The power grid of a multi-electric aircraft is a typical isolated island microgrid with a wide frequency range from 360 to 800 Hz. The dynamic performance of the traditional constant-frequency power grid synchronization method is insufficient in the variable frequency power grid of the multi-electric aircraft. An adaptive enhanced complex-coefficient filter-based phase locked loop (AECCF-PLL) is designed for the variable frequency power grid by integrating an adaptive module into the enhanced complex-coefficient filter-based phase locked loop to accurately estimate the state of variable frequency power grid. The relationship between the transfer function and the step response is analyzed. The relationship between the model parameters and the frequency is derived, and the frequency adaptive module is established to meet the requirements for stability and rapidity in the state estimation of the variable frequency power grid. The experimental results show that the proposed AECCF-PLL can achieve the rapid and stable estimation of the state of the variable frequency power grid when there are disturbances such as large or small frequency jumps, harmonics and slopes.

BackgroundIt is significant to identificate complex biological mechanisms of various diseases in biomedical research. Recently, the growing generation of tremendous amount of data in genomics, epigenomics, metagenomics, proteomics, metabolomics, nutriomics, etc., has resulted in the rise of systematic biological means of exploring complex diseases. However, the disparity between the production of the multiple data and our capability of analyzing data has been broaden gradually. Furthermore, we observe that networks can represent many of the above-mentioned data, and founded on the vector representations learned by network embedding methods, entities which are in close proximity but at present do not actually possess direct links are very likely to be related, therefore they are promising candidate subjects for biological investigation.ResultsWe incorporate six public biological databases to construct a heterogeneous biological network containing three categories of entities (i.e., genes, diseases, miRNAs) and multiple types of edges (i.e., the known relationships). To tackle the inherent heterogeneity, we develop a heterogeneous network embedding model for mapping the network into a low dimensional vector space in which the relationships between entities are preserved well. And in order to assess the effectiveness of our method, we conduct gene-disease as well as miRNA-disease associations predictions, results of which show the superiority of our novel method over several state-of-the-arts. Furthermore, many associations predicted by our method are verified in the latest real-world dataset.ConclusionsWe propose a novel heterogeneous network embedding method which can adequately take advantage of the abundant contextual information and structures of heterogeneous network. Moreover, we illustrate the performance of the proposed method on directing studies in biology, which can assist in identifying new hypotheses in biological investigation.

Thaumatin-like proteins (TLPs) in plants are involved in diverse biotic and abiotic stresses, including antifungal activity, low temperature, drought, and high salinity. However, the roles of the TLP genes are rarely reported in early flowering. Here, the TLP gene family was identified in P. trichocarpa. The 49 PtTLP genes were classified into 10 clusters, and gene structures, conserved motifs, and expression patterns were analyzed in these PtTLP genes. Among 49 PtTLP genes, the PtTLP6 transcription level is preferentially high in stems, and GUS staining signals were mainly detected in the phloem tissues of the PtTLP6pro::GUS transgenic poplars. We generated transgenic Arabidopsis plants overexpressing the PtTLP6 gene, and its overexpression lines showed early flowering phenotypes. However, the expression levels of main flowering regulating genes were not significantly altered in these PtTLP6-overexpressing plants. Our data further showed that overexpression of the PtTLP6 gene led to a reactive oxygen species (ROS) burst in Arabidopsis, which might advance the development process of transgenic plants. In addition, subcellular localization of PtTLP6-fused green fluorescent protein (GFP) was in peroxisome, as suggested by tobacco leaf transient transformation.
