Background This study aims to investigate the risk factors for poor adherence to BP monitoring within 3 months after discharge from the hospital in postpartum discharged HDP patients. Likewise, females with hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDP) in China should have a blood pressure (BP) evaluation continuously for at least 42 days postpartum and have BP, urine routine, and lipid and glucose screening for 3 months postpartum. Methods This study is a prospective cohort study of postpartum discharged HDP patients. After telephone follow-up was conducted at 1 week, 6 weeks, and 12 weeks after discharge, the maternal demographic characteristics, labor and delivery details, laboratory test results of patients at admission, and adherence to BP monitoring after discharge were collected. While logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the factors related to poor adherence to BP monitoring, the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was drawn to evaluate the model’s predictive value for the poor adherence to BP monitoring. Results In this study, 272 females met the inclusion criteria, and poor adherence to BP monitoring was presented in 182 patients (66.9%). A multivariate logistic regression analysis identified the education level of high school or below (OR 2.787, 95% CI 1.452–5.351), parity (OR 1.622, 95% CI 1.007–2.612), and delivery gestational age (OR 1.254, 95% CI 1.053–1.493) as independent risk factors in predicting a poor adherence to BP monitoring. The ROC curve analysis indicated that the continuous variable delivery gestational age had a significant predictive value for the poor adherence to BP monitoring, which resulted in a cutoff point of 33.4 weeks. Parity had a limited predictive value, with a cutoff point of 2. The established prediction regression model combined education level, parity and delivery gestational age had the maximal area under the curve (AUC, AUC = 0.746) and better sensitivity (66.5%) and specificity (71.1%). Conclusion Poor adherence to BP monitoring is a common state in postpartum HDP patients after discharge. Females with an education level of high school or below, a parity of two or more, and delivered at gestational age ≥ 33.4 weeks were unlikely to adhere to BP monitoring after discharge.

By selecting the building blocks with different active sites, 4-formylphenylboronic acid (FBA), 3,3′,5,5′-tetrabromo-2,2′-benzothiophene (DDT) and N,N′,N′′,N′′′-tetra(p-phenylene)para-phenylenediamine (TABD), two conjugated microporous polymers (CMPs), SNCMP-1 and SNCMP-2, with multiple active sites were synthesized via a palladium(II)-catalyzed coupling reaction. They exhibited excellent performances in volatile iodine capture with iodine adsorption values of 570 and 698 wt%, respectively. In addition, SNCMP-1 and SNCMP-2 displayed outstanding CO2 adsorption capacities with uptakes up to 3894 and 3878 mg g−1 at 70 bar and 323 K conditions, respectively.

A tetraphenylethylene-based covalent organic framework (TTPE-COF) with a rhomboid-shaped framework is constructed by a Schiff base reaction. Due to its porous structure and high surface area (681.27 m2 g−1), the TTPE-COF will be a meritorious adsorbent for gas storage (CO2 of 485.89 mg g−1 at 45 bar/318 K) and volatile organic compound (VOC) capture (benzene of 5.80 mmol g−1 and toluene of 5.20 mmol g−1 at 293 K). Furthermore, the TTPE-COF has good selectivity and detection effect for Fe3+, and the detection limit (LOD) of Fe3+ is 3.07 μM. The TTPE-COF has potential applications in adsorbents and fluorescent sensors.

A novel 3D MOF [(Zn4O)(H2O)2(TPA)2]·8DMA (1) (H3TPA = 4,4′,4′′-nitrilotrisbenzoic acid; DMA = N,N-dimethylacetamide) with tetragonal nanochannels has been rationally obtained under solvothermal conditions using the fluorescent ligand H3TPA. MOF 1 demonstrates a unique (3,6)-connected network with nanosized square channels, displaying strong blue emission. Interestingly, 1 can be used as a fluorescent probe, which can detect nitroaromatic explosives efficiently and selectively via fluorescence quenching phenomena. As the number of –NO2 groups increase, fluorescence quenching becomes more obvious, which is maybe because the energy transfer from the electron-donating framework to electron-withdrawing nitroaromatic analytes becomes greater. Notably, the sensor is particularly sensitive to picric acid (PA), showing complete fluorescence quenching at a PA concentration as low as 30 ppm. MOF 1 can be recycled in the detection of nitroaromatic explosives with excellent recyclability. Additionally, the photo-induced electron transfer mechanism was validated through theoretical calculations for the fluorescence quenching.

The addition of olanzapine to fluoxetine produces an antidepressant effect on fluoxetine nonresponders. Promoting hippocampal neurogenesis is associated with the successful treatment of depression. The present study aimed to investigate the interaction of olanzapine and fluoxetine in regulating neurogenesis. We found that fluoxetine alone does not affect cell proliferation and inhibits the neuronal differentiation of cultured neural stem cells (NSCs), but promotes NSCs proliferation and exerts no effect on neuronal fate when NSCs are cocultured with neurons. In addition, fluoxetine alone also does not alter the neuronal fate of newborn hippocampal cells in vivo. Although fluoxetine treatment elicits different results, our data consistently show that olanzapine alone does not affect the proliferation and neuronal differentiation of NSCs. The combination of olanzapine and fluoxetine has no profound effect on NSCs proliferation compared with fluoxetine alone, but olanzapine add-on treatment produces a greater number and percentage of differentiated neurons from NSCs. Further investigations are needed to explore the underlying mechanisms of the increased neurogenesis caused by the combination of olanzapine with fluoxetine.

Herein, we present a rational strategy for the development of π-electron-enriched conjugated microporous polymers (CMPs) under mild conditions, aiming for the super-adsorption of iodine. Among them, TBTT-CMP@1 exhibits a superior iodine uptake up to 442 wt%. In addition, TBTT-CMP@3 displays outstanding CO2 adsorption capacity with uptake up to 1578 mg g−1 under 70 bar and 318 K conditions.

We present three novel conjugated microporous polymers (CMP@1–3), which were formed by an imidization reaction between tetra-(4-aminophenyl)ethylene and anhydrides. These CMPs exhibited high CO2 and organic vapor capture capacity.

Porous cationic covalent triazine-based frameworks (CTFs) with imidazolium salts as tectons were prepared via ionothermal synthesis. The high-PF6 - -content CTF shows the CO2 adsorption of 44.7 cm3 g-1 and I2 capture capacity of 312 wt %. The influence of counterion species and contents on the porosities, CO2 adsorptions, and I2 capture capacities of the CTFs has been investigated.

Herein we present a rational strategy for the design of a porous organic structure based on conjugated microporous polymers (CMPs), aiming for the super absorption of CO2. The porous skeleton netted with thiophene- and carbazole- polar building blocks exhibits a synergistic effect on the absorption of CO2; the polar moiety facilitates the interaction between CO2 and the porous materials, and the high surface area provides a large interface. Among them, the task specific copolymer SN@CMP-6, exhibits a superior CO2 uptake at 1.05 bar and 273 K (86.46 cm3 g−1). All of the copolymers show high isosteric heats of CO2 adsorption (38.6–59.8 kJ mol−1).

We present two novel porphyrin (Porp)-based conjugated microporous polymers (CMPs; Porp-TPE-CMP and Porp-Py-CMP), formed via an FeCl3-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction between pyrrole and aromatic aldehyde. The resultant CMPs exhibited high CO2 selectivity compared with N2 and CH4, and good capacity for organic vapors.

By modulating the reaction pH value, two new CoII compounds, [Co2(L)(biz)(OH)]·H2O (JLNU-5) and [Co(HL)(biz)] (JLNU-6) (H3L = 5-(4-carboxybenzyloxy)isophthalic acid, biz = benzimidazole, JLNU = Jilin Normal University), have been successfully synthesized under mild hydrothermal conditions. JLNU-5 displays a 2D layer 4-connected sql topolygy. JLNU-6 is a 2D sheet structure and (3,6)-connected net with (43)(46 · 66 · 83) topology. In addition, the magnetic property of JLNU-5 and JLNU-6 is investigated, which shows the antiferromagnetic behavior induced by the external field.

A fluorescent coordination polymer [Zn(H3TTA)(H2O)2]·2H2O (JLNU-3, JLNU = Jilin Normal University; H3TTA = [2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridine]-4,4′,4″-tricarboxylic acid) has been hydrothermally synthesized and carefully characterized. Particularly, stable suspension of JLNU-3 in aqueous solution showed significant quenching towards Hg2+. The quenching efficiency is up to 98% in the existence of 10−2 M Hg2+. JLNU-3 can be regenerative for 5 cycles by centrifugation of the solution after use and washing several times with H2O. In addition, JLNU-3 displays preeminent anti-interference ability and could be used for sensing in the systems with complicated components. Therefore, JLNU-3 can be used as a fluorescent probe for selective, sensitive and recyclable sensing of heavy-metal cation Hg2+ in aqueous solution.

A new stable Cd(II)-MOF [Cd(PBA)(pic)(H2O)]·H2O·0.5DMA (1) (HPBA = 4-(pyridin-4-yl) benzoic acid, Hpic = 2-picolinic acid, DMA = N, N'-dimethylacetamide) has been successfully constructed by solvothermal condition and characterized in detail. MOF 1 exhibits excellent chemical stability in water, which provides possible for sensing in water. The luminescent spectra demonstrate different to different metal cations. Notably, Fe3+ causes the highest fluorescence quenching, and the quenching efficiency is up to 96% at a concentration of 10−3 M Fe3+ in aqueous solution. Additionally, there was no obvious change in fluorescent quenching efficiency after 5 sensing cycles. Therefore, MOF 1 is expected to be used as a fluorescent probe for sensing Fe3+ in water with high selectivity, sensitivity, and recyclability.

A porphyrin-based two-dimensional covalent organic framework (TPE-Por-COF) with high stability was synthesized, and the adsorption performance of TPE-Por-COF on organic dyes was studied. The TPE-Por-COF was characterized by X-ray powder diffraction, infrared spectroscopy, solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance, thermogravimetry and N2 adsorption isotherms. TPE-Por-COF has adsorption effect on five dyes: malachite green (MG), methyl violet (MV) and rhodamine B (RhB), coomassie brilliant blue (CBB) and brilliant green (BG). Among them, TPE-Por-COF has the most obvious adsorption effect on malachite green, and the adsorption capacity is as high as 1428.57 ​mg ​g-1. In addition, the CO2 adsorption capacity of TPE-Por-COF is 187 ​mg ​g-1 at 50 ​bar and 323 ​K.

The adsorption of iodine by porous organic polymers is an active research topic. Two new thiol-linked conjugated microporous polymers (SHCMPs) were successfully prepared by thioalkynes click polymerization. Lone pair electrons of heteroatoms can enhance the interaction between adsorbent and adsorbate, the ability of adsorbent to capture iodine can be improved by introducing electron-rich groups such as nitrogen, thiophene, fluorine, etc. The saturated iodine adsorption capacities of SHCMP-1 and SHCMP-2 are 590 and 495 wt.%, respectively. In addition, SHCMP-2 performs well in detecting Fe3+ in aqueous solution, which has potential importance for industrial application of water treatment.

Covalent triazine skeletons (CTFs) are long-chain polymers with rigid hydrophobic aromatic skeletons and polar functional groups. Here, we selected three monomers to explore a series of stable CTFs (FCTFs, NCTFs, ClCTFs) with multiple active sites at 350 and 400 °C respectively, which can act as a porous platform for effective and reversible iodine capture. The iodine adsorption capacities of FCTF@350, NCTF@350, ClCTF@350, FCTF@400, NCTF@400 and ClCTF@400 are 285, 232, 231, 382, 372 and 340 wt%, respectively. Among them, the iodine capture capacities of FCTFs and NCTFs are higher than those of ClCTFs, which suggested that the introduction of electron-rich F and pyridine N groups can indeed improve the iodine adsorption capacity of the polymers. In addition, at 50 bar and 323 K, the CO2 capture capacity of FCTF@350, NCTF@350, ClCTF@350, FCTF@400, NCTF@400 and ClCTF@400 are 631.6, 539.2, 496.6, 876.6, 783.3, and 695.4 mg g−1, respectively. This shows that polymers have good applications in CO2 capture.

A luminescent coordination polymer, [Cd(H2biim)2SO4]·3H2O (JLNU-1, JLNU = Jilin Normal University); H2Biim = 2,2′-biimidazole, has been prepared by hydrothermal method and characterized by corresponding analytical tools. JLNU-1 exhibits outstanding chemical stability in aqueous solution and solvent-dependent luminescent behaviour. In particular, stable suspension of JLNU-1 in nitrobenzene showed highest quenching. The emission spectra were nearly completely quenched at a concentration of 100 ppm nitrobenzene in aqueous solution. JLNU-1 can be regenerative for 6 cycles by centrifugation of the solution after use and washing several times with H2O. Therefore, JLNU-1 can be used as a fluorescent probe for sensitive and recyclable sensing of small-molecule pollutant nitrobenzene in aqueous solution.

A luminescent MOF [(Zn4O)(L)(2,6-naphthalic acid)]·4H2O·DMF (JLNU-7, JLNU = Jilin Normal University, H4L = methanetetra(tetrakis[4-(carboxyphenyl)oxamethyl]-methane acid) has been hydrothermally synthesized and carefully characterized. The prepared JLNU-7 displayed permanent porosity in the air. Here we select a reasonable strategy to achieve efficient white-light emission by the combination of blue emission from JLNU-7 and yellow emission from [Ir(ppy)2(bpy)][PF6] (IrIII, Hppy = 2-phenylpyridine, bpy = 2,2ʹ-bipyridine). The blue-emitting JLNU-7 was synthesized as a platform for encapsulating yellow-emitting IrIII complex, namely IrIII@JLNU-7. IrIII@JLNU-7 displays white light emission with Commission International de I’Eclairage (CIE) coordinate of (0.323, 0.298) and high quantum yield up to 11.9%. This strategy may promote the development and application of white phosphors with high performance in the practical lighting.

A series of phenylene-based conjugated microporous polymers (CMPs) of the A6 + Mx (x = 2, 3, 4, 6) type were synthesized. By tuning the monomer length and geometry, the BET surface area of CMPs can be tuned from 571 to 1115 m2 g−1. Amongst the synthesized CMPs, A6CMP-1 exhibits the highest CO2 adsorption capacity of 1218 mg g−1 at 318 K and 60 bar pressure. In addition, A6CMP-4 shows a high selectivity ratio of 47 for CO2/N2.

The preparation and sorption properties of thiophene-based conjugated microporous polymers (CMPs) have been reported. The BET surface area of these porous polymers varied between 622 and 911 m2 g−1, and SCMP-COOH@1 showed an excellent CO2 uptake capacity of 817 mg g−1 at 318 K under 60 bar pressure. In addition, SCMPs show good adsorption selectivity for CO2 over N2 and CH4.

A novel polymerization mechanism transformation strategy, combining ring-opening metathesis polymerization (ROMP) and visible light induced cationic polymerization, is successfully applied for the synthesis of polyethylene-graft-poly(cyclohexene oxide) (PE-g-PCHO). First, cis-cyclooctene (COE) was polymerized via ROMP in the presence of a chain transfer agent and quantitatively hydrobrominated to give bromo functional polyethylene (PE-Br). Subsequent irradiation of PE-Br in the visible range using dimanganese decacarbonyl (Mn-2(CO)(10)) and diphenyl iodonium hexafluorophosphate (Ph2I+PF6) as radical generator and oxidant, respectively, initiated cationic polymerization of cyclohexene oxide (CHO) resulting in the formation of PE-g-PCHO. The effect of irradiation time and Mn-2(CO)(10) concentration on the grafting density and efficiency was evaluated. Both the precursor polymers and the corresponding graft copolymers were characterized by H-1 NMR and Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, gel-permeation chromatography (GPC), and differential scanning calorimetric (DSC) analyses.

Three tailored ansa-type Zr(IV)- and Hf(IV)-complexes, Zr-1, Hf-1 and Zr-2, all bridged by a dimethylsilylene group and bearing both a 6-[2-(BR2)phenyl]pyrid-2-yl motif (R = ethyl, mesityl) and an η1/η5-bound ligand with different Lewis base character and steric demand, have been synthesized. Their structures have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Upon activation with methylalumoxane (MAO), Zr-1, Hf-1 and Zr-2 are capable of polymerizing norborn-2-ene (NBE) via ring-opening metathesis polymerization (ROMP). In the MAO-activated copolymerization of ethylene (E) with NBE; however, pure vinyl insertion polymerization (VIP)-derived poly(NBE)-co-poly(E) is obtained by Zr-1, Hf-1 and the model pre-catalyst (Zr-3), which does not contain the borylamino motif. In contrast, Zr-2 yields copolymers containing both ROMP- and VIP-derived poly(NBE)ROMP-co-poly(NBE)VIP-co-poly(E) units via an α-H elimination process. Variable-temperature 11B NMR measurements allow for identifying tri- and tetracoordinated borane species. The propensity of catalysts Zr-1, Hf-1, Zr-2 and Zr-3 to switch from VIP to ROMP is discussed on the basis of their structural differences. A detailed NMR study of the reaction of Zr-1, Zr-2, Hf-1 and in particular of dimethylsilylene-bis(6-[2-(diethylboryl)phenyl]pyrid-2-ylamido)ZrCl2 (Zr-4) with MAO and with MAO/NBE clarifies the reaction cascade from VIP to ROMP and allows for establishing a general concept for a tailored switch from VIP to ROMP within the same polymer chain, allowing for tandem VIP–ROMP copolymerization of E with NBE.

A series of Zr IV and Ti IV complexes containing the 6-(2-(diethylboryl)phenyl)pyridyl-2-yl motif are used in the methylalumoxane-triggered copolymerization of ethylene (E) with norborn2-ene (NBE). 13 C NMR analyses reveal that vinyl insertion polymerization (VIP)-derived poly(E)- co -poly(NBE) is obtained with pre-catalysts 1–4 and 6 , while pre-catalyst 5 allows for the synthesis of a copolymer that contains both VIP- and ring-opening metathesis polymerization (ROMP)derived structures. All the VIP-derived poly(E)- co -poly(NBE) sequences show predominantly isolated NBE/alternating-syndiotactic E-NBE, as well as alternating-isotactic E-NBE sequences. The microstructure of the copolymers is correlated with the propensity of the pre-catalysts to allow tandem ROMP-VIP.

ZrIV complexes of the type [Me2 Si{(NR)(6-{2-(diethylboryl)phenyl}pyridyl-2-yl-N)}ZrCl2 ⋅thf] (R=tBu (4), adamantyl (7 a); thf=tetrahydrofuran), [Me2 Si{(NAd)(6-{2-(diphenylboryl)phenyl}pyridyl-2-yl-N)}ZrCl2 ] (Ad=adamantyl (7 b)), the nonbridged half-titanocene complexes of the type [(N-{6-(2-diethylborylphenyl)pyrid-2-yl}-NR)Cp'TiCl2 ] (R=Me, Cp'=C5 H5 (12), Cp'=C5 Me5 (13)), and the titanium(IV)-based metallocene-type complex [bis{N-(6-{2-(diethylboryl)phenyl}pyrid-2-yl)NMe}TiCl2 ] (14) have been synthesized. The structures of complexes 7 b, 12, and 13 were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. In solution, complex 4 slowly rearranges to [Me2 Si{(N-tBu)(6-{2-(diethylboryl)phenyl}pyridyl-2-yl-N)}2 Zr] (4 a), the structure of which was unambiguously confirmed by single-crystal X-ray crystallography. Similarly, reaction of HfCl4 with Me2 Si({RNLi}{6-[2-(diethylboryl)phenyl]pyridyl-2-ylNLi}) yielded the corresponding HfIV complexes [Me2 Si{(NR)(6-{2-(diethylboryl)phenyl}pyridyl-2-ylN)}2 Hf] (R=tBu (8) and Ad (9)). Upon activation of these complexes with methylalumoxane (MAO), complexes 4, 7 a, 7 b, and 12-14 showed activities up to 750 kg of polyethylene (PE)/molcat. bar h in the homopolymerization of ethylene (E), producing mainly linear PE (high-density PE, HDPE) with molecular weights in the range of 1 800 000

Three novel ruthenium(II) complexes, RuX2(IMesH2)[N,N-diethyl-N′-(2-benzylidene)triazene] [IMesH2 = 1,3-dimesitylimidazolin-2-ylidene; X = Cl– (2), CF3COO– (3), C6F5COO– (4)] are described. Single-crystal X-ray structure analysis of compounds 2–4 revealed that the triazene ligand exists in the trans form and that the aryl-connected nitrogen atom of the triazene binds to the ruthenium atom to form a five-membered chelate ring. Compounds 2–4 were applied to the UV-induced ring-opening metathesis polymerization (ROMP) of cis-cyclooctene (5) and dicyclopentadiene (6). Whereas all three precatalysts show pronounced thermal latency in the presence of 5 or 6, only compound 2 displays significant photo-ROMP activity. The photoreactivity of precatalysts 2–4, which decreases with increasing electron-withdrawing character and with decreasing pKa of the X groups, is discussed and correlated with the X-ray data of 2–4, with low-temperature 1H NMR measurements as well as with cyclovoltammetric measurements.

Polyethylene-graft-poly(tert-butylacrylate) (PE-g-PtBA) copolymers were prepared by using a combination of ring-opening metathesis polymerization (ROMP), hydrobromination, and visible light-induced free radical polymerization. First, cis-cyclooctene was polymerized via ROMP in the presence of a chain transfer agent and quantitatively hydrobrominated. Poly(tert-butyl acrylate) (PtBA) chains were then grown via a grafting from approach from the Br-substituted linear poly(ethylene) (PE) backbone using dimanganese decacarbonyl (Mn2(CO)10) under visible light. The effect of Mn2(CO)10 concentration and irradiation time on the grafting density and efficiency was evaluated. The tert-butyl acrylate (tBA) esters of the graft copolymers were hydrolyzed into acrylic acid functionalities by acidolysis to obtain hydrophilic polyolefins. The precursor polymer, graft copolymer, and hydrolyzed polymer were characterized by 1H and 13C NMR, Fourier transform infrared, atomic force microscopy, and contact angle measurements.

2 Functional polyolefi ns are prepared from poly-CPE via ROMP by the action of a designed Rualkylidene initiator followed by quantitative hydroboration with 9-borabicyclo[3.3.1]nonane. The borylated polymers prepared in this way are then converted into hydroxy-, amino-, and silyloxy-functionalized polyolefi ns. With increasing polarity of the substituents, the glasstransition temperatures of the modifi ed polymers increase signifi cantly. Perhydrobrominated poly-CPE is prepared from polyCPE and HBr and subjected to Cu(I)-mediated ATRP-based grafting to yield poly( tert -butyl acrylate)-grafted polyethylene (PE). The synthetic routes reported here present a straightforward access to functional and polar olefi ns.

Poly(cis-cyclooctene) is synthesized via ring-opening metathesis polymerization in the presence of a chain-transfer agent and quantitatively hydrobrominated. Subsequent graft polymerization of tert-butyl acrylate (tBA) via Cu-catalyzed atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) from the non-activated secondary alkyl bromide moieties finally results in PE-g-PtBA copolymer brushes. By varying the reaction conditions, a series of well-defined graft copolymers with different graft densities and graft lengths are prepared. The maximum extent of grafting in terms of bromoalkyl groups involved is approximately 80 mol%. DSC measurements on the obtained graft copolymers reveal a decrease in T(m) with increasing grafting density.
