After the quinoline insoluble fraction was removed, petroleum pitch (PP) was brominated under ultraviolet light irradiation for 3 to 9 h with a bromine to PP mass ratio of 1:20 to prepare brominated PPs (BPPs). Synthetic pitches (SPs) were produced from these BPPs by mixing them with refined coal tar pitch (RCTP) using a solvent (5 wt% benzoyl chloride)-assisted mixing method, using different mass ratios of BPP/RCTP, and BPPs with different irradiation times. The SPs were carbonized to prepare semicokes. The properties and carbonization behavior of the SPs were investigated by FT-IR spectrometry, 1H NMR, thermogravimetry and viscometry, and the optical texture of the semicokes was examined by polarized-light microscopy, X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. Results indicate that converting PP into BPPs increases its reactivity with RCTP, which is beneficial for developing an ordered texture during carbonization. A high-quality coke with a highest yield of 50.1 wt% was prepared from the optimum SP made from BPP brominated for 6 h and a mass ratio of BPP to RCTP of 1: 9.

To be adapted for and promote building industrialization, the research of prefabricated rectangular open caisson working well during pipe jacking was carried out. In the background of the first open caisson working well, strain test was carried out on the cast-in-situ region and horizontal butt seam region of prefabricated structure. In the sinking working condition, anti-tensile checking of the prefabricated structure was implemented, took into account the prestressed reinforcement. In the jacking working condition, cast-in-situ open caisson working well was computed by ANSYS. The testing date in contrast with the calculation results, strength and changing trend was analysed in the cast-in-situ region and horizontal butt seam region of prefabricated open caisson working well. The results show that strength of the cast-in-situ region and horizontal butt seam region satisfied the engineering requirements. In two regions of the prefabricated structure, the continuation was better. The structure of the prefabricated open caisson working well was reliable

The assessment of the basic idea and technical details about the constructional quality of concrete structures in rural house based on the AHP and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method are discussed. The assessment level system are designed according to the reference named the state standard “Code for acceptance of constructional quality of structures in rural house” which is compiling. Delphi-method, analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method are comprehensively utilized. The awareness and satisfaction in quality of the concrete structures in rural house about the managers and farmers are revealed. The satisfaction degree of the constructional quality of concrete structures in rural house belongs to the average. Concrete quality inspection, Concrete preparation and concrete casting should be focused on in the improvement process of constructional quality of concrete structures in rural house.

New precast concrete (NPC) shear wall consists of upper and lower prefabricated wall panels connected with reservation connection reinforcements inserted in the reserved galvanized metal bellows with full grout. The accomplished test results have demonstrated that the force mechanism of NPC shear wall is significantly different from that of traditional cast-in-situ concrete shear wall. To grasp the seismic performance of NPC shear wall, nonlinear numerical model, which was based on the test results, was established to investigate the influence of axial compression ratio, stirrup ratio of the shear wall, concealed column, diameter and amount of connection reinforcements and anchorage length of connection reinforcements on the model's curve of shear force vs. displacement of the load point. The seismic performance was evaluated from aspects of strength and deformability. The analysis results show that axial compression ratio and amount of connection reinforcements are sensitive parameters to the ultimate force and all the parameters concerned are influential to the ultimate displacement. The effect of axial compression ratio is complicated and increased amount of connection reinforcements can obviously enhance the capacity of NPC shear wall. Based on the findings, simplified calculation formula of shear resistance capacity was presented, and its applicability was confirmed by comparing the calculation results with testing results and nonlinear analysis results.
