Abstract

The chapter presents information on trends in stationary trawl fishery in the Tonle Sap River in Cambodia. Topics discussed include a brief background on the river, the primary targets of dai fishery such as the small cyprinids of the Henicorhynchus genus, equipment used in dai fishery such as long, cone-shaped nets that are suspended from two anchored bamboo rafts, manner by which the catch are disposed, and fishery management by the Fisheries Administration.
