Bu makale profesyonel askerî eğitim modellerinin gelişimini ve Türkiye’nin bu alandaki tecrübesini Kara Harp Okulu örneği üzerinden incelemektedir. Bu amaçla Türkiye dâhil sekiz ülkenin profesyonel askerî eğitim modellerinin ana hatları açıklanmıştır. Subaylık mesleğine özgü okullar başlangıçtan günümüze değin dönemin şartlarına ve her ülkenin kendi önceliklerine göre değişmiştir. Buna rağmen profesyonel askerî eğitimin ana ilkeleri üzerindeki tartışmalar devamlılık arz etmektedir. Başlangıçta sadece “askerler tarafından askerler için” şeklinde özetlenebilecek olan askerî eğitim günümüzde sivil-asker iş birliği ve üniversiteleşme eğilimindedir. Makalenin ana argümanı, Türkiye’nin de Osmanlı döneminden itibaren bu ana akımları takip etmesine rağmen kısır tartışmalar, reform hareketlerine karşı direnç ve ülkenin iç siyasetinde krizlere varan dalgalanmalar neticesinde askerî eğitim sisteminde melez modeller üzerinden ilerlediği yönündedir. Modern askerî eğitim sisteminin genellikle kriz durumları ile birlikte değiştiği, ancak bu değişimin eski sistemi tamamen ortadan kaldıramadan sadece bazı yönlerini etkileyebildiği görülmektedir. Ayrıca askerî eğitimin felsefesinin anlaşılamaması ve kısa vadeli ihtiyaçlara öncelik verilmesi bu melezleşmeyi pekiştirmiştir. Bu durum periyodik olarak sisteme müdahale edilmesine yol açmıştır. Bununla birlikte 2016 darbe girişiminden sonra ilk defa ülkeye özgü bir modelin geliştirilebildiğini söylemek mümkündür. Ancak bu modelin de geçmiştekilerle aynı sorunu yaşamaması için eğitimin ana prensiplerine sadık kalınması ve radikal değişimlere açık olunması gerektiği değerlendirilmektedir., This article examines the development of professional military education models and Türkiye's experience through the example of the Turkish Military Academy-Harbiye. The main features of PME models from eight nations, including Türkiye, are outlined for this purpose. Since their inception, military schools have evolved in response to changing circumstances and national priorities. Despite this evolution, the main principles of professional military education are still being debated. Professional military education, which may be described as "by the soldiers for the soldiers" initially, is now primarily focused on civil-military collaboration and university education. The article's main argument is that although Türkiye has followed these main trends since the Ottoman period, it disrupted each model and turned them into mixed models due to vicious debates, resistance to reform movements, and volatility in the country's domestic politics. The Turkish professional military education system generally changes after a crisis, but this change can only affect some aspects of the old system without completely eliminating it. In addition, the lack of understanding of the philosophy of military education and the priority given to short-term needs reinforced this hybridization. This situation led to periodic interventions in the system. It is possible to say that a country-specific model was developed for the first time after the 2016 coup attempt. However, it is stated that in order for this model to avoid the same problems as previous ones, it is vital to adhere to main educational principles while still being open to radical innovations.

Dès le début de la mission d’exploration archéologique d’Antioche en 1932, le faubourg de Daphné a bénéficié d’une attention toute particulière qui a permis de dégager les restes de riches villas suburbaines, un théâtre, des vestiges des aqueducs et une petite église byzantine. Toutefois, si ces quelques années d’exploration ont permis de mieux appréhender la topographie des lieux, elles se sont limitées principalement à la partie septentrionale du plateau et n’ont donc pas permis de retrouver des traces du célèbre sanctuaire apollinien. Les études récentes ont complété notre connaissance du faubourg, en particulier par l’étude de photographies aériennes de l’époque du protectorat français et quelques découvertes fortuites. Archaeological topography of the Daphne suburb Abstract – From the beginning of the archaeological exploration of Antioch in 1932, the suburb of Daphne has received particular attention, so that some remains of luxurious villas, a theatre, rests of aqueducts and a little byzantine church have been excavated. Such fieldwork allowed to better understand the topography of the site. However, it concerned mainly the northern part of the plateau, and didn’t permit to discover remains of the famous sanctuary of Apollo. Recent studies have completed our knowledge of the suburb, in particular through the analysis of aerials photographs from the period of the French mandate and fortuitous discoveries. الطبوغرافية الأثرية لضاحية دافنيحظيت ضاحية دافني منذ بداية بعثات التنقيب الأثري في أنطاكية في عام ١٩٣٢ باهتمام خاص أسفر عن الكشف عن بقايا فيلات غنية فخمة ومسرح وبقايا قنوات مائية وكنيسة بيزنطية صغيرة. ومع أن هذه السنوات القليلة من الاستكشاف قد مكنت من فهم تضاريس المكان بشكل أفضل إلا أنها اقتصرت بشكل أساسي على الجزء الشمالي من الهضبة وبالتالي لم تسمح لنا بالعثور على آثار معبد أبوللو الشهير. لقد كملّت الدراسات الحديثة معرفتنا بالضاحية ولا سيما من خلال دراسة الصور الجوية في فترة الانتداب الفرنسي وبعض الاكتشافات الطارئة.

Novels, accepted as thenarrationtypes of the modern age, have an importantground in providing the representation of the main idea (themessage). Thisposition of the novel results from both it srelation withtheworld of thoughts (ideas) and its suitability for coveying the message. With its multi-structural form, novel is theforth-cominggenre of the fiction, and duet othose qualifications novel has often attracted the critics’ attention. Looking at the Republican era novels, in multi-centered structure the Westernization is among different themes and ideas gained a considerable importance. Fort hat reason, it’s been seen that the novels belonging to the Republic and pre-Republicperiods, which mostly work the theme of Occidentalizationtendencies, are frequently subject of evaluation. Fatih-Harbiye by Peyami Safa-among the notable writers of this period- has an important place for having a content like this. In this book, a young girl named Nariman, who tides between the Eastern and Western ideas and as a result of content some of the conflicts are handled. As a result of these conflicts, the glory of Eastern thought and tradition came out in this young girl's Eastern thought decision. The attention was drawn to the establishment of a synthesis between Eastern and Western ideas. Inthis paper, the structural elments of Fatih-Harbiye a re-investigated within the context of opportunities of novel as a literary genre and the maticalequivalents in the work are discussed. Beside having some original implications, traces of the general tendencies of the period are visible in the novel. Besides, the placement of the confliction components inside the novel as the indicatorsof the structure are discussed and some findings at this point are presented to the attention of there aders.

Osmanlı Devlet adamları XVIII. yüzyılın başından itibaren savaşların yenilgi ile sonuçlanmasını önlemek amacıyla öncelikle yabancı uzmanlardan faydalanmak suretiyle askerî alanda yenileşme hamlesine girişmiştir. Yüzyılın sonlarına gelindiğinde ise modern askerî eğitim kurumlarının oluşturulmasına başlanmıştır. Askerî, siyasî ve ekonomik gerilemeyi durdurmak isteyen Osmanlı Devlet adamları, askerî eğitimde başladığı batılılaşma hareketlerini XIX. yüzyılda ülkenin geneline yayarak taşrada da askerî eğitim kurumları açmıştır. Öncelikle ordu merkezlerinde askerî okullar açarak devletin ihtiyacı olan modern tarzda yetişmiş subay ihtiyacını temin etmeye çalışmıştır. Bu bağlamda ilk olarak Kanuni Sultan Süleyman daha sonra da IV. Murad zamanında Osmanlı topraklarına katılan ve 1639'dan 1917'e kadar Osmanlı toprağı olan Bağdat Vilâyeti'nde ilk modern askerî rüşdiye okulu, Bağdat valisi Midhat Paşa zamanında açılmıştır. Daha sonraki yıllarda bunu İdâdî ve Harbiye okullarının açılışı takip etmiştir. Bu çalışmada 6. Ordunun Merkezi olan Bağdat Vilâyeti'nde açılan askerî mekteplerden rüşdiye, idâdî ve harbiye ele alınacaktır. Bu okullarda görev alan idareciler, öğretmenler, zâbitler, memurlar, hademeler ile eğitim öğretim sırasında verilen dersler ve öğrenci sayıları ile ilgili bilgi verilecektir, From the XVIII. Later a military high school and higher military education schools were opened in the province of Bağdat. This study deals with the description of these military schools in the province of the Bağdat which was the center of the 6. army. More specifically, information about their administrators, teachers, military officers, civil servants and janitor will be provided as well as the courses and the number of students will be given

Sultan II. Abdülhamid Döneminde Mekteb-i Harbiye-i Şahane hakkında araştırma yapılmıştır.

Hatay’ın Antakya merkezinde bulunan Harbiye kaynak suyunun su kalitesi özelliklerini belirlemek amacıyla gerçekleştirilen bu çalışmaya Nisan 2003 tarihinde başlanılmış ve 12 ay boyunca yürütülmüş olup, su örnekleri aylık olarak toplanmıştır. Su kalitesi parametrelerinden çözünmüş oksijen, pH, sıcaklık, tuzluluk, kimyasal oksijen ihtiyacı (KOİ), biyolojik oksijen ihtiyacı (BOİ), toplam alkalinite, toplam sertlik, askıda katı madde (AKM), amonyak azotu, nitrit, nitrat, fosfat, sülfit, sülfat, klor, potasyum, sodyum ve silis analizleri yapılmıştır. Yapılan çalışma sonucunda Harbiye kaynak suyunun su kalitesi parametrelerinin aylara göre değişimleri belirlenmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda kaynak suyunun alabalık çiftliği için uygun kalite de olduğu anlaşılmıştır.
