The study of the thin liquid film on stretching surfaces is a significant topic due to its many applications in various industries. The present work aims to assess the thermal behavior of a thin liquid film on a stretched sheet in the presence of radiation and porous media. A numerical procedure called the Keller-box method (KBM) is employed in the present research to solve the governing equations of the problem. The verification of the applied technique is appraised by comparison with a previously published work. As an important result of the current investigation, it can be found that with the increase of Darcy number from 0 to 0.6, the temperature value increases by about 42 %. Also, the obtained results reveal that by increasing the radiation parameter from 1 to 3, the temperature value increases by about 51 %.
