Abstract

For a perfectoid ring $R$ and a natural number $n$ we investigate the essential image of the category of truncated by $n$ Barsotti-Tate groups under the anti-equivalence between commutative, finite, locally free, $R$-group schemes of $p$-power order and torsion Breuil-Kisin-Fargues modules over $R$. We describe the associated semi-liner algebra data and show as a consequence that every $\text{BT}_n$-group over $R$ is the $p^n$-torsion of some $\text{BT}$-group., Comment: 16 pages

Abstract

Rigorous computer simulations of propagating electromagnetic fields have become an important tool for optical metrology and optics design of nanostructured components. As has been shown in previous benchmarks some of the presently used methods suffer from low convergence rates and/or low accuracy of the results and exhibit very long computation times which makes application to extended 2D layout patterns impractical. We address 3D simulation tasks by using a finite-element solver which has been shown to be superior to competing methods by several orders of magnitude in accuracy and computational time for typical microlithography simulations. We report on the current status of the solver, incorporating higher order edge elements, adaptive refinement methods, and fast solution algorithms. Abstract

This empirical study aims to test and extend the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) in the context of mental health chatbot usage among LGBTQIA+ individuals. The proposed model uses UTAUT variables (performance expectancy, effort expectancy and social influence) as well as chatbot-related variables (willingness to self-disclose, perceived loss of privacy, and trust) to predict the intention to use a mental health chatbot. The online survey (N = 305) indicates that performance expectancy, social influence, and willingness to self-disclose positively predict chatbot usage intention, whereas effort expectancy negatively influences this intention. Moreover, previous experience with healthcare chatbots moderated the relationship between social influence and intention, age moderated the relationship between willingness to self-disclose and intention, and gender identity moderated the relationship between perceived loss of privacy and intention. Overall, the extended UTAUT proved to be useful in explaining technology acceptance of mental health chatbots among the LGBTQIA+ community.

Abstract

Two-particle correlation functions of negative hadrons over wide phase space, and transverse mass spectra of negative hadrons and deuterons near mid-rapidity have been measured in central Pb+Pb collisions at 158 GeV per nucleon by the NA49 experiment at the CERN SPS. A novel Coulomb correction procedure for the negative two-particle correlations is employed making use of the measured oppositely charged particle correlation. Within an expanding source scenario these results are used to extract the dynamic characteristics of the hadronic source, resolving the ambiguities between the temperature and transverse expansion velocity of the source, that are unavoidable when single and two particle spectra are analysed separately. The source shape, the total duration of the source expansion, the duration of particle emission, the freeze-out temperature and the longitudinal and transverse expansion velocities are deduced.
