ResumenEl propósito de este trabajo es proponer una estrategia para mejorar el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje del tema de conjuntos en el nivel superior mediante el aprendizaje basado en problemas como técnica didáctica. La finalidad del presente trabajo es favorecer el aprendizaje de los contenidos curriculares de la materia de matemáticas discretas en el tema de operaciones con conjuntos, para los estudiantes del Instituto Tecnológico de Celaya para los estudiantes de primer semestre de la carrera de Ingeniería en Sistemas Computacionales. Con base en los resultados obtenidos a partir de la aplicación de un examen diagnóstico, fue posible construir una táctica que describe y propone estrategias de enseñanza para el aprendizaje de conjuntos.
