Although there has been progress in improving endoscopic sinus surgery (ESS), patients undergoing ESS are still at risk of postoperative bleeding. Little attention has been given to identifying specific risk factors for postoperative bleeding after ESS to treat chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS).The aim of this study was to identify the incidence and risk factors associated with postoperative bleeding in patients who underwent ESS to treat CRS.Six hundred and five patients with CRS who underwent ESS between 2017 and 2020 were included in this retrospective analysis. Univariate and multivariate analysis was performed to assess the association between the incidence of postoperative bleeding and the background characteristics.Out of 605 ESSs, 36 (6.0%) patients developed postoperative bleeding. Multiple logistic regression revealed that the use of antiplatelet and/or anticoagulant drugs, the presence of hypertension and the Lund-Mackay CT score were significantly correlated with the occurrence of postoperative bleeding.Postoperative bleeding is a common complication following ESS. The risk factors for postoperative bleeding were as follows: the use of antiplatelet and/or anticoagulant drugs, hypertension and the Lund-Mackay CT score.

Control of various factors, including mineral components, primary productivity and redox level, on the total organic carbon (TOC) in the lower Cambrian black shale from southeastern margin of Upper Yangtze (Taozichong, Longbizui and Yanbei areas) is discussed in detail in this article. Mineral components in the study strata are dominated by quartz and clay minerals. Quartz in the Niutitang Formation is mainly of biogenic origin, and the content is in positive correlation with TOC, while the content of clay minerals is negatively correlated with TOC. Primary productivity, represented by the content of Mobio (biogenic molybdenum), Babio (biogenic barium) and phosphorus, is positively correlated with TOC. The main alkanes in studied samples are nC18–nC25, and odd–even priority values are closed to 1 (0.73–1.13), which suggest the organic matter source was marine plankton. Element content ratios of U/Th and Ni/Co and compound ratio Pr/Ph indicate dysoxic–anoxic bottom water, with weak positive relative with TOC. In total, three main points can be drawn to explain the relationship between data and the factors affecting organic accumulation: (1) quartz-rich and clay-mineral-poor deep shelf–slope–basin environment was favorable for living organisms; (2) high productivity provided the material foundation for organic generation; (3) the redox conditions impact slightly on the content of organic matter under high productivity and dysoxic–anoxic condition.

The Xigaze forearc sediments revealed the part of the tectonomagmatic history of the Gangdese arc that the bedrocks did not record. However, the sediments’ development is restricted to the region around and west of Xigaze City. Whether the eastern segment of the arc had a corresponding forearc basin is yet to be resolved. In this study, a field-based stratigraphic study, detrital zircon U-Pb geochronology (15 samples), and Hf isotopic analyses (11 of the 15 samples) were carried out on four sections in the Milin-Zedong area, southeast Tibet. The analytical results revealed the existence of three distinct provenances. The lower sequence is characterized by fine-grained sandstone, interbedded mudstone, and some metamorphic rocks (e.g., gneiss and schist). The detrital zircon U-Pb age distribution of this sequence is analogous to those of the Carboniferous-Permian strata and metasediments of the Nyingtri group in the Lhasa terrane. The middle and upper sequences are predominantly composed of medium- to coarse-grained volcaniclastic/quartzose sandstones, which are generally interbedded with mudstone. The detrital zircon U-Pb ages and Hf isotope signatures indicate that the middle sequences are Jurassic to Early Cretaceous in age (~200–100 Ma) and show clear affinity with the Gangdese arc rocks, that is, positive εHft values. In contrast, the upper sequences are characterized by Mesozoic detrital zircons (150–100 Ma) and negative εHft values, indicative of derivation from the central Lhasa terrane. The overall compositions of the detrital zircon U-Pb ages and Hf isotopes of the middle to upper sequences resemble those of the Xigaze forearc sediments, implying that related forearc sediments may have been developed in the eastern part of the Gangdese arc. It is possible that the forearc equivalents were eroded or destroyed during the later orogenesis. Additionally, the detrital zircons from these forearc sediments indicate that this segment of the Gangdese arc experienced more active and continuous magmatism from the Early Jurassic to Early Cretaceous than its bedrock records indicate.

The stratigraphic record of the northern Indian margin documents tectonic extension and magmatic activity during the Late Triassic. The geodynamic process and the paleogeographic implications of this event remain, however, incompletely understood. This study presents new stratigraphic, petrographic, geochronologic and geochemical data from a mixed carbonate-clastic Upper Triassic succession of the Tethys Himalaya in southern Tibet (Tela Formation). The new finding of volcanic detritus with bimodal mafic/felsic composition in the Tela Formation indicates nearby volcanic activity constrained by detrital zircon U Pb dating as latest Carnian to early Norian in age (229–223 Ma). The alkalic signature of mafic volcanic rock fragments, showing LREE enrichment and HREE depletion, indicates a within-plate extensional setting. The igneous activity in northeastern India compares with coeval volcanism in northwestern Australia, suggesting that a rift-related volcanic belt developed along the northern margin of eastern Gondwana in the Late Triassic. This volcanic belt controlled the accumulation of thick turbidites of the Langjiexue Group in northeastern India and induced accelerated tectonic subsidence and increased sedimentation rates all along the Tethys Himalayan zone as far west as the Zanskar-Spiti Synclinorium. This major rifting phase is suggested to have initiated a new phase of sea-floor spreading in the Neo-Tethys Ocean that torn off the Lhasa Block from eastern Gondwana.

To develop an animal model suitable for the study of acupoint sensitization in myocardial ischemia(MI) animals by observing changes of the mechanical withdrawal threshold (pain threshold, PT).Twenty New Zea-land rabbits were randomly divided into control and model groups (The controllable MI model was successful due to a marked elevation of ECG ST Ⅱ after inflation of the implanted balloon and a distinct recovery after balloon deflation (MI may induce a reduction of PT of some related acupoints in MI rabbits, and the controllable MI model of the present study is helpful to the study of acupoint sensitization phenomenon after occurrence of visceral diseases.

In recent years, our province occurs gas and coal dust explosion accident of coal industry producing process frequently. After the accident, rescue personnel can’t go down in time, waste precious rescue time, causing more casualties personnel. To solve this problem, try to design walking mechanism of the underground exploration robot with a strong adaptation to the complex terrain, climbing and crossing barrier ability, we use the software of MATLAB and ADAMS to establish the three-dimensional model of walking mechanism and the disaster area scene and inspect the walking mechanism’s traveling smoothness in the complex terrain. Through the simulation results, we can see that walking mechanism of the underground exploration robot has a good ability to adapt to changes of the ground, effectively regulate the relative balance of the main body of walking mechanism, suitable for explore the environmental information in the underground complex terrain.

In this paper, we studied the different content of aramid fiber, aramid pulp, carbon fiber, high silica fiber, mullite fiber, alumina fiber's effect on EPDM inhibitor material. The result show that aramid fiber can significantly improve the ablation resistance of thermal insulation layer, when the content of aramid fiber up to 6.7%,the inhibitor material's ablating rate get the minimum value 0.04mm/s. Aramid pulp can improve ablation resistance of thermal insulation layer, but its dispersion in insulation material is difficult. Others inorganic fiber can't lower the ablating rate as much as aramid fiber, it mainly because of the brittleness of inorganic fiber, during the dispersion process, most of fiber had been triturated, so those fiber can't decrease the liner ablation rate of the inhibitor.

The properties of interface and bonding between the liner and propellant were systematically studied with regard to MAPO content, filler and plasticizer types, and vulcanized agent. It was indicated that the bonding strength of liner and propellant arrive the highest value 0.32MPa when MAPO contents was 3% and there is a little effect on bonding strength for vulcanized parameter. Moreover, the bonding strength gets weaker when the content of plasticizer decreases. Significantly, the molecular sieve can improve bonding strength greatly. Compared with other cure agent, TDI was the best vulcanized agent, and when it was used in the vulcanized system, the highest value of bonding strength between liner and propellant could be obtained.

Shale oil resource potential classification evaluation is needed to precisely calculate the resource potential and prepare for the prediction of shale oil sweet spots. Geochemical analysis results shows that the E2S42 shale in Damintun Depression has strong hydrocarbon generation capacity. The classification evaluation criteria of E2S42 Shale oil in Damintun Depression was established according to the triple-division characteristic of measured TOC vs. S1. The shale oil oiliness parameter S1 was obtained by using improved logR method. The loss of hydrocarbon was recovered by chemical kinetics method. Volumetric method was used to calculate different grades of E2S42 shale oil in Damintun Depression. Grade I resource is 334 million tons. Grade II resource is 33 million tons. Grade III resource is 15 million tons. Grade I resource accounts for over 90% of the total resource content. High value area mainly concentrated near Well Shen223 and Well Shen224. Results shows that the E2S42 shale in Damintun Depression has good resource potential.

In present, plenty of solar greenhouse in northern China can't play maximum efficicency because of have no environmental control system. Through greenhouse construction for many years, a new practical HMG-2 type solar greenhouse with environmental automatic control system has been developped. This control system has "offline" and "online" two kind of working modes. The paper expounds the key technology adopted by the control system, which can greatly improve production performance of solar greenhouse. This environmental control system has many advantages such as low cost and easily to implement. It can meet the demand of users and has popularization value.

The deployment process of Astromesh is analyzed and the basic unit is defines, based on which overall coordinate system of Astromesh and the units local coordinate system are established. The role of synchronous drive mechanism hinges and motor are analyzed in the unit local coordinate system, and whose action principle is stated in the form of parameter.

This study was designed to determine the heavy metal concentrations in soils and food crops and estimate the potential health risks of metals to polluted food crops and soil, so agricultural soil for the cultivation and taro were main objects of study, taro were taken in the HNO3-H2O2 wet digestion, while soil were taken to HCl-HNO3-HF-HClO4 wet digestion by (ICP-OES),then coments and analysis on the samples were carried out by comparing with their limits of relative state standards. The analytical results indicate that for all of the analyzed elements the relative standard deviations (RSD) are 0.9-4.9% and the recoveries of most elements are in the range of 96.84-104.96%. Zn, As, Cd and other contents in soil samples were detectable beyond their limits of state standards, while heavy metals contents in the investigated samples were found at different polluted levels. Cd, Cr, As, Zn, Cu in taros also exceeded the national standard. It was found that there are enrichment of heavy metals in taro. It is concluded that the present techniques are suitable for the routine determination of heavy metals concentration in the food crops-soil systems.

Aims To clone and express Siva1 protein, and to investigate the role of Siva1 protein in proliferation, apoptosis, invasion, and migration of human nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell line CNE-2 in vitro and in vivo. Methods The PCR fragment of Siva1 from human nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell line CNE-2 were double digested with BamHI and SalI and then induced into the pQE30 vector double digested by the same enzymes. The pQE30 vector harboring Siva1 was introduced into M15 competent cells and then induced by isopropyl β -D-1-thiogalactopyranoside (IPTG). The Siva1 fusion protein was identified by 12% sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE), and then separated and purified by Ni-affinity chromatography. Subsequently, the effects of recombinant Siva1 protein on proliferation, apoptosis, invasion and migration were assayed in vitro and in vivo. Results The transformed cells expressed Siva1 fusion protein with a molecular weight of approximately 12 kDa. Cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8) assay showed that the Siva1 protein significantly inhibited the proliferation of the CNE-2 cells at a concentration of 10 μ mol/L. In addition, compared to the control, the Siva1 protein promoted the apoptosis of the cancer cells. And, the Siva1 protein greatly suppressed the invasion and migration of the cancer cells. In vivo, the Siva1 protein significantly inhibited the tumor growth of the tumor-bearing mice. Further, the Siva1 treatment markedly upregulated Bax, caspase-3, and downregulated Bcl-2 protein levels in the transplanted tumor tissue. Conclusions The Siva1 protein has a significant anticancer activity on human nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell line CNE-2 including inhibiting proliferation, invasion, migration and promoting apoptosis of the cancer cells.

The irregular surface of seeds on which gibbsites are precipitated from caustic aluminate solutions, was investigated according to the fractal theory. Two kinds of fractal dimensions were used to characterize these irregularity. Box-dimension and spectral dimension are based on the SEM images of seeds and diffusive dynamic equation of the precipitation respectively. Both these two dimensions are affected by the reaction temperature, evolved with different reaction conditions and can reflect the influence of irregularity of seeds on the precipitation rate. Box dimension is fit for the characterization of the irregular morphology of seeds, while spectral dimension can explain the fractal dynamic behavior.

A method to quantify K, Ca, Mg and Li in aluminum electrolyte by ICP-OES with wet digestion was developed. The samples were digested using aqua regia in PTFE beakers and heated by electric hot plate. The levels of four additives, namely KF, CaF2, MgF2 and LiF in aluminum electrolyte were determined simultaneously by ICP-OES. The recovery rate of this method was 93.27%–103.51%. Accuracy was also proven through the measurement of standard sample of aluminum electrolyte. The developed method was applied to relative standard deviations for three digestion replicates of ten samples were in the range from 0.51% to 8.33%.
