Green technological innovation has the dual benefit of promoting economic development and limiting environmental pollution and is critical to sustainable development in developing countries. This study assessed the green innovation effects of ecological civilization pilot policies by using the difference-indifferences approach, mediating effects model, and causal forest algorithm. The results showed that: (1) The ecological civilization pilot policy increased the level of green technology innovation in the pilot area by 27.9 %. (2) Urbanization partially mediated the impact process of ecological civilization pilot policies on green technology innovation, and the green innovation effect transmitted through urbanization was about 28%. (3) When energy structure and financial support were taken as the conditions, the green innovation effect of the ecological civilization pilot policy respectively showed an S-shaped curve and an inverted U-shaped curve. The coupled rotor/ship flowfield is investigated using the Navier–Stokes solver when the helicopter rotor hovers in the ship's airwake. The solid rotor model (SRM) and virtual rotor model (VRM) are employed, considering the different types of rotor simulation by the momentum source method. Qualitative and quantitative rotor/ship coupled flowfield analyses are conducted when the rotor hovers at different locations and with different wind-over-deck conditions. The results show that both models effectively reflect the different vortex interactions and velocity distributions in the rotor/ship coupled flowfield, and the discrepancy of velocity magnitudes between the SRM and VRM is kept within 1 m/s under most conditions. Moreover, a comparison is made of computational costs between the SRM with the moving overset mesh method and the VRM during a helicopter vertical shipboard landing. It is shown that the computational time of the VRM is smoother than the SRM by about 10 times. Considering the computational cost, it is more appropriate to use the VRM to conduct coupled flowfield studies in the helicopter/ship dynamic interface. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The pass ability on split ramps is an important dynamics performance of electric vehicles (EVs). However, the current traction control system (TCS) requires the vehicle to have a high-intensity driving capability and sometime the braking assistance control is required, which is a waste of cost and energy. To improve the traction control ability and reduce the power demands, a centralized and distributed coupling TCS based on the designed dual-mode coupling drive system is proposed. The coupling traction control mechanism is analyzed, the TCS based on S-line control and optimal slope-seeking algorithm is designed, and the traction control effect is verified by the co-simulation and real vehicle road test. The research results show that adopting coupling traction control can give full play to system power to improve the pass ability, the optimal slip rate control can be realized and the control difficulty also be reduced. Background: Liver cancer stem cells (LCSCs) have been shown to express higher levels of microRNA-21 (miR-21). Here, we examine the possible contributions of miR-21 to the phenotype of LCSCs in culture and in xenograft tumors in nude mice. Methods: The hepatocellular carcinoma cell line MHCC-97H was stably transformed with a retroviral vector to establish cells overexpressing miR-21, while a cell line transformed with empty vector served as a negative control. RT-PCR and Western blotting were used to evaluate the effects of miR-21 overexpression on the expression of various LCSC markers, a Transwell assay was used to assess the effects on cell migration and invasion, and a spheroid formation assay was used to examine the effects on clonogenesis. The effects of miR-21 overexpression were also examined in tumors in nude mice. Results: An MHCC-97H cell line was constructed that stably overexpresses miR-21 at 7.78 ± 1.51-fold higher levels than the negative control cell line. Expression of the LCSC markers CD13, Ep-CAM, CD90, and OCT4 was significantly higher in the miR-21-overexpressing cell line than in the negative control at both mRNA and protein levels. The overexpressing cell line formed larger, tighter, and more numerous spheroids. Overexpression of miR-21 was associated with greater cell migration and invasion. Tumors of overexpressing cells in nude mice had a significantly larger mean volume after 34 days of growth (773.62 ± 163.46 mm³) than tumors of negative control cells (502.79 ± 33.94 mm3, p = 0.048), as well as greater mean weight (0.422 ± 0.019 vs. 0.346 ± 0.006 g, p = 0.003). Conclusions: Overexpression of miR-21 strengthens the phenotype of LCSCs, facilitating invasion, migration, and tumorigenesis in hepatocellular carcinoma. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In sustaining the soil quality, soil salinization has become a major challenge due to the increasing salinity rate of 10% annually. Despite, the serious concerns, the influence of soil amendments on microbial communities and its related attributes have limited findings. Therefore, the present study aims to investigate the potential of three various biochars, digestate (DI), and its compost (COM) in reclamation of saline soil under closed ecosystem. The decrease in the pH was displayed by lignite char , and electrical conductivity by lignite char plus COM addition among all the treatments. The subside in Na +, with a significant rise in K +, was exhibited in soils amended with DI plus DI biochar as a combined ameliorate over control. The negative priming effects on native soil organic carbon (nSOC) due to the decreased substrate bioavailability, in corn straw and DI biochars ameliorates were noted. The urease and alkaline phosphatase activity were pronounced higher in COM. However, the catalase and fluorescein diacetate activity were greater in lignite char plus DI and COM respectively. The co-addition of biochar and organic substrates shifted microbial community, is in correspondence with the relative abundance of the phylum. Overall, the abundance of Firmicutes and Actinobacteria was higher in soils under a combination of lignite char with DI and COM respectively. Likely, the abundance of Euryarchaeota was dominant in the co-application of corn straw biochar and DI. Redundancy analysis revealed the intactness between bacterial genera and their metabolisms with K +, and Mg 2+. PICRUSt disclosed the enhanced metabolic functions in soil with amalgam of DI and its biochar. The findings showed that the application of DI and its biochar mixture, as an amendment could be a better approach in the long-term reclamation of saline soil.
