The discovery of Bozhong 19-6 gas field has opened up a new field of deep gas exploration in Bohai Bay basin, showing great potential for gas exploration in oil-type basins. Taking Bozhong 19-6 gas field in Bohai Bay Basin as an example, takes source rock as the research object, clarifies the characteristics of source rock in Bozhong 19-6 structural belt, studies the relationship between organic and inorganic. The results show that: The clay minerals in Bozhong 19-6 structural belt are dominated by illite. A large number of humic amorphous bodies are enriched on the surface of clay minerals through physical adsorption and chemical bonding, and hydrogenation is carried out. In the later period, under the influence of illite, the source rock mainly undergoes decarboxylation reaction, and a large number of short-chain hydrocarbons are generated by thermal decomposition. The condensed oil and gas formed by accumulation are obviously controlled by the source rocks, inheriting the characteristics of higher plants, showing the characteristics of partial humic type. Under the action of illite, hydrocarbon production increased greatly and then enriched to form the characteristics of the wide distribution of condensate oil and gas. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
