[ES] En este trabajo se va a realizar un análisis del protocolo VXLAN (Virtual Extensible Local Area Network). Se trata de un protocolo para transportar tráfico de la capa de enlace de datos sobre la capa de red. Fue propuesto por empresas como Cisco, Intel y VMware para evitar algunos de los problemas que se daban en los centros de datos derivados del empleo de virtualización en los servidores, así como la infrautilización de enlaces debido al uso del STP (Spanning Tree Protocol). Se explicará en qué consiste este protocolo y cuáles son sus funciones, así como un análisis del estudio del arte donde se establecerá una comparativa con las diferentes soluciones que actualmente podemos encontrar como túneles VPN. Utilizaremos el simulador de red Mininet, para diseñar varios escenarios en los que se implementará el protocolo VXLAN. De dichas simulaciones se obtendrá información para obtener datos estadísticos con las cuales se evaluará la eficiencia y la seguridad que este protocolo puede ofrecer. Este trabajo tiene como objetivo final conocer cuáles son las utilidades que VXLAN puede ofrecer, evaluar la seguridad que ofrece este protocolo, cuáles son las ventajas y desventajas que tiene que respecto a otras soluciones para establecer túneles entre redes de área local, en que ámbitos es apropiado implementar esta solución y si es posible plantear mejoras en el protocolo., [EN] In this work, an analysis of the VXLAN (Virtual Extensible Local Area Network) protocol will be carried out.
