The article discusses the effectiveness of the Jom Cuti-Cuti Malaysia (CCM) domestic tourism campaign in promoting travel demand. The study examines the inter-relationship between tourist attitudes, persuasion knowledge, and travel intention based on the CCM marketing campaign. The results show that attitude and persuasion knowledge directly influence travel intention, and attitude significantly influences persuasion knowledge. Persuasion knowledge also mediates the relationship between attitude and travel intention. The study suggests that the CCM campaign is still highly credible and effective for domestic tourism, but it needs to be regularly updated and relevant to changing circumstances. The findings have practical implications for tourism destinations worldwide and contribute to the literature on domestic tourism campaigns. The peer-to-peer platform is a type of housing arrangement in which people or property owners privately rent out their houses or accessible spaces to visitors, generally via internet platforms or marketplaces. The Chinese Airbnb sector has grown significantly in the last decade, with Airbnb joining the Chinese market in 2015. However, significant obstacles for Airbnb have surfaced in China. There is currently a noteworthy absence of study addressing the variables impacting Airbnb's expansion in the Chinese setting. This study attempts to fill that gap by performing a systematic review of prior studies using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) technique. The goal is to identify the major drivers that have shaped the direction of Airbnb's growth and development, particularly in the Chinese market. The review's results emphasise six drivers that contribute to Airbnb's growth in China, including cultural and historical aspects, accessibility and convenience, pricing tactics, safety and security, tourism attractions and entertainment, and beliefs and attitudes. This research note compares the impacts of the macroeconomic condition on the relationship between tourism destination competitiveness (TDC) ranking and tourism performance. This study utilized the cross-country analysis of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Index (TTCI) data among 115 countries. Macroeconomic conditions are conceptualized in high-income versus low-income nations, while the WEF TTCI ranking explains the TDC ranking. The Partial-least square-structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) Multi-Group Analysis (MGA) results showed that TTCI ranking significantly influenced the low-income group’s tourism performance only but not for the developed ones. The results confirm the criticism of the TTCI ranking bias, reflecting the unbalanced competitiveness assessment distribution between advanced and low-income countries. The study findings augment the incomparability among countries on different levels of development and the arbitrary weighting of the TTCI ranking report, which may lead to inaccurate perceptions of the country and incorrect investment decisions. This study examines the influence of Business Continuity Management (BCM) practices on tour operator companies' financial and nonfinancial performance amid the COVID‐19 pandemic. Employing purposive and cluster sampling, a survey was conducted with 331 tour operators, and the study hypotheses were evaluated using Partial Least Squares—Structural Equation Modelling. Findings reveal that the organizational preparedness and embeddedness of continuity practices significantly influence both financial and nonfinancial performance. Additionally, management support and external requirements impact either financial or nonfinancial performance. The study reveals tour operator companies' resilience demonstrated through their continuity management skills, particularly in adapting to business challenges during the pandemic. The research contributes a fresh perspective on the interplay between BCM practices and organizational performance, emphasizing the importance of robust business continuity strategic planning for the future of tourism operator companies. This paper investigates the influence of the hotel industry workplace environment and the moderating effect of Millennial culture on graduates' career commitment. The study population was among the hospitality graduates working at five-star hotels in Indonesia. The graduate's responses were tapped using a quantitative approach. The proposed model is analyzed through the Partial-least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) assessment. The study findings revealed that the Millennial hospitality graduates' commitment to a career in the hotel industry is strongly related to the working hours, working environment, and salary. However, career advancement opportunities are insignificant predictors of career commitment. Interestingly, the Millennial culture is manifestly found as an insignificant moderating factor in explaining the relationship between Millennial graduates' perception of the hotel industry workplace environment and their career commitment. This paper investigates the return on investment (ROI) paradigm from fundamental educational research grant funding perspectives. The researchers conducted a wide-ranging literature search regarding the educational research grant funding ROI from public policy and economics viewpoints. The preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and metaanalyses (PRISMA) were utilized to identify and analyze research articles and original reports related to ROI from educational research grant funding. The research data were screened through a literature review based on the inclusion criteria, namely study focusing on return on investment of educational research funding and study published between 2001 and 2021 (as of December 2021). This study found evidence that ROI calculation from fundamental educational research grants is not straightforward and varies. Besides, most available research focuses on research impact rather than economic and intrinsic research value. Based on the compiled literature on research-related performance attributes, this study identified three distinct deliverables of educational research funding: tangible output, intangible output, and research outcome. The present research proposes more robust and reliable methods for measuring the ROI of fundamental educational research impact, potentially generating a much-inform decision-making and resource allocation in educational research grant funding.
