Dynamical encircling exceptional point(EP) shows a number of intriguing physical phenomena and its potential applications. To enrich the manipulations of optical systems in experiment, here, we study the dynamical encircling EP, i.e. state transfer process, in largely detuned multimode optomechanical system. The process of state transfer has been investigated with different factors about the location of start point, the orientation and the initial state of the trajectories around the EP in parameter space. Results show that the nonreciprocal and the chiral topological energy transfer between two optical modes are performed successfully by tuning the effective optomechanical coupling in the multimode system with large detuning. Moreover, the factor of evolution speed about system parameters is also discussed. Our work demonstrates the fundamental physics around EP in large detuning domain of multimode optomechanical system and provides an alternative for manipulating of optical modes in non-hermitian system., 9 pages,7 figures

The ground state cooling of Brillouin scattering optomechanical system is limited by defects in practical sample. In this paper, we propose a new compensatory cooling mechanism for Brillouin scattering optomechanical system with exceptional points (EPs). By using the EPs both in optical and mechanical modes, the limited cooling process is compensated effectively. The dual-EPs system, which is discovered in this work for the first time, can be induced by two defects with specific relative angles and has function of not only actively manipulating the coupling strength of optical modes but also the Brillouin phonon modes. Our results provide new tools to manipulate the optomechanical interaction in multi-mode systems and open the possibility of quantum state transfer and quantum interface protocols based on phonon cooling in quantum applications., Comment: 6 pages, 5 figures

The recently theoretical and experimental researches on $${\mathcal{PT}}$$ PT -symmetric system have attracted unprecedented attention because of the various interesting features and potential applications in extending canonical quantum mechanics. However, as the counterpart of $${\mathcal{PT}}$$ PT -symmetry, there are few experimental researches on the anti-$${\mathcal{PT}}$$ PT -symmetric quantum system because of the challenges in simulating anti-$${\mathcal{PT}}$$ PT -symmetry in experiment. Here, we propose an algorithm for simulating the generalized anti-$${\mathcal{PT}}$$ PT -symmetric system in the quantum circuit model. Utilizing the algorithm, we demonstrated the quantum simulation of anti-$${\mathcal{PT}}$$ PT system experimentally, and an oscillation of information flow is observed in a nuclear magnetic resonance quantum simulator. The experiment showed that the information could recover from the environment completely when the anti-$${\mathcal{PT}}$$ PT -symmetry is broken, whereas no information can be retrieved in the symmetry-unbroken phase. Our work opens the gate for the practical quantum simulation and experimental investigation of universal anti-$${\mathcal{PT}}$$ PT -symmetric system in a quantum computer.

Polarization beam splitter (PBS) is a crucial photonic element to separately extract transverse-electric (TE) and transverse-magnetic (TM) polarizations from the propagating light fields. Here, we propose a concise, continuously tunable and all-optical partial PBS in the vector optomechanical system which contains two orthogonal polarized cavity modes with degenerate frequency. The results show that one can manipulate the polarization states of different output fields by tuning the polarization angle of the pumping field and the system function as partial PBS when the pump laser polarizes vertically or horizontally. As a significant application of the tunable PBS, we propose a scheme of implementing quantum walks in resonator arrays without the aid of other auxiliary systems. Furthermore, we investigate the optomechanically induced Faraday effect in the vector optomechanical system which enables arbitrary tailoring of the input lights and the behaviors of polarization angles of the output fields in the under couple, critical couple, and over couple regimes. Our findings prove the optomechanical system is a potential platform to manipulate the polarization states in multimode resonators and boost the process of applications related to polarization modulation., 9 pages, 6 figures

Rare-earth-doped on-chip microlasers are of great significance in both fundamental research and engineering. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report of Yb

The sensitivity of perturbation sensing can be effectively enhanced with higher-order exceptional points due to the nonlinear response to frequency splitting. However, the experimental implementation is challenging since all the parameters need to be precisely prepared. The emergence of exceptional surface (ES) improves the robustness of the system to the external environment, while maintaining the same sensitivity. Here, we propose the first scalable protocol for realizing photonic high-order exceptional surface with passive resonators. By adding one or more additional passive resonators in the low-order ES photonic system, the 3- or arbitrary N-order ES is constructed and proved to be easily realized in experiment. We show that the sensitivity is enhanced and experimental demonstration is more resilent against the fabrication errors. Bioassay-guided fractionation of the ethanol extract of whole herbs of Achillea alpina led to the isolation of isochlorogenic acids A and B as transient receptor potential vanilloid 3 (TRPV3) channel antagonists by using a calcium fluorescent assay. The structures were identified by spectroscopic analysis and the inhibitory activities of isochlorogenic acids A and B were confirmed by whole-cell patch clamp recordings of human embryonic kidney 293 (HEK293) cells expressing human TRPV3. Molecular docking results revealed that these two compounds reside in the same active pocket of human TRPV3 channel protein with lower binding energy than the agonist 2-aminoethoxydiphenyl borate (2-APB). High-speed counter-current chromatography (HSCCC) coupled with a liquid-liquid extraction approach was successfully established for the separation of isochlorogenic acids A and B from the whole herbs of A. alpina. Ethyl acetate and n-hexane-ethyl acetate-water (3:3:4 and 1:5:4, v/v/v) were selected as liquid-liquid extraction solvent systems to remove high- and low-polarity impurities in the mixture. Sixty g of ethanol extract was refined by solvent partition to yield 1.7 g of the enriched fraction, of which 480 mg in turn obtained 52.5 mg of isochlorogenic acid B (purity 98.3%) and 37.6 mg isochlorogenic acid A (purity 96.2%) after HSCCC with n-hexane-ethyl acetate-water containing 1% acetic acid (1:4:8, v/v/v).

By preparing a sensor system around isolated exceptional points, one can obtain a great enhancement of the sensitivity benefiting from the non-Hermiticity. However, this comes at the cost of reduction of the flexibility of the system, which is critical for practical applications. By generalizing the exceptional points to exceptional surfaces, it has been theoretically proposed recently that enhanced sensitivity and flexibility can be combined. Here, we experimentally demonstrate an exceptional surface in a non-Hermitian photonic sensing system, which is composed of a whispering-gallery-mode microresonator and two nanofiber waveguides, resulting in a unidirectional coupling between two degenerate counter-propagating modes with an external optical isolator. The system is simple, robust, and can be easily operated around an exceptional surface. On the one hand, we observe sensitivity enhancement by monitoring the resonant frequency splitting caused by small perturbations. This demonstration of exceptional-surface-enhanced sensitivity paves the way for practical non-Hermitian sensing applications. Zearalenone (ZEA), a natural contaminant found in feed, has been shown to have a negative impact on domestic animal reproduction, particularly in pigs. There are species-specific differences in the ZEA-induced toxicity pattern. Here, we investigated the different biological effects of ZEA exposure on porcine and mouse granulosa cells, using RNA-seq analysis. We treated murine and porcine granulosa cells with 10 μM and 30 μM ZEA during 72 h of culturing, in vitro. The results showed that 10 μM ZEA exposure significantly altered mitosis associated genes in porcine granulosa cells, while the same treatment significantly altered the steroidogenesis associated genes in mouse granulosa cells. Exposure to 30 μM ZEA resulted in significantly up-regulated expression of inflammatory related genes in porcine granulosa cells as well as the cancer related genes in mouse granulosa cells. Similarly, 30 μM ZEA exposure significantly decreased the expression of tumor suppressor factors in the mouse granulosa cells. Furthermore, immunofluorescence, RT-qPCR as well as western-blot analysis verified the different expression of related genes in ZEA exposed porcine and mouse granulosa cells. Collectively, these results illustrate the presence of species differences with regards to ZEA effects between porcine and mouse ovarian granulosa cells, in vitro.

Opto-thermal relaxation is one of the most important properties of nonlinear optical materials. Rapid and high precision measurement of this parameter is vital in both fundamental research and applications. Current measurement uses either complicated structure with poor precision or high power heating source with low efficiency. Here, we propose a pump-probe method (PPM) to optically measure the thermal relaxation using whispering gallery mode (WGM) microcavities. When the pump laser shines on a microcavity, the materials absorb the input power resonantly and heat up. Then the heat dissipates from the cavities to the surroundings. The opto-thermal effect induces a refractive index change reflected in the signal light transmission spectra. By analyzing the curve character of the transmission spectra of the signal response in the spontaneous relaxation process, the thermal relaxation time can be rapidly measured with high precision. Additionally, we systematically verify the PPM using microtoroids under various pump powers and at various locking points of the signal laser mode. The small rate of refractive index changes (∼10−8) can be discerned with an input pump power as low as 11.816 μW. Hence, the PPM can be used to detect refractive index perturbation, like gas or liquid sensing, temperature fluctuations with ultra-high sensitivity and be applied to optical materials analysis efficiently.

Rare-earth-doped on-chip microlasers are of great significance in both fundamental research and engineering. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report of Yb3+-doped and Er3+/Yb3+-codoped on-chip microsphere lasers fabricated via sol-gel synthesis. Laser emissions were observed in a band around 1040 nm in both Yb3+-doped and Er3+/Yb3+-codoped resonators pumped at 980 nm and had measured ultralow thresholds of 5.2 µW and 0.6 µW, respectively. Both single-mode and multi-mode emissions were recorded around 1040 nm in these lasers. Single-mode and two-mode emissions were obtained at 1550 nm in the Er3+/Yb3+-codoped lasers when pumped at 980 nm and 1460 nm, respectively. Furthermore, quality factors induced by different loss mechanisms in the microsphere lasers are theoretically estimated. These resonators are expected to contribute to the high-density integration of on-chip silica-based microlasers.

α-Glucosidase plays an important role in catalyzing the hydrolytic cleavage of disaccharides into monosaccharides. In this study, a phytochemical investigation of the potential α-glucosidase inhibitory fraction from the aerial parts of Euonymus fortunei led to the isolation and identification of two new tetracyclic triterpenoids, fortunenones A and B (1–2), together with 11 known triterpenoids (3–13). Fortunenones A and B are rare C32 triterpenoids possessing a 24,24-dimethyl group. The partial isolated compounds were evaluated their effects on α-glucosidase, of which echinochlorin D (5), lupenone (7), wilforlide B (12), and wilforlide A (13) exhibited remarkable inhibitory effects with the half inhibitory concentration ranged from 207.2 × 10−6 M to 388.3 × 10−6 M compared with the positive control, acarbose. An enzyme kinetics analysis by Lineweaver-Burk plots revealed that the inhibition types of the four active compounds were all mixed inhibition. Molecular docking further revealed that hydrophobic interactions and hydrogen bonds play an important role in the inhibition of α-glucosidase activity. Our results demonstrate the potential of E. fortunei extract and its constituents to inhibit α-glucosidase.

We report a novel, to the best of our knowledge, way to achieve phase-controlled dual-wavelength resonance based on whispering-gallery-mode (WGM) microcavities experimentally. With the help of a feedback waveguide, not only two optical pathways but also a unidirectional coupling between counter-propagating waves are formed, which is the requirement of all-optical analogues of electromagnetically induced transparency and Autler–Townes splitting. By adjusting the accumulating phase introduced from the fiber waveguide, we observe the signal lineshape changes from symmetric to asymmetric, i.e., the resonant transmission and extinction ratio of two splitting modes can be controlled, which brings a new degree of freedom to the WGM resonator system. These results may boost the development of quantum state control and pave the way for reconfiguring devices such as narrow-band filters.

Exploring quantum technology to precisely measure physical quantities is a meaningful task for practical scientific researches. Here, we propose a novel quantum sensing model based on color detuning dynamics with dressed states driving (DSD) in stimulated Raman adiabatic passage. The model is valid for sensing different physical quantities, such as magnetic field, mass, rotation and so on. For different sensors, the used systems can range from macroscopic scale, e.g. optomechanical systems, to microscopic nanoscale, e.g. solid spin systems. The dynamics of color detuning of DSD passage indicates the sensitivity of sensors can be enhanced by tuning system with more adiabatic or accelerated processes in different color detuning regimes. To show application examples, we apply our approach to build optomechanical mass sensor and solid spin magnetometer with practical parameters.

Fabricating an optical microtoroid with ultra-high quality factor is an indispensable procedure both for scientific research and engineering. Here, HF/HNO 3 wet etching is specially tailored to form silicon pillars for ultra-high quality factor microtoroids instead of xenon difluoride (Xe F 2 ) or reactive ion etching (RIE) methods. This is a low-cost, easily maintained and time-saving method. The method uses a very simple etching device and is robust to temperature variations and humidity changes at room temperature(20–25 °C). Anisotropy in isotropic HF/HNO 3 etching, which may limit the quality factor, is minimized in the experiment. Quality factor dependence on silicon orientation is experimentally investigated and theoretically explained with group theory, which shows that [111] oriented silicon wafers are superior to [100] and [110] in the wet etching method. The maximum quality factor observed at 1550 nm waveband in the experiment is 1.05 × 10 8 . We believe this technique will have great influence both on laboratory and future production use.

High-sensitivity gyroscope is widely used for rotation detection in several practical applications. Recently, exceptional points (EPs) have garnered considerable attention for enhancing the sensitivity of sensors based on optical cavities. Here, we propose an EP-enhanced optical gyroscope based on mechanical parity-time (PT) symmetry in a microcavity system. We demonstrate that by pumping the two optical modes with different colors, i.e., blue and red detuning, an effective mechanical PT-symmetric system can be obtained, and the system can be prepared at EP with appropriate parameters. The sensitivity of gyroscope at EP was enhanced by more than one order of magnitude in the weak perturbation regime as compared to that at diabolic point. This indicates that the sensitivity of gyroscope can be effectively enhanced by monitoring the mechanical modes rather than the optical modes. Overall, our work provides a promising approach to design high-sensitivity gyroscopes in optical microcavities and is potentially useful in a variety of research fields including fundamental physics and precision measurement.

We theoretically study the optomechanically induced transparency (OMIT) and absorption (OMIA) phenomena in a single microcavity optomechanical system, assisted by an indirectly coupled auxiliary cavity mode. We show that the interference effect between the two optical modes plays an important role and can be used to control the multiple-pathway induced destructive or constructive interference effect. The three-pathway interference could induce an absorption dip within the transparent window in the red sideband driving regime, while we can switch back and forth between OMIT and OMIA with the four-pathway interference. The conversion between the transparency peak and absorption dip can be achieved by tuning the relative amplitude and phase of the multiple light paths interference. Our system proposes a new platform to realize multiple pathways induced transparency and absorption in a single microcavity and a feasible way for realizing all-optical information processing.

Based on the dispersive interaction between a high quality factor microcavity and nano-objects, whispering-gallery-mode microcavities have been widely used in highly sensitive sensing. Here, we propose a novel method to enhance the sensitivity of the optical frequency shift and reduce the impact of the laser frequency noise on the detection resolution through Brillouin cavity optomechanics in a parity-time symmetric system. The optical spring effect is sensitive to the perturbation of optical modes around the exceptional point. By monitoring the shift of the mechanical frequency, the detection sensitivity for the optical frequency shift is enhanced by 2 orders of magnitude compared with conventional approaches. We find the optical spring effect is robust to the laser frequency noise around the exceptional point, which can reduce the detection limitation caused by the laser frequency instability. Thus, our method can improve the sensing ability for nano-object sensing and other techniques based on the frequency shift of the optical mode.

The fatty acid dehydrogenase I (FatI) is able to express in mammalian cells and convert n-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) to n-3 PUFAs. n-3 PUFA is an important component of the cell membrane and plays an important role in the prevention and control of a variety of human diseases. However, n-3 PUFAs cannot be endogenously synthesized by mammals because they lack the dehydrogenase that converts n-6 to n-3 PUFA. For the time being, gradually matured transgenic technology makes it possible to produce transgenic animals that are able to synthesize n-3 PUFAs by themselves. However, the transgenic technology itself may bring negative impacts. In this study, the eukaryotic expression vector pcDNA3.1-FatI was introduced into the genome of Boer goat fetal fibroblasts cultured in vitro, and the influence of biological characteristics of the fetal fibroblast was studied via overexpression of FatI. The results showed that the proliferation and apoptosis of cultured fetal fibroblast were not affected significantly by the overexpression of FatI using BrdU and TUNEL staining methods, respectively. Moreover, the overexpression of FatI significantly inhibited the senescence of somatic cells compared with enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) transgenic cells (P < 0.01). Quantitative PCR revealed that the mRNA expression of P16 and P53 in the FatI transgenic cell group was significantly lower than that in the EGFP transgenic cell group (P < 0.01). In conclusion, the senescence of goat somatic cells was inhibited by the overexpression of the FatI gene.

Bisphenol-A (BPA) and diethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP) are estrogenic compounds widely used in commercial plastic products. Previous studies have shown that exposure to such compounds have adverse effects on various aspects of mammalian reproduction including folliculogenesis. The objective of this study was to examine the effects of BPA and DEHP exposure on primordial follicle formation. We found that germ cell nest breakdown and primordial follicle assembly were significantly reduced when newborn mouse ovaries were exposed to 10 or 100 μM BPA and DEHP in vitro. Moreover, BPA and DEHP exposure increased the number of TUNEL positive oocytes and the mRNA level of the pro-apoptotic gene Bax in oocytes. These effects were associated with decreased expression of oocyte specific genes such as LIM homeobox 8 (Lhx8), factor in the germline alpha (Figla), spermatogenesis and oogenesis helix-loop-helix (Sohlh2), and newborn ovary homeobox (Nobox). Interestingly, BPA and DEHP exposure also prevented DNA demethylation of CpG sites of the Lhx8 gene in oocytes, a process normally associated with folliculogenesis. Finally, folliculogenesis was severely impaired in BPA and DEHP exposed ovaries after transplantation into the kidney capsules of immunodeficient mice. In conclusion, BPA and DEHP exposures impair mouse primordial follicle assembly in vitro.

Oxidative stress (OS), as a signal of aberrant intracellular mechanisms, plays key roles in maintaining homeostasis for organisms. The occurrence of OS due to the disorder of normal cellular redox balance indicates the overproduction of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and/or deficiency of antioxidants. Once the balance is broken down, repression of oxidative stress is one of the most effective ways to alleviate it. Ongoing studies provide remarkable evidence that oxidative stress is involved in reproductive toxicity induced by various stimuli, such as environmental toxicants and food toxicity. Zearalenone (ZEA), as a toxic compound existing in contaminated food products, is found to induce mycotoxicosis that has a significant impact on the reproduction of domestic animals, especially pigs. However, there is no information about how ROS and oxidative stress is involved in the influence of ZEA on porcine granulosa cells, or whether the stress can be rescued by curcumin. In this study, ZEA-induced effect on porcine granulosa cells was investigated at low concentrations (15 μM, 30 μM and 60 μM). In vitro ROS levels, the mRNA level and activity of superoxide dismutase, glutathione peroxidase and catalase were obtained. The results showed that in comparison with negative control, ZEA increased oxidative stress with higher ROS levels, reduced the expression and activity of antioxidative enzymes, increased the intensity of fluorogenic probes 2’, 7’-Dichlorodihydrofluorescin diacetate and dihydroethidium in flow cytometry assay and fluorescence microscopy. Meanwhile, the activity of glutathione (GSH) did not change obviously following 60 μM ZEA treatment. Furthermore, the underlying protective mechanisms of curcumin on the ZEA-treated porcine granulosa cells were investigated. The data revealed that curcumin pre-treatment significantly suppressed ZEA-induced oxidative stress. Collectively, porcine granulosa cells were sensitive to ZEA, which may induce oxidative stress. The findings from this study clearly demonstrate that curcumin is effective to reduce the dysregulation of cellular redox balance on porcine granulosa cells in vitro and should be further investigated for its protective role against ZEA in animals.

In addition, PUFAs show an obvious impact on prevention and treatment of various diseases. Because n-3 PUFAs cannot be endogenously synthesized by mammals, mammals have to rely on a dietary supplement for sufficient supply. The finding and application of the fatty acid dehydrogenase I (FatI) gene are expected to change the current situation because it can convert n-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids (n-6 PUFAs) to n-3 PUFAs. Meanwhile, the gradual maturation of transgenic technology makes it possible to produce transgenic animals that can synthesize n-3 PUFAs by themselves. In this study, the DNA coding sequence of FatI was synthesized by a chemical method after codon optimization according to the mammal's codon bias. The synthesized DNA sequence was introduced into Boer goat fetal fibroblasts by the constructed recombinant eukaryotic expression vector pcDNA3.1(+)-FatI. Boer goat fetal fibroblasts were transfected by electroporation, and the stable transfected cell lines were obtained by G418 selection. Genomic DNA PCR and Southern blot were applied to verify that the foreign gene FatI was integrated into the genome of the Boer goat fibroblasts. RT-PCR results showed the expression of FatI gene at the mRNA level. The fatty acid profile of cells carrying the FatI gene revealed an increase in total n-3 PUFAs (from 0.61 to 0.95), but a decrease in n-6 PUFAs (from 10.34 to 9.85), resulting in a remarkable increase in the n-3:n-6 ratio (from 0.059 to 0.096). The n-3:n-6 ratio had a 63.49 percent increase, which is a precursor of the response of n-3 desaturase activity of the FatI gene. The study may provide a practical tool for producing transgenic animals that can produce n-3 PUFAs by themselves, and we hope that the application will lay the foundation for animals producing n-3 PUFAs, which will benefit human nutrition and wellness.

The finding and application of the fatty acid dehydrogenase I (FatI) gene are expected to change the current situation because it can convert n-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids (n-6 PUFAs) to n-3 PUFAs. Meanwhile, the gradual maturation of transgenic technology makes it possible to produce transgenic animals that can synthesize n-3 PUFAs by themselves. In this study, the DNA coding sequence of FatI was synthesized by a chemical method after codon optimization according to the mammal's codon bias. The synthesized DNA sequence was introduced into Boer goat fetal fibroblasts by the constructed recombinant eukaryotic expression vector pcDNA3.1(+)-FatI. Boer goat fetal fibroblasts were transfected by electroporation, and the stable transfected cell lines were obtained by G418 selection. Genomic DNA PCR and Southern blot were applied to verify that the foreign gene FatI was integrated into the genome of the Boer goat fibroblasts. RT-PCR results showed the expression of FatI gene at the mRNA level. The fatty acid profile of cells carrying the FatI gene revealed an increase in total n-3 PUFAs (from 0.61 to 0.95), but a decrease in n-6 PUFAs (from 10.34 to 9.85), resulting in a remarkable increase in the n-3:n-6 ratio (from 0.059 to 0.096). The n-3:n-6 ratio had a 63.49 percent increase, which is a precursor of the response of n-3 desaturase activity of the FatI gene. The study may provide a practical tool for producing transgenic animals that can produce n-3 PUFAs by themselves, and we hope that the application will lay the foundation for animals producing n-3 PUFAs, which will benefit human nutrition and wellness.

Fabricating an optical microresonator with precise resonant wavelength is of significant importance for fundamental research and practical applications. Here, we develop an effective method to fabricate ultra-high Q microtoroid with picometer-precise resonant wavelength. Our method adds a tuning reflow process, using low-power CO2 laser pulses, to the traditional fabrication process. It can tailor resonant wavelength to a red or blue direction by choosing a proper laser power. Also, this shift can be controlled by the exposure time. Meanwhile, quality factor remains nearly unchanged during this tailoring process. Our method can greatly reduce the difficulties of experiments where precise resonances are required.

Quantum communication holds promise for absolutely security in secret message transmission. Quantum secure direct communication is an important mode of the quantum communication in which secret messages are securely communicated over a quantum channel directly. It has become one of the hot research areas in the last decade, and offers both high security and instantaneousness in communication. It is also a basic cryptographic primitive for constructing other quantum communication tasks such as quantum authentication, quantum dialogue and so on. Here we report the first experimental demonstration of quantum secure direct communication with single photons. The experiment is based on the DL04 protocol, equipped with a simple frequency coding. It has the advantage of being robust against channel noise and loss. The experiment demonstrated explicitly the block data transmission technique, which is essential for quantum secure direct communication. In the experiment, a block transmission of 80 single photons was demonstrated over fiber, and it provides effectively 16 different values, which is equivalent to 4 bits of direct transmission in one block. Insulin is a protein secreted by pancreatic β-cells, which plays an important role in the regulation of ovarian function. However, the specific molecular mechanism of its function remains largely unknown. This study aimed to assess the effect of insulin on mouse folliculogenesis using an in vitro ovary-culture model. The results demonstrated that insulin promoted the proliferation of ovarian granulosa cells in vitro, and thereby accelerated the progress of folliculogenesis (the percentage of oocytes in cysts declined from 42.6% to 29.3%); however, the percentage of apoptotic oocytes increased after insulin treatment. Genetic structure and character of Chaidamu goats were studied through simple random sampling. Genetic structure was analysed from five aspects, and phylogeny status was also investigated. The results indicated that: (1) the average phenotypic heterogeneity degree of coat color and morphological character were 0.3419 and 0.5207, respectively; (2) polymorphous blood albumen existed in 6 loci and the average loci heterozygosity was 0.2584; and (3) polymorphism existed in marked genes by DND-RAPD with diversity of 0.4085 approximately 0.5318. Phylogeny status was investigated through clustering by Ward's method on Chaidamu Goats and other domestic goats. All these indicated that Chaidamu Goats was a domestic goat with less intensively selected breed.

With the technology of PAGE,the genetic polymorphism of blood protein and enzyme was investigated,and genetic co-adaptability among structural genes was studied in three goat populations(147 goats) including Chaidamu goat(CS), Chaidamu Cashmere goat(CRS) and Liaoning Cashmere goat(LRS) in Qinghai Province, China. The results were showed that the genetic disequilibrium of 10 locus combinations was found among 45 locus combinations in the three goat populations,and these genetic disequilibria were caused only by the difference of genetic co-adaptability among genes,because there didn't exist the linkage disequilibrium among non-allelic genes. The genetic disequilibrium including the difference of genetic co-adaptability between non-allelic genes was only found at Tf-P(A-3) locus combinations in LRS population,the other ones were all caused by the genetic disequilibrium at a single locus. The difference of genetic co-adaptability of LAP-EsD locus combinations could be messaged among different populations.

The genetic relationships between economic traits and genetic markers were studied in 147 goats including Chaidamu goat (CS), Chaidamu Cashmere goat (CRS) and Liaoning Cashmere goat (LRS) in Qinghai province, China. CRS was the population of CSxLRS crossbred. The results showed as follows: the selection reaction of these blood protein polymorphisic loci were great, such as EsD, LAP and P(A-3); and EsD2-2, LAPBB and PA-32-2 were the superior marker genotypes on body weight ,Cashmere yield and Cashmere fineness respectively by Least Square method. The interaction between marker genotypes at double loci was found frequently, and their ratio between interaction variance component and genetic variance was higher. With the method of marker assisted prediction( MAP), some interaction effect could be used effectively in the crossbreed population. On the aspect of random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD), the number of the superior RAPD marker bands were 11 on body weight trait, 9 and 6 RAPD marker bands on Cashmere yield and Cashmere fineness. For multi-goal traits, CY0818/A0 type and OPW19/C1 type were superior RAPD markers of body weight and Cashmere yield, CY0818/G1 type was superior one of body weight and Cashmere fineness.
