Inspired by the work by Brychkov and Saad who gave infinite summation formulas for Appell functions (of two variables) with the help of summation theorems, we, using a new inverse pair of symbolic operators, establish infinite summation formulas for four Lauricella functions of three variables. Abstract

The double-layer potential plays an important role in solving boundary value problems for elliptic equations. All the fundamental solutions of the generalized bi-axially symmetric Helmholtz equation were known, and only for the first one was constructed the theory of potential. Here, in this paper, we aim at constructing theory of double-layer potentials corresponding to the next fundamental solution. In this article, we generalized Mittag‐Leffler‐type functions F¯A(3),F¯B(3),F¯C(3)$$ {\overline{F}}_A^{(3)},{\overline{F}}_B^{(3)},{\overline{F}}_C^{(3)} $$, and F¯D(3)$$ {\overline{F}}_D^{(3)} $$, which correspond, respectively, to the familiar Lauricella hypergeometric functions FA(3),FB(3),FC(3)$$ {F}_A^{(3)},{F}_B^{(3)},{F}_C^{(3)} $$, and FD(3)$$ {F}_D^{(3)} $$ of three variables. Initially, from the Mittag‐Leffler type function in the simplest form to the functions we are studying, necessary information about the development history, study, and importance of this and hypergeometric type functions will be introduced. Among the various properties and characteristics of these three‐variable Mittag‐Leffler‐type function F¯D(3)$$ {\overline{F}}_D^{(3)} $$, which we investigate in the article, include their relationships with other extensions and generalizations of the classical Mittag‐Leffler functions, their three‐dimensional convergence regions, their Euler‐type integral representations, their Laplace transforms, and their connections with the Riemann‐Liouville operators of fractional calculus. The link of three‐variable Mittag‐Leffler function with fractional differential equation systems involving different fractional orders is necessary on certain applications in physics.Therefore, we provide the systems of partial differential equations which are associated with them. In [18], fundamental solutions for the generalized bi-axially symmetric Helmholtz equation were constructed in $R_2^ + = \left\{ {\left( {x,y} \right):x > 0,y > 0} \right\}.$ They contain Kummer's confluent hypergeometric functions in three variables. Here we choose the Exton function $K_{2}$ among his 21 functions to show how to find the linearly independent solutions of partial differential equations satisfied by this function $K_{2}$. 10. Fundamental solutions for a class of three-dimensional elliptic equations with singular coefficients

Abstract

We consider an equation $$ L_{\alpha ,\beta ,\gamma} (u) \equiv u_{xx} + u_{yy} + u_{zz} + \displaystyle \frac{{2\alpha}}{x}u_x + \displaystyle \frac{{2\beta}}{y}u_y + \displaystyle \frac{{2\gamma}}{z}u_z = 0 $$ in a domain ${\bf R}_3^ + \equiv {{({x,y,z}): x > 0, y > 0, z > 0}}$. Here $\alpha ,\beta ,\gamma$ are constants, moreover $0 < 2\alpha, 2\beta, 2\gamma < 1$. Main result of this paper is a construction of eight fundamental solutions for above-given equation in an explicit form. They are expressed by Lauricella's hypergeometric functions with three variables. Using expansion of Lauricella's hypergeometric function by products of Gauss's hypergeometric functions, it is proved that the found solutions have a singularity of the order $1/r$ at $r \to 0$., Comment: 9 pages

Abstract

In this work we begin with a brief survey of the generalization of various Gaussian series introduced so far. One dimensional Gaussian series is Hypergeometric functions of several variables arise in quantum field theory as solutions of the Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equations. These equations can be considered as generalized equations of hypergeometric type, and their solutions admit integral representations that generalize the classical Euler integrals for hypergeometric functions of one variable. In this paper, for the elliptic equation with two lines of different order of degeneration, given in the first quarter of the plane (x,y)$$ \left(x,y\right) $$, four fundamental solutions are constructed that are expressed by Appell's hypergeometric functions F2$$ {F}_2 $$ of two variables. By means the decomposition formula of the Appell's function in products of the Gauss hypergeometric function, it is proved that the constructed fundamental solutions possess a logarithmic singularity for r→0$$ r\to 0 $$. Abstract

This article studies the properties of the Campe de Feriet function of two arguments of the third order. Integral representations and a system of partial differential equations of hypergeometric type are proved. It is indicated that the resulting system of hypergeometric type has nine linearly independent solutions at the origin. В этой статье изучаются свойства функции Кампе де Фериет от двух аргументов третьего порядка . Доказаны интегральные представления и система дифференциальных уравнений в частных производных гипергеометрического типа. Указано, что полученная система гипергеометрического типа в начале координат имеет девять линейно независимые решения.

Recently, Casadei [4] provided an explicit formula for statistical marginal model in terms of Poisson-Gamma mixture. This model involving certain polynomials which play the key role in reference analysis of the signal and background model in counting experiments. The principal object of this paper is to present a natural further step toward the mathematical properties concerning this polynomials. We Ąrst obtain explicit representations for these polynomials in form of the Laguerre polynomials and the conĆuent hyper-geometric function and then based on these representations we derive a number of useful properties including generating functions, recurrence relations, differential equation, Rodrigues formula, Ąnite sums and integral transforms. Abstract

By using the reciprocally inverse operators of the Burchnall and Chaundy type introduced by Choi and Hasanov in 2011, we aim at deriving certain decomposition formulas for some Gauss's triple hypergeometric functions. Abstract

In our present investigation we propose to present certain decomposition formulas for Kampé de Fériets series of double hypergeometric series Fl:m;np:q;k. Based upon the theory of symbolic operators, we introduce a new symbolic operational images and by means of these symbolic operational images a number of decomposition formulas for Kampé de Fériets series are then found.
