Solar irradiation is the most affordable renewable energy source, implementable even on household level. The considerably lower cost of setup and maintenance compared to the other renewable energies makes it a preferable choice in regions with lot of sunny days throughout the year. One of the main R&D aspects of interest of the Photovoltaic (PV) technologies is the efficiency of the PV conversion, which is dealt with on material level. Additional efficiency aspects could be a field of research in support to higher energy production. One of them is the land use efficiency of the utilized plot surface. Namely, the usual approach in populating the plot used by the plant is with row and column distances that guarantee no inter-shading among the panels. This paper presents results of research proposing use of denser panel population in the plot, with allowed inter-shading which under some approximation provides calculations of lower individual panel efficiency but much higher overall land use efficiency. The research project proposes an inter-shading model in a 3×3 PV plant, which can be validated in CAD applications. A clear-sky irradiation model is then used to estimate plant's power at certain moment in the year, and calculation of energy production. Sun position and its incidence angle are calculated using a verified model. The analytical software uses the following input parameters - plant geo-location (latitude, longitude, time zone); panel geometry (width, height); plant geometry (inter-row and inter-column distances, panel inclination angle); and date and time. The intershading model results in total plant exposed PV surface to direct solar irradiation, as well as in the total shaded PV surface receiving diffuse (and reflected) radiation. The energy model can then be used for power and energy calculations, as well as optimal inclination, inter-row and inter-column estimations. If panel technologies allow small segmentation with protective diodes implementing approximation that whole directly exposed surface performs PV conversion, then allowed inter-shading and thus denser panel populated plant plot may prove cost-effective.

Photovoltaic industries perform a lot of research and development in its technological aspects, all of which more or less tackle the efficiency aspects. This paper proposes methodology in support of shading estimation among the panels in a rectangular grid. Knowing the inter-shading in any moment throughout the year or within a certain day can allow simulation and analysis of the power issues and the energy production.

Paper presents operating characteristics of brush-less DC motor (BLDC) obtained by analytical, numerical and simulation software, allowing steady-state and transient characteristics of the motor to be computed. Based on catalog data from producer Moog, motor is simulated in closed-loop control system fed by voltage inverter. Derived analytical and simulation models allow studying of various motor operating modes like no-load, rated load and locked rotor. Therefore, they are a useful tool in analysis of motor characteristics and operation. Finite Elements model of the motor is derived in order to verify the results of the previous models as well as to calculate magnetic flux density in motor cross-section.

This paper presents the operating characteristics of brushless DC motors (BLDC) obtained via analytical, numerical, and simulation software, enabling steady-state and transient characteristics of a motor to be computed. Based on the catalogue data from the producer, Moog, a motor is simulated in a closed-loop control system fed by a voltage inverter. The accuracy of the derived models is verified by comparison with data from the producer. The developed analytical and simulation models enable the studying of various motor operating modes, such as no-load, rated load, and locked rotor, including motor starting characteristics. They are universal and can be easily applied to any brushless DC motor by simple replacement of the motor parameters. A numerical model in FEM software verifies the accuracy of previously derived models by obtaining the motor operating characteristics and the magnetic flux density distribution in a cross-section of the motor. The results obtained from all models have verified the proper design of the motor and laid out the path for further improvement with respect to the various motor parameters or operating characteristics.

In this paper we shall explain the connection between Euler’s number and the calculation of compound interest with emphasize on the power of compound interest. Therefore, the financiers around the world, describe compound interest like the most powerful force in the universe. From above mentioned statements and affirmations understanding and detailed study of compound interest represent a very important field in financial mathematics which must be known not only by financiers, bankers and economists but is equally important to be known by each individual or person. Because earning money is not just and art, but also agility, know-how, branch of knowledge and science in main percentage.

Ракописот е наменет првенствено за студентите кои изучуваат повеќе предмети поврзани со обновливи извори на енергија, енергетска ефикасност и заштеда на енергија, кои се изучуваат на Електротехничкиот факултет при Универзитетот „Гоце Делчев“ - Штип. Основна цел е да им помогне во совладување на најважните теми кои го обработуваат концептот на енергетски заштеди и еколошко унапредување на деловните субјекти. Нивото и стилот на обработка на материјата се приспособени кон знаењата и потребите на студентите од додипломските и постдипломските студии. Начинот на појаснување на сите сложени прашања од областа на зголемување на енергетската ефикасност, е многу пристапен со примена на примери од непосредната практика. Оттука, концизното и експлицитното презентирање на проблематика од оваа област, дава голема можност за користење на овој материјал не само за студентите туку и пошироко. Имајќи предвид дека ова е прво издание, не е исклучена можноста да има одредени недостатоци. Оттука, секоја добронамерна забелешка ќе биде прифатена со посебно задоволство. Ракописот е напишан со јасен и разбирлив јазик и методолошки е структуриран во шест глави кои всушност претставуваат придонес од различни истражувања на различни автори. Поконкретно, се работи за заеднички труд на дел од членовите на проектниот тим кој учествуваше во реализација на научно-истражувачкиот проект „Mожности и методи за замена и заштеда на енергија и зголемување на енергетската ефикасност во хотелската индустрија“, одобрен од страна на Сенатот на Унивезитетот „Гоце Делчев“ – Штип со Одлука бр. 0801-139/26 од 27.01.2015 година. За подобноста, значењето и оправданоста на овој труд говори позитивниот извештај на рецензентите. Голема благодарност упатуваме до Проф. д-р Антон Чаушевски од ФЕИТ при Универзитетот „Св. One of the most complicated and powerful systems at planet earth is the Mother Nature. Almost every day, somewhere in the world, an earthquake is registered with magnitudes that affects life of many humans. It is very important to better understand the system of the ground shaking caused by sesmic waves. Collecting the data from these scenarios are very important for the researchers. We are processing the data from seven – story Hotel in Van Nyus, California during the Northridge Earthquake in 1994. During the earthquake, five instruments are measuring the displacements from the bottom to the top of the building. This paper represents the connection between the ground and the fifth floor at which the building is cracking. We will calculate some parameters that are important according to us between these two points and present graphically over the software LabView. Numerical solutions implemented via object – orinented blocks will give us the results that we are needed.

Развојот и сé поголемиот интерес за инвестирање во обновливите енергетски извори овозможува зголемена употреба на т.н. дистрибуирани производни капацитети. Ваквите производни капацитети (мали соларни електрани, мини и микро хидроелектрани, ветерни електрани и сл.) добиваат особена важност за снабдување на енергетски потрошувачи кои, од една страна имаат мали или средни потреби од електрична енергија, додека од друга страна се релативно доста оддалечени од главните енергетски коридори, така што приклучокот кон постојната дистрибутивна мрежа е скап и економски неоправдан. Пред да се пристапи кон избор на соодветно решение за енергетско снабдување на ваквите изолирани енергетски потрошувачи, потребно е да се направи соодветна анализа на сите технички аспекти и можните ресурси за локално дистрибуирано производство на електрична енергија, можности за евентуално складирање и сигурност во снабдувањето при реализација на ваквите технички решенија. Во овој труд, даден е еден методолошки пристап и анализа на можните техничко-технолошки предизвици кои треба да бидат земени во предвид и совладани во процесот на реализација на дистрибуирани производители на електрична енергија и снабдување со електрична енергија на изолирани потрошувачи.

Agent-based (intelligent) systems technology has generated lots of excitement in recent years because of its promise as a new paradigm for conceptualizing, designing and implementing software systems. Multi-agent systems are designed as a collection of interacting autonomous agents, each having their own capacities and goals that are situated to a common environment. An information system is very important part of the contemporary university. Adaptation as a new trend in the modern e-Learning concepts aimed to produce more effective learning curve by tailoring a course's curriculum to individuals' specific preferences. In this paper, presented is an AeLS (Adaptive e-Learning System) successfully implemented as an advancement from the previous agent-based eLS IABUIS (Integrated Intelligent Agent Based University Information System). The main point of interest would be an ULIS (University Library Information System) adaptability as a part of AeLS. As a pert of the research project entitled "Opportunities and Methods for Energy Substitution, Savings and Efficiency Improvements in the Hotel Industry" funded by the University "Goce Delcev", Stip, Macedonia, a joint workshop was held in Ankara, Turkey. The Workshop was held at the Bashkent University in Ankara, Turkey between 10 and 13 of December 2015.

The modern way of living increases the need for attractive sites for tourists to visit. Usually artistic fountains are attractive performing visual and spraying effects synchronized to musical pieces, and thus getting tourists’ attention. This paper proposes one novel method and approach to the problem of controlling and operation of an electric drive of the pumps. The proposed method is a techno-economic compromise achieving coordinated performance of the individual pump without usage of additional expensive servo valves, for the purpose of their synchronization with the choreography based on the desired music theme.

In order to achieve a good growth of crops planted in a greenhouse, it is essential to implement the knowledge concerning specific conditions that need to be fulfilled to support expected harvest. In general several climate factors are important to be developed for sustainable ambient inside a greenhouse - temperature, air humidity, soil moisture, air circulation and also the relations between these factors. This paper depicts how contemporary technologies can be employed in an application of an automatic computerized system for controlling a stable environment inside a greenhouse, using affordable hardware (sensors, actuators, embedded controller and personal computer for SCADA interface). The presented solution controls the climate factors in an efficient way using an asynchronous communication protocol between a LabVIEW based SCADA on the host side, and a C based data acquisition and actuation system running on an embedded PIC platform.

In this paper the quasi-resonant power converter is analyzed. By computer simulations in PowerSim program are determined its output characteristics, i.e. the output power and efficiency from deviation of the operating from resonant frequency

Wherever the energy is used, there are the opportunities for increasing its effectiveness. In most cases, the energy efficiency solutions are repaid through the lower energy bills (expenses). There is large electrical energy consumption in the water supply systems. Investments in the increasing of their energy efficiency will not only have an economic dimension, but also they could have large positive effect on environment because along with reduced consumption of fossil fuels, there will be reduction of the greenhouse gases. This paper proposes one modern method for increasing energy efficiency of water supply pump stations and an analysis of the potential benefits of this method.

Automatic control of substations as part of the heating system with central heating systems described in this working paper, is set down as regulation of the temperature in the secondary heating installation (radiators) depending on the outside temperature.The main purpose of the automatic control of heating substation is to achieve the desired temperature heated building (housing).In this working paper is presented how the automatic regulation of substations fully functional as a whole, using two types of regulators with completely different way of logic.Graphical diagrams of 3's facilities, which are considered real values measured in real giving time, complete the visual representation of how it performs and what is essentially an automatic regulation of substations achieved by using the regulator Siemens RVD 230.Detailed description of the stages of creating fuzzy logical regulator used for automatic control of the substations, created a new look in achieving the desired temperature that is entering the heating element, or regulation for maximum exploitation of the heat energy.

The study explores determinants of energy consumption and efficiency in the hotel industry. It was conducted in Macedonia among managers of three, four and five-star hotels and identified the influencing factors of managing environmental protection practices. Results show that hotel category matters when addressing environmental policy issues. The evidence indicates that hotels support the European environmental impact assessment regulation, but there is a lack of interest due to restricted finances and high operation costs. Recommendations for hotel management for cutting the operational costs are also discussed.

ЕКГ дијагностиката се темели на податоците за морфолошките специфики на стандардното множество од 12 одводи (траги). Под специфики се подразбира множеството напонски и временски големини (параметри) кои ги карактеризираат морфолошките целини: P бранот, Q-R-S дефлексиите, елевацијата на ST сегментот и T бранот. Напонски големини се нивните амплитуди (отстапувања од изоелектричната линија), а временски големини се нивните траења (ширини) и меѓусебни растојанија (интервали и сегменти). Утврдувањето на сите нив доведува до прецизна дијагноза или јасна насока за употреба на натамошните дијагностички методи. Бидејќи ЕКГ сигналите се морфолошки целосно детерминирани, ЕКГ дијагностиката може да се смета за тесен и специјализиран домен сеопфатно покриен со човекова експертиза (знаење). Генералното поле на вештачка интелигенција (AI) може да форматира такви комплетни и детални познавања од даден домен во експертен систем (ES), кој може да резонира заклучоци од тој домен врз основа на доволно факти, со перформанси компаративни на човечки експерт. Овој труд дава предлог за ES темелен на диференцијална ЕКГ дијагностика базирана на стандардизираното 12-канално множество одводи: шесте стандардни (екстремитетни) - aVF, aVR, aVL, DI, DII, DIII и шесте прекордијални (градни) - V1, V2, V3, V4, V5, V6. ES продуцира јасни и концизни интерпретативни дијагнози (дијагностички констатации) составени од интерпретации (главна дијагноза) и опционален текст (комплементарен, дообјаснувачки). Интерпретациите се поделени во секции кои се однесуваат на диференцијалните дијагностички целини. Секоја целина може да започнува со skip тестови кои утврдуваат дали постојат доволно факти за испитување на истата или таа треба да се прескокне. Во склоп на целините валидна е само последната дијагностичка интерпретација бидејќи е конечен резултат на сите претходни тестови на предвидените правила. Таа ги содржи инхерентно сите позитивни тестови од сопствената целина и е често битен параметар во дијагностицирањето во наредната диференцијална целина. Прелиминарните проверки на наведениот концепт ES наспроти дијагностицирани снимки укажува на висока конзистентност со експертизата на искусни кардиолози.

Вибро-платформите овозможуваат најверодостојно спроведување на структурни тестови за утврдување на сеизмичка квалификација и перформанси на објектите (модели на згради, мостови, опрема, итн.) во услови на сеизмичка активност на нивната подлога. Концептот на сеизмичко тестирање во доменот на земјотресното инженерство и инженерската сеизмологија опфаќа изградба на скалирани модели на објектите/структурите од реалните материјали и со идентични технологии, поставување на платформа на истите и нивно побудување (екситирање) со симулирани сеизмички движења кои може да бидат вистински (вообичаено снимки на познати земјотреси) или синтетизирани специјално за одредени фреквентни подрачја (за кои е потребно да се утврди однесувањето). Интегралниот тест систем покрај самата (1) платформа опфаќа и (2) хидрауличен погон за реализација на симулациите, (3) сензорен и актуаторски систем за контрола на погонот, како и (4) дигитален компјутерски систем за управување со движењата во реално време. Реализацијата на ваквата тестна постановка се соочува со повеќе инженерски предизвици од машинска, електрична, компјутерска, информатичка, инструментациско-автоматичка и сеизмолошка природа. Имено, утврдувањето на реалните перформанси на објектите бара употреба на реални градежни и конструкциски материјали, чија маса имплицира соодветна масивност на подлогата (платформата), која пак изискува моќна хидраулика како за придвижување на товар мерен во десетици тони, така и за остварување на динамика соодветна на симулациите. Потоа е неопходно да се опфатат мноштво разновидни сигнали за да може да се аквизира динамиката на моделите, како и да се оствари управување со контрола во реално време, не само за реалистичност на симулација, туку и за безбедно движење на масивни товари под големи забрзувања. Конечно, сигнал процесирањето бара синхронизираност на сите канали на аквизиција, како и (во последно време) координираност со видео записи и виртуелно интернет присуство за аудиториум од било каде во светот. Овој труд ја дава реализацијата на наведениот систем за контрола и управување со платформата со носивост од 40 тона и 5 степени на слобода.

За да се направат истражувања врз основа на проблеми од висок ранг, многу често користиме експерименти со исти услови како вистинскиот проблем. Нормално, експериментот е со намалени пропорции, и, ако условите се доволно прецизни како што е во реалноста на проблемот, решението е многу доверливо. Конкретната област во која сакаме да направиме напредок од повисок ранг на научно поле е истражувањето на сеизмичките бранови користејки модели и експерименти од архитектурата и изминатите оштетувања на градбите поради сеизмичките побудувања. Во овој труд е користенa платформата Labview за симулација на сеизмички бран и донесување на заклучоци базирани на моќта и фреквенцијата на тој бран. IIR филтер е искористен за потенцирање на некои карактеристики на бранот. Низ минатото, многу од сеизмичките побудувања биле мерени и било прикажувано каков тип на штети имаат истите предизвикувано. Ние ќе споменеме некои примери на природни катастрофи и притоа ќе покажеме дека секоја градба се однесува различно на еден исти сеизмички бран. Поентата е да се направат добри претпоставки во иднина, базирани на секоја градба во случај на најлошото сценарио. Она кое сакаме да го потенцираме како важно во овој експеримент исто така е дека мораат да се земаат сите сеизмички побудувања со иста сериозност а не само оние со поголема магнитуда.

Во изминатите три или четири декади технологијата има експоненцијален раст во секое поле на истражување. Различни типови на алгоритми се користат за секој одговор на природата или катастрофа и истражувачите преку целото време даваат напори за подобрување на овие алгоритми. Комплексни нумерички решенија се развиени за истражување на природните катастрофи како што се земјотресите. Овие решенија ни даваат на нас подобар пристап кон карактеристиките на една сеизмичка побуда и најважно, вредна информација на тоа како таа сеизмичка побуда работи, енергијата која ја произведува и штетата која може да ја предизвика во едно такво движење на тлото. Алгоритмите за истражување на овие сеизмички бранови се преку целото време подобрувани како што се подобрувани и компјутерите. Исто така, високо развиени процесирачки апликации се произведени за да се забрза работата на истражувачите и во исто време да се зголеми точноста со значително големо намалување во времето искористено за процесирање. Една таква апликација која е користена при истражувањето во овој труд е Labview. Главната поента е да се присоберат што повеќе информации од било која сеизмичка побуда и притоа да се анализираат и проучат за да се што подобро дознае како работи сеизмичкиот бран. Можеби со анализа на високо процесирање ние можеме некако да ја „наслушнеме“ земјата од аспектот на сеизмичките побуди. Во овој труд се опишани некои од техниките користени за истражување на критичните карактеристики на таква природна катастрофа.

Користењето на дистрибуираните производители на електрична енергија, пред се засновани на обновливи енергетски ресурси претставува значаен исчекор кон економично и доверливо снабдување со електрична енергија особено за енергетски потрошувачи со скромни потреби и лоцирани подалеку од постоечките дистрибутивни енергетски мрежи, т.н. изолирани енергетски потрошувачи. Овој труд е всушност продолжение и надградба на комплементарниот труд за анализа на техничките можности и методологијата за избор на оптимално техничко решение за снабдување со електрична енергија кај изолирани потрошувачи. Користејќи го програмски пакет HOMER© направена е анализа на инвестициските и оперативните трошоци за еден конкретен изолиран енергетски потрошувач – викенд куќа која е оддалечена од најблиската дистрибутивна точка повеќе од 9 километри, со користење на неколку потенцијални дистрибуирани производители на енергија. Од добиените резултати може да се заклучи дека програмскиот пакет HOMER© може да се користи за анализа и определување на оптималното решение за снабдување со електрична енергија кај изолирани потрошувачи, преку користење на дистрибуирани производители на електрична енергија.

In this paper, we present digital signal processing of recorded earthquake motions. The paper describes all the techniques used for the whole process of signal processing. From the measured displacements at the ground (first) floor and at the roof of typical seven-story building and their processing, we can get valuable information about the strong ground shaking and the structural response. In many cases, Fourier transform from time to frequency domain provides more information about the signal. First, using FFT, we transform the measured displacements at basement and at the roof from time to frequency domain. The transformation at basement level, Fb(f), gives us valuable information about the frequency content of the strong ground motion. On the other side, the ratio of the Fourier transform at the roof and at the basement gives us so called transfer function, which reveals the natural frequencies of the building. To accomplish the above tasks, we use the software Labview. Labview enables constructing graphical environment that represents design and analysis of a DSP system in a very minor compared to text – based programming environments. The graphical environment in Labview consists of VI (virtual instrument) which is represented by a Front Panel (FP) and Block Diagram (BD). The BD incorporates the graphical code and the FP provides the user – interface of the program. The Vis is modular and independent, which means they can be run by itself.

An expert system (ES) is software that uses a knowledge base of human expertise for problem solving, or clarify uncertainties where normally one or more human experts would need to be consulted. Expert systems are most common in a specific problem domain, and are a traditional application and/or subfield of artificial intelligence (AI). Expert systems may or may not have learning components. One of the fundamental implementation areas is the medical diagnostics, most prominent being the automated ECG diagnostics since the ECG morphology is completely determined. The proposed ES relies on the standard 12-lead ECG set of relevant voltage deflections (amplitudes) and time segments and intervals (durations). Preliminary testing against ECG records promise high accuracy consistent with diagnostic opinions of expert cardiologists.

Photovoltaic (PV) conversion is one of the most important applications of renewable energy sources because of the direct conversion of solar energy to electric energy. Although PVs are more expensive compared to other types of energy converters, they have some advantages such as low weight and feasibility of small scales. Therefore, it is important to absorb the maximum solar energy in order to increase the efficiency of the energy converter. PV's absorption of the solar energy is incomplete mainly due to angle of incidence (resulting from both the daily sun motion and the seasonal trajectory differences) as well as the partial loss due to reflection off PV's surface. One way to increase efficiency is to optimize the angle of incidence by employing continuous solar tracking. This paper proposes a cheap PIC based embedded design calculating next optimal spatial orientation by using four LDR (light dependent resistor) sensors, and tracking that optimal orientation with a two-degrees of freedom stepper drive.

Современите системи за регулација на пумпните станици со повеќе пумпи потребно е да обезбедат константен и постојан притисок при променлив проток, избегнување на осцилации и промена на притисокот при вклучување на пумпите, меко стартување на пумпите со што се елиминираат механичките оштетувања, едноставен начин на поставување на параметрите и дијагностицирање на инсталацијата, избегнување на нестабилен режим на работа на пумпите (пумпање), избегнување на кавитационен режим на пумпите, економично решение. Исполнување на наведените барања во реалните системи не е можно без систем за автоматска регулација со повратна врска. Во практична примена најголем број на пумпни станици работат со: • Каскадна регулација која е пропратена со осцилации на притисокот. • Континуирана регулација на една пумпа, вклучување и исклучување на останатите пумпи во зависност од притисокот и протокот кој ги бара инсталацијата. Во трудот се предлага решение за поквалитетна работа на пумпните станици со еден фреквентен регулатор при што секоја пумпа се вклучува преку меко стартување преку фреквентниот регулатор. Регулација на притисокот се врши со промена на бројот на вртежи во зависност од зададениот и отчитаниот притисок од сензорот за притисок. Останатите пумпи се префрлуваат директно во мрежа откако ќе бидат залетани. Со трудот е опфатено изготвување на софтверска апликација за програмибилен логички контролер и софтверска апликација за графички терминал преку кој ќе се задаваат и отчитуваат работните параметри.

We live in a world of more and more intensive technical-technological development and use of automatic processing of data. There is almost no sphere in the human activity where the computer or one of the many microprocessors isn't involved. The big archives of data placed in the computer systems today are being used by a bigger number of users, while the bigger communication computer systems have risen the boundaries recently and become world ones. Concerning these kind of systems, the security of the same represents limiting element of the further development. Todays world is considered for an era of information and is characterised with mass comunication among people, business systems , countries and continents. Letters, books, daily press , telephone, radio , television and other contemporary means of communication, have accelerated the process of exchanging experience, knowledge and ideas.The advanced process of communication among people encouraged the faster development of scientific thinking and by that advancement of the entire humanity. This labour deals with the methodology of healing (recovering) of the computer system that experienced a crash for any reason. As we know, in Republic of Macedonia noone seriously deals with the problem of preparation of a plan for reaction in case of a computer system crash, steps that should be taken for recovering of the damaged computer system, i.e. reducung the harmful consequences. We hope that this labour will animated young enthusiasts to enter in these field of research.

Multidimensional signal processing (DSP) traditionally relays on the concepts of the Theory of linear systems and the FFT, as well as the rest of the transformations developed for similar purposes. Despite of their wide spread applications, still there are domains (like image processing, etc.) where they can not address directly the fundamental problems of quantification of shapes and geometrical structures in signals. On the other hand, Mathematical Morphology (MM) based on the set-theory provides a powerful methodology for image processing, and is able to rigorously quantify certain aspects of signals' geometrical structure that is compatible with human intuition and perception. MM techniques are based on set-oriented concepts, on nonlinear superposition of signals, and on a class of nonlinear systems under general name "morphological". MM is widely used in the Biomedicine and the Electron Microscopy, in the image processing and analysis, just as well as in the Automated Visual Inspection. Industrial applications of the named techniques are continuously accelerated by the constant development of the modern underlying computer technologies. MM introduces a novel approach in the digital image processing based on the shape, by simplifying the image (eliminating irrelevant details) and preserving targeted features. MM applications typically test 2D images with specifically designed patterns called Structural Elements (SE), used to match targeted shapes or features for the purpose of their extraction. Although natively belonging to the 2D space, this paper proposes an application for processing of 1D signals - specifically ECG biopotentials, being morphologically completely determined. By recognizing the key feature of the ECG - its baseline wander, it is possible to perform the standard ECG diagnostic analysis.

It was established in 1999 and it has been an irreplaceable tool in sanctioning cybercrime ever since. Good knowledge of computer forensics can be really helpful in uncovering a committed crime. Not adhering to the methodology of computer forensics, however, makes the obtained evidence invalid/irrelevant and as such it cannot be used in legal proceedings. This paper is to explain the methodology of implementing computer forensics in the way that one can obtain valid and indisputable evidence that can be used in the process of proving the committed crime. In the Republic of Macedonia there has been no serious investigation of this problem so far. This paper will hopefully inspire a number of young enthusiasts to delve into the field. Modern ITechnologies allows for limitless applications of DSP (digital signal processing) in the Biomedical Engineering, avoiding the once unavoidable analogue hardware conditioning and instrumentation pre-processing. This paper depicts two prominent applications of software processing in the fields of EEG and ECG.

Practical instrumentation setups are more or less always challenging due to the different platforms of Data Acquisition (DAQ) they usually embrace. The essential problem with the use of such hybrid setups is the synchronization of the DAQ on all the platforms used, as well as combining their data. This article depicts a solution for a 152-channel DAQ on a 40-ton biaxial shaking table for structural testing.

35/10 kV substation Dracevo operated for many years as part of the power distribution network of Skopje, the capital of the Republic of Macedonia. Due to the increase of the consummation, the substation was upgraded on 110 kV voltage level. The upgrade of the substation included 110kV switchyard and replacement of the existing 10kV switchyard with new enlarged indoor 10 kV switchgear. The project included installation of new automation system Sicam PAS for remote control of switchgear devices on 110 kV level as well as connection and data exchanging with local control system of 10 kV level. Complete hardware and software solution is product of company Siemens.
