This study used Green Spinach Leaf Extract for the green synthesis (monocolors) of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs). This search focuses on the optimization of synthesis by evaluating the impact on the each of the size distribution and activity of antibacterial against bacteria (Escherichia coli) of the green spinach leaf extract volume percent. The characterization of AgNP's was carried out utilizing UV-Visible spectrophotometers, size examination of particles, transmission electron microscopes, energy spectrometry with dispersion X rays, Fourier infrared spectrometer transform and x-ray scanning methods. The experimental data show that AgNPs have been produced effectively and size of particle is controlled by the amount of green spinach leaf extract. With the size reaching (5 nm, polydispersity indices = 0.063 nm), the smaller volume percentage creates AgNPswith a spherically formed reach of 20%. The synthesized AgNPs by the spinach leaf extract had a good antibacterial activity especially at the concentration of (500μg/ml) in which the inhibition zone reached 35mm against gram negative bacteria Escherichia coli.

In this study, silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) were synthesized concurrently by use of a green method and pulsed liquid laser fragmentation (PLFL). The AgNP’s, which were generated in an extract solution of Spincia Olercea in order to regulate their size, were focused on the laser wavelength of 532 nm. The influence on the characteristics of manufactured NPs of liquid medium concentration and irradiation time were investigated. While the pattern of X-ray diffraction (XRD) verified AgNPs, the UV–VIS spectrophotometry indicated a large absorption peak at about 406 &458 nm attributable to the typical plasm surface resonance (SPR) peak of the AgNPs acquired. The SPR peak changed to a shorter wavelength by increasing the irradiation period and the concentration of spincia olercea extract. This movement shows the size of the NPs being reduced. The influence from transmission electron microscopy images of PLFL was clearly demonstrated on size reduction. The PLFL method decreased the size of the AgNPs produced to less than 10 nm, depending on the experimental conditions. Bacterial growth was also efficiently inhibited by AgNPs. When combined with a chemical reduction procedure, the PLFL approach has shown to be an effective tool for checking the volumes of NPs.

Nanoparticles produced by plants are preferred in the medical field for its safe and unpolluted product; it is also accepted as an ecofriendly, non-expensive, and non-toxic nanomaterial. In this study, silver nitrate was successfully used to produce silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) by the use extractsof 4 different latex-producing plants which belong to 2 families (Moraceae and Euphorbiaceae). The synthesis was proved by Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM).The sizes of the AgNP grains were estimated by Granularity Cumulating Distribution (GCD). The results revealed the production of AgNPs in different sizes of 103 and 82 nm using the Moraceae family and 77 and74nm using the Euphorbiaceae family.Antibacterial activity was also detected against both Gram positive and Gram negative pathogenic bacteria using the well diffusion assay. In conclusion, this source of nanoparticles can be a very useful industrial project in a goal to find new safe and economic alternatives to antibiotics.

Soil bacteria play an interesting role in the reduction of Ag+ ions and the formation of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs), which may be a good source for nanoparticles and play a major role in nanotechnology applications. The concept of this project was to study the effects of these environmentally produced nanoparticles on the growth of some pathogenic bacteria. The environmental bacteria were isolated from soil, purified on broth cultures, and centrifuged, while the supernatant was extracted to detect its ability to convert silver nitrate to nanoparticles. The AgNPs was detected by Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), while Granularity Cumulating Distribution (GCD) was employed to estimate the AgNPs sizes. The results showed the synthesis of AgNPs with sizes of 63.50nm and 45.81nm from the extracts of environmental Pseudomonas sp. and Enterobacter, respectively. The synthesized AgNPs from the extracts of all environmental bacteria showed antibacterial activity against some pathogenic bacteria (Gram positive and Negative) with variable inhibition zones. In conclusion, environmental bacteria can be a cheap source of nanoparticles.

Fructophilic lactic acid bacteria (FLAB) isolated from honeybee’s nectar stomach represent an important source of antimicrobial substances that has been focused on nowadays. In this study, these FLABs were tested for their antibacterial activity in vivo as well as the detection of Interleukine -17 in the serum of rabbits ingested with FLAB isolates. Fructobacillus fructosus FH1, Fructobacillus fructosus FH8 and Lactobacillus kunkeei SHGH-7 FLAB isolates were used against wound infections caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) in rabbit skin . Enzyme linked sorbent immunoassay (ELISA) was used to detect the levels of Interleukine-17 in the sera of rabbits ingested with these three FLAB isolates. The results showed that the time of wound healing process was shorter in the FLAB treated wounds when compared to control untreated wounds with a significant difference at p≤0.01. Histopathological examination of wounds treated with FLAB isolates showed normal thickness in skin layers with no pathological effect, as well as tissue repair and presence of new blood vessels when compared to pathogen groups that were infected with pathogenic bacteria without any treatment, which showed hyperplasia with necrosis in tissue. Results of the FLAB-ingested groups showed an increase in the level of IL-17 when compared to the control with no statistical significance (P≤0.05). To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study on using FLAB microorganisms in the treatment of infected wounds.
