The Lower Cretaceous Xiagou Formation contains the major source rocks for the crude oils discovered in the Qingxi Sag and the South Uplift in the Jiuquan Basin, northwestern China. The Xiagou Formation source rock was formed in a closed, anoxic, reducing, alkaline lacustrine environment with a high salinity. Its high content of brittle minerals is favorable for the fracturing of reservoirs in source rock formations in the Qingxi Sag. The Xiagou Formation contains a great number of fair to excellent source rocks, and their organic matter (OM) came chiefly from plankton/algae and high plants as well as possibly bacterial organisms. The Xiagou Formation source rocks mainly contain Type II OM and some Type III and Type I OM, with good oil-generating potential. The source rock maturity is mainly in the early-mature and mature stages, and its Ro value corresponding to oil peak is about 0.8%, which is lower than classic oil peak Ro value of 1.0%; therefore, a great deal of hydrocarbon was generated before the classic oil peak Ro = 1.0%. Mature source rock in the Xiagou Formation tends to be distributed in the older members and at a greater depth. There is a better exploration potential of tight oil in the deep Qingxi Sag.

The sources and enrichment of organic matter in a sediment core in the first member of the Xiagou Formation (K1g1) from the Chang 2-2 borehole of the Jiuquan Basin, NW China, have been examined using Rock–Eval, maceral, carbon isotopes and biomarker data. This data indicates that highly variable organic matter sources and preservation conditions in response to climate change. TOC content, HI, and δ13C value were strongly correlated with the abundance of gammacerane, woody organic matter content, steranes/hopanes ratio, and C29 sterane content. This correlation demonstrates the importance that the control of the salinity of the depositional environment and organic matter sources can have upon the enrichment, type, and carbon isotopic composition of organic matter. In the Jiuquan Basin’s relatively high temperature and arid climate, high salinity lakes with high primary productivity of algae, planktons, and bacteria, and good organic matter preservation conditions (anoxic bottom water) resulted in the enrichment of isotopically-light algae-bacterial organic matter. In the Jiuquan Basin’s regions with a relatively low temperature and wet climate, fresh lakes with low primary productivity of algae, planktons, and bacteria received significant terrigenous high plants input, resulting in the deposition of a low abundance of isotopically heavier terrestrial organic matter.

An efficient organic solar cell is demonstrated using a solution-processed phosphorescence-doped electron extraction layer (PDEEL) as the complementary optical response layer, which can absorb the ultraviolet light and reemit green light, and eventually be utilized by the active layer. Besides, the optimized PDEEL is also demonstrated as an efficient interfacial layer, which exhibits a super energy match and leads to the enhancement of electron collection ability. As a result, a 39.5% enhancement of power conversion efficiency is achieved from 3.39% to 4.73%, which is attributed to the effective utilization of high-energy photons and the improved electrical properties by PDEEL.

Experiments show that the model for predicting the efficiency of security incidents has reached more than 85% effective in reducing the occurrence of security incidents.

Significantly enhanced performances of semitransparent inverted organic photovoltaic devices have been realized by simply introducing a high reflector structure, which comprises several pairs of MoO3/LiF with a thickness of 60 nm for MoO3 and 90 nm for LiF, respectively. After optimizing the reflector structure, the enhanced light harvesting is achieved, and thus the increased optical current is obtained. The short-circuit current density (JSC) and power conversion efficiency (PCE) are increased to 10.9 mA cm(-2) and 4.32%, compared to 8.09 mA cm(-2) and 3.36% in the control device. This leads to a 30% enhancement in PCE. According to the experimental and simulated results, the improved performance is attributed to the effective reflection of light at the wavelength from 450 to 600 nm, which corresponds to the absorption range of the active layer. The demonstrated light-trapping approach is expected to be an effective method to realize the high efficiency in semitransparent organic photovoltaic devices.

In order to solve the problems of high false alarm rate and fail rate in intrusion detection system of Computer Integrated Process System (CIPS) network, this paper takes advantage that Genetic Algorithm (GA) possesses overall optimization seeking ability and neural network has formidable approaching ability to the non-linear mapping to propose an intrusion detection model based on Genetic Algorithm Neural Network (GANN) with self-learning and adaptive capacity, which includes data collection module, data preprocessing module, neural network analysis module and intrusion alarm module. To overcome the shortcomings that GA is easy to fall into the extreme value and searches slowly, it improves the adjusting method of GANN fitness value and optimizes the parameter settings of GA. The improved GA is used to optimize BP neural network. Simulation results show that the model makes the detection rate of the system enhance to 97.11%.

Oxygen vacancy in tungsten oxide (WOX) is critical to the interface energetics for charge injection and transport in organic electronic devices. Here, we systematically studied the impact of oxygen vacancy on electronic structures of the WOX/organic hole-transport layer interface via photoemission spectroscopy. The partial reduction of W cations and a decrease in its work function were observed by controlling the degree of oxygen vacancies in WOX with thermal annealing, which are due to the partial filling of the unoccupied 5d orbitals. The increase in oxygen deficiency caused the increase of hole-injection barrier at WOX/organic interfaces.

Oxygen vacancies in MoOx play an essential role in interface energetics for charge injection and transport in organic devices. The influence of oxygen vacancy on energy-level alignment at the interface between MoOx and organic hole-transport layers is studied via photoemission spectroscopy. The degree of oxygen vacancies in MoOx is controlled by thermal annealing, which results in the partial reduction of Mo cations and a decrease in their work function. The hole-injection barrier at MoOx/organic interfaces increases as a consequence of the increase in oxygen deficiency.

Enhanced performance of polymer solar cells is reported by incorporating a solution-processed luminescent down-shifting (LDS) sensitizer, which is composed of a C545T fluorescent molecule doped tris(8-quinolinolato) aluminum (C545T:Alq3). An optimized LDS sensitizer can result in ∼15% enhancement in power conversion efficiency than the reference device with pristine Alq3. The performance enhancement is associated with the increase in photocurrent induced by LDS sensitizer, which is capable of absorbing short-wavelength solar spectrum and re-emitting long-wavelength light, which is complementary with the absorption spectrum of the active layer. This method provides a facile approach for high-performance polymer solar cell designs.

The enhanced performance of inverted polymer solar cells enabled by a plasmonic backscattering effect is reported upon. To produce localized surface plasmons (LSPs) at the rear anode, thermally deposited Ag nanoparticles (NPs) are embedded in the MoO3 hole extraction layer. Upon optimizing the MoO3/Ag NPs/MoO3 sandwich structure, enhanced light harvesting is achieved via plasmonic backscattering into the photoactive layer of poly(3-hexylthiophene)/[6,6]-phenyl-C61 butyric acid methyl ester (P3HT:PCBM), resulting in an increase in photocurrent without sacrificing electrical properties, and ∼20% enhancement in power conversion efficiency, of 4.32% vs. 3.61% of the reference device. The performance improvement of the inverted PSCs is ascribed to the enhanced light absorption as a result of the light backscattering as well as the excitation of LSPs induced by Ag NPs embedded in the MoO3 layer. The present method provides a promising pathway for the fabrication of high-efficiency PSCs in an inexpensive and scalable way.
