[Objective] The present study was conducted to clone coat protein gene of citrus tristeza virus (CTY) collected from Gannan navel oranges (south of Jiangxi province) and analyze its sequence genetic information, in order to lay the foundation for preventing CTY from spreading by using mild strains cross protection method. [Method] The CP gene of CTY sample was amplified with RT-PCR and sequenced. The recombination and nucleotide sequence composition of CP gene in different CTY samples were detected by using software. The nucleotide genetic distance among collected CTY samples and 10 completed whole genome sequencing CTY isolates were calculated, and followed by sequence homology comparison and phylogenetic tree construction. [Result] Amongst 214 collected citrus leaf samples, 78 samples were infected with CTY, and the disease incidence was 36.4%. Out of 78 CTY samples, only one sample was found to be has genetic recombination. The full-length sequence of CP gene in 78 CTY samples was 672 bp in length, and there were no any base deletion and insertion. The average GC and AT (U) compositions of CP gene were 52.8% and 47.2%, respectively. The CP nucleotide genetic distance amongst 78 CTY samples were 0-0.072, and those between 78 samples and 10 known isolates were 0-0.106, respectively. The nucleotide and its deduced amino acid of CP gene amongst 78 samples shared 89.1%-100.0% and 92.3%-100.0% of homology, and they shared 76.5%-98.9% and 73.6%-99.5% of homologies with 10 known CTY isolates, respectively. The phylogenetic tree analysis results showed that, 78 samples and 10 known CTY isolates could be divided into four groups. The first group (I) contained 49 collected CTY samples and 7 known isolates (6 virulent strains and 1 mild strain). The second group(II) contained 21 collected samples and 2 known isolates Qaha and Mexico-ctv. The third group (III) only contained sample CRJ14 which came from Ruijin region. The fourth group (IV) contained one known isolate HA16-5 and those collected samples from Jiangkou and Ningdu regions of Jiangxi province. [Conclusion] The CP gene of CTY isolates from Gannan navel oranges is highly conserved, and its sequence has variation at a certain extent. There are higher and complex relationship amongst each collected isolate, and most of them are associated with virulent and stem pitting isolates. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have attracted increasing research enthusiasm owing to their tunable functionality, diverse structure characteristics, and large surface area. However, poor hydrothermal stability restricts the utilization of some MOFs in practical applications. Our work aims at improving the hydrothermal stability of a representative MOF, namely, HKUST-1, by incorporating a two-dimensional material Ti 3 C 2 T x MXene for the first time. A new type of hybrid material is synthesized through the hybridization of HKUST-1 and Ti 3 C 2 T x , and the obtained hybrids show improved hydrothermal stability as well as catalytic performance. The porosity of hybrids is enhanced when incorporating an appropriate amount of Ti 3 C 2 T x , and the surface area can reach 1380 m 2 ·g -1 , while the pristine HKUST-1 is 1210 m 2 ·g -1 . After the hydrothermal treatment (hot water vapor, 70 °C), the structure of hybrid materials maintains well, while the framework of HKUST-1 is severely destroyed. When catalyzing the ring-opening reaction of styrene oxide, the conversion reaches 76.7% only for 20 min, which is much higher than that of pure HKUST-1 (23.1% for 20 min). More importantly, the catalytic activity could recover without loss even after six cycles. Our hybrid materials are promising in practical catalytic applications due to their excellent hydrothermal stability, catalytic activity, and reusability.

Objective: To study the effective antiobesity project in diet and physical exercise for patients with simple obesity., Methods: 30 volunteers with body-mass index (BMI) >25 were investigated by questionnaire. The analysis was focused on such factors as dietary history, diet habits and physical activities. They were enrolled and received diet and physical exercise program for 3 months. Their BMI were measured before and after test respectively. The results were analyzed using statistical method., Results: The total intake of energy and fat per day in obesity group in the past was significantly higher than that of the recommended dietary allowance. The percentage of always eating too much and favoring sweetmeat in obesity group was 64% and 62%. While less physical activities were found in obesity group. It showed that the total intake of energy, fat and protein per day in obesity group before test was significantly higher than that after test (P < 0.05 ). BMI, The waistline, the hip, the line of upper arm were significantly higher before than after test (P < 0.05) in the study group., Conclusions: The results suggested that diet rich in high energy and fat, bad diet habits of always eating too much and favoring sweetmeat, less physical activities were the important factors of triggering obesity.

Objective: To investigate the change of the mortality of AMI and influence factors within 20 years., Methods: Clinic data of 134 AMI patients from 1980 to 1983, 354 AMI patients from 1990 to 1993 and 817 AMI patients from 2000 to 2003 were comparably analyzed., Results: In hospital mortality of AMI was 22.4% from 1980 to 1983, 14.4% from 1990 to 1993 and 9.2% from 2000 to 2003, respectively (P < 0.01). The decrease of in-hospital mortality in male was more significant than in female (P < 0.01). The corresponding factors for decrease of mortality were younger than 60 years old, first onset of AMI, successful rescue of cardiac arrest and reperfusion management of infarction relative artery. The disadvantage factor was female., Conclusions: Improvement of medical and reperfusion management of AMI conduced in significant decreases of hospital mortality.
