Immune checkpoint blockade with specific antibodies can accelerate anti-tumor immunity, resulting in clinical responses in patients with various types of cancer. However, these antibodies achieve only partial tumor regression. Thus, a wide variety of treatment combinations based on programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) pathway inhibition are under development to enhance such therapeutic effects. In this study, the effects of combination treatment using PRI-724, a selective inhibitor of CBP/β-catenin, and an anti-PD-L1 antibody were examined in a mouse model of colon cancer liver metastasis. Mice were inoculated with SL4 colon cancer cells to produce metastatic liver tumors. The combination treatment resulted in regression of tumor growth, whereas monotherapy with each treatment individually failed to exhibit any anti-tumor activity. In addition, co-administration of the inhibitor and antibody induced CD8+CD44lowCD62Llow cells and interferon (IFN)-γ production in CD8+ T-cells in the liver compared with that in control mice. Administration of an anti-CD8 antibody mitigated the anti-tumor effects of the combined treatment of PRI-724 and anti-PD-L1 antibody. In conclusion, targeting CBP/β-catenin, combined with PD-1/PD-L1 immune checkpoint blockade, shows potential as a new therapeutic strategy for treating liver metastasis during colon cancer.

この研究は,昨年に引き続いて三遠南信と呼ばれる広域連携地域における景観のあり方を色 の観点から探ることを目的としている。かなり広域における「景観色」調査から「地域らしさ」を具体的なカラーイメージとして抽出する事である。プレリサーチと同じイメージ調査手法を活用して,イメージ言語から地域の特徴を抽出し,代表的な都市の景観 真の色分析結 と比較検討している。地域のイメージキーワードの抽出と地域固有色の収集結 を踏まえて、三遠南信「らしさ」の抽出につなげている。, This contents is continue study from last year. Its suitable and strong point by image word from this wide area. I investigate with original analysis from photograph image collarge in the main city.In the last stage on sampling from landscape color is typical of THE SAN-EN-NANSHIN. I wish to select of suitable image inSAN-EN-NANSHIN from this result by analysis.

この研究は、三遠南信と呼ばれる広域連携地域における景観のあり方を色彩の観点から探るための手法開発を目的としている。調査研究の大きなテーマは「景観色」から「地域らしさ」をイメージとして抽出する事である。さらにイメージ調査手法を活用して、イメージ言語から地域の特徴を抽出し、その上で景観写真の色分析結果と比較検討することが出来ないだろうか。そのための研究プロセスの検討と分析手法の開発を目指している。, The San-en-nanshin area is mutual relationship in the prefecture Shizuoka and Aichi and Nagano. The following thesis is the research report on landscape color in the San-en-nanshin area. The objective is extract typical in this area from landscape photographs and image research. I report in this step what is it possible in the color analysis by landscape and image.

Graves’ disease is an autoimmune hyperthyroidism caused by thyrotropin receptor antibodies (TRAbs). Because Epstein–Barr virus (EBV) persists in B cells and is occasionally reactivated, we hypothesized that EBV contributes to TRAbs production in Graves’ disease patients by stimulating the TRAbs-producing B cells. In order for EBV to stimulate antibody-producing cells, EBV must be present in those cells but that have not yet been observed. We examined whether EBV-infected (EBV(+)) B cells with TRAbs on their surface (TRAbs(+)) as membrane immunoglobulin were present in peripheral blood of Graves’ disease patients. We analyzed cultured or non-cultured peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) from 13 patients and 11 healthy controls by flow-cytometry and confocal laser microscopy, and confirmed all cultured PBMCs from 8 patients really had TRAbs(+) EBV(+) double positive cells. We unexpectedly detected TRAbs(+) cells in all healthy controls, and TRAbs(+) EBV(+) double positive cells in all cultured PBMC from eight healthy controls. The frequency of TRAbs(+) cells in cultured PBMCs was significantly higher in patients than in controls (p = 0.021). In this study, we indicated the presence of EBV-infected B lymphocytes with TRAbs on their surface, a possible player of the production of excessive TRAbs, the causative autoantibody for Graves’ disease. This is a basic evidence for our hypothesis that EBV contributes to TRAbs production in Graves’ disease patients. Our results further suggest that healthy controls have the potential for TRAbs production. This gives us an important insight into the pathogenesis of Graves’ disease.

A SiO 2 (50 nm)/buried W(70 nm)/Si(100) sample was prepared and used to detect vibrational modes of submonolayer adsorbates on a SiO 2 surface by reflection-absorption infrared spectroscopy (RAIRS). Enhancement of the RAIRS signal by the W layer was clearly shown by comparing v (OD) signal of surface deuteroxyl species to that on a SiO 2 (50 nm)/Si(100) sample. Utilizing the SiO 2 /W/Si sample, RAIRS was used to follow the reversible reaction of surface hydroxyl species of SiO 2 with methanol to give surface methoxy species.

Adsorption and oxidation of CO on Pd(110)-c(2 × 4)−O were investigated by reflection−absorption infrared spectroscopy (RAIRS), low-energy electron diffraction (LEED), and temperature-programmed reaction (TPR). High-frequency CO at 2140 cm-1, which was greatly influenced by adsorbed oxygen atoms, was observed by RAIRS even at low CO coverage when the Pd(110)-c(2 × 4)−O surface was exposed to CO at 100 K. This peak developed along with a broad band around 2000 cm-1 from low CO coverage to the saturation. The reaction of CO and an oxygen atom to form CO2 on the c(2 × 4)−O surface was observed in the range 100−450 K. Below 250 K, two desorption peaks of CO2 were observed in TPR spectra and the corresponding RAIR spectra showed that linear CO species (2140−2070 cm-1) disappeared by desorption as CO or reaction with an oxygen atom to form CO2, while there was little decrease of bridge CO species (2020−1880 cm-1). It is likely that linear CO species mainly reacted to form CO2 on Pd(110)-c(2 × 4)−O below 250 K. W...
