This article shows the creation of a dental clinical record through a tailor-made information system with the use of emerging technologies. The objective of the study is to glimpse a successful case of the implementation of an information system as an instrument in the follow-up of academic practices during the development of generic and specific competences of higher-level studies in the area of dentistry through the services provided to society. In the same way, that allows favoring the efficiency and effectiveness of the clinical history of patients for the benefit of health. The methodology used is the so-called Rapid Application Development (DRA) composed of four phases: requirements, design, production and testing and implementation. The result achieved was an information system that directly favors the management of a dental clinical record, mainly due to its interactive interface and its ease of use. Likewise, it is stated that software management can act as a strategic tool to optimize patient care, contributing directly to maintaining their health.

Today, the food industry processes are increasing both the costs and the consumption of energy through fossil fuels. The dehydration process to preserve food is increasingly used worldwide to safeguard both its organoleptic and nutritional properties, so it is essential to use renewable energies to replace conventional technologies. Mexico is a great producer and exporter of different mango varieties, with excellent culinary quality and nutritional properties. In the present work, direct cabinet-type solar dryers were used, and drying times between 420 and 540 min were obtained in fresh samples with 74.5% and 7.5% of initial and final humidity, respectively. Compared to its new mango content, glucose decreased in the dry samples.

El presente estudio responde a una investigación aplicada en el desarrollo de un Protocolo de Tesis, en el cual, se emplearon los preceptos de la agilidad y los elementos principales del marco de trabajo Scrum. Permitiendo acatar todos los requerimientos de fondo y forma en lo relativo a su contenido y, a su vez, empleando herramientas de uso específico para la gestión ágil. Los resultados admiten que el modelo iterativo e incremental de las prácticas comunes del enfoque ágil es adaptable y permite el perfeccionamiento del protocolo durante todo su desarrollo. Concluyendo que, Scrum es aplicable a la gestión de proyectos académico-científicos.

This research presents the results of the diagnosis of the current situation of the software industry in the City of San Francisco de Campeche, as well as the context in which it is at a national level. In March 2022, a survey was made to 83% of the software development companies in the city, with the use of the software called "Virtual Observatory" where an instrument consisting of 65 specific, observable and measurable indicators, classified in 3 categories referring to the organizational structure: Composition of Departments, Human Resources, Research, Innovation, Development and Technology. The indicators in turn were organized in 20 questions of closed format, which allowed to know the characteristics of the personnel, as well as the technologies that request to be mastered, and the different areas with which the companies operate. In this way, we contribute to the state of the art of the software industry in the community and thus detect areas of opportunity that detonate the economic development of the community.

The Universidad Autónoma de Campeche (UAC), in response to the sanitary measures due to the COVID-19 confinement and in order to reinforce its educational programs through online courses, joined the "Coursera for Campus" (CfC) program. This research presents the results of a comparative analysis between the educational offer offered by CfC and its relationship with the educational programs of the UAC. The results of the educational programs are presented classified by Department of Higher Education. The area with the greatest impact is Business, with 42 courses related to 12 educational programs, and Health with 37 courses that impact 7 educational programs. CfC's Language Learning area impacts all educational programs, since all of them consider the learning of a second language. It is also worth mentioning the courses in the Social Sciences area, which benefited 24 educational programs, as they are related to some of their Learning Units.

Education is a priority axis for the government of our country, Mexico. The teaching-learning process is a challenge in each classroom, its importance lies mainly in raising the productivity of society. In this context, the application of pedagogical approaches and environments that allow meaningful learning are sought. For its part, we identify learning styles as cognitive, physiological and affective traits, of how students perceive, interact and respond to different learning environments. The objective of this research is to analyze and evaluate learning styles as an indicator that serves as a starting point to distinguish the way in which students learn and guide the teaching act in the design of learning strategies according to a segmentation of students of according to their learning styles or their predominance to achieve meaningful learning. The study proposes a field investigation using the Honey Alonso Learning Styles Questionnaire (CHAEA) as a data collection instrument. The methodological process of the research was divided into two phases: the first covers the design and application of the CHAEA instrument. In the second, the results obtained by means of a frequency analysis are exhibited.

Currently, Scrum is one of the most recognized and used methodologies in agile project management. The main objective of this article is to analyze the planning phase in an agile project, integrating the life cycle of the Scrum framework and the Deming cycle that allows to identify, define and specify the processes and techniques to be managed during said phase. An applied research is proposed, under a case study according to the nature of the disciplinary area. On the other hand, in addition to this, the opportunity to apply this framework in daily life has been identified. Contributing, mainly as a contribution to the line of knowledge generation in the scientific field of applied research of agile methodologies in life projects. In the same way, a path is left in the scientific study to integrate continuous improvement in the implementation of the Scrum framework.

This study proposes applied research to adopt problem-based learning as a learning strategy for educational programs in computer science. The use of the seven-step methodology is available to implement problem-based learning in a case study within the Autonomous University of Campeche. It refers to the basic algorithmic subject of the logical of programming studied in the first semester of the curriculum map. As an added value and promoting the quality of education, the didactic sequence is added as a technique to apply said strategy and the integration of technological tools that promote, in the same way, educational innovation. The results demonstrate that the adaptability of problem-based learning is efficient and effective in acquiring meaningful learning specifically in the silver case. Likewise, it opens a path for new related research and contributes to the achievement of the graduation profiles of university students. Finally, it is relevant to mention the ease, flexibility and usefulness of the PSeInt software as a tool for algorithm design.

This article carries out applied research for the use and integration of technology in everyday life. The main objective of the study is to apply Bluetooth technology in a project called "Manage your Bth-GTR refrigerator" with the use of a sensor, an Arduino card and the development of a mobile application that provides the user with the ability to handle information related to the temperature and humidity of the refrigerator, and at the same time, store and manage the supply of the products. The knowledge society faces the importance of information in any area of life, particularly its usefulness in devices for everyday use, which is critical and indispensable in our day to day. The assumed methodology is divided into two main phases: the analysis of the IT solution and the integration of the Technologies provided for this purpose. Finally, the functionalities of the implemented mobile application are specified. The proposal evidences the opportunity to carry out future studies on the use, application, integration and implementation of new technologies that provide the human being with efficient and useful tools for daily activities.

This paper proposes a methodology to evaluate the security of a web portal based on the international standard ISO 25010:2011. The methodology includes an evaluation instrument, a table of criteria and the formulas necessary to calculate the five security sub-characteristics. Subsequently, the evaluation is executed in the case study “Sistema Institucional de Seguimiento de Convenios” of San Francisco de Campeche as planned, obtaining satisfactory results.

This article presents the proposal for the design and construction of an academic data repository under data warehouse technology. The initiative of the study arises from the identification of large volumes of data and the importance of combining them to analyze relevant indicators in decision-making by managers in higher-level educational institutions. The applied research proposes the use and implementation of the Hefesto v2.0 methodology capable of guiding step by step in the development of the data warehouse ensuring its start-up. As an added value, emerging technologies are integrated, particularly Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and Visual Studio 2019. The exposed results will serve as an applied study case for information systems administrators, administrative personnel and directors of educational institutions who wish to implement strategies with the aim of optimizing and make more efficient the analysis of data oriented to the benefit of educational processes that allow discerning relevant findings for decision-making.

The drying process is very intensive in energy consumption. Mexico is a major producer of food, especially of varieties of chilies, with quality culinary and medicinal properties. The 65% of the national market as a dry product, which gives a benefit. In the drying process, the convective technology was used, using a horizontal tunnel with direct solar heating air. The kinetics of the solar dryer with direct heating is possible, with an average drying time of 16 hours of solar irradiance. The tests were performed in Temixco, Morelos, Mexico, located at 18 º 51 'of LN and 99º 14' of LO, with average values of 850 W/m2 irradiance maximum. The chamber temperatures were in a range between 31 and 45 °C. The air velocity range was set between 1.3 and 2.4 m/s. Final moisture contents of the dried chili were obtained in a range between 8% and 6% h.b. with an average drying velocity of 4.7 humidity degree/h. The solar direct drying is a technology that allows recovering and trying different agricultural surpluses and could promote the establishment of agro-industries.

This article displays the analysis and evaluation of the use of Emerging Technologies in a computer solution to contribute to health security in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. The objective of the study is to envision Technology with a new approach, as a tool that favors autonomy and social isolation for the benefit of health. The case study of the QRoute academic project is presented, developed by university students who exhibit disciplinary skills and competencies in a comprehensive computing solution composed of a website and a mobile application for the tourist guide in Campeche. With the application of the heuristic method, the analysis, evaluation and correspondence of the Technologies used together with the main health security strategies imposed at the national level in Mexico was carried out. The result of the study concludes that the proposed IT solution directly favors two health security strategies, confinement and healthy distance. In this way, it is ensured that the software management can act as a strategic tool for the reactivation of social, economic and commercial processes in the country.

Today, the image of a company depends substantially on its online presence, the existence of a business website has become a necessity. With this, it is essential to establish assertive communication with customers in order to win and care for their preference. The general objective of this research is to apply a holistic approach and methodology that allows the use of plugins to be applied in practice as a tool to add value to the design, functionality, use and communication of customers with business websites. This as part of the necessary skills or competencies in the learning of students in the area of computer science and technologies with an innovative approach, helping to encourage research in this context. The methodology is carried out from the holistic research process proposed by Hurtado (2006), showing the ten phases in detail in the proposed technological application. Concluding that the holistic approach is fully adaptable for research in the area of computer science.

The current energy need allows new technologies and methods to be applied to meet the needs of a population to pollute as little as possible and make systems more efficient. This work presents the design and installation of a rainwater harvesting system in the Faculty of Engineering of the Autonomous University of Campeche and its use in a garden made up of a body of water and vegetable irrigation, including the implementation of renewable energy, demonstrating that sustainable technologies applied correctly can be in harmony with the environment. The water potential of a free fall is usable for the generation of clean electrical energy using a hydraulic micro-turbine, capable of supplying a submersible pump that allows the recirculation of water within the system. The project focuses on agriculture, aquaculture and hydraulics that link the sustainability that could be achieved thanks to the application of renewable technologies.

This article analyzes the use of Training Projects as a learning strategy, a two-step methodology is carried out: the first corresponds to an applied research, in which the phases of the Training Project are implemented during the course of a learning unit (Software Project Management). The second, once the case study has been put into practice, a field investigation is applied, for the self-evaluation of the applied strategy. The data collection instrument is a survey designed with the Google Forms tool and shared via institutional email. The results of the study are promising, the use of Formative Projects in learning, they are fully aligned to the learning unit and the achievement of its competence was very satisfactory, showing that 96.1% of the students agree or fully agree that they successfully completed their projects and clearly identify the disciplinary competence achieved in the process. There is no doubt that this study opens the gap to design methodologies and/or action plans where Training Projects can contribute to the achievement of the skills of knowledge, know-how and know-how in the disciplinary field of any area.
