The paper presents new thickness and sandiness maps of the Visean terrigenous strata (Radayevkian and Bobrikian regional stages, Lower Carboniferous) of the South Tatar Arch, constructed using the “Natural Neighbour” spatial interpolation method in ArcGIS Pro software based on the analysis of geophysical survey data for more than 30,000 boreholes. The interpretation of the maps in combination with the results of sedimentological, ichnotextural and petrophysical core studies, supplemented by the analysis of archival and published materials, provided an opportunity to update the approach to modelling the sedimentation of the terrigenous Lower Carboniferous of the South Tatar Arch. The proposed sedimentation models of terrigenous and coal-bearing sediments take into account the chronostratigraphic data, the karstification of isolated carbonate platforms, the sediment accumulation rates and the ichnotextural characteristics of the sediments. It is concluded that the accumulation and preservation of terrigenous and peat (coal-bearing) sediments differ in duration (0.1 million years vs. 1.5–2 million years) and are consequently associated with transgressive and regressive phases. The accumulation of terrigenous sediments includes: (a) transgressive eustatic episodes – short-term incursions of a marine basin onto the eroded surface of an isolated carbonate platform, during which silty and sandy, well-sorted bioturbated sediments were accumulated, often with a variety of ichnofossils of marine benthic organisms; (b) the regressive eustatic phase resulted in the predominant erosion of sediments on the arch; whereas sediments in the incisions were largely preserved. The accumulation of peat (coal-bearing) deposits includes (a) the regressive eustatic phase, during which the vast area of the eastern Volga-Urals region was covered with flourishing vegetation and stable swamp environments were forming in the incisions of the Tournaisian surface; (b) the transgressive phase – the peat was overlaid and buried by transgressive marine silt-sand sediments; then it was compacted and transformed into coal. The alternation of coal-bearing and transgressive intervals indicates the cyclicity of these processes. The proposed sedimentation models extend the concepts of previous studies and are consistent with the developed maps of thickness and sandiness of the Lower Carboniferous terrigenous sediments, explaining the complex, covering and mosaic distribution of sand bodies over the area, as well as the filling of incisions with sediments of different lithological types.

Abstract The lack of dense random access memory is one of the main bottlenecks for the creation of a digital superconducting computer. In this work we study experimentally vortex-based superconducting memory cells. Three main results are obtained. First, we test scalability and demonstrate that the cells can be straightforwardly miniaturized to submicron sizes. Second, we emphasize the importance of conscious geometrical engineering. In the studied devices we introduce an asymmetric easy track for vortex motion and show that it enables a controllable manipulation of vortex states. Finally, we perform a detailed analysis of word and bit line operation of a 1 × 1 μm2 cell. High-endurance, non-volatile operation at zero magnetic field is reported. Remarkably, we observe that the combined word and bit line threshold current is significantly reduced compared to the bare word-line operation. This could greatly improve the selectivity of individual cell addressing in a multi-cell RAM. The achieved one square micron area is an important milestone and a significant step forward towards creation of a dense cryogenic memory.

At present, when estimating the state of the resource base and the general forecast for the development of oil production, ones often operate with the reserves-to-production ratio, which reflects, as it is believed, a guaranteed time for involving current recoverable reserves in active development. However, the terms (numbers) differ significantly. In this regard, it seems appropriate to once again discuss the content of the commonly used ratio, the differences in approaches to its estimation and use in our country and abroad, as well as the possibility of using it when forecasting production and the need for an increase in reserves.

Objective: development and validation of a reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test kit for SARS-CoV-2 ribonucleic acids (RNA) qualitative detection adapted for using with automated station for RNA extraction.Material and methods. Assessment of clinical performance was carried out on biological samples (nasal and oropharyngeal swabs and sputum) obtained during the diagnostic procedure. The presence of novel coronavirus RNA was established using a reference kit. Sensitivity was evaluated on standard SARS-CoV-2 sample (EDX SARS-CoV-2 Standard, Bio-Rad Laboratories, USA).Results. Presence of SARS-CoV-2 RNA is detected by two genome regions. Sensitivity determined by testing SARS-CoV-2 standard was 250 copies/ml. Coefficient of variation during the testing of samples with the concentration of 104 copies/ml did not exceed 5% in different conditions. Diagnostic sensitivity against reference test was 100% (95% confidence interval (CI) 95.6–100) for nasal and oropharyngeal swabs and 100% (95% CI 94.8–100) for sputum. Diagnostic specificity was 100% (95% CI 95.6–100) for nasal and oropharyngeal swabs and 100% (95% CI 94.8–100) for sputum. The turnaround time for test from RNA extraction till obtaining results was about 3 hours when testing 96 samples using automated stations for RNA extraction.Conclusion. Using the kit together with automated station for RNA extraction will increase laboratory testing capacity in pandemic conditions.

Superconducting diodes, operational at zero magnetic field, can be used in supercomputers. Here, the authors demonstrate prototypes of diodes-with-memory, based on Nb Josephson junctions, with a large and switchable nonreciprocity at zero field.

The article deals with the study of the problem of Lesia Ukrainka's reception of the literary phenomenon of naturalism and the philosophy of positivism as its ideological basis. It also studies the way the poetess evaluated and looked at the achievements of European and Ukrainian writers representing this literary movement in the context of world and Ukrainian literary and cultural processes. The research also singles out the significance, national and individual-author features of the naturalism professed by I. Franko, A. Krymsky, E. Zola, Goncourt brothers, and F.Norris. The article focuses on the ideological and aesthetic importance of the postulates of naturalistic art for the development of the Ukrainian literary process. It also analyses different stages of the ideological and aesthetic reception of the naturalism doctrine in the perception of different generations of Ukrainian literary critics; it deals with Lesya Ukrainka's attitude to the naturalistic concept of a man and her reasoning about the compatibility of naturalism with certain genres and movements of literature. The article drives to the conclusion that Lesia Ukrainka recognizes the very fact of the existence of Ukrainian naturalism. It provides Lesia's vision on the usage of naturalistic elements in generally unnaturalist works and their combination with other elememts, sometimes representative of opposite to naturalism in their ideological and aesthetic postulates, such as romanticism, decadence, neo-romanticism, realism, etc. The article also provides an insight of Lesia Ukrainka's attitude to the problems of zoomorphic imagery, social involvement, physiological scientism in the literature of naturalism. It draws attention to the problem of the evolution of aesthetic consciousness of E. Zola, I. Franko, A. Krymsky, and Lesia Ukrainka herself. There is also place for the comparative analysis of the perception of naturalism in the literary-critical reception of different generations of Ukrainian and foreign writers.

The adolescents aged between 15 and 17 with postural disorders in the sagittal plane, who live in mountainous regions in the Carpathians, achieve less than their peers with similar postural disorders, who live in plain regions. The research aims to develop the comprehensive programme for correcting postural disorders in the sagittal plane among pupils, who live in mountainous regions in the Carpathians, using physical rehabilitation, and establish the links between empirical data of the experiment and neurosciences to develop methods of complex psychophysical and neurophysiological diagnostic and rehabilitation of adolescents with such disorders in further research. The research is based on a detailed observation of 319 adolescents aged between 15 and 17 from mountainous regions of the Ukrainian Carpathians and 94 pupils from plain regions with postural disorders in the sagittal plane. The research methods are the following: an analysis of the scientific and specialized literature; surveys and questionnaires; pedagogical tests; methods for determining the indicators of physical development, functional readiness and functions of the spine; methods of mathematical statistics, namely, the Ruffier-Dickson test, Otto test, Schober test, Thomayer test, Fleischmann test, Sedin test and spinal index, inclinometer measurements. The pupils who suffer from the stoop and round spine have shown a decrease in average values in the angles of lordosis and kyphosis curves; pupils who suffer from flat back – an increase in the angles of the sacral bone, lordosis and kyphosis curves; pupils who suffer from the round and concave back – a decrease in the angles of the sacral bone, lordosis and kyphosis curves. The implementation of the author’s programme for physical rehabilitation has made it possible to achieve a statistically significant improvement in most of the analyzed indicators. Finally, the article extrapolates the results of the experiment to their neurophysiological and neuromedical application in terms of enhancing anamnesis and taking into account post-correction data in subsequent medical treatment.

Most of the current programs of physical rehabilitation of students of a special medical group (hereinafter - SMG) are aimed only at a separate contingent depending on the type of nosology, which complicates the work of the teacher and reduces the effectiveness of classes for other students. In fact, no physical rehabilitation programs have been developed for female students who have the highest reproductive potential. Therefore, the creation of a rehabilitation program that will not only be able to cover students with various diseases, but will also be useful for the prevention of risk factors for chronic noncommunicable diseases (CHD) as the most acute demographic problem is relevant. The purpose of the study is to develop, scientifically substantiate and test the program of physical rehabilitation of students of a special medical group, taking into account motor disorders. The developed program of physical rehabilitation of SMG students taking into account motor impairments had a complex character and included the following elements: lifestyle modification, kinesitherapy (with stoppage of fitness yoga, functional training, aerobic training) (swimming, fitness, jogging, health) self-massage with the Lyapko applicator. The control group included 24 individuals, the experimental group consisted of two groups of 24 individuals. The following methods were used to solve the research tasks: analysis of scientific and special literature, surveys and questionnaires, pedagogical testing, methods of determining indicators of physical development, physical fitness and functional state of the organism, methods of mathematical statistics. After the implementation of the developed program of physical rehabilitation for female students, a decrease in the number and intensity of modified risk factors for CHD due to increased physical activity, reduction of bad habits was determined; reducing the number of complaints. Studies on the effectiveness of the program of physical rehabilitation of female students, taking into account motor impairments, tested on a sufficient number of female students of the special medical group, have confirmed data and can serve as a basis for practical implementation of this program.

The necessity of systematic formation of intellectual connections for integration into a single complex of currently fragmented software products for the technological analysis of the castings geometry, thermodynamic modeling of the titanium alloys properties, calculation of molding mixtures thermophysical characteristics for the purpose of conjugate implementation of a set of modeling procedures and casting processes diagnostics of is proved. Lack of such an integrated software package, computer analysis of modeling results in the existing manufacturing products practice demonstrates (by the example of the shrinkage defects distribution in a responsible casting of TL3 alloy) the need for radical technological design tools’ improvement.One of the key components of the “digital technology” being formed in the future is thermodynamic modeling of equilibrium phase transformations, which allows calculating the physico-chemical parameters, thermodynamic, thermophysical and casting parameters of titanium alloys and their evolution in the temperature range of crystallization. Based on thermodynamic simulation, experimental planning apparatus and the experience of statistical analysis carried out, a method for forming models for estimating equilibrium parameters used in modeling foundry processes has been developed, and it shows the possibility of applying it to various casting titanium alloys. For the standard composition of the TL3 alloy, a multifactor system of equations was obtained, reflecting the degree of influence of the components on the fluctuations of the alloy characteristics complex, which determine the development of a series of casting defects. The possibilities of using the obtained models for TL3 alloy and methods of obtaining them for use in computer modeling systems to increase the adequacy and accuracy of the results obtained are described.

Employment of the non-trivial proximity effect in superconductor/ferromagnet (S/F) heterostructures for the creation of novel superconducting devices requires accurate control of magnetic states in complex thin-film multilayers. In this work, we study experimentally in-plane transport properties of microstructured Nb/Co multilayers. We apply various transport characterization techniques, including magnetoresistance, Hall effect, and the first-order-reversal-curves (FORC) analysis. We demonstrate how FORC can be used for detailed in situ characterization of magnetic states. It reveals that upon reduction of the external field, the magnetization in ferromagnetic layers first rotates in a coherent scissor-like manner, then switches abruptly into the antiparallel state and after that splits into the polydomain state, which gradually turns into the opposite parallel state. The polydomain state is manifested by a profound enhancement of resistance caused by a flux-flow phenomenon, triggered by domain stray fields. The scissor state represents the noncollinear magnetic state in which the unconventional odd-frequency spin-triplet order parameter should appear. The non-hysteretic nature of this state allows for reversible tuning of the magnetic orientation. Thus, we identify the range of parameters and the procedure for in situ control of devices based on S/F heterostructures.

The indicator of high and productive potato harvests is the use of new high-yielding varieties, effective planting material, proper provision of plants with useful substances, ensuring crop care, protection of plants from weeds, diseases and pests, maintaining optimal soil moisture during the growing season. One of the priority indicators that determine the low yield of potatoes in many areas of Ukraine, both favorable and unfavorable for potato growing, is the use of low-quality seed material that is affected by infectious phytopathogens. reproduction of healthy seed material is one of the main tasks of potato seed production. The use of biological preparations to stimulate the development of plants, increasing their endurance to negative environmental stimuli is relevant for the accelerated reproduction of such material. Thus, the purpose of the article is to study the effective technological aspects during the reproduction of pre-basic seed material of potatoes, which includes the use of the biological preparation Albit, in the conditions of the southwestern territory of the Forest Steppe of Ukraine. The article presents the results of studies of the influence of methods of application of the complex drug Albit on the formation of potato productivity in the process of reproduction of pre-basic seed material in the conditions of the southwestern part of the Forest Steppe of Ukraine. In the course of research, it was established that in order to achieve a high level of realization of the biological potential of the culture and product quality when growing pre-basic potato seed material, it is advisable to treat the tubers at planting with Albit 100 ml/t and to spray twice in the seedling and budding phases of vegetative plants with the drug in a dose of 50 ml/Ha

The author explores the causes of difficulties associated with identifying literary works as impressionistic. The paper then explores the reasons for the shift in the attitudinal and philosophical conceptualization of impressionism from rationalist positivism to irrationalist trends in the “philosophy of life”. The conclusion discusses the impact of the philosophical basis of impressionism on the character of its poetics.

Ditto their knowledge about environmental racism and their activism on behalf of a better urban and global environment. And they are eager to talk about the political implications of redistricting, their community garden and the importance of composting, and legal challenges facing youth. But at Family School, social justice means more than youth engagement and a basic commitment to equity issues. It means that children themselves learn by doing social justice work, and do so well in their academics because they have learned that education is about them, about the roots of racism and its local legacy, about the reasons nearly half the houses in their neighborhoods are foreclosed, about the systemic reasons their mothers are poor and about why asthma rates are so high in big cities. Appraisal is a legislatively created right that affords a shareholder the ability to seek a judicial ruling on the jhir value of their stock when their corporation undergoes a merger that they do not support. While this reme* is intended to protect shareholders from faulty merger negotiating, in the 20103 hedge fund petitioners in Delaware flooded the Delaware Chancery Court to use the remedy to make a profit-a tactic called appraisal arbitrage. While appraisal arbitrage theoretically acts as a back-end market check on controller abuses, appraisal litigation is lengthy and requires court resources. Further, appraisal arbitrage allows hedge fund petitioners, many of whom purchased shares of a target corporation after the merger announcement, to profit needlessly. In response to increased appraisal litigation in the late 20103, the Delaware legislature reacted with new statutory solutions, and the Delaware Supreme Court issued three critical opinions; all in an attempt to curb appraisal arbitrage in the Delaware Chancery Court. While these actions seem to limit the aggregate number of appraisal cases in the Delaware courts and influence the outcome of appraisal decisions, two recent Delaware Chancery Court decisions indicate that appraisal arbitrage has not quite left Delaware. This Comment focuses on the history of Delaware's appraisal statute and its use by appraisal arbitrageurs. Through analysis of the rise of appraisal arbitrage, the efforts from the Delaware legislature and Supreme Court to curb it, and two recent Delaware Chancery Court decisions, this Comment argues that appraisal arbitrage still plagues Delaware. This Comment asserts that Delaware must overturn a 2007 Chancery Court decision that allows shareholders who bought shares of a company undergoing a merger after the transaction's record date to claim appraisal rights even though they may not have voted with those shares. Moreover, the Delaware legislature must codify this change and amend its appraisal and merger statutes to correct a share-tracing problem that the 2007 decision resolved. In the article, an analysis of the conception of the Fatherland dishonored by the captive colonial status is provided with regard to the artistic work of the Ukrainian poets. The feeling of shame, rage and hatred towards the enslaved Ukraine is more or less seen in the historic and philosophic views of T. Shevchenko, P. Kulish, I. Franko, L. Ukrainka, I. Malaniuk. The prominent poets have always been playing the role of ‘nerves’, indicators of the political, social, cultural and moral health of the people. So the conception of shame for the captivated Ukraine in their artistic work should be viewed as the determinant for the further nation recovery.

Актуальність. Захворювання серцево-судинної системи в більшості економічно розвинених країн займають лідируючі позиції серед причин захворюваності, інвалідизації та смертності. Смертність від захворювань серцево-судинної системи переважає над смертністю від усіх злоякісних новоутворень, разом узятих, причому, 25 % померлих від серцево-судинних захворювань – це люди працездатного віку. Атеросклероз (atherosclerosis) – хронічна хвороба, яка характеризується ліпоїдною інфільтрацією внутрішньої оболонки артерій еластичного й змішаного типів із наступним розвитком у їх стінці сполучної тканини та клінічно проявляється загальними й місцевими розладами кровообігу. Атеросклероз облітеруючий – різновид атеросклерозу, що характеризується різким звуженням або повним закриттям просвіту артерій. Він спостерігається, зазвичай, в артеріях нижніх кінцівок, серця, нирок і екстракраніальних відділах судин головного мозку. Мета дослідження – установити структуру оперативних утручань при облітеруючому атеросклерозі нижніх кінцівок та виявити головні аспекти, на які має бути спрямована реабілітація хворих із цією патологією. Методи дослідження – аналіз та синтез наукових джерел, аналіз медичних карт. Проведено аналіз 59 медичних карт хворих після оперативних втручань при облітеруючому атеросклерозі нижніх кінцівок. Проаналізовано структуру утручань і їх ускладнень протягом десяти місяців 2017 р. Критерій виключення – хворі з облітеруючим атеросклерозом нижніх кінцівок із цукровим діабетом. Результати дослідження. Такі хворі потребують реабілітаційного втручання залежно від стадії захворювання, типу оперативного втручання вже в ранньому післяопераційному періоді та в амбулаторних умовах. Особливої уваги потребують хворі після ампутації фаланг пальців, опорної частини стопи та ампутацій вище коліна. Адже при ампутації нижніх кінцівок значно порушується статика тіла, центр тяжіння переміщується в бік збереженої кінцівки. Як наслідок, нахил таза, що призводить до викривлення хребта й збільшення навантаження на збережену кінцівку, відбувається атрофія м’язів кукси. Значно знижується якість життя пацієнтів. Висновки. За результатами дослідження встановлено, що відсоток жінок із цим захворюванням є меншим, порівняно з чоловіками, проте він значний, що не зовсім збігається з попередніми дослідженнями та, очевидно, потребує вивчення причин росту цього захворювання серед жінок. Також установлено, що майже чверть пацієнтів із цим діагнозом поступили в хірургічне відділення в стадії деструктивних змін із характерними виразками в дистальних відділах кінцівки й пальцях, що призвело до їх ампутації.
