BACKGROUND The estimation of bulk composition of the micro-area of a rock is an important basis of tracing rock evolution. The conventional electron probe microanalysis (EPMA) mapping method cannot provide quantitative analysis results of the surface scanning area. OBJECTIVES In order to estimate the composition of the micro-area by quantitative mapping of EPMA. METHODS The mapping and point analyses were carried out to determine the composition of the micro-area of a homogeneous quartz-diorite. By performing image correction of the pixels of the mapping of the major elements, and using the point analysis data after ZAF correction and the gray value of the surface scan image to perform the least square curve fitting method, the X-ray intensity and concentration were converted. RESULTS By comparing to X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (XRF), the relative errors of SiO2, CaO, FeO, Al2O3 and TiO2 of EPMA method were within 10%, and the relative standard deviation was less than 10%. The relative error and standard deviation of MgO and Na2O were slightly larger, which can be improved by multiple measurements. The K2O content were not accurate due to lack of K-rich silicate minerals' point analysis. CONCLUSIONS The results show that the estimation of micro-area composition of a rock with relatively homogeneous mineral distributions can be carried out by using point analyses of EPMA to correct the mapping under good instrument conditions, and the influence of mineral morphology, particle size, and distribution can be reduced by multiple measurements on different sections.

This study, grounded in psychological capital theory and the work resource model, investigates the impact of construction workers' work resilience on their leisure sports participation. An interdisciplinary integration model was developed, incorporating work resilience, safety and health awareness, and leisure sports participation, providing empirical evidence for enhancing the well-being of the construction workforce. The study specifically examines the roles of physiological resilience, psychological resilience, social support, and occupational engagement in this context. A survey conducted with 663 construction workers in China and Korea revealed the following: (1) physiological resilience, psychological resilience, social support, and occupational engagement significantly and positively influence workers' leisure sports participation; (2) safety and health awareness serves as a significant mediator between work resilience and leisure sports participation among construction workers. These findings underscore the importance of improving the work environment and creating semi-natural restorative landscapes to promote the physical and mental health of construction workers, as well as their engagement in leisure sports. The study calls for governmental and community initiatives, including policy support and resource allocation, to comprehensively enhance the overall well-being of construction workers. The green transformation of sports stadiums has now become an inevitable trend for the sustainable development of sports. This study synthesized consumer behavior research and green consumption research, based on the CAC model, to explore the role of cognitive and affective interactions on the promotion of the intention behind green sports stadium consumption, discussing the role of environmental cognition at the cognitive level and subdividing its connotations into the three categories of a sense of environmental responsibility, environmental protection awareness, and green self-efficacy, introducing at the same time a natural connection into the field of green sports consumption, based on which the green perceived value and green trust fusion are jointly used as affective factor variables. The data from 463 questionnaires were used to construct a structural equation model for empirical analysis, and the following results were shown: First, environmental cognition, environmental responsibility, environmental awareness, and green self-efficacy have a positive effect on green stadium consumption; second, green building perceived value and trust play a mediating role in the relationship between environmental cognition and green stadium consumption intention; third, nature connection and green building perceived value and trust play a positive role in the relationship between environmental cognition and green stadium consumption intention. The purpose of this study was to explore the interaction between cognition and emotion on the the intention behind the consumption of green stadiums from the psychological level of consumers, so as to provide a reference for improving consumers' green sports consumption and accelerating the development of the green sports industry. Using a quantitative method, this paper examined the role of physical activity well-being before physical activity participation and gentrification architecture pursuit in 481 respondents (including 377 with childhood left-behind experiences) in Xi'an City, China, and tested the effect of the metacognition level of the group with childhood left-behind experiences on this pathway. The results showed that (1) physical activity participation of the group with childhood left-behind experiences had a significant positive predictive effect on gentrification architecture pursuit; (2) the level of physical activity participation of the group with childhood left-behind experiences could exert an indirect effect on gentrification architecture pursuit through physical activity well-being; (3) metacognition played a negative role in the pathway of physical activity participation predicting gentrification architecture pursuit of the group with childhood left-behind experiences; (4) the level of metacognition played a negative role in the pathway of physical activity participation and gentrification architecture pursuit of the group with childhood left-behind experiences; (5) metacognition also played a negative role in the path of physical activity well-being in predicting gentrification architecture pursuit in groups with childhood left-behind experiences. This paper examined the factors influencing Chinese college students' psychological perceptions of green retrofitting of college sports stadiums. It focused on the roles of green skepticism, future rational cognition, and future perceptual cognition. A total of 551 college students from five universities in Xi'an were tested. The results indicated that college students' green skepticism, future rational cognition, future perceptual cognition, and psychological perceptions of green retrofitting of college sports stadiums were at a moderate level and that green skepticism had a significant and negative influence on college students' psychological perceptions of green retrofitting of college sports stadiums. Green skepticism was a significant negative predictor of environmental values (β = −0.183, p < 0.001), natural empathy (β = −0.164, p < 0.001), and moral elevation (β = −0.187, p < 0.001). In addition, future rational cognition and future perceptual cognition served as parallel mediators in the college students' psychological perceptions of green retrofitting of stadiums. It is notable that the mediating effect of future rational cognition was greater than that of future perceptual cognition. The findings indicate that resolving green skepticism and enhancing transparency and trust are crucial for enhancing college students' psychological perceptions and the behavioral benefits of green retrofitting of college sports stadiums. Furthermore, the facilitating effect of future rational cognition and future perceptual cognition assists college students in making more rational and ethical decisions and in garnering broad support for environmental actions. Aqueous rechargeable batteries have drawn wide attention owing to the advantages of low cost, high safety, and rapid kinetic process. In recent years, the use of NH4+ ions and other nonmetallic ions as carrier batteries has come into researchers' view. The storage of NH4+ shows fast diffusion kinetics and the ability to achieve highly reversible redox processes by forming hydrogen bonds between NH4+ and electrode materials. Designing and exploration of advanced materials for NH4+ storage are of high significance in building high‐performance aqueous battery systems. This review summarizes the latest advances of critical materials, including Prussian blue analogs, transition metal oxides, and organic compounds for NH4+ batteries. Comparison of properties among different materials is discussed in detail. Different NH4+ storage behaviors according to several kinds of materials are demonstrated. Finally, the challenges and valuable perspectives for the further development of aqueous NH4+ batteries are also provided. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Green buildings play a pivotal role in advancing ecological civilization and promoting green, low-carbon development. Numerous studies have delved into the construction techniques, process attributes, economic benefits, risk management, and benefit assessments associated with green buildings. Concurrently, research on the profitability models, marketing strategies, and public purchasing intentions of commercial fitness clubs has also yielded extensive findings. Yet, there is a noticeable gap: limited research has investigated the nexus between green building development and consumers' propensity to purchase fitness services from these commercial establishments. Building upon the foundation set by previous scholars and employing the Extended IAD Decision-Making Model, this study utilizes the PLS-SEM method to analyze collected questionnaire data. Through path analysis, we examine the relationships between variables. Our findings indicate that: (1) Positive perceptions of green building consumption bolster the purchasing intentions toward fitness services in commercial fitness clubs. (2) Perceived risk mediates the relationship between green building consumption perceptions and consumers' fitness service purchasing intentions in commercial fitness clubs. (3) Environmental awareness enhances the correlation between green building consumption perceptions and the propensity to purchase services in these clubs. The goal of this research is to underscore the importance of green buildings both in environmental and economic contexts and to offer insights that can elevate the profitability of commercial fitness clubs. Lithium‐metal batteries have attracted much attention due to their high energy density. However, the hydrolysis of LiPF6 leads to uncontrollable Li dendrites growth and fast capacity fading. Herein, a hydrophobic Li+‐solvated structure is designed by inducing the hexafluoroisopropyl acrylate into the electrolyte system. Due to the alkene groups and non‐polar perfluorocarbon (−CF2CF2CF3) chain, a hydrophobic surface around Li‐ion solvated aggregates can be obtained to protect the LiPF6 against the attack from trace H2O. Moreover, the additive could also help to form an organic solid electrolyte interphase with rich polar C−F bonds, which can capture Li ions to restrain the dendrite growth. Therefore, the Li||Li symmetric cells show a stable cycling performance up to 500 h at a current density of 1 mA cm−2. The Li||LiNi0.6Co0.2Mn0.2O2 cells show good cycling stability, exhibiting a specific capacity of 111 mAh g−1 at 1 C with a capacity retention of 74 % after 200 cycles. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
