In support of developing a parenting program for young couples, this study conducted to determine whether and how significantly the module was affects parenting practice among young couples in a small groups. Data were collected through experimental research. The subjects of this research were young couples with requirements as follows: have children whose age is maximum five years old, graduated from high schools, able to communicate fluently, and are willing to attend all interventions and are not joining any similar training. The subjects were 26 parents who are domiciled in the Province of the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia and recruited through social media. The data analysis technique was a paired sample t-test. The result indicated -6.299 value t and value p=0.000 or (p<0.01). It showed a significant development of parenting comprehension before and after training (mean pretest is about 62.13 and mean post-test is about 78.26). This parenting program module needs to be tested in the wider population to form into final results.

This study examines the horticultural diversification strategies of rice farmers in Manyaran Village, Wonogiri Regency, to enhance income and sustainability amidst the challenges of high capital and production costs, low yields, and market prices in rice farming. The research aims to contribute to broader development goals, including poverty reduction and food security, by investigating how diversification can improve economic outcomes for farmers. A mixed-method approach combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews was used to collect data on production costs, yields, and income from both rice and horticultural crops. Socioeconomic factors influencing diversification decisions were also explored. The results reveal that diversifying into horticulture has helped reduce production costs and increase profitability, while traditional rice farming remains economically unviable. The study found that the most significant livelihood capitals for farmers were social, natural, and human capital, with strong community interactions, active farmer groups, and access to agricultural equipment enhancing social capital. The availability of extensive land, irrigation, and labor resources facilitated the transition to horticulture. These findings suggest that horticultural diversification can offer better economic returns than traditional rice farming, with potential for replication in other regions. Future research should explore the long-term impacts and policy support needed for promoting diversified farming systems.

Pendahuluan: Tindakan operasi merupakan tatalaksana yang dilakukan dibawah pengaruh anestesi atau pembiusan dan menjadi faktor penyebab kecemasan pada pasien. Ruang bedah elektif digunakan untuk merawat pasien yang direncanakan mendapatkan terapi pembedahan. Masalah keperawatan yang ditemukan pada pasien di ruang bedah elektif yaitu kecemasan dan nyeri. Waktu tunggu operasi bisa memanjang dikarenakan pasien harus menjalani pemeriksaan dan dalam keadaan stabil. Mindfulness merupakan latihan menyadari kondisi yang dialami tubuh, pikiran, perasaan, situasi saat ini dan berpikir secara sadar untuk membuat perasaan atau situasi yang tenang, meningkatkan kesehatan dan kesejahteraan melalui pemahaman pengalaman antara pikiran, tubuh, dan emosi. Tujuan: Mengetahui pengaruh pemberian audio terapi berbasis mindfullnes theraphy terhadap kecemasan pasien preoperasi di Ruang Bedah Elektif. Metode: Desain pra experiment dengan pendekatan one-group pra-post test design. Populasi seluruh pasien dewasa di ruang Bedah elektif yang menunggu operasi. Sample pasien dewasa di ruang Bedah elektif yang akan menjalani operasi sesuai kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi berjumlah 7 pasien. Menggunakan Accidental sampling, pada Pre-Post Test, Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuisioner pengukuran ansietas HADS (Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale) dan NOC (nursing outcome classification). The prevalence of mental and emotional health disorders (depression and anxiety) nationally reached 9.8%. Medical students are required to master various competency areas that can cause students to feel pressure and potentially triggering anxiety. The OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) is an exam that known as a cause of higher anxiety than other exams. This study aims to analyse the factors that influence anxiety during OSCE for medical. This study is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach which aims to reveal and study the phenomena experienced by the subjects. The sample is all active medical students’ class 2019, 2020 and 2021 who fulfil the specified inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data collection methods are Focused Group Discussion (FGD), observation and documentation. We analysed the results of the FGD and interviews using the content analysis method. The results of the research found large categories of research problems, including perceptions and anxiety facing OSCE, factors that cause anxiety during OSCE, and students' coping mechanisms. In dealing with stressors in the form of OSCE students will use two types of coping strategies, problem-focused coping and emotion-focused coping.

Computational thinking is a sophisticated problem-solving approach based on computer science. Implementing computational thinking in elementary schools remains a challenge for education, particularly for teachers and students. Teachers must construct learning experiences using computational thinking to make the learning process more engaging, while students must solve issues logically, systematically, and effectively. This study aims to present an overview of the application of computational thinking in natural and social sciences (IPAS) learning and identify its application in fifth-grade elementary school students. The research employed a qualitative research design with a single one-shot case study. The research subjects were 40 fifth-grade students and four teachers. This investigation was conducted during a single meeting that followed the lesson plan for the force material around us. The findings revealed that (a) analysis of student activity data yielded a percentage of 81.25%; (b) the data analysis of student responses to learning yielded favorable results, approaching 100%. According to interviews and observations of CT (Computational Thinking) in SSI (Socio-scientific Issue) in IPAS subjects, implementing CT learning on the forces around us might bring up aspects of the CT foundation, such as pattern recognition decomposition, abstraction, and algorithms. The learning scenario is that students are requested to assess many types of activities that occur in everyday life. Additionally, students will outline various actions that use force.

This article aims to review the status of botanical insecticide and its commercialization constraints in Indonesia. The method used was by tracking botanical insecticide papers published from 1993 to 2019. The collected data consisted of the plant source of botanical insecticide; intensively studied insect pests; and the number of commercial botanical insecticides and their active ingredients. The results found that Annona muricata, Azadirachta indica, Nicotiana tabacum, Carica papaya, and Cymbopogon nardus were the most common plants used for botanical insecticide. The most studied insect pests were: Spodoptera litura, Crocidolomia pavonana, Plutella xylostella, Sitophilus oryzae, and Aedes aegypti. Methyl eugenol was the most common commercialized active ingredient followed by azadirachtin. Citronella and geraniol were used only as mixtures. The constraint of commercializing botanical insecticide was from the companies. They are not interested in developing botanical insecticides since the prospect is not certain and the registration fee is more expensive than that of synthetic ones.

Sugarcane is a kind of plantation crop that can be used as a raw material for the sugar industry. The productivity of sugarcane can be influenced by several factors, including infection of pathogenic bacteria such as Leifsonia xyli f.sp. xyli (Lxx), the causal agent of Ratoon Stunting Disease (RSD) in sugarcane. The disease is one of the major diseases of sugarcane worldwide. RSD is symptomless unless the disease incidence is severe. The Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) method is generally known for detecting plant pathogens. However, there is still limited information on the detection of RSD using PCR. Therefore, our study aimed to detect the existence of RSD in sugarcane seeds using the PCR method. Three sugarcane varieties were used in this study, including AAS Agribun, AMS Agribun, and BQ (positive control of RSD). We did sample the stems and midribs of those three varieties at the age of 3 and 7 months. The results showed that Lxx was found both in the stem and midrib of sugarcane variety BQ at the age of 3 and 7 months. These results indicated that the PCR method can be used for early detection of RSD in sugarcane seeds.

Patients’ diabetes mellitus is prone to an increase of bacteria in the oral cavity which can cause abnormalities to the buccal and gingival mucosa cells. This study aims to analyze the relationship between high blood glucose levels in Diabetes Mellitus Type 2 and the condition of buccal and gingival cytology cells by using Giemsa stain and Periodic Acid Schiff (PAS). This research was an observational study with cross sectional approach used 16 respondents of Diabetes Mellitus Type 2 with blood glucose level was 321.87±91.86 mg/dl. The observation of buccal cells showed that 10 people had normal cells (62.5%) and 6 people had weak damage (37.5%). The gingival cells condition found that 8 people had normal cells (50%), 6 people had weak cell damage (37.5%) and 2 people had moderate cell damage (12.5%). The results of epithelial cells by PAS staining showed normal conditions in 10 people (62.5%), slightly damaged in 3 people (18.8%), and moderately damaged in 3 people (18.8%). Based on statistical analysist results was obtained no significant relationship between blood glucose level and abnormality of buccal and gingival mucosa, p-value = 0.105 (buccal), p-value = 0.151 (gingival), but significant relation in epithelial cells stained with PAS (p-value = 0.048). In the future, prospective and comparative studies can be conducted to observe the development of PAS staining in individuals with diabetes mellitus (DM). This could assist in exploring fluctuating changes related to blood glucose control

Dengue is an infectious disease that is still a concern and requires severe treatment. One of the prevention efforts is health promotion activities regarding Dengue prevention in risk areas. Preparing a health promotion strategy will be effective and efficient if it is based on target area study data, which can be done by identifying risks and creating area mapping based on larval presence data. Jorong District has the highest incidence rate in Tanah Laut Regency, divided into 11 villages. This research used map methods and design. The research population was 10,003 households, and the sample size was 100 households, which was taken using simple random sampling. The larvae risk data were analyzed univariately and presented as a risk percentage. The research results showed that Jorong Village had the highest risk (62.66%) and Alur Village had the lowest risk (41.28%). There are five villages with a high category, namely Sabuhur Village (50.65%), Jorong (62.66%), Asam Jaya (59.93%), Asri Mulya (56.72%), and Batalang (55.03%). About 84% of high-risk villages had larvae, and 80% of low-risk villages had no larvae. It was concluded that risk mapping was proven to have 82% accuracy (good) in predicting the presence of larvae.

Background: Paracetamol is often used as the main analgesic in Indonesia. The use of more than 4 g/day or a single dose above 10 g can cause hepatotoxicity. This can be overcome by modifying the structure through a computer-aided drug design (CADD) approach, particularly molecular docking, which aims to produce compounds with greater potency and fewer side effects. Objective: This study aimed to determine the analgesic activity and toxicity of paracetamol derivatives modified using the Topliss method. Methods: Analgesic activity was tested by molecular docking of the COX-2 receptor (PDB ID 3LN1) using AutoDock Tool 4.2 and toxicity testing using pkCSM and Protox Online Tool. Results: The results of docking showed that the free binding energy values for test compounds 1 to 5 are -10.59 kcal/mol, -10.17 kcal/mol, -8.79 kcal/mol, -10.01 kcal/mol, and -9.32 kcal/mol, respectively, with corresponding inhibition constants of 17.29 nM, 35.21 nM, 360.88 nM, 46.36 nM, and 146.65 nM. These values are lower than paracetamol, which has a free binding energy of -6.21 kcal/mol and an inhibition constant of 28,043 nM. The results showed that the test compound was more stable in ligand-receptor binding. Toxicity tests showed that all the test compounds and paracetamol belonged to toxicity class IV. The test compound had an LD50 value of 1551 mg/kg, which was higher than that of paracetamol (338 mg/kg), indicating better effectiveness. Conclusions: Compound 2 was predicted to have the best biological activity and potential as an alternative to paracetamol. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
