Background: Mucopolysaccharidosis (MPS) Type III (MPS III) or Sanfilippo syndrome is a rare autosomal recessive inherited metabolic disorder. This disorder is responsible for lysosomal storage disorder at the cellular aspect. Due to lysosomal enzyme perturbance leading to the alteration of macromolecule metabolisms, this cellular perturbance causes multiple severe systemic and mental outcomes. Sanfilippo syndrome is the most frequent lysosomal disorder among the different types of MPS. Case Presentation: A 9‐year‐9‐month‐old female was presented at our private clinic accompanied with her parents and referred from a general practitioner, and the preclinical examination revealed atypical craniofacial structure and skeletal features such as abnormal posture and movements adding on atypical behavioral manifestations such as temper tantrums, speech difficulties, dementia, and destructive behavior. This research paper presents a comprehensive analysis to develop an energy-efficient and net-zero-energy (NZE) model for a proposed hypothetical mosque model located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The study employs a sequential optimization analysis using BEopt software (Building Energy Optimization Tool) to explore various energy conservation measures (ECMs) from three main categories: HVAC, lighting, and building envelope. The ECMs are evaluated based on energy savings and life-cycle cost, with the most cost-effective options selected for the proposed energy-efficient design package. Furthermore, a passive downdraught evaporative cooling (PDEC) system is introduced as a passive cooling strategy to further reduce the cooling energy consumption. Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis is utilized to optimize the airflow around the building and PDEC tower, determining the optimal PDEC dimensions for enhanced ventilation performance. The PDEC system is found to contribute 12% to cooling energy savings, which further enhances the energy efficiency of the proposed mosque. A rooftop solar PV system is incorporated into the optimal energy-efficient design to achieve a NZE mosque. The results demonstrate that the NZE model achieves 80% energy savings, with the remaining 20% offset by the solar PV system. Moreover, life-cycle cost analysis reveals that the NZE model offers the lowest cost, making it the most cost-effective design option. This research provides valuable insights into designing sustainable mosques in hot and dry climates, such as Riyadh, offering a comprehensive solution to significantly reduce energy end-use and promote sustainable building practices. Purpose: Self‐assessment is increasingly implemented in medical professions' curricula. In this research, the authors measure the effects of self‐assessment within a preclinical removable prosthodontics course among dental students in a private dental school according to the European qualifications framework descriptors. Materials and methods: Thirty subjects, all fourth‐year dental students, were included in this experiment. Fifteen subjects were included in each of the experimental and control groups during one semester. The experimental group subjects used the study roadmap tool in their preclinical tasks. The control group subjects executed the same preclinical tasks under instructor supervision only. All subjects were filmed, and an autonomy score was given to every subject per session. At the end of the semester, cognitive skills development was compared using the Kember et al. questionnaire while practical skills development was compared using a comparison of grades. Two focus groups were undertaken with experimental group subjects. Qualitative and quantitative data were collected and statistically analyzed (p < 0.005). Results: Subjects from the experimental group showed development in critical thinking, practical skills, autonomy, and taking responsibility, thus development in the competence level. Conclusion: Implementation of self‐assessment within preclinical courses may develop skills and competence among dental students, yet more studies are needed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Seven fruit-based fertilizer samples obtained from the Ministry of Agriculture in Gaza include (Pow Humus, Humigan, Eptic, Liquid Potasium, Liquid H.A. Organic corrector Mix, Agriful and Agriful Antisal), have been analyzed for humic acid percentage content using sodium pyrophosphate. Zero humic acid content were found in the samples of Eptic, Liquid Potassium, Agriful and Agriful Antisal, which were in agreement with the reported values in the samples. Also, Pow Humus, Mix and Humigan fertilizer samples and two compost samples from the Agriculture school in Beit Hanoon (Gaza Strip) have been determined for their Humic acid contents using International Humic Substances Society (IHSS) method, modified UV-Vis and modified HPLC methods. It was observed that there is no accurate and precise method for humic acid determination. The best recommended method was the IHSS method as giving highest reasonable results but it is time wasting. The HPLC method is the second recommended method with comparing to IHSS method, despite its costs. UV-Vis method gives good results with just the Pow Humus, Humigan and Mix samples. It was found that different humic acid structures resulting from different sources, in addition NaOH solution modified the humic acid structure. These structures have been illustrated using FTIR after IHSS method for humic acid extraction in the fertilizer samples of Pow Humus, Mix and Humigan. Finally, pyrophosphate solution showed higher selectivity and milder than NaOH solution, in contrast it extracted just 30% of humic acid in the samples and the Redox titration of this method was of high errors.
