Herein, fatty acid esters were synthesized cost-effectively from various fatty acids using reusable lipase (L) immobilized with novel porous ionic polymer (PIP) (l –PIP). The functionalized mesoporous PIP was synthesized through Friedel–Crafts alkylation reaction of 1, 4-bis(bromomethyl) benzene in the presence of ferric chloride as catalyst, and lipase was completely immobilized with PIP at varied time, forming l –PIP–6 H , l –PIP–12 H , l –PIP–18 H , l –PIP–24 H , l –PIP–30 H , and l –PIP–36 H , which were applied in ester production. l –PIP–30 H was characterized using FT–IR, SEM, XPS, solid–state 13C NMR, and N 2 adsorption–desorption isotherms. The conversion of oleic acid reached 88.21 % under optimized conditions (12:1 ethanol/oleic acid molar ratio after 5 h at 45 °C with 250 wt% catalyst at 300 rpm). The stability and reusability of l –PIP–30 H were demonstrated by the sustained catalytic efficiency for at least six reaction cycles. Good catalytic activity during the esterification of various free fatty acids with ethanol was observed. This cost–efficient and effective lipase–immobilized PIP catalyst may have positive economic and environmental repercussions to inspire further academic and industrial research on biodiesel. A series of bis(pyridylcarbamate) ligands with the flexible diethylene glycol spacer and carbamate NH donors as catalysts have been designed and synthesized, and these can be used for the fixation of carbon dioxide with commercially sourced epoxides under mild conditions using alkali metal salts. It is worth noting that between the ligand and the alkali metal salt there is a synergetic effect, which plays an important role in accelerating the reaction rate. • We design a multi-dimensional information integrated graph neural network, which integrates the category and time information into the graph embedding process, so as to obtain more fine-grained item representations. • Considering the lack of time sensitivity for the traditional self-attention mechanism, we integrate interaction time information into the self-attention mechanism, so as to capture the user's dynamic preferences more accurately. • We conduct extensive experiments on three real-world datasets. Our experiment results demonstrate the superior performance of our proposed method comparing with other state-of-the-art baselines. Graph neural networks (GNNs) technology has been widely used in recommendation systems because most information in recommendation systems has a graph structure in nature, and GNNs have advantages in graph representation learning. In sequential recommendation, the relationships between interacting items can be constructed as an isomorphic graph, and (GNNs) can capture high-order information between graph nodes. Many models have used graph-based methods for sequential recommendation, and achieved great success. However, the existing research only considers the number of interactions between items when constructing the item graph. As such, revisions are needed to capture the multi-dimensional transformation relationships between items. Hence, we emphasize the importance of multi-dimensional information, and we propose a C ategory and T ime information integrated G raph N eural N etwork (CTGNN), which combines the item category and interaction time information with a multi-layer graph convolution network to form multi-dimensional fine-grained item representations. In addition, we design a temporal self-attention network to model the dynamic user preference and make the next-item recommendation. A quinolinyl-functionalised tripodal tris(urea) receptor (L) has been designed for sulphate binding. The neutral receptor formed the 1:1 binding mode with sulphate ion (as tetrabutylammonium salt). However, when L interacted with H2SO4, a 2:1 (host/guest) complex (HL)2SO4·EtOH·12.5H2O (1) was isolated. Crystal structural analysis showed that the tertiary amine N atom of L is protonated, and the sulphate ion is located outside the receptor rather than inside the tripodal cleft. 1H NMR studies revealed that the 2:1 binding ratio was persistent in solution. Interestingly, the protonated receptor displayed an unusual enhanced binding for sulphate ion in aqueous environments because of the stronger electrostatic effect in the presence of water. Fixing the greenhouse gas CO2 through epoxide helps to mitigate worldwide ecological troubles. The applications of metal‐free and solvent‐free catalysts remain a challenge for CO2 catalytic conversion. In this work, an array of quaternary ammonium salts derived from polyethyleneimine with hydroxyl groups ([PEI‐GDMAB‐Cn]Br) were constructed by the reaction of branched PEI with a molecular weight of 10000 and glycidyl alkyl dimethylammonium bromide. A range of experiments were designed to demonstrate that [PEI‐GDMAB‐Cn]Br can be considered as a valid metal‐free and solvent‐free homogeneous catalyst for the CO2‐epoxide cycloaddition reaction. Among of [PEI‐GDMAB‐Cn]Br, [PEI‐GDMAB‐C18]Br catalyzed the model reaction of CO2 and epichlorohydrin under optimized reaction conditions (T=80 °C, 1.0 atm CO2, catalyst 1 mol%, ECH 15 mmol, 16 h) and the conversion achieved at 97.5 %. Moreover, the catalyst exhibited stable reusability and broad substrate applicability, which was used in the following cycle succinctly, because of self‐separated properties by temperature control. The [PEI‐GDMAB‐C18]Br catalyzed reaction process was detected as a pseudo‐first‐order reaction after kinetic studies and an Ea was calculated to be 50.65 kJ/mol. A series of carbon sphere supported with adjustable alkyl length substitutes polymeric ionic liquids bearing hydroxylamino-anchored functional groups by covalent connection were fabricated from copolymerization of carbon sphere with vinyl based monomeric ionic liquids, which were constructed from 1-glycidyl-3-vinylimidazolium bromide and alkyl amines. The carbon sphere hybrid polymeric ionic liquids were characterized by FT-IR, SEM–EDS, N2 adsorption/desorption isotherm, elemental analysis, 13C MAS NMR and XPS, which were candidated as heterogeneous catalysts for CO2-epoxide cycloaddition reactions to product cyclic carbonates at mild conditions without co-catalyst and metal ion. The introduced functional groups on carbon sphere could accelerate the reaction process and yields of above 90% were obtained for various cyclic carbonates under optimized conditions. Finally, kinetic experiments were also carried out to reveal reaction mechanism and the activated energy was determined as 114.9 kJ/mol. Reinforcement learning (RL) has achieved ideal performance in recommendation systems (RSs) by taking care of both immediate and future rewards from users. However, the existing RL-based recommendation methods assume that only a single type of interaction behavior (e.g., clicking) exists between user and item, whereas practical recommendation scenarios involve multiple types of user interaction behaviors (e.g., adding to cart, purchasing). In this paper, we propose a Multi-Task Reinforcement Learning model for multi-behavior Recommendation (MTRL4Rec), which gives different actions for users' different behaviors with a single agent. Specifically, we first introduce a modular network in which modules can be shared or isolated to capture the commonalities and differences across users' behaviors. Then a task routing network is used to generate routes in the modular network for each behavior task. We adopt a hierarchical reinforcement learning architecture to improve the efficiency of MTRL4Rec. Finally, a training algorithm and a further improved training algorithm are proposed for our model training. Experiments on two public datasets validated the effectiveness of MTRL4Rec. Tröger's bases (TB) containing two steric nitrogen atoms, are alternated as building block for constructing molecular acceptors to form covalent bonds with acids, making TB a promising catalyst. Herein, TB analogs fabricated with crown ethers were knitted by condensation reaction and combined with potassium iodide as a brand-new catalytic system (CATB-KIs), which were characterized using FT-IR, 13C CP MAS NMR, SEM, TGA, and XPS spectroscopy respectively. The generated CATB-KIs exhibited excellent performance for CO 2 fixation reaction with epoxides to produce cyclic carbonates under mild conditions, and the catalytic activity could be further improved by coordinating with acids beforehand, in which HBr performs fascinated activity. After 12 h, the corresponding cyclic carbonate from epichlorohydrin with 95.1% yield was detected at mild conditions with solvent-free in the presence of CATB-KI-2 and HBr. A series of terminal epoxides were converted into desired cyclic carbonates with desirable yields. The catalyst could be recovered successfully and reused six times without significant loss of activity. Finally, dynamics study on catalytic mechanism has been accomplished and the activated energy was calculated as 72.1 kJ/mol. Herein, a new sequence of Salen cobalt complexes adjusted with different counterions and interconnected with pyrene group were synthesized through Friedel–Crafts alkylation, which were served as conjugated organic polymers (SP-COPs) for taking advantage of catalytic CO 2 fixation reactions and iodine adsorption. Further characterizations were carried out through FT-IR, UV, TGA, and SEM to comprehend the intact structure, thermal stability, morphology and other physical and chemical properties. All materials exhibited effective catalytic performance, and in particular, SP-COP-1 with co-catalyst of TBAI achieved 96.2% conversion under ultra-mild conditions. The E a was obtained to be 46.4 kJ·mol−1 by performing kinetic experiments at different temperatures by fitting the experimental data. The performance of iodine vapor adsorbed by these materials at ambient pressure of 75°C reached 2.8 g·g−1, 2.2 g·g−1 and 2.6 g·g−1 respectively, and the adsorption process is describable in terms of pseudo-first-order and pseudo-second-order adsorption kinetics. Herein, a series of urea functionalized ionic organic polymer materials UIPs (UIP-1, UIP-2 and UIP-3) have been prepared by condensation and Menshutkin reaction of three components in one-pot by solvothermal method. After characterization by FT-IR, SEM, 13C CP MAS NMR, TGA, N 2 adsorption and XPS spectroscopy, the UIPs were alternated as competitive catalysts for the CO 2 cycloaddition reaction with epoxides without metal and co-catalyst under solvent-free conditions. In particular, UIP-2, derived from 1,3,5-tribromomethyl benzene, 4-amino pyridine and 4,4′-diphenylmethane diisocyanate, demonstrated excellent catalytic activity in the CO 2 cycloaddition reaction with a high cyclic carbonate yield of 92.6 % under mild conditions: epichlorohydrin (ECH) (10 mmol), UIP-2 (0.10 mmol), reaction at 70 °C for 16 h with 1 bar of CO 2 , and the activated energy was calculated to be 48.5 kJ/mol. Catalyst K@SC-3 can fix CO 2 into a variety of substituted epoxides in >90% yields to the corresponding cyclic carbonates in co-catalyst-free and solvent-free conditions. Novel α-Fe 2 O 3 modified ZnO flower-like microstructures were successfully prepared via a simple and rapid solution route with different α-Fe 2 O 3 contents. The products were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), UV–vis diffuse reflectance spectra (UV–vis DRS) and N 2 adsorption/desorption. Photocatalytic activity of the as-prepared α-Fe 2 O 3 /ZnO composites was evaluated by degradation of pentachlorophenol (PCP) under simulated solar light. The results indicated that α-Fe 2 O 3 /ZnO composites showed higher photocatalytic activity than pure ZnO. The optimum photocatalytic activity of α-Fe 2 O 3 /ZnO composite with molar ratio of 1:7 was nearly 2 times as high as that of pure ZnO. The remarkably increased performance of α-Fe 2 O 3 /ZnO was mainly attributed to the synergistic effect between α-Fe 2 O 3 and ZnO. A series of α-Fe 2 O 3 /ZnO composites with different α-Fe 2 O 3 contents were successfully prepared by a simple and rapid method. The products were characterized by XRD, FESEM and UV–vis DRS. Photocatalytic activity of the as-prepared α-Fe 2 O 3 /ZnO composites was evaluated by degradation of persistent organic pollutant pentachlorophenol (PCP) in aqueous solution. Compared with pure ZnO, α-Fe 2 O 3 /ZnO composites show higher photocatalytic activity under UV–vis light irradiation. A coordination polymeric crystal 1 was successfully synthesized from H 4 L (5,5′-(1,4-phenylenebis (methoxy))diisophthalic acid), bidpe (4,4′-bis(lmidazolyl)diphenyl ether), and Zn(NO 3) 2 ·6H 2 O under solvothermal conditions, and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Then, two new crystals 1 Fe and 1 Cu were obtained with metal ion exchange when 1 was dipped into the DMF solution for FeCl 2 and CuCl 2 , respectively. The exchange process demonstrated that the high valence metal ion with strong acidity could be destroyed the structure of the crystals. Therefore, it should be exchanged with lower valence ion and then oxidized to the high valence state, which could be a feasible way to obtain the crystals with high valence metal ions. Further, the magnetic property and the synergistic CO 2 conversion with epoxide for 1 Fe and 1 Cu were also investigated, and the results shown that 1 Fe could be regarded as a potential catalyst for this conversion. Abstract: Mesoporous TiO2 microspheres of sizes varying from 0.5 to 4.5μm, which are composed of numerous pure anatase TiO2 nanoparticles of diameter ∼18nm were successfully synthesized via a facile route without any template or structure-directing agent. XRD, FESEM, UV–vis DRS and N2 adsorption–desorption analysis were used to characterize the product. A possible auto-orientation assembly formation mechanism of the TiO2 spherical structure has been proposed. Experimental results show that the obtained mesoporous TiO2 microspheres can be used as photocatalyst to effectively degrade persistent organic pollutant pentachlorophenol under UV irradiation, and the photocatalytic activity of them is much higher than that of commercial P25. Abstract: A series of group 12 metal coordination polymers with 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane dioxide (dppeO2), {[ZnCl2(μ-dppeO2)]·CH2Cl2} n (1·CH2Cl2), [ZnBr2(μ-dppeO2)] n (2), [CdI2(μ-dppeO2)] n (4), [(HgI2)2(μ-dppeO2)] n (5), [Zn(SCN)(μ-SCN)(μ-dppeO2)] n (6), and [Cd(NO3)(μ-SCN)(μ-dppeO2)] n (7), have been synthesized and structurally characterized. The structures of the compounds are all based on an infinite 1D chain constructed by four-coordinate metal ions and dppeO2 ligands adopting the trans bridging coordination fashion. In the coordination polymers 1, 2 and 4, the halide ions act as terminal ligands, leading to discrete 1D chains with alternative MX2 and dppeO2 repeating units. The mercury compound 5 features a unique square-wave-like inorganic chain –[Hg(1)–I–Hg(2)–I]–, and the 1D HgI2(μ-dppeO2) chains are further linked by HgI2 bridges to form a 3D network. In the thiocyanate-containing compounds 6 and 7, the 1D chains are linked by one (6) or two (7) bridging SCN– ions to result in 2D layered structures. Solid-state emission spectra of the coordination polymers show different variations compared to the free dppeO2 ligand, such as enhancement (1, 2, 6 and 7), shift (3 and 4) and quenching (5) upon metal coordination. New suites of sulfonic acid-functionalized microporous ionic polymers (PIPs) catalysts were synthesized with polymer, alkyl bromides, and 1, 3-propane sultone via a two-step procedure. The synthesized microporous PIP catalysts were characterized using FT-IR, SEM-Mapping, XPS, N 2 adsorption–desorption isotherms, solid NMR spectroscopy, and element analysis. Esterification of several fatty acids with ethanol, which was used as a model reaction in the stabilization of Jatropha curcas seed oil, was checked over functionalized PIP. We tested the catalytic performance of PIP-C 8 on the synthesis of fatty acid esters via the transesterification of J. curcas seed oil with a mixture of short-chain alcohols such as ethanol, ethanol–to–diethyl carbonate (1;1 molar ratio), and ethanol–to–dimethyl carbonate (1:1 molar ratio) with 170 mg of PIP-C 8 at reflux temperature with agitation. The PIP-C 8 catalyst was particularly effective, having achieved yields of 85%, 94%, and 70% for J. curcas seed oil with ethanol, J. curcas seed oil with ethanol–to–DEC, and J. curcas seed oil with ethanol–to–DMC, respectively, under the optimized reaction conditions. The catalyst could be recycled more than five times without significant deactivation. Kinetic studies performed at different temperatures revealed that the conversion of oleic acid to an ethyl ester follows a first-order reaction. The best catalysts with microporous structure (average pore diameter: 1.7–1.9 nm, pore volume: 0.23–0.33 cm3 g–1) and –SO 3 H density (0.70–0.84 mmol/g cat) were obtained by 1, 3-propane sultone of the chemically activated.
