Creativity is essential for the sustainable development of both individuals and organizations. The constant permeation of technology into everyday life is expected to facilitate the cultivation of creativity. To date, no consistent answer has been reached regarding the effect of technology on creativity. This study conducted a three-level random-effects meta-analysis to explore this question. An examination of a sample of 50 studies with 322 effect sizes yielded a moderate positive effect (g = 0.59, 95% CI [0.38, 0.81]). Moderation analysis revealed that the effect was moderated by human-computer interaction, domain, measures of creativity, study design, intervention time, and randomization. Specifically, technologies requiring human-computer interaction led to a greater effect size than those requiring only passive watching. A larger effect was found for creativity in math than in other domains. Effects on originality, elaboration, and overall creativity were greater than those on fluency and flexibility. The effect was larger for studies using a pretest-posttest control group design than those using a posttest control group design. Experiments using a quasi-experimental rather than a randomized experimental design resulted in a lower effect size. Technology interventions spanning a medium or long period displayed a greater positive effect than short-term interventions. These findings confirmed the positive effect of technology on creativity, providing practical implications for creativity educators and researchers.

Little research has been done to examine how different personality traits (both 'positive' and less desirable attributes) contribute to various aspects of creativity from a domain-specific point of view. The present study thus aimed to investigate the relationships between two types of personality traits (the Big Five and the Dark Triad traits) and three types of indicators of creativity (divergent thinking, creative activities, and creative achievements) among 559 university-level Chinese students. Results indicated that Openness served as a common core of both creative potential (divergent thinking) and real-life creativity (creative activities and achievements) at almost all levels and domains. Extraversion, Conscientiousness, and Agreeableness were found to be significant predictors of real-life creativity in specific domains and levels (i.e., literature and sports). No significant relationship was found between Neuroticism and any indicator of creativity after controlling for the other Big Five traits. Compared to the Big Five traits, the Dark Triad traits had limited influence on creativity, with only Machiavellianism being a significant and positive predictor of literary and performance activities, and Narcissism being a significant and positive predictor of originality. Teachers can be biased, especially toward low achievers and students with behavioral issues. However, creative students often appear to be disruptive in the classroom, and many of them struggle academically. The purpose of the present study was to examine the extent to which teachers' perceptions of students' creativity is associated with students' academic achievement and classroom (mis)behaviors, as well as to examine the interaction between these two factors. Three hundred and fifty-four eighth-grade students selected from five middle schools in China participated in this study. Using achievement scores, peer nominations, a divergent thinking test, a self-rated ideational behavior scale, and teacher ratings, the present study found that, whereas creativity has no significant relationship with teachers' perceptions, academic achievements and misbehavior are significantly associated within structors' perceptions. The achievement bias resulted in the underestimation of low achievers' creativity, even when the low achievers were highly creative. More nuances emerged when student misbehaviors were considered. Specifically, misbehaving low achievers' originality was further underestimated even when they were highly original. In contrast, teachers overestimated well-behaved high achievers' creativity, even when the students comprised the lowest creativity group. The results are further discussed from a socio-cultural perspective.

Background: Hepatic alterations are common aftereffects of heart failure (HF) and ventricular dysfunction. The prognostic value of liver injury markers derived from cardiac MRI studies in nonischemic dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) patients is unclear. Purpose: Evaluate the prognostic performance of liver injury markers derived from cardiac MRI studies in DCM patients. Study Type: Prospective. Population: Three hundred fifty‐six consecutive DCM patients diagnosed according to ESC guidelines (age 48.7 ± 14.2 years, males 72.6%). Field Strength/Sequence: Steady‐state free precession, modified Look‐Locker inversion recovery T1 mapping and phase sensitive inversion recovery late gadolinium enhancement (LGE) sequences at 3 T. Assessment: Clinical characteristics, conventional MRI parameters (ventricular volumes, function, mass), native myocardial and liver T1, liver extracellular volume (ECV), and myocardial LGE presence were assessed. Patients were followed up for a median duration of 48.3 months (interquartile range 42.0–69.9 months). Primary endpoints included HF death, sudden cardiac death, heart transplantation, and HF readmission; secondary endpoints included HF death, sudden cardiac death, and heart transplantation. Models were developed to predict endpoints and the incremental value of including liver parameters assessed. Statistical Tests: Optimal cut‐off value was determined using receiver operating characteristic curve and Youden method. Survival analysis was performed using Kaplan–Meier and Cox proportional hazard. Discriminative power of models was compared using net reclassification improvement and integrated discriminatory index. P value <0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: 47.2% patients reached primary endpoints; 25.8% patients reached secondary endpoints. Patients with elevated liver ECV (cut‐off 34.4%) had significantly higher risk reaching primary and secondary endpoints. Cox regression showed liver ECV was an independent prognostic predictor, and showed independent prognostic value for primary endpoints and long‐term HF readmission compared to conventional clinical and cardiac MRI parameters. Data Conclusions: Liver ECV is an independent prognostic predictor and may serve as an innovative approach for risk stratification for DCM. All-inorganic CsPbBr3 perovskite solar cells have garnered extensive attention in the photovoltaic domain due to their remarkable environmental stability. Nevertheless, CsPbBr3 prepared using the conventional sequential deposition method suffers from issues such as inferior crystallinity, low phase purity, and poor film morphology. Herein, we propose a pre-crystallization methodology by introducing a minute quantity of CsBr into the PbBr2 precursor solution to generate a small amount of CsPb2Br5 crystals within the PbBr2 film, leading to a porous PbBr2 film with enhanced crystallinity. Under the influence of more pores and CsPb2Br5 crystals as nucleation sites for inducing growth, a CsPbBr3 film with a larger crystal size, lower grain boundary density, stronger crystallinity, and higher phase purity is formed. Compared with untreated devices, photovoltaic devices prepared using the pre-crystallization method achieved a champion photovoltaic conversion efficiency (PCE) of 8.62%. Furthermore, pre-crystallized devices demonstrate higher stability than untreated ones and can still retain 94% of the original PCE after being exposed to air for 1000 h without encapsulating. A novel and comprehensive resource utilization technology involving the production of biomass fuel rods and the creation of water-retaining and loose media derived from food waste has been developed as a result of the increased focus on the efficient utilization of resources derived from food waste in recent years. This technical procedure produced a novel wastewater stream that was identified as food waste squeezing liquid. The study was primarily concerned with examining the effects of temperature on the anaerobic fermentation method used to produce methane from food waste squeezing liquid and with examining changes in the microbial population during the fermentation process. After 53 days of anaerobic fermentation at the ideal temperature 47 °C, 17 220 mL of gas were produced overall, with peak methane production accounting for 70%~75% of the total gas output. This peak methane production was 2.5 times higher than that observed at 37 °C. It's interesting to note that after the fifth day of fermentation, no methane generation was seen at temperatures of 27 °C, 57 °C, and 67 °C. After performing high-throughput sequencing on the 16S rDNA, the relative abundance of unclassified_d_Bacteria decreased significantly from 83.92% to only 24.16% during fermentation under low oxygen conditions. Under strict anaerobic conditions, the proportion of Clostridium increased dramatically from a mere percentage of just 0.93% to as high as 44.75%, but it eventually dropped down to 5.40% after concluding the fermentation experiment. Subsequently, the relative abundance of unclassified_d_Bacteria rebounded and rose sharply from 24.16% to 68.12%. The findings of this study offer valuable insights into the optimization of anaerobic fermentation temperature selection and the choice of bacterial strains applicable in the practical engineering implementation of food waste squeezing liquid. The Amusement Park Theory of Creativity, which represents both domain-specific and domain-general perspectives of creativity, calls for more research on how individual difference constructs are related to creativity at all ends of the domain-specificity and general spectrum. Toward this goal, this study examined emotional intelligence (using the Emotional Intelligence Scale) in relationship with both a domain-general measure (the Abbreviated Torrance Test for Adults) and a domain-specific measure (Kaufman Domains of Creativity Scale) in a sample of 281 Chinese undergraduates. Although emotional intelligence demonstrated no relationship with divergent thinking, it did positively predict all five domains of creativity on the self-report measure (ranging from 0.52 to 0.77). These findings add to the nuanced relationship between emotional intelligence and creativity and serve as a call for more work of this nature.

A main purpose of the present study was to examine and compare attitudes toward inclusive education between parents of children with ASD, parents of typically developing children, and classroom teachers in China. The investigators also sought to explore factors influencing different stakeholders' perspectives. An attitude survey was distributed to 14 institutions in Shanghai and Anhui Province in China, including four kindergartens, two elementary schools, four special schools, and four private training agencies. Seven hundred and twelve responses were received, including 170 from parents of children with ASD, 337 from parents of typically developing children, and 197 from classroom teachers. Both multivariate and univariate analyses were conducted to compare differences in attitudes between groups. The results indicate that parents of children with ASD held the most positive attitudes toward inclusion, whereas classroom teachers held the least positive attitudes toward the inclusion of children with ASD. Further analyses revealed that not only were adults' attitudes influenced by their identities as parents or teachers, but their background may also influence how they perceive inclusive education. The findings of the study provided a comprehensive view on how different parties perceive inclusive education of ASD. It also provided empirical evidence that inclusion generally has a positive impact on people's attitudes toward ASD. Implications and suggestions for future research and practices were further discussed in the paper.
