- Abstract
Female health are being severe threatened by gynecological malignant tumors. It has become a major public health problem in China and has drawn extensive attention consequently. The incidence of three large tumors in female tumors stands top ten among all kinds of tumors in China. The morbidity and mortality are rising year by year. The tumors′ development and progression are a multi-factor and multi-step process, so it is very important to control the occurrence and development of tumor. Hepatocyte growth factor activator inhibitor (HAI) gene is a kind of endogenous suppressor genes, which is located on chromosome 15. Its main physiological function is to restrain the activity of enzymes in bodies,such as serine protease, hepatocyte growth factor activator and so on. Many experts found that HAI-1 could restrain the malignant tumors growth, they also found that HAI-1 could play an important part on the occurrence, development, infiltration, metastasis and tumor angiogenesis of gynecologic malignant tumors.
