This deliverable outlines the overall communication and dissemination plan (CDP) for the CRAFT-OA project. The CDP describes the project and its targets, the objectives for its communication and dissemination (C&D) activities and presents a stakeholder analysis. Furthermore, the CDP explains the project’s C&D strategy and gives an outlook on C&D measures already initiated and planned for the future. The strategic approach, internal and external communication activities and a KPI table are presented in this document. Additionally, the deliverable outlines its intertwinement with D7.2 “Exploitation and Sustainability Plan”, due for M18, identifies potential risks and threats to the C&D goals and gives an overview of the collaboration among CRAFT-OA, PALOMERA, and DIAMAS., This deliverable is currently under review by the EC.

This document provides an introduction to the OPERAS-PLUS project’s key exploitable results (KERs), including aspects such as the definition, value proposition, IP management, exploitation path and dissemination activities and adoption. It describes the methodology that will be used to capture individual project results and iterate and mature how each KER will be sustained beyond the life of the project. Updates of this initial document will be provided at M18 and M30.

Due to several factors, such as the small size of resource providers, the historical underfunding, and lack of sustainability in the area of scholarly communication in social sciences and humanities, the variety of technical skills and resources across Europe is fragmented and not organised enough to be efficient, particularly to address the challenge of transitioning to Open Science. By fulfilling its mission, the distributed research infrastructure OPERAS provides the research community with the missing brick it needs to find, access, create, edit, disseminate and easily and efficiently validate SSH outputs across Europe. A number of services have been developing over the last several years across the OPERAS community through a variety of projects to address these needs. Though many are in various stages of maturity, a coherent picture is coming together for what is available for the SSH community. The OPERAS service portfolio offers different types of services that adapt to the organisational structures available such as managed services where the individual services are not only sustained by OPERAS Research Infrastructure (RI), but where OPERAS is also re- sponsible for the full service delivery. GoTriple is a perfect example of this type of service. Another type of service are community services that are managed directly by the community provider, such as the Peer Review Information Service for Monographs (PRISM) provided by DOAB, but is supported and disseminated by OPERAS. In addition, there are a number of internal services that facilitate the operation of the OPERAS federation as a whole such as the OPERAS ID (single sign-on). Within the present report, we provide the final outcome of TRIPLE’s exploitation and sustainability strategy. Our primary focus was and still is on creating a valuable and viable business model for TRIPLE’s main Key Exploitable Result (KER 1): the GoTriple Discovery Platform. At the very beginning of the report, we give an update on all our exploitation activities and an overview of the exploitation related-reports created within the project runtime. Besides the GoTriple platform, the TRIPLE project has achieved even more exploitable results. Section 2 gives an overview of these and briefly describes five KERs (KER 2-6) by providing a short description, a maturity classification and information on sustainability. Three KERs (KER 2, 5 and 6)are described in more detail due to the integration in the Horizon Results Booster Service(ECsupport action to maximise the impact of publicly funded research within the EU) activities. The main focus of this report lies in the business plan for GoTriple to secure the economic sustainability of the platform. Herewith we are covering all relevant aspects of the business plan starting with the results of a Business Opportunity Self-Assessment, followed by a definition of a Unique Value Proposition (UVP) for GoTriple, providing market insights regarding early adopters, market size estimations, market trends, and competition. After that, we present the TRIPLE Governance framework in the form of the “GoTriple Committee” which defines the responsibilities, practices and procedures to set the strategic direction, allocate the resources and specify the integration into OPERAS. In the financial section of the business plan, we provide insight into the cost estimates and the expected revenues. In the last part of the business plan, we give an outlook on the activities, roles and milestones for the first year after the end of the project. In the report's final section, we summarise the project’s contribution to the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) in the form of a position paper of the TRIPLE consortium by pointing out concrete needs and open questions.

Within the present report, we outline the process and progress in terms of Business Model (BM) design and Business Model evaluation. The report provides an overview of the TRIPLE Business Model development approach and a brief description of the current status of the GoTriple Platform. Besides a summary of our Horizon Results Booster activities, we present the entire Business Model (BM) design journey, which includes a review of the used business analysis methods and insights into the crucial factors for developing a successful BM. In the field of BM “Desirability”, we illustrate our activities to match the customer requirements with the offered services of GoTriple by using the Value Proposition Canvas. In terms of BM “Viability”, we focus our activities on identifying possible revenue possibilities for GoTriple, resulting in concepts for donation and membership solutions. In the BM “Feasibility” area, we outline the TRIPLE Governance Model (GoTriple Committee), which should act as an organisational body to ensure economic sustainability for GoTriple after the project ends. Concerning BM testing, we demonstrate the development and mapping of assumptions and the subsequent transformation into test procedures (test cards), including the definition of test methods, metrics and criteria. Hereafter we provide the outcome of a Risk Assessment of the GoTriple Platform divided into four risk factors (Partnership-, Technological-, Market-, and IPR/Legal Risk Factors). Finally, we present the updated GoTriple Business Models divided into the two most important customer groups (Researchers, Institutions) in a short description and presented utilising the Lean Canvas., The TRIPLE project (https://project.gotriple.eu/), which is financed under the Horizon 2020 framework (https://cordis.europa.eu/project/id/863420), under Grant Agreement No. 863420, with approx. 5.6 million Euros for a duration of 42 months (2019-2023). The EOSC Digital Innovation Hub (EOSC DIH) is the featured mechanism for private companies to collaborate with public sector institutions within the European Open Science Cloud in order to access technical services, research data, and human capital. Over the course of the EOSC-hub project, a total of 18 business pilots worked to mature their service offering and achieved incredible success. This publication showcases the major results and achievements of each business pilot.

This session will aim to discuss engagement strategies to increase uptake of EOSC services in the Private Sector. EOSC-hub will kickstart this session with a presentation of the success stories and from the use cases of the EOSC Digital Innovation Hub. The audience will then be engaged in a discussion on roadblocks and best practices in fostering collaboration with and uptake by the private sector of EOSC services with EOSC-hub and SSHOC. SSHOC, now halfway the development of its services, brings the experience from private sector partner and service provider Semantic Web Company to the discussion. The session will pull out recommendations for the EOSC in engaging the private sector, based on the lessons learned from the EOSC-DIH and discussion with services providers and users. A report on the implementation of the integrated EOSC Hub Service Management System (SMS) to effectively manage the delivery of services to customers.

This deliverable provides an overview of the operational processes, policies and procedures applicable to the services of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) Portfolios. This is achieved by providing a description of the proposed EOSC hub Service Management System including background of its development and plans for future activities.&nbsp

The purpose of the EOSC Service Management Framework (SMF) is to describe theimplementation of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles, policies and structured processes ofthe European Open Science Cloud and to clarify the operational constituents, roles andresponsibilities of the Service Providers to ensure a high quality of the service delivery to theCustomers and their users. This document is a first attempt to lay down some concepts andapproaches to organise and manage services within the future EOSC. Itproposes a flexible approachallowing for various levels of service management maturity, which would apply to different services,sometimes pertaining to the same federation.

This document outlines an initial draft framework for Service Portfolio Management for the EOSC. This will form the basis of further discussion with various EOSC stakeholders. In this document, we describe the current landscape of Research IT services, give examples of service portfolio management in a number of communities and provide a first sketch on how service portfolio management can be implemented for the EOSC.

With this paper,EGI proposes the Open Science Commons as a new approach to digital research, tackling policy challenges and embracing open science as a new paradigm for knowledge creation and collaboration. EGI invites organisations from the research landscape to join it in this journey to develop these concepts, and through them to advance the implementation of the European Research Area.

Bringing the digital European Research Area (ERA) online means modernising Europe’s research infrastructure by promoting open science through the availability, accessibility and reuse of scientific data and results, the use of web- based tools that facilitate scientific collaboration and ensuring public access to research. As the European Grid Infrastructure (EGI) is the largest European distributed computing infrastructure providing 24/7 access to large scale computing, storage and data resources through a federation of national resource providers, it allows scientists from all disciplines to make the most out of the latest computing technologies for the benefit of their research. This paper describes the methodology and approach for defining EGI’s role in bringing this digital ERA online. The work presented defines the roles and functions of EGI as an open ICT ecosystem, required service redesign, the added value of EGI for the European research communities and demonstrates the role that EGI plays in contributing to the Europe 2020 strategy for social-economic impact.

This document presents a user-centred design framework aligned with OPERAS's openness, diversity, and inclusion values. It empowers users and involves them in decision-making processes for service creation, serving as a valuable resource to enhance user engagement and foster a user-centric approach within the OPERAS community. Part A introduces foundational concepts, principles and processes for user-centred design and research in OPERAS projects. Part B lists methods and tools derived from literature and existing projects, benefiting user researchers and people who do research (PWDR). The framework will continuously refine and update for relevance and effectiveness throughout the project.

The OPERAS-PLUS Data Management Plan (DMP) provides information regarding the collection, management, and processing of data collected and/or produced during the project phase (1 September 2022-31 August 2025) and outlines measures to make this data FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, reusable).

The OPERAS-PLUS Communication Strategy and Toolkit describes thecommunication goals and objectives of the project and wider OPERAS ResearchInfrastructure, as well as outlines the activities and tools that will be used to achieve them. It provides a framework for consistent and effective communication across all channels and stakeholders. The strategy includes messaging, audience analysis, channel selection, and measurement and evaluation criteria. The toolkit, on the other hand, provides specific templates, guidelines, and resources for implementing the strategy. Overall, this Communication Strategy and Toolkit is essential for ensuring that all communication efforts align with the goals and effectively reach their target audience.

This report is the second deliverable of Work Package 5 within the project COESO - Collaborative Engagement on Societal Issues. It focuses on the technical operationalization of the cooperation analytics developed within COESO deliverable D5.1, which presented the conceptual framework of cooperation indicators for citizen science projects in the social sciences and humanities. The specific aims of D5.2 are the following: 1. To understand the diversity of citizen science projects for adapting the conceptual framework to the projects’ practices 2. To review the cooperation indicators by confronting them with technical constraints so they are calculable within the Virtual Ecosystem for Research Activation (VERA), the platform under development within COESO.
