In plants, MAP65 preferentially cross-links the anti-parallel microtubules (MTs) and plays an important role for cytokinesis. However, the functions of MAP65 isoforms in rice (Oryza sativa. L) are largely unknown. Here, we identified two MAP65-3 homologs in rice, OsMAP65-3.1 and OsMAP65-3.2. We found that both OsMAP65-3.1 and OsMAP65-3.2 were similar in dimerization and location to AtMAP65-3, and the expression of either rice genes driven by the AtMAP65-3 promoter suppressed the cytokinesis failure and growth defect of atmap65-3. However, OsMAP65-3.1 with native promoter also recovered the atmap65-3, but OsMAP65-3.2 with its own promoter had no effects. OsMAP65-3.1 but not OsMAP65-3.2 was actively expressed in tissues enriched with dividing cells. R1R2R3-Myb (MYB3R) transcription factors directly bound to the OsMAP65-3.1 promoter but not that of OsMAP65-3.2. Furthermore, osmap65-3.2 had no obvious phenotype, while either osmap65-3.1 or osmap65-3.1(+/-) was lethal. The eminent MTs around the daughter nuclei and cytokinesis defects were frequently observed in OsMAP65-3.1-defective plants. Taken together, our findings suggest that OsMAP65-3.1, rather than OsMAP65-3.2, plays essential roles in rice cytokinesis resulting from their differential expression which were passably directly regulated by OsMYB3Rs.

Background Hypoparathyroidism is one of the common complications of radical thyroidectomy, but there are few studies on differentiated thyroid cancer. Objective To investigate the influencing factors of hypoparathyroidism in patients with differentiated thyroid carcinoma after radical thyroidectomy. Methods A total of 166 patients with differentiated thyroid carcinoma who underwent radical thyroidectomy from 940 Hospital of PLA Joint Logistics Support Force from June 2018 to December 2020 were included, and their clinical data were collected, including gender, age, body mass index (BMI), tumor site, tumor size, blood supply of lesion, whether there is capsule invasion, surgical method, scope of lymph node dissection, whether there is use of carbon nanoparticles, parathyroid gland resection. Also, this study monitors preoperative and postoperative serum PTH and follow-up monitoring levels of Ca2+. Results Among the 166 patients, the incidence of postoperative hypoparathyroidism was 28.31% (47/166), among which the incidence of temporary hypoparathyroidism was 21.68% (36/166) and the incidence of permanent hypoparathyroidism was 6.63% (11/166). For LCC-HVDC system with renewable energy integration, the randomness and variability of renewable energy will cause wide variations in the short-circuit capacity provided by the AC system. To effectively assess the supporting capability of the AC system, this paper proposes an active short-circuit capacity identification method for LCC-HVDC system considering the integration of renewable energy. First, an equivalent AC system was established based on Thevenin theorem, and the equivalent electromotive force was calculated. Then, the sensitivity of the voltage at the point of common coupling (PCC) to the active and reactive power flowing through the PCC was computed. Through sensitivity analysis, the key factors affecting the identification of the equivalent resistance and reactance were studied. Based on this, an active short-circuit capacity identification method combining the switching of filters and changes in DC power was proposed. Finally, a simulation model of LCC-HVDC system with grid-following wind power integration was built in PSCAD/EMTDC for verification. The results show that the proposed method is applicable to AC systems with different impedance characteristics. Moreover, with the increase of the grid-following renewable energy, the short-circuit capacity provided by the AC system shows a decreasing trend. The proposed method can actively identify the short-circuit capacity of AC system with renewable energy, thus provides a theoretical basis for the development of control strategies for LCC converter station under different AC system strength. Continuously manipulating the resonant wavelength of lasing modes within a large spectral range is of great significance for expanding device functionality. Here, to synthesize a single CsPbClxBr3‐x perovskite microwire with the energy bandgap gradient spanning from 2.33 to 2.83 eV along the length direction defined as the axis by using the vapor‐phase anion exchange method is proposed. A high‐quality (≈103), wide range (≈60 nm), and continuously tunable single‐mode laser is achieved in as‐prepared perovskite microwire alloy, which provides both gain media and microresonator. Simultaneously, the exciton recombination dynamics and atomic‐scale interdiffusion mechanisms at different components are clarified through time‐resolved photoluminescence (PL) spectra and theoretical calculations. The vacancy defects have a significant impact on the interdiffusion of halogen anions, excitonic recombination lifetime, and fluorescence quantum efficiency. Achieving high‐quality, frequency‐upconversion single‐mode lasing output is an important requirement for developing new nonlinear optoelectronic devices, such as on‐chip optical communication, nonlinear optical switches, and optical parametric amplifiers. Here, an individual CsPbBr3 microwire prepared by the anti‐solvent method is served as both gain media and microresonator to achieve two‐photon pumped frequency upconversion single‐mode lasing with the side‐mode suppression ratio of 18 dB. Meanwhile, the refractive index of orthorhombic perovskite is theoretically calculated based on first principles, and determining its square whispering‐gallery oscillation type by combining with the plane wave model and the steady‐state oscillation conditions of laser. The extracted exciton binding energy of 33.15 meV higher than the thermal ionization energy of room temperature (≈26 meV) suggests that the as‐grown CsPbBr3 microwires possess the capacity to achieve two‐photon pumped lasing output, as well further gaining deeper insights into the role of exciton‐phonon coupling in light emission. A recent study conducted in China examined the impact of pre-existing lung diseases on the outcomes of COVID-19 in cancer patients who had received immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs). The study found that lung diseases, specifically interstitial lung disease (ILD) and atelectasis, were associated with worse clinical outcomes, severe symptoms, and increased respiratory support in these patients. However, lung cancer, pneumonia, and chronic bronchitis/COPD were not found to be associated with COVID-19 outcomes. The study emphasizes the importance of considering pre-existing lung diseases in the prevention and treatment of COVID-19, particularly in high-risk patients with poor prognoses.
