) algorithm produced the highest accuracies across all forest types (F-score: 0.70 to 0.85). The FULD also showed a better performance on tree height estimation, with a root mean square error (RMSE) of 1.54 m at individual level. Compared with using the leaf-on dataset solely, the RMSE of tree height estimation was reduced by 0.22 to 0.27 m, and 12.3% more trees were correctly segmented by the FULD, which are mainly contributed by improved detection rate at nearly all DBH levels and by improved detection accuracy at low DBH levels. The improvements are attributed to abundant points from the bole to the treetop of FULD, as well as each layer point being included for segmentation by LSS algorithm. The bonded shear performance of CFRP-reinforced steel structures following continuous high-temperature natural cooling was investigated experimentally, and 30 CFRP-steel specimens were subjected to single-shear tensile testing. In analyzing the shear stress-displacement relationship in each working condition, the equation for the coupling effect of the heating temperature and duration on the ultimate shear stress was proposed. The results show that the ultimate shear stress at the CFRP-steel interface tends to decrease with the increase of heating temperature, and the ultimate shear stress at the heating temperature of 300°C is 32.37% of that at 25°C. The high-temperature duration has an obvious influence on the bonding performance of the CFRP-steel interface, and the CFRP-steel specimens fail when the heating temperature is 300°C and lasts for 120 min. Here, we report an anisotropic giant magnetoresistance (GMR) effect and de Hass–van Alphen (dHvA) oscillation phenomena in nominal TaNiTe5 single crystals. TaNiTe5 exhibits the GMR effect with the maximum value of ∼3 × 103% at T = 1.7 K and B = 31 T, with no sign of saturation. The two-band model fitting of Hall resistivity indicates that the anomalous GMR effect was derived from the coexistence of electron and hole carriers. When the external magnetic field is applied to the electron–hole resonance, the GMR effect is enhanced. The dHvA oscillation data at multiple frequencies reveal the topological characteristics of high carrier mobility, low carrier effective mass, and a small Fermi surface pocket with a nontrivial Berry phase. Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a common endocrinopathy related to female infertility. We investigated the function of the microRNA-98-3p (miR-98-3p)/Yin-Yang-1 (YY1) axis to the pathophysiological processes in PCOS mice. A mouse model of PCOS was established using dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA). Hematoxylin and eosin (HE) staining was used to assess morphologic changes of the ovaries. Hormonal serum levels were measured by ELISA. Estrogen synthesis in OGCs was measured using chemiluminescence immunoassay. The viability, cell cycle, and apoptosis of ovarian granulosa cells (OGCs) were assessed by CCK-8, flow cytometry, and western blot. Luciferase reporter assays were conducted to examine the binding of miR-98-3p to YY1. YY1 was upregulated, while miR-98-3p was downregulated both in the ovarian tissues of PCOS mice and OGCs separated from PCOS mice and patients. YY1 Knockdown promoted OGC proliferation and inhibited apoptosis as well as increased estrogen production in OGCs. YY1 was verified to be targeted by miR-98-3p. Additionally, YY1 overexpression prevented the effects of miR-98-3p overexpression on the proliferation and apoptosis of OGCs. Importantly, miR-98-3p attenuated ovarian injury in PCOS mice. Simple Summary: Ectropis obliqua is a destructive leaf-eating pest that is widely distributed in China's tea gardens. This pest shows remarkable resistance against multiple insecticides. As an environmentally friendly entomopathogen, Beauveria bassiana has been widely used to prevent agricultural pest infestations. However, the molecular mechanism of B. bassiana against E. obliqua remains unclear. We firstly isolated and identified a highly virulent B. bassiana strain. Using a transcriptome, we analyzed the differences of immune gene expression levels in fat bodies and hemocytes of E. obliqua that were infected by the B. bassiana, which provide molecular insights into the insect–pathogen interaction. Ectropis obliqua is a destructive masticatory pest in China's tea gardens. Beauveria bassiana as microbial insecticides can effectively control E. obliqua larvae; however, the immune response of this insect infected by B. bassiana are largely unknown. Here, after isolating a highly virulent strain of B. bassiana from E. obliqua, the changes in gene expression among different tissues, including hemocytes and fat bodies, of E. obliqua larvae infected by the entomopathogen were investigated using transcriptome sequencing. A total of 5877 co-expressed differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were identified in hemocytes and fat bodies, of which 5826 were up-regulated in hemocytes and 5784 were up-regulated in fat bodies. We identified 249 immunity-related genes, including pattern recognition receptors, immune effectors, signal modulators, and members of immune pathways. A quantitative real-time PCR analysis confirmed that several pattern recognition receptors were upregulated in hemocytes and fat bodies; however, others were downregulated. The investigated immune effectors (ATT and PPO-1) were suppressed. The results showed that there were tissue differences in the expression of immune genes. This study provides a large number of immunity-related gene sequences from E. obliqua after being infected by B. bassiana, furthering the understanding of the molecular mechanisms of E. obliqua defenses against B. bassiana. Nuclear factor (NF)-κB signaling is not only important for the immune and inflammatory responses but also for the normal development of epithelial cells, such as those in the skin and tooth. Here, we generated epithelial cell-specific p65 -deficient (p65 Δepi−/− ) mice to analyze the roles of NF-κB signaling in epithelial cell developent. Notably, p65 Δepi−/− mice exhibited no abnormalities in their appearance compared to the control (p65 flox/flox ) littermates. Furthermore, no major changes were observed in the skin, hair growth, and shape and color of the incisors and molars. However, 65 % of p65 Δepi−/− mice exhibited corneal thickening after 8 weeks of age, and 30 % of p65 Δepi−/− mice exhibited hair growth from the mandibular incisors around 24 weeks of age. No hair growth was observed at 36 and 42 weeks of age. However, micro-computed tomography images revealed a large cavity below the mandibular incisors extending to the root of the incisor. Histological analysis revealed that the cavity was occupied by a connective tissue containing hair-like structures with many dark brown granules that disappeared after melanin bleaching, confirming the presence of hair. Although inflammatory cells were also observed near the eruption site of the incisor teeth of p65 Δepi−/− mice, no major disturbance was observed in the arrangement of enamel epithelial cells. This study aimed to research the effects of enzyme and ultrasound combined modification on the structure and gel properties of soy protein isolate (SPI). Different modified protein samples were obtained by hydrolyzing soy isolate with alkaline protease and pepsin at 0%, 0.1%, 0.5%, and 1.0% of hydrolysis by ultrasound treatment (400 W, 20 min). The results showed that the SPI particle size, which modified by combined enzyme and ultrasound treatment (co-modified), was significantly lower (P < 0.05) and the particle size was more evenly distributed compared with those of the single modified samples. The best improvement in solubility and turbidity was observed for the co-modified SPI. The Fourier transform–infrared spectroscopy showed the most significant changes in the secondary structure content of the co-modified SPI. The protein structure was unfolded, and the contents of free sulfhydryl and H 0 were improved. Additionally, the co-modified SPI gel had a uniform and compact gel network and higher water-holding capacity (WHC) and gel strength. After frozen storage, the combined enzyme and ultrasound treatment showed better frozen storage stability than single treatment: the WHC of the gel decreased slightly, the gel strength increased slowly, and the gel network was less damaged. Vision Transformer (ViT) has performed remarkably in various computer vision tasks. Nonetheless, affected by the massive amount of parameters, ViT usually suffers from serious overfitting problems with a relatively limited number of training samples. In addition, ViT generally demands heavy computing resources, which limit its deployment on resource-constrained devices. As a type of model-compression method, model binarization is potentially a good choice to solve the above problems. Compared with the full-precision one, the model with the binarization method replaces complex tensor multiplication with simple bit-wise binary operations and represents full-precision model parameters and activations with only 1-bit ones, which potentially solves the problem of model size and computational complexity, respectively. In this paper, we investigate a binarized ViT model. Empirically, we observe that the existing binarization technology designed for Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) cannot migrate well to a ViT's binarization task. We also find that the decline of the accuracy of the binary ViT model is mainly due to the information loss of the Attention module and the Value vector. Therefore, we propose a novel model binarization technique, called G roup S uperposition B inarization (GSB), to deal with these issues. Furthermore, in order to further improve the performance of the binarization model, we have investigated the gradient calculation procedure in the binarization process and derived more proper gradient calculation equations for GSB to reduce the influence of gradient mismatch. Then, the knowledge distillation technique is introduced to alleviate the performance degradation caused by model binarization. Analytically, model binarization can limit the parameter's search space during parameter updates while training a model. Therefore, the binarization process can actually play an implicit regularization role and help solve the problem of overfitting in the case of insufficient training data. Experiments on three datasets with limited numbers of training samples demonstrate that the proposed GSB model achieves state-of-the-art performance among the binary quantization schemes and exceeds its full-precision counterpart on some indicators. Magnetic nanoparticles with increasing superparamagnetism and magnetic targeting have found widespread application in fields such as food and medicine. In this study, polycarboxylated magnetic nanoparticles (Fe 3 O 4 @SiO 2 @CS-COOH) were prepared by surface functionalizing iron tetraoxide (Fe 3 O 4) nanoparticles with ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) as a modifier. The appropriate degree of functionalization modification was obtained by adjusting the EDTA concentration and the ratio of cross-linking agents. The prepared magnetic nanoparticles were analyzed with structural and property characterization. The results showed that the Fe 3 O 4 @SiO 2 @CS-COOH magnetic nanoparticles prepared with 4 % EDTA and cross-linking agents at a molar ratio of 3:4 were uniform in particle size, with an average size of roughly 7 nm, and possessed an abundant carboxylate content (310.8064 μmol/g) and a high magnetization intensity (35.05 emu/g). As a model protein, bovine serum albumin (BSA) was immobilized on the surface of magnetic particles. The largest amount of immobilized protein was 500.4376 mg BSA/g at pH 4.0 and no extra salt ions. According to molecular docking simulations, its immobilization was due to the interaction of amino and carboxyl groups at the Fe 3 O 4 @SiO 2 @CS-COOH/BSA interface. Fe 3 O 4 @SiO 2 @CS-COOH possesses a large number of carboxyl groups, strong protein immobilization, and magnetic responsiveness, which may have potential applications in biomedical and food fields. [Display omitted] Autophagy is a ubiquitous pathological/physiological antioxidant cellular reaction in eukaryotic cells. Vacuolar protein sorting 34 (Vps34 or PIK3C3), which plays a crucial role in autophagy, has received much attention. As the only Class III phosphatidylinositol-3 kinase in mammals, Vps34 participates in vesicular transport, nutrient signaling and autophagy. Dysfunctionality of Vps34 induces carcinogenesis, and abnormal autophagy mediated by dysfunction of Vps34 is closely related to the pathological progression of various human diseases, which makes Vps34 a novel target for tumor immunotherapy. In this review, we summarize the molecular mechanisms underlying macroautophagy, and further discuss the structure–activity relationship of Vps34 inhibitors that have been reported in the past decade as well as their potential roles in anticancer immunotherapy to better understand the antitumor mechanism underlying the effects of these inhibitors. Air temperature (T) plays a fundamental role in many aspects of the flux exchanges between the atmosphere and ecosystems. Additionally, knowing where (in relation to other essential measurements) and at what frequency T must be measured is critical to accurately describing such exchanges. In closed-path eddy-covariance (CPEC) flux systems, T can be computed from the sonic temperature (Ts) and water vapor mixing ratio that are measured by the fast-response sensors of a three-dimensional sonic anemometer and infrared CO2 – H2O analyzer, respectively. T is then computed by use of either T=Ts1+0.51q-1 , where q is specific humidity, or T=Ts1+0.32e/P-1 , where e is water vapor pressure and P is atmospheric pressure. Converting q and e/P into the same water vapor mixing ratio analytically reveals the difference between these two equations. This difference in a CPEC system could reach ± 0.18 K, bringing an uncertainty into the accuracy of T from both equations and raising the question of which equation is better. To clarify the uncertainty and to answer this question, the derivation of T equations in terms of Ts and H 2 O-related variables is thoroughly studied. The two equations above were developed with approximations; therefore, neither of their accuracies was evaluated, nor was the question answered. Based on first principles, this study derives the T equation in terms of Ts and the water vapor molar mixing ratio (χH2O) without any assumption and approximation. Thus, this equation inherently lacks error, and the accuracy in T from this equation (equation-computed T) depends solely on the measurement accuracies of Ts and χH2O. Based on current specifications for Ts and χH2O in the CPEC300 series, and given their maximized measurement uncertainties, the accuracy in equation-computed T is specified within ± 1.01 K. This accuracy uncertainty is propagated mainly (± 1.00 K) from the uncertainty in Ts measurements and a little (± 0.02 K) from the uncertainty in χH2O measurements. An improvement in measurement technologies, particularly for Ts , would be a key to narrowing this accuracy range. Under normal sensor and weather conditions, the specified accuracy range is overestimated, and actual accuracy is better. Equation-computed T has a frequency response equivalent to high-frequency Ts and is insensitive to solar contamination during measurements. Synchronized at a temporal scale of the measurement frequency and matched at a spatial scale of measurement volume with all aerodynamic and thermodynamic variables, this T has advanced merits in boundary-layer meteorology and applied meteorology. Aimed at different demands of power of multiple receiver loads in multiple-input multiple-output wireless power transfer (MIMO-WPT) system, in the paper, a method of calculating the excitation source at the transmitter by general circuit model is put forward to realize the power allocation of the receiver loads. First, the magnetic coupling resonance (MCR) MIMO-WPT system is made to be equivalent to a linear circuit model, and the general circuit model of MIMO-WPT system is established, which describes output transfer characteristics, transmission efficiency and output power of the MIMO-WPT system with parametric state matrix. Then, based on the power demand of each receiver load, the vector expression of the excitation source at the transmitter of MIMO-WPT system is derived by the general circuit model. At last, the simulation experiment of WPT system with 3 transmitting and 2 receiving coils is designed to verify the accuracy of the general circuit model estimation and the feasibility of the power distribution of the receiver load.
