With the rapid development of endoscopic technology, fully endoscopic microvascular decompression (MVD) has been widely used in the treatment of hemifacial spasm (HFS), and has achieved good effect. The present study reviewed 5 cases of HFS treated by fully endoscopic MVD. After fully endoscopic MVD, the symptom of facial involuntary twitching was relieved in each of the 5 patients with an effective rate of 100%. Among the cases, 4 had no postoperative complications, such as cranial nerve dysfunction, and cerebellar or brainstem injury, while 1 patient had postoperative aseptic meningitis and recovered after follow-up treatment. In these 5 cases of MVD, endoscopy played an important role in identifying the offending blood vessels, which is of great significance to improve the surgical effect and safety. Furthermore, the postoperative effects showed that endoscopy has certain potential and advantages in MVD. Therefore, fully endoscopic MVD is also a feasible method for the treatment of HFS.

Suspended and high-rise soil blocks of damaged rammed earth city wall generally reinforced by anchorage technology. According to the cultural relic protection principle, the primary task is to evaluate the anchoring force demands. Based on the analysis of formation mechanism and failure modes of dangerous soil blocks under earthquake, the disaster formation process caused by the cumulative section cracking is revealed, and the basic conditions for maintaining stability of the anchored city walls are analyzed. Then, a simplified mechanical model of cantilever beam was proposed for two typical failure modes. With the combination of energy conversion principle, the quasi-static method was used to derive the calculation formulas for the critical horizontal earthquake acceleration and the anchoring force demands. The advantage and disadvantage factors for the stability of sites were clarified with corresponding anchorage design suggestions. Finally, the influence of earthquake acceleration and existing cracks on anchoring force demands and critical earthquake acceleration are discussed through practical cases. The results showed that the optimal anchoring angles of sites under different failure modes are quite different; the increase of earthquake acceleration and cumulative cracking of the sections will increase the anchoring force demands significantly.

Although plant-plant interactions have been intensively studied, few studies examined sex-related neighbor interactions in dioecious plant species. Here, we investigated the sexual diffe-rences in biomass accumulation, and analyzed the sexual neighbor effects and yields of sexual combination in尽管植物邻体关系受到广泛关注,但关于雌雄异株植物性别间邻体关系的研究还较少。本研究比较了雌、雄青杨幼苗生物量的积累对其邻株性别和土壤灭菌的响应差异,并分析了性别间的邻体效应关系及不同性别混栽下生物量的差异。结果表明: 同性邻株模式降低了青杨雌株或雄株生物量的积累,而异性邻株模式在未灭菌条件下促进了雌株的生物量积累;土壤灭菌抑制了雌雄株生物量的积累,尤其是雌株;灭菌对同性邻体效应无显著影响,但异性邻株对雌株的效应由正相关关系变为中性相关,对雄株的效应由中性关系变为负相关;在所有组合中,未灭菌下的雌雄组合生物量最高,而灭菌下的雄雄组合生物量最低。雌雄青杨的生长对邻株性别的响应不同,且邻体效应受土壤微生物的影响。研究结果可为高产杨树人工林的栽培提供支撑。.

This paper takes the preservation works on the archaeological sites of Gaochang Ruins, Xinjiang, as background. Based on the soil characteristics analysis on the archaeological sites, experimental studies were conducted on the consolidation effect of the BS-10 consolidation material on the archaeological sites of adobe and rammed earth. The results showed the following:, after consolidation, the wind erosion resistance of the soil on the archaeological sites was substantially increased, and the wind erosion modulus was reduced by 5~8 times; the soil exhibited fine grid structure and significantly reduced degree of permeability, while still maintaining the moisture exchange between inside and outside the soil; there is excellent ageing resistance; the resistance to freezing and thawing was closely related to the soil water content and had little influence in arid regions; the water resistance was improved and could satisfy the requirements for consolidating the sites in arid regions; the unconfined compressive strength was improved moderately, which was the key direction of improvement in the future, and the consolidated soil did not form duricrust on the surface and had good bonding strength with the internal parts. The BS-10 material can meet the consolidation requirements for the earthen archaeological sites in arid regions of northwest China.

This paper introduces a new database structure which is different from the existed one that only consists of press and release time. To improve, we add eigenvalue of pressure to it and we compare the results of new database structure with the old one to clarify whether the adding eigenvalue of pressure can improve the efficiency of the system. In addition, we come up a different keystroke dynamics method, Hidden Markov Models, to examine the efficiency of the new database structure and compare it with the results from another similar one, One-Class Support Vector Machine, to figure out whether Hidden Markov Models will behave better.

This paper proposes a new definition of VC dimension based on probability. The VC dimension is the most important parameter to evaluate the learning ability of a hypothesis set. However, in many actual problems, the origin VC dimension is always too large to use. And there always exists a paradox between the size of hypothesis set and the range of confidence interval. This paper solves these problems by taking the information of data set and probability into consideration. We propose a new definition of VC dimension based on probability and gives a stronger VC bound.

International audience; As Unmanned Aerial Vehicle's (UAV) battery life and stability develop, multiple UAVs are having more and more applications in the uninterrupted patrol and security. Thus UAV's searching, tracking and trajectory planning become important issues. This paper proposes an online distributed algorithm used in UAV's tracking and searching, with the consideration of UAV's practical need to recharge under limited power. We propose a Quantum Probability Model to describe the partially observable target positions, and we use Upper Confidence Tree (UCT) algorithm to find out the best searching and tracking route based on this model. We also introduce the Teammate Learning Model to handle the nonstationary problems in distributed reinforcement learning.

Z-pins reinforced 2D ceramic matrix composites (CMCs), integratedly designed new materials, are developed to enhance 2D CMCs through-thickness in the form of Z-pins and to ensure significant increase in interlaminar fracture toughness, delamination resistance and impact resistance, and Z-pins reinforced 2D CMCs have much application. A manual pre-stitching method is developed to make holes in the graphite fixture to control Z-pins row spacings and to introduce yarns of 3000 T300 carbon fibers bundle into a preform. Z-pins reinforced woven CMCs for research were manufactured successfully by repeatedly using chemical vapor infiltration (CVI) to infiltrate SiC matrix into woven preform and carbon fiber sutures. It is shown that this method of manufactured Z-pins reinforced woven CMC is feasible.

Based on the electric field research, IEEE can't give the resonance mechanism of reradiation interference (RRI) from power lines above 1.7MHz frequency. In order to solve this problem, the generalized resonance theory is introduced, and a method based on the electromagnetic (EM) energy balance theory is proposed to predict the RRI resonant frequency. Firstly, take the large-scale space consisted of ultra high voltage (UHV) power lines and antenna arrays as the generalized closed system. Then based on the complex Poynting theory, the expression of EM open systems' generalized resonance factor is derived, and the RRI resonant frequency corresponds to the zero point of the generalized resonance factor's imaginary part. Take the case researched by IEEE as an example, the results shows that the maximum deviation of the resonant frequency between the calculation values predicted by the generalized resonance theory and the measurement values given by the scaled model experiment are less than ±0.169MHz below 1.7MHz frequency.
