Linked deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) hypermethylation investigations of promoter methylation levels of candidate genes may help to increase the progressiveness and mortality rates of juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia (JMML), which is a unique myelodysplastic/myeloproliferative neoplasm caused by excessive monocyte and granulocyte proliferation in infancy/early childhood. However, the roles of hypermethylation in this malignant disease are uncertain.Bone marrow samples from a JMML patient and peripheral blood samples from a healthy monozygotic twin and an unrelated healthy donor were collected with the informed consent of the participant's parents. Whole-genome bisulfite sequencing (WGBS) was then performed. Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathway analyses were performed to analyze specific differentially methylated region (DMG) related genes. The target genes were screened with Cytoscape and Search Tool for the Retrieval of Interacting Genes/Proteins (STRING), which are gene/protein interaction databases. An understanding of seismic reflections can be developed from depth trend analysis. Often, an average best fit line is generated across well data using quick facies cutoff and that basically summarize the depth trend analysis over an area. However, this approach may lead to misinterpretation of reservoir response especially in a complex geological setting. In this study, an integrated approach of rock physics diagnostic and traditional depth trend analysis is presented to identify different rock type clusters which in turn translates into different depth trends per cluster. This knowledge will then be applied to understand elastic response and facies prediction away from the well locations, as conceptualized in Figure 1. The main differences between the proposed workflow and conventional workflow are demonstrated in Figure 2 which strongly emphasizes rock physics crossplot diagnostics as an important step that segregates the well data into different rock physics clusters before any depth trend analysis. Using the proposed approach, interpreters will gain a better subsurface understanding of a formation for the same environment of deposition, reservoir response at different depth (from depth trend analysis) and appropriate attributes extraction for reservoir. Figure 2 Proposed workflow in comparison with conventional workflow In principle, subsurface rocks that were deposited within the same chronostratigraphic episode should have similar sediment source and compacted at similar rate within the same basin. Therefore, a normal compaction trend would be expected from diagnostic crossplot analysis unless impacted by other post depositional processes such as tectonic event, overpressures, cementations and diagenesis that could modify the rock physics relationships. In this paper, the proposed workflow focuses on facies evaluation within the same depositional environment using rock physics integrated depth trend approach. Segregation of wells into different clusters based on rock physics diagnostic crossplot was considered as the first step for this regional reservoir characterization work. This helps to correlate elastic properties with the petrophysical properties. A conceptual model of clustering exercises based on rock physics diagnostics is displayed in Figure 3. In the final step, depth compaction trend is developed and analyzed for each cluster. Figure 3 Different clusters identified from rock physics diagnostic exercise. (Conceptual Model) Potentially more than 1 cluster might be identified from rock physics diagnostic exercises and depth trend analysis will be debeloped per cluster. The depth trend could be extended into different fluid scenarios and potential AVO response at different depth could be developed, as shown in Figure 4. BEPC II is a double ring e+e− collider with high beam currents and luminosity, so the high beam-related backgrounds may disturb the detector. In order to have a good quality of data taking, backgrounds should be kept at a level as low as possible. A series of collimators are designed and installed in both the e+ and e− rings. Two of the collimators are horizontally movable, each for one ring, about 8 m upstream from the interaction point. Experiments have been done to identify the effectiveness of the movable collimators with different apertures and beam currents. The results show that the movable collimators are very effective and can reduce as much as about 50% of beam-related backgrounds.

A new fluorinated polystyrene bearing a p-substituted perfluoro[1-(2-fluorosulfonylethoxy)] ethyl group was synthesized via one-electron oxidation of polystyrene by perfluoro [2-(2-fluorosulfonylethoxy)] propionyl peroxide at different peroxide to polystyrene molar ratios. The yield of perfluoroalkylation decreases with the increase of the reactant molar ratio. The modified polymer has been characterized by various techniques: the ring perfluoro[l-(2-fluorosulfonylethoxy)] ethylation has been proved by FT-IR and 19F NMR; the X-ray photoelectron spectra (XPS) show the maximum binding energy of Fls, Ols Cls(two kinds of carbon atoms, namely C-H and C-F) and S2p, respectively; desulfonylation of the fluorinated polystyrene appearing at 217 °C has been found by its thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The determinations of contact angle, refractive index and glass transition temperature of the modified polymer have disclosed that when the contact angle increases with the increase of the molar ratio, the refractive index and glass transition temperature decrease. The polydispersity values indicate that the degradation of the polymer chains did not occur during the reaction.
